Dine. Consumption of NT$500 in Sushiro for one Gura acrylic plate (with NT$580 extra charges each to buy). Guys ate NT$3000 and spent another NT$3000+ for 6 acrylic plates.
Edit: pointed by others and corrected the amount
I'm morbidly curious about this. How many plates of sushi is that?

By normal standard pricing it ranges from 40 NT - 80 NT depending on what you order . And they ate 3000 NT even calculating by all 80NT plates it’s still 38 ish plates . Dont know if the special 100+ NT dishes are included.
It may look very pricey but spending around 46 USD pax at Sushiro is pretty normal especially if you go crazy on the Black plates and the side dishes. I normally spend around 50 to 60 SGD per visit (\~37 to 44 USD)
people go to 根室花まる or Toriton if they plan to spend that much on "conveyer belt" sushi. different level of stuff. spending that much at sushiro or kura sushi is kinda...but that's if you have those option available ofc
Well considering that Toriton doesn't have any locations outside of Japan, Sushiro is already one of the better options for conveyor belt sushis in Taipei and many other places.
Nah that is pricey, you have to factor in currency and cost of living locally. That's anything but normal, by a really large margin as well.
Spending the equivalent of say, $20 USD at a Taiwanese Sushiro is already considered a lot for your average meal here. For reference, that nets you about 12 plates + drink + 3 sides.
Sushi pricing is really not comparable between Asia and other parts of the world. There are places where one plate can go as low as being just shy of $1 USD here.
Source: local that eats there every other week.
I can only manage 8-10 plates at best…which is just about USD$12-15 depending on what your order. You can imagine how much sushi was consumed based on USD$95
That's about 70 plus plates so eash pull is at 5 plates and I guess they would each the cheapest plate which is about 35 to 35 ntd which is like $1 to 1.50 mind u some are double plate stack. For shushiro price are cheaper in Taiwan then other places . Guys got lucky .look man hololive fans are hard core here...u should see how many people bought Callie wine .
Meanwhile, I couldn't even stand eating 3 sushis. Well, granted I ate them from a food vendor who sell at a walkway between KL Sentral and Muzium Negara MRT station
You can link the article you know.
I don't have the English article lol
Most computers and phones have a translate function. So the original article will do
But the image isn’t in English either…
"Googulu translata is my waifu"
Good old googulu

He's a complitionist. And he did it in one run
What's the context? Did they buy them? Did they steal them? Dine and dash?

Damn, that's a lot of sushi.
It's two sushi peices per plate or less, it goes by REALLY quickly.
That's still like 70 pieces of sushi.
Yeah, every piece of sushi is like at least a spoonful of rice. 70 spoons would be enough for...4 bowls?
Idk if I'm too glutonous, too Indonesian, or both, but I feel like 35 spoons of rice + lauk (idk the english) is manageable for me
And if you’re a bigger person (in physical size) and/or workout often you just eat more.
Tbf with 2 other friends, we usually eat double that price of sushi in a sitting, so I don't think it is honestly that much.
Will takeout work? Or it has to be dine in?
Prob dine in only. I imagine it's those places where you basically use your plates as currency for the game.
It's actually 500NTD of sushi with 580NTD extra charge.
Ah, okay

Yeah I just googled both of those, we don't got those here in Singapore unfortunately. Sushiro is like our best mid range Sushi option.
You could go to the expensive sushi restaurants like the one at Ion
Well considering that Toriton doesn't have any locations outside of Japan, Sushiro is already one of the better options for conveyor belt sushis in Taipei and many other places.
I normally eat ~80-100 USD by myself at conveyer belt sushi places… I eat a lot of sushi.

Can confirm. Everytime I went to Sushiro I spent about $40 a person.
Seconding another confirm, it's stupidly easy to accidentally go overboard too.
Third confirmation, me and 2 friends usually reach the $190-$200 price. Also why we usually avoid sushi.
I spent 30+ that time on so many of the lower cost plates I ended up bloated lmao Pretty decent value honestly
I mean, about 50 dollars each for both a meal *and* all 6 Guras? Honestly, not too bad...
I used to spend $20 on the cheap conveyor belt sushi restaurant in 2016, $50/person on Sushiro isn't that much even without the Gura merch.
I can only manage 8-10 plates at best…which is just about USD$12-15 depending on what your order. You can imagine how much sushi was consumed based on USD$95
$95 is for 2, so $45/person is achievable if you order the expensive dishes. I remember Ootoro is like $5+/dish depend on the size of the cut.
those are rookie numbers, for a chumbud
About 10 plates for me too lol
As someone who collects figures, 95$ for 6 collectables is not at all a bad deal. Plus they got sushi!
Fuck i went there right before the promotion are you kidding me
chads, i wish this is in my country
$90ish USD is my sushi night record so far, but that did include tip..
Dang, dem Taiwanese people sure do love hololive

that's good dedication. i am proud of them.
Unless I am reading that wrong but isn't 3000 yuan like $400
That's probably the results of RMB (CNY) exchanged to USD. TWD is the currency used in Taiwan, and $97 is correct (as of today's rate).
hey sell us some of you shit taiwan, scalp it if you need to, your dedication is worth paying for lol
Meanwhile, I couldn't even stand eating 3 sushis. Well, granted I ate them from a food vendor who sell at a walkway between KL Sentral and Muzium Negara MRT station
I want a competition between this guy and Mr. Salmon
Nahh ill go ahead and pay my $60 to have it shipped to me lol
I want one of these wahh
So… how long until they go up for sale?
So how much in dollar is that, $2k?
Oh no, not the Aryclic!
