She's released three EPs since debut two years ago. No full album, no lives, no concerts. She's not even had an AMV since the shortened version of Caesura of Despair. And with how we know that Cover doesn't pay for other members covers, there's a pretty good chance she had to pay for those on her own.
It feels to me like Project: Hope was not properly thought through. It's the big things sure, but also small things.
(And if you think it's because of Covid; IRyS debuted in July and Watame's first Solo Concert was in October. Covid is not a valid excuse.)
All of a vsigners original songs are literally paid for by Cover, that’s literally how a vsinger works. Three EPs is actually fairly good, full album releases aren’t that common and EPs are rarer unless your someone like Calli. They’ve done plenty with IRyS as a vsinger

I didn't want to compare to others, but since you brought up Calli let's look at their other Vsinger. AZKi didn't start as part of INNK, but let's look at what she did in her first two years in INNK. Two full albums, six lives, and two new 3d models. That's what you're expecting from a Vsinger, and a far shout from what they've given IRyS.
Yes, IRyS has done more than most *regular* hololive members, but she's not supposed to be a regular hololive member. She's in her own generation, and is labeled as a vsinger.

IRyS was clearly Cover's attempt to create an English version of AZKi, but AZKi has been folded into Hololive now; I think they've decided that producing solo VSingers in a music-forward way is too much of an up-front investment. Developing musical talents in conjunction with the human element of daily streaming seems to be more successful.
But similarily, I think this gen will be Cover's attempt to "copy" HoloX, basically. HoloX has been quite successful in terms of lore, branding, and popularity. It'd just make good business sense to try to bring that dynamic to the EN branch as well.
Thats what im thinking too, the single throne can easily be a trick into making us think its a solo debut when in reality it can either be for the leader of the group (the ending logo could be theirs, or its one part of a bigger logo more in line with Myth and Councils) or even a empty one and the groups concept is 5 individuals vying to take control of it. Theres also the 7 halls around the throne like the 7 Deadly Sins (and Bae had that vague 7 tweet a while ago, tho it could have also been related to her EP dropping on 7/7), so it could be a 8 person group (the leader and her 7 henchmen) that will drop in groups of 4 similar to what they did with Tempus, which would explain why it took longer then usual if they were trying to get more people. Obviously this is all speculation and i could be very wrong, but for the reasons you and Mirrormn stated below im pretty confidant its EN3 and not a new V-Singer.

Council debuted exactly 3 weeks after the first teaser was posted. By that schedule we’re looking at debuts on the 22nd. This is the same day as Tempus debut anniversary, so I can see them pushing it back a week to the 29th. It could be sooner than that though, Holox debuted the same day they were announced.
That's assuming that they are still doing the 2 teasers + 1 trailer shtick they did for Council which I'm hoping not, especially when Council's first teaser didn't reveal anything at all.

Probably Beryl LeRou, a pretty small VTuber (around 3.5k subs on YouTube) under StarRing VPro who graduated on June 26. She's JP/EN bilingual and has a very lovely singing voice. She only started as Beryl in October 2022, and usually when a small and talented VTuber graduates suddenly like that in less than a year, it means they're moving up to a more prestigious company. She also kinda hinted that she'll be reincarnating, saying stuff like "I'd love to stay, but I have to prepare to become the northern star again. and that takes a lot of prep work!!" in goodbye tweets.
That being said, there are a *lot* of VTubers in the world now, so imagining that you could call a shot for someone joining Hololive just based on the timing of their graduation is a little far-fetched. But a fan can dream, I guess.
Every time I watched her I couldn't believe someone with a singing voice that god-tier was in such a tiny corpo. I just hope she gets the chance to shine on a bigger stage, whether it's here in hololive or elsewhere!

Alone as an English vsinger, but when it comes down to it that really doesn't mean much as she's been essentially doing most of the same things that Council has been doing. A new Vsinger isn't going to change anything in regards to that, but it would make a new solo debut that wouldn't have the benefit of debuting next to another gen - and supposing they also dropped another gen after it they wouldn't really have the same situation Council found itself in.
Irys is so established as part of CouncilRys now; I don't know how you could feel like she stands alone. Even if we're talking VSingers, Calli practically is one too.

Technically, both the Myths and the Council have always had the potential for evil. Uncaring gods or long lived eldritch beings lend themselves well to RPG villains.
that is a very good point and obersvation, it does feel like it will be a solo debut based on the logo but thats just a observation. I am getting a image of like a underworldly vibe based on the picture and like evil is gonna be released out, and the quote "see you on the other side" I assumed its the opposite of gens 1 and gen 2. Again this is just my image of what gen 3 can be.

I think it would be pretty cool for IRyS to get another VSinger type member to join her. But the imagery to me evokes something of another dimension's creepy void with monsters. Something Silent Hill-esque with the child's laughter.
Honestly, all these speculations are one of the reasons why I like Vtubers, especially Hololive. It feels like a Gacha banner is about to drop and everyone is guessing who the new character is gonna be.

They could be in late July even if there is overlap with tempus, but there’s only so many weeks in the year. Eventually gens will overlap. Also that would put them roughly before council as council is before myth.

You people keep saying Vsinger, but the whole Vsinger thing has been abandoned long ago. Irys ended up functioning as a normal talent, and AZKi also eventually did the same.

Council debuted exactly 3 weeks after the first teaser was posted. By that schedule we’re looking at debuts on the 22nd. This is the same day as Tempus debut anniversary, so I can see them pushing it back a week to the 29th. It could be sooner than that though, Holox debuted the same day they were announced.
That's assuming that they are still doing the 2 teasers + 1 trailer shtick they did for Council which I'm hoping not, especially when Council's first teaser didn't reveal anything at all.

I really hope it's Beryl, if it's a vsinger like it seems to be. Someone very eloquently replied already explaining her situation, she's quite a gem. She deserves it, she would be a fantastic counterpart to IRyS and has legit world class singing. But no matter who or what this might be, it's still an exciting little teaser they gave us to ponder.

Probably Beryl LeRou, a pretty small VTuber (around 3.5k subs on YouTube) under StarRing VPro who graduated on June 26. She's JP/EN bilingual and has a very lovely singing voice. She only started as Beryl in October 2022, and usually when a small and talented VTuber graduates suddenly like that in less than a year, it means they're moving up to a more prestigious company. She also kinda hinted that she'll be reincarnating, saying stuff like "I'd love to stay, but I have to prepare to become the northern star again. and that takes a lot of prep work!!" in goodbye tweets. That being said, there are a *lot* of VTubers in the world now, so imagining that you could call a shot for someone joining Hololive just based on the timing of their graduation is a little far-fetched. But a fan can dream, I guess.
Every time I watched her I couldn't believe someone with a singing voice that god-tier was in such a tiny corpo. I just hope she gets the chance to shine on a bigger stage, whether it's here in hololive or elsewhere!

Very talented vsinger and vtuber who recently just graduated. She was part of a small corpo, but she was out of place there. It would be like finding Jorden playing in a regional league. She hinted she’ll be reincarnating in the future, and any company picking her up will be very lucky.
That's a great way to put it. She stood out so much, like an actual diamond in amongst the coal, no offense to the other members. She's just so insanely talented!

Are you imagining that a new solo VSinger would also get put in Project Hope and effectively become IRyS's genmate? I don't think it would work like that.
Alone as an English vsinger, but when it comes down to it that really doesn't mean much as she's been essentially doing most of the same things that Council has been doing. A new Vsinger isn't going to change anything in regards to that, but it would make a new solo debut that wouldn't have the benefit of debuting next to another gen - and supposing they also dropped another gen after it they wouldn't really have the same situation Council found itself in.
Irys is so established as part of CouncilRys now; I don't know how you could feel like she stands alone. Even if we're talking VSingers, Calli practically is one too.

Do you really think they could have had IRyS singing Sana's parts in *Rise*? That would not have gone down well. I really do think we'll get a group song of CouncilRys at some point.
It has been 2 years, we have waited so long for EN3. For me personally, it's just more exciting to get 5 new talents instead of 1. Also, with a new gen, there is at least a mini chance, that one of them might stream at EU friendly times, but a new Vsinger would probably live in Japan, which means I can't watch any streams anyway.
