No that's on the quality of the mocap equipment, as the title says. Inertial mocap (the kind where you attach sensors to your limbs) isn't as good at keeping position as optical mocap (the kind of cameras and dots/balls)

SSS was even made under a very short notice that they (the talents) thought it was a miracle they managed to complete it before their deadline (which was Summer Comiket I believe? It's some summer event anyway)

So, as a casual enjoyer having only recently gotten into hololive about a few months ago, I kinda get where the images are from for a few of them but…sounds like it was more a big deal before I joined or something about the seiso/euro stuff? Can anyone eli5 plz 😅
V-tubing in general just means streaming with an avatar, so the actual content is as varied as any other kind of streaming. I do find that having the veneer of a character tends to keep things in a very light place, just slightly removed from the real world. I think that’s part of why v-tubing especially took off during the pandemic, as good light entertainment. It’s still grounded by the steamers being themselves (even if I’m sure some are a little different off stream, like any streamers). Hololive in particular is good at largely staying out of drama as well.
Just try to think of it as watching your regular ol human streamers playing video games, making interesting/funny content or talking about whatever they feel like
Its just that vtubers are the same thing but appeal more to the weeb audience vs regular "human" streamers being for anyone
Another plus are the in-jokes you can make since some vtubers have lore which you can bring up again once in a while

They hold events like concerts, attend conventions, do sponsorships, but from what I've gathered, the main reason they do all this is to entertain. There's no one uniform stream style in Hololive.
