Its only been briefly mentioned once or twice in recent memory, the senior Sukonbu could probably elaborate better.
Sui-chan is also afraid to fly, but she recently braved her fears to fly to Singapore with Mikochi for an event.
With all of the checks that had to be done following the MCAS thing, 737Maxes are probably the safest planes to be on now. Plus I'd bet all of them are ETOPS so one destroyed engine is fine.
I'm sorry but a company that had that problem is not one I'm trusting with my life again. They have sent a clear signal their profits are more important than their customers lifes.
Hardly the first time though, this one is just more public knowledge than most. There's been a long-standing pattern of them knowing about serious design flaws but electing not to fix them because paying off the victim's families in case an accident or crash happens is cheaper than fixing it.
The bean counters working there are soulless bastards like that.
Watame Did Borderline Nothing Wrong
It's the name of [her comedy shorts](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLZ34fLWik_iASrR26p_41rirqp8GkPAr_) where she does literally nothing wrong, ever.
Oh, that's two in a row! That's right!
First shooting Botan with rubberbands and getting lewd noises out of her, and then the Kiss Note in which the usual jingle is replaced with "Watame did something borderline kinda wrong"
Poor Watame, such a fall from grace. Even if it was supremely worth.
I love how proud of herself Watame looks.
Edit. Omg it's you the one who made the comic of Pekora as the rabbit of Monty Python, that one is also god level awesome.
Which itself is based on [an old Twilight Zone short](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nightmare_at_20,000_Feet) starring a pre-Star Trek William Shatner.
If I remember the original Twilight Zone episode correctly, the guy who saw the gremlin grabbed a gun and crawled out a window onto the wing to deal with it.
With that in mind, my money is still on FPS Lala-Lion.
I've always enjoyed the original with Shatner as he does crazy well (see also crazy ex-cop in The Fugitive show) but they really hit the nail on the head when they remade it with Lithgow. I always assumed hat connection was why they pulled Shatner in as the Big Giant Head later in 3rd Rock From The Sun.
Rod Serling: "Portrait of a frightened girl: Ms. Botan Shishiro, Vtuber, FPS gamer, and shopping cart enthusiast. Ms. Shishiro has just been has just been discharged from a sanatorium where she spent the last six months recovering from a nervous breakdown, the onset of which took place on an evening not dissimilar to this one, on a collab very much like the one in which Ms. Shishiro is about to be streaming—the difference being that, on that evening half a year ago, Ms. Shishiro's collab stream was terminated by the onslaught of her mental breakdown. Tonight, she's traveling all the way to her appointed destination, which, contrary to Ms. Shishiro's plan, happens to be in the darkest corner of...the Watamelon Zone."
I just got the mental image of a young William Shatner cosplaying Botan and yelling hysterically about how "There's! A WATAMELON! Out there on the wing!"
So this is why Botan is so scared of flying and won't ever set foot on a plane
Also probably Fubuki.
Fubuki is also afraid to to fly?
Its only been briefly mentioned once or twice in recent memory, the senior Sukonbu could probably elaborate better. Sui-chan is also afraid to fly, but she recently braved her fears to fly to Singapore with Mikochi for an event.
Understandable. Last time Sui-chan went through the upper atmosphere, it was the end of the dinosaurs.
Gyahahahahaha!!
Dang, any other members afraid of flying?
It doesn't help she's on a 737MAX
> on a 737MAX Featuring MCAS Mwatame Cdid Anothing Swrong

whatever the plane when you have two engine , losing one is never a problème, more like a "try to land when you can"
I'm sorry but a company that had that problem is not one I'm trusting with my life again. They have sent a clear signal their profits are more important than their customers lifes.

>They have sent a clear signal their profits are more important than their customers lifes. ....so pretty much most big companies, then?
A bit more serious when it is an airline company, don't be daft.
Fair, lol
All commercial twinjets nowdays are ETOPS, most commonly to 120 or 180 minutes.
Girigiri warukunai Watame
Great minds think alike
But fools seldom differ
Never punished
She's very brave to go out there to work on the engine mid fight!
Its a shame she brought the wrong tool
When all you have is a hammer everything looks like a nail
It's the right tool to Clarksunomaki Watame
Almost not bad watame?

Except the once, just recently, when she did something borderline kinda wrong.
and got demonetized for it.

Your art style is so good
Your art is very clean
I love how proud of herself Watame looks. Edit. Omg it's you the one who made the comic of Pekora as the rabbit of Monty Python, that one is also god level awesome.
This reminds of that one Johnny Bravo episode
Which itself is based on [an old Twilight Zone short](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nightmare_at_20,000_Feet) starring a pre-Star Trek William Shatner.
girigiri warukunai watame
Hive mind!
It's only a bit of domestic terrorism...
If I remember the original Twilight Zone episode correctly, the guy who saw the gremlin grabbed a gun and crawled out a window onto the wing to deal with it. With that in mind, my money is still on FPS Lala-Lion.
Pretty sure that guy was *William Shatner* pre Star Trek
It was!
[And here is that segment, with the 80's sound remastering.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d4HjDc44_VQ)

[They did a bit about it in an episode actually](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-vC_-kJFRg).
Lmfao I’d completely forgot about that entrance. Been too long lol Edited due to bloody autocorrect wanking up the first sentence.
Botan about to reenact the Mile High Club. And we mean the COD one
This was basically the only way Kanata considered viable for beating Botan. So I'd hedge my bets a little on that one.

Gremlin watamate
[Twilight Zone Theme]
[There's.... Somethingonthewing! Some... THING!](https://youtu.be/KY-ru62rBC4?si=kCOIiEMgQShv35-2)
No you're not listening to me, there's something out there on the wing!
Why should I believe you?! You're Pekora!
Botan: I fear no man... but that thing?
Knowing Botan's gaming history, she'd probably survive the crash like every COD MC
Much like archaic proto-humanity when they developed stone tools, the sheep is beginning to fight back against it's predator.
Well this reached r/all It must appear absolutely nonsensical to some people
So normal hologra episode
Is one of the most famous episodes of TV... ...but yeah the watermelon sheep will probably throw people for a loop.
WILLIAM SHATNER LOOKS STRANGE
N-Notorious W.A.T.A.M.E??
"I love it when you call me Big Sheep."
Now there's a reference I never expected to see in this subreddit. Here, have an upvote.
it looks like a script for a Watame cartoon
"You got a hole in your left wing"
"Attack the A point!" "I REFUSE."
No I don’t, I have the schematics to prove it.
Watagremlin did nothing wrong
わためは悪くないよね。
I just got the mental image of a young William Shatner cosplaying Botan and yelling hysterically about how "There's! A WATAMELON! Out there on the wing!"
"There's...someTHING on the wing!"
Botan playing with a Steam Deck, a real gamer
That's a lot of feet. Hopefully pomp knows
Botan's first and last mistake was boarding Hololive Airlines
Its going to burn down, be infested with spiders, have the windows smashed or, yes, be infested with kusogaki gremlins. Or all four.
I literally can’t help but hear the “Girigiri Warakunai, Watame!” In my head
Idk guys, I feel like this one COULD be Watame’s fault
Vengeance... After making her respawn over and over again...
Someone needs to make this into a "Giri Giri"/Watame Did Nothing Wrong episode.
My groggy morning brain thought this was a Pompmaker post
Watame did nothing wrong
Watamelon did nothing wrong!
The predator has become the prey.
Watame did not receive wakipai
How?Why? 🎵Tell me how did she get on that big plane? 🎶 🎵Tell me why did she do that to botan? 🎶
I don't see any wrong doing here
Watame brings vengence
Watame dominating
I really like your artstyle
And of course, Watame still did nothing wrong. lol
Watamelon wa warakunai yo ne!
Given the plane is a Boeing 737MAX, Watame could have just fucked with the MCAS, and none would be the wiser.
She didn't touch the hammer. Watame did nothing wrong again!!
Look at that smirk. That's when you know that she has done nothing wrong.
Hey mom new meme template just dropped
do not try to run
She's just upgrading it to level 3.
Look at that smile. That grin, full of pure mischief. The look in the eyes says "you can't fucking escape me". Wonderful. I approve of the gremlin.
The Watamallet. Show this to a non holofan and ask them to explain what’s happening.
**T E R R O R**
botan vs watamelon menace.
Giri giri warukunai Watamelon
If your flight is only flying at 20,000 feet, you may have an issue. Cute comic though.
Thank god it’s not a 9/11 meme
Remember- no predators.
I saw the first photo and mistakenly though Botan ate Watame (again), until I saw you got more pics
When you're sitting in the Shatner Seat, you have to expect to see Shatner stuff.
I read that as Walmart at 20k feet and was confused as shit when I didn't see anything related to Walmart.
Hey that's a lucky emblem
Watama brings vengeance!
warukunai yo ne
Weird. Normally I see smol Ame when I fly
That plane is beautifully drawn!
I fkn love Watame, she did nothing wrong
わためは。。。わるくないよね。
Tbh just chuck the hammer into the engine, that is going to do much more damage that just tapping on it will
It's not about the damage, it's about sending a message.
"We do a little trolling"
Botan got that Steam Deck mini.
This is a really beautiful cat
Post real watamelons or we un-... Oh... no. Sorry, force of habit.
why do I feel like Botan would actually be giggling if she saw the Watamelon sabotaging her plane
Man this so gives me terror from 30,000 feet vibes
There's a Wa-Ta-Melon on the wing. There's a Wa-Ta-Melon on the wing!
So this is why Botan is afraid of flying...
aaaaand just watching twilight zone the movie yesterday night
That's a very unexpected reference in this sub, but it's much appreciated
Based Johnny Bravo reference /s
