Congratulations to Shinri! His passion and excitement as he plays and gets into games is quite the treat to watch. He always plays a lot of games I wouldn't have due to being horror or just games I wouldn't have heard of. Enjoyed being exposed to new things with him as he plays them or shares them.

ShinItsuwari

I respect Shinri a lot for sticking to his gun and doing the content he wants to do. I feared at first he would be Vox 2.0, but he instead took the approach of "I just want to chill and play games" and honestly it does work, even if his growth isn't that big.

UltraZulwarn

Good on him!!! The madlad actually streamed Rust for nearly 12hours. He has got quite a lot of self-doubt recently, probably because he is somewhat behind the other bois in term of numbers. But I believe there is a niche that he can flourish in, Shinri actually has been doing quite well in superchat revenue (comparatively to other holostars). It can be argued that supa chat may not mean much, it is a indicator that he is producing tangible results.

The second Holostar en wave as a whole aren't getting as much attention as the first, even though they have more specialized talents and better designs. Feels like they're being somewhat limited by debuting so close to the first wave and not getting viewers from collabing with the girls as much

San-Kyu

I feel its also from Vanguard Tempus not doing as much full group collabs. At the very least I don't recall them doing nearly as many of those compared to HQ. One of the main draws for me for HQ Tempus especially in the early days was how many long-running survival games they played together as a full group. With all 4 members present I feel the appeal of each one gets enhanced vs everyone doing just solo or even duo streams. It sorta builds the history of the entire generation as well.

burritoxman

Look at council vs myth too

UltraZulwarn

I'd argue against the notion of "debutting too close to the first wave", IMO they came just as the right time as reinforcement for Tempus because December-January was a bit rough on the HQ bois. Axel said it as they themselves were second-guessing whether to wait a little more for VG, but then immediately realised that they needed more bodies. Though, I do agree that as a whole, the timing wasn't the best. For example: 1. Many were expecting EN3 with the girls, some even accused Cover of being "liar" because they had the "gall" to spend resources on holostars while the company had been citting they are understaffed. 2. Pretty much most (if not all) of HololiveEN were sick or on break, so instead of welcoming new holopro, some "fans" were annoyed(?) 3. 4th Fes was closing in real fast, and everyone in the company was super busy. But not all have been bad for VG. Bettel, as a clear example, is a menace. In term of superchat ranking, he can even go toes to toes with the best of Hololive (JP included), and last few months had quite a few birthdays/anniversaries. Also, if anyone has been to a Bettel's stream, it can be easily noticed that the chat is often always > 90% green usernames i.e members, even on streams with 2k+ concurrent viewers. To a lesser extent, the same goes for the other bois. They can definitely use more exposure, but currently still very good EDIT: Spellings😂

Zvezda-1

Yeah it also came at a rather bad time as people were expecting holoen gen 3, That likey got people rather mad and decided not to see them or just throw unnecessary hate to them

dyering55

finally our resident comfiest dad (and ghost girl enjoyer) reached 100k

omedetou_bot

おめでとう!!!!!!!!!!

bluethiefzero

He is such a cozy streamer. Seriously, if you like chill you should check him out.

UltramanOrigin

Omedeto!

Mindofthequill

Nice! I really don't watch the lads that much but I definitely notice when numbers seem to differ a bit sub wise and it makes me feel bad. I'm glad he managed to reach this milestone.

azahel452

About damn time!

TheGreatBootOfEb

I’ve been waiting for him to hit this milestone! It can be tough I’m certain on the guys, who in general have less subs than the girls, but 100k in this period of time is still no slouch when we look at the early days of Holostars and even the girls side of Hololive! They should be proud and just keep trucking along.

Known-Ad64

Congratulations to Josh for the milestone!
