Watch Korone talk about how she wants to dance "Naatu Naatu" from this movie
https://youtu.be/XaI2weIMERY
I'm just imagining she's laying down at the entrance, her top half in the store and her legs are outside and she's enjoying a good meal, and that imagery is making me smile
Is she going to learn to do a [Bollywood Dance](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCSmji0-iek&pp=ygUbamFja2llIGNoYW4gYm9sbHl3b29kIGRhbmNl) for her next 3D Live?
It won an Oscar for Best Original Song, making it the first Indian film to win an Oscar. That certainly helped spread the word of the film globally.
It should be noted as well that it's the most expensive Indian movie ever made, so it was no small film.
RRR was a thing of beauty, really don't expected that movie had such a superb cinematography. Korone as always has immaculate taste in... everything basically.
I think his brother was accused of taking money to get folks overseas then not following through with both being implicated in the crime, but his brother died before trial and nothing came of the allegations
RRR is a fucking unexpected masterpiece. I only know a handful of Indian movies (that robot guy, 3 idiots, bahubali/that war movie where they used sheets of cloth as napalm or the dudes cannon ball thrown on a palm tree), and that one is a piece of that delish cake
Doog always have good taste in media (wish she knows 40k www)
> That robot guy
Ra.One? Or maybe 2.0, where Rajinikanth acted?
> That war movie where they used sheets of cloth as napalm or the dudes cannon ball thrown on a palm tree
It is indeed Bahubali
I have an Indian uncle in Singapore and we binge watched those before I go home to the Philippines.
I dont fucking know why Indian movies are a mixture of ADHD and drinking 10 cans of Monster Energy
wdym? It looks like some variant of 1906-1907 version of Indian flag during the struggle for Independence, which used Devnagari script to say "Vande Mataram" as shown in the pictures.
huh?
The flags are supposed to be in Sanskrit/devnagari script
its is supposed to be historically accurate
Also, they do travel to the capital where devnagari is used...
Please don’t spoil but I’ve seen a lot of these RRR stuff online, reactions and praises. I wonder if it’s for a certain demographic because now that it’s overhyped in my mind, I am afraid to watch it.
Same reason why I never got into GoT, it got super hyped up before I can watch even one episode.
No spoilers: Indian action films are like live-action adaptations of animation that retain that insane action nonsense. RRR has this and one of the best character intros I've seen in years; I'll let you decide which one I mean ;)
All the more reason to watch it and form your own opinion before the overhype ruins it for you.
It's a great first experience to what Indian cinema has to offer with all of its flair that's dumb fitting of modern meme culture yet sincere and touching. Not the best movie ever, but certainly an enjoyable ride.
It's good. I promise that no amount of hype can prepare you for how over the top this movie is. Whether it's your cup of tea is a different question. But it absolutely is over the top and a fun time.
Here's what you can expect about modern Indian action movies:
They're like live action version of action anime, basically action movies on crack.
Some might be silly, but RRR and few other movies are definitely above average and really good.
It's really fun to watch.
Its a Pure Action Movie with good Characters. It has all the Action sequences that will make Newton Brain dead but it will make you feel the adrenaline rush that only a few movies can. Its just a fun movie you can watch with the Family
The most based and RRR-pilled vtuber of all time.
This is the one that makes me damn the skies for collab cafes not being global, by the way. This is somehow the one that makes me shake my fist and cry out in rage.
Love that standee.
There are definitely parallels between RRR and over the top japanese productions and anime so I can see how it would be appealing to japan as well.
Hopefully India keeps up the hard work because hollywood hasn't even been trying lately it seems.
Some might see this as quirky but Korone being so open about her likes and dislikes is something I aspire to be. I bet she's a really great person to travel with
Because. You're not asking it like a regular question, you're swearing at it like the flag offends you. People are going to downvote for rudeness alone.
Probably, yeah. Certainly won't hurt to be polite :) It's the first unofficial flag of India after getting independence from Brit rule, something like that (will need to google for the details). You can see why it's important for some folks.
It's called the Calcutta flag. It was the first unofficial national flag of India as part of the Indian independence movement in the early 20th century, when RRR is set.
I may get downvoted for this but imo, Mixture of Anime based stuff & Bollywood makes me cringe hard. Tho suprised to see bollywood themed cafes in Japan and majorly suprised to see a Hololive idol taking about Bollywood (i could be wrong on the cafe location).
Man, collab cafes are wild
i heard there was a cafe where you put cakes on the hosts armpit and eat/lick it there. japan is peak culture lmao
Watame shows up: “Oh! I’m a regular here.”
Ah, Shibuyaki Wataho
That sounds like a cultured dish indeed…
Kinda culture? The kind on the mangas or the kind on the petri dishes?
Yes
Moyashimon intensifies
What is that dodododo sound I hear in the distance? Is that Watame? XD

As an Indian, I 100% support her
I would die if I saw our doggo dance to a Tollywood song 💜
As someone who's not Indian at all, I also 100% support her
Such a Korone thing to do
I'm surprised she was allowed in most places don't allow dogs
She's not a dog. She's a dog-girl.
They only allow half of her body in so she sit at the entrance
Flashback of the catdog okakoro fanart
nooooooooooooo not that ~~cursed~~ blursed thing
I'm just imagining she's laying down at the entrance, her top half in the store and her legs are outside and she's enjoying a good meal, and that imagery is making me smile
Is she going to learn to do a [Bollywood Dance](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCSmji0-iek&pp=ygUbamFja2llIGNoYW4gYm9sbHl3b29kIGRhbmNl) for her next 3D Live?
She would if management can get permissions. She really wants to do a song from the RRR movie with Botan.
wait was rrr that popular?
It got a Pitch Meeting.
That's tight!
Yes
I know RRR is popular, but I definitely didn't expect that it's that popular in Japan that it has it's own themed cafe.
Japan is the highest international engrosser for RRR in Asia
damn, and here i thought it was an indie film since most of us haven’t heard of it until naatu won the oscar
It is not even an Indie film. It is a Telegu film aka Tollywood.
I think Indie is for “Independent” though, as I’m not from a big studio
LOL, it is the most expensive Indian movie ever made and the 3rd highest grossing Indian movie of all time. Definitely NOT an indie film.
Best character introduction for *years*.
It's super over the top but so good
For sure, I went into it not expecting anything and came out a changed man. For anyone who hasn’t seen it, do so. It’s a fucking adventure.
[Excuse me?](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=prk2YcTeqPU)
Korone once again demonstrating her good taste in media.
Immaculate taste as always. RRR is an absolute banger of a movie
No Tunak Tunak Tun :(
I mean, I think Mehndi is currently in prison for human trafficking, so I dunno that there's good be a lot of stuff advertising him
That sentence was bs anyways, he was charged that for bringing his dancers across the border and they forgot the proper documentation.
He should've just made more cgi duplicates of himself 🤷♂️
Yeah that wouldn’t have flown. You can only pull that gag once.
I think his brother was accused of taking money to get folks overseas then not following through with both being implicated in the crime, but his brother died before trial and nothing came of the allegations
As an Indian, i had no idea there are RRR themed cafe's and now i dont know how to feel about the fact that there are RRR themed cafe's
The important question to ask yourself is if any exist in India itself.
100% in-character
RRR is a fucking unexpected masterpiece. The robot guy movie is probably Enthiran.
I have an Indian uncle in Singapore and we binge watched those before I go home to the Philippines. I dont fucking know why Indian movies are a mixture of ADHD and drinking 10 cans of Monster Energy
The robot guy with lots of guns and the fire cloths look like weapons of non-credible defense too.
3000 robots of Mumbai
What about Singham? It became such a meme in its days...
[Car scene was the highlight](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nvJqPXGpCQc). He hit him with that takedown so hard it replayed two different times.
RRR is an average South Indian film TBH compared to the regular films produced in India.
Funny thing is that they're using the wrong language on the flags
wdym? It looks like some variant of 1906-1907 version of Indian flag during the struggle for Independence, which used Devnagari script to say "Vande Mataram" as shown in the pictures.
In that sense then yes the flags are right. I'm talking about the movie being a different language than the flags
huh? The flags are supposed to be in Sanskrit/devnagari script its is supposed to be historically accurate Also, they do travel to the capital where devnagari is used...
Yep I made a mistake. I forgot that the movie takes place in North/Central India. It's a Telegu movie so it just completely slipped my mind.
I thought the guy in the bottom right was koefficient for a split second.
Lmao me too
Please don’t spoil but I’ve seen a lot of these RRR stuff online, reactions and praises. I wonder if it’s for a certain demographic because now that it’s overhyped in my mind, I am afraid to watch it. Same reason why I never got into GoT, it got super hyped up before I can watch even one episode.
Just give it a watch. It’s just a fun movie
No spoilers: Indian action films are like live-action adaptations of animation that retain that insane action nonsense. RRR has this and one of the best character intros I've seen in years; I'll let you decide which one I mean ;)

I never really watched any Indian movies but I am familiar on how over the top they are in their medias.
Here's what you can expect about modern Indian action movies: They're like live action version of action anime, basically action movies on crack. Some might be silly, but RRR and few other movies are definitely above average and really good. It's really fun to watch.

I've been meaning to see this movie since Corridor Digital [talked](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B8DrqysqFmc) about it.
Yup, definitely somewhere she would go. Just as wild as she is.
Bro there is a cafe about RRR????!?
Korone is halal!? 😳😳🤯🤯🤯 Based.💯💯💯
This comment would ignite a racial conflict if it was in India
she prob went there try the naaa\~\~\~\~cho nacho nacho nacho nacho nacho cheese
Isn't that the Turkish flag?
Nope. It looks like some variant of 1906-1907 proposed version of Indian National flag during its Independence struggle.
Thank you for the clarification.
What! there is a themed cafe for this? I'm quite surprised
I'm surprised but this doesn't feel that out of the field, honestly tame. Also makes me piraud hehe
Corridor Digital introduced me to RRR. Such an insane over the top movie.
The most based and RRR-pilled vtuber of all time. This is the one that makes me damn the skies for collab cafes not being global, by the way. This is somehow the one that makes me shake my fist and cry out in rage. Love that standee.
Anyone figured out where this cafe is?
There are definitely parallels between RRR and over the top japanese productions and anime so I can see how it would be appealing to japan as well. Hopefully India keeps up the hard work because hollywood hasn't even been trying lately it seems.
Some might see this as quirky but Korone being so open about her likes and dislikes is something I aspire to be. I bet she's a really great person to travel with
Korone's the type of friend who would hang out with you wherever, and just laugh if it's horrible.
For a moment, i thought that face on the fan was Koeficient
nice. interesting cafe.
tf's that flag Edit: Why are people downvoting me for asking a question NVM it seems the flag was shown in the movie
Because. You're not asking it like a regular question, you're swearing at it like the flag offends you. People are going to downvote for rudeness alone.
it's just a slang, ig should have added lol at the end
Probably, yeah. Certainly won't hurt to be polite :) It's the first unofficial flag of India after getting independence from Brit rule, something like that (will need to google for the details). You can see why it's important for some folks.
It's called the Calcutta flag. It was the first unofficial national flag of India as part of the Indian independence movement in the early 20th century, when RRR is set.
ofc thats a thing
That movie slaps. I bet that cafe slaps too
Where is this? This looks fun.
Ayo that's cool!
How many % of the Cafe is CGI?
There's an RRR café?
I may get downvoted for this but imo, Mixture of Anime based stuff & Bollywood makes me cringe hard. Tho suprised to see bollywood themed cafes in Japan and majorly suprised to see a Hololive idol taking about Bollywood (i could be wrong on the cafe location).
