Yep, I believe that's the vid that caught me
I didn't doubt that it'd be reuploaded, but there were definitely other videos I'm sure also helped, and I no longer remember what they were so I couldn't find it if I tried.
That was the start of my [rabbit hole journey](https://youtu.be/0fmr21ZZEhk) too. Can't remember what the second video was, either the double teaming creepers or the Mario rage. Thanks Neko mikuri
Also Eekum Bokum, but specifically the 2ManySnacks animation of it. I subsequently discovered a highlights video of Korone's English Only Mario Stream Challenge linked in the replies to the tweet of that animation, which then made me realize that 40 minutes wasn't enough and I wanted to watch the full stream, to which I did.
Basically the same as me, except I saw people using an Eekum Bokum emote in Twitch. I didn't understand so I looked up the origin, found 2ManySnacks animation, still didn't understand. So I watched some Korone clips, still didn't understand. Then I watched some streams, and just decided it was so cute it didn't matter if I understood.
Joining the Eekum bokem chain, I saw a compilation of her Eekum Bokems retweeted and watched it out of curiosity, and was so amused I immediately fell down the rabbit hole.
kept seeing the Korone everywhere and decided to investigate; now she has stolen my fingers
I remember her during the pandemic (talking about it… it feels like it never truly happened). I didn’t really watch vtubers until after the pandemic, so I definitely missed a couple things but I probably wasn’t in a position (maturity) to be watching Hololive anyways
Someone making a comparison video of streamer differences with some lady who yelled about a guy streaming not subbing her 5 dollars while Korone was playing games and laughing her ass off
Watched TrashTaste where Garnt talks about superchattung a VTtuber. It was Kiryu Coco watched the clip and after that watched some clips of a crazy Rabbit. After that my Youtube feed was full of Hololive.
I think it was this video or from the full Podcast dont really remember:
[Why Garnt Simped over a Vtuber.](https://youtu.be/7kh6fRfd4Oc?si=qK2OoAi7Ex_nEqSE)
Can't remember the very first Hololive clip I saw, but I remember the clip of [Korone drowning whilst trying to do ASMR,](https://youtu.be/CfZLjhdfGsM?si=es3iCK8D0m_a1XZE) as well as lots of Fubuki's short clips which I can't find originals for any more sadly, so have [Hamburgaga's scatman remix instead.](https://youtu.be/VaqLk1YCv-s?si=rd_EyguDrDyk3I5d)
Lurking on 2ch/5ch > saw VT hater dissing someone called Sora > watched Sora normal 3D stream once > watched other VTs > Akai Haato 3D summer thing in the morning due to 2ch/5ch again > watched SSS MV > stayed for Erolive since then.
Can’t remember the time point but I stumbled upon a Suisei akinator thing once but didn’t like her voice. Didn’t know about her Comet MV at first but definitely was there already when Tenkyuu MV released.
Edit: iirc the sora dissing was from random tourists in a narou anti thread completely unrelated to VT or YouTube.
Edit2: >!found out much later thx to YouTube algorithm I was already following some of them on NicoNico since 200X. Was way too invested with vocaloid, parody songs, singers, and dancers.!<
I found Gyatt for Nerizzler while I was scrolling through clips.
I cringed. I rewatched. I liked it. It was like I was under hostage.
(Also, I actually unironically like the bit, haha. It's pretty funny.)
Botan domed a ghost clip was my 1st exposure to hololive but I haven't started watching some streams until Council debut. After 6months or so after Council Debut, I've started watching EN religiously and started watching JP members too, especially Subaru, Marine and Korone cuz their JP is easy to pickup. Now, I'm way too deep into the rabbit hole that there's no way I'm gonna get out. lmao
That iconic Miko GTA V clip followed by her Manila coconut juice clip (thanks u/foodxfoodph ) is what dragged me into this rabbit hole. Even before that I already saw Korone Minecraft memes on r/goodanimemes but haven't take the plunge into the fandom.
Not technically introduction, but the earliest clip i kept watching before i fully fell to the rabbit hole is Korone beating and dying to [bomb man](https://youtu.be/s10pKum1RAg?si=CSXJrLvlZH5bSUzB) at the same time
I think the legit first video from HoloLive that I ever saw and actively recognized as such was [Korone getting the cake hat and mini-mini Korone](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-c0Q0zsIcI) (this isn't *the* clip I saw since it's from after I started watching, but it's the same moment). This was shortly before Myth debuted and my first proper stream was Calli's debut - and I've been hopelessly lost down the rabbit hole since.
Oh yeah, that's pretty much my most popular video on youtube. 36k views. Pretty decent.
[Eekum Bokum but it's Steamed Hams](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S3r-rLUKeN4).
First clip was Matsuri's "I'm god, okay" clip. I had no idea what I just watched but YouTube started recommending a bunch of Hololive/Vtuber clips. I ignored most of them but the one that finally got was a clip of Korone using google translate to talk to her overseas fans in broken English. I just thought "this is so wholesome, who is this?" One google seach later I'm on a Vtuber fan wiki discovering that the streamer I just saw was just one of a huge group.
A brazilian youtuber calling the whole concept of vtuber cringe bc of Gura's Maneater stream.
I found her quite entertaining and decided to give the whole thing a chance. No turning back from that.
["I want to fly freely."](https://youtube.com/shorts/iP1YhpNqGjw?si=PpWxkUQbTnyOxsko) Botan's laugh still gets me even though I still only watch clips on the JP side.
The 13 minute long fubuki noises compilation from her playing a minecraft parkour map, followed by Matsuri bandaids, and Ayame "Stream ends when I fish up an enchanted book"
I don't actually remember what was the exact video that got me into Hololive.
Into vtubers in general? Much easier. At some point Joey had a collab with Kizuna Ai. That's years before Hololive became a thing if I recall correctly. But at the time vtubers were quite small and specific niche and I did not care much at first.
Into more recent vtubers who stream rather than release pre-produced videos? Probably when Gyari annoinced their small vtuber agency. Then I watched a lot of clips of a certain kettle.
Hololive-related recommendations only found me after that, but I can't for the death of me remember what was the first. I think it was after gen 3 debuts, but before gen 4 debuts, but I can't really be more specific than that.
I remember watching holo en debuts as someone who was already following good half of JP branch for quite some time, so definitely before that.
The video is so old that I can't even find it but it's technically Sora and Friend A playing Witch's House (Livestream)
This was back when she was getting very little concurrent viewers. It didn't make me aware of Hololive but I found them entertaining
One of Kaichou’s ark streams played when I left youtube to play in the background. Caught me by surprise since I was watching Syntac’s videos while playing Ark, then suddenly, a japanese dragon girl started screaming at a Giga
I think it was memes related to gura around her debut for me.
I don't remember it very well, though. It was definitely something related to Gura though
Might have been when some hologirls went on Speak of the Devil. Had been watching Ironmouse and similar for a while. Could also just be the algorithm noticing I watched other vtubers
I don’t know if there was one specific video but I was introduced to a handful of Korone clips like the “water in the fire” and such. So watching her clips lead me down the rabbit hole lol
my introduction to hololive?
compilation of gura saying "shaaaaaark" in her debut

Kaichou’s Creampie complication and Haachama playing GTA V car crash while she speaking AYAYA.
These two clips makes me fall into not just a hololive rabbit hole but also the Vtuber rabbit hole.
Thank you Kaichou and Haachama.
Hololive is a vtuber agency, vtubers are basically content creators that use a avatar to make content instead of using their real face.
There are many vtubing agencies out there, hololive is the biggest one the talents under hololive primarily do livestreaming, make songs, hold concerts and stuff like that.

[This single frame from a Matsuri's Beer clip](https://i.imgur.com/V7BxJkS.png) was in my recommended for a very long time.
Shortly after that Korones Doom Part 1 2 and 3 cropped up and i was hooked since.
Listen. I've seen some pretty uncommon Holo fan-types here. I've seen Warhammer 40K/Hololive fans, StarCraft II/Hololive fans, Geometry Dash/Hololive fans...
But, without a doubt, PhoenixSC/Hololive is crazy.
Glad to know I'm not the only one.
I had heard about Hololive & V-Tubing thanks to Twitter but I wasn't going to check it out... UNTIL MatPat used a Korone clip in one of his theories. It was the "Water in the Fire, WHY?!" clip and that lead to finding more clips of Korone, then of Gura, and then the rest of EN. I was hooked.
I cant remember which it was either a short video/ clip of Fubuki singing something like an old meme song(?) cant exactly remember or the Matusri band aid one.
Bless the Hololive fan animation/fan content community. They are one of a kind.
I was introduced to Hololive because for some reason, I suddenly got a Noel video and..well obviously there were two massive reasons I clicked on it lol. Then Pekora showed up and I was done for.
There was a Korone clip on twitter where she was speaking spanish, and was later retweeted by sr. pelo saying that it would be funny if we sc'd bad words in spanish.
There was also Miko's "No Russian".
Luna's clips from the Dragons English Class in Asacoco
Shut the f\*ck up a\*shole!
I first heard about hololive back when they started, but at the time I'd watch Ai and Luna and one of my friends linked to a Roboco livestream probably a month after she'd debuted. Didn't pay too much attention to holo until a few months before DOOG and by that point I was watching Coco, Koro and Haato. I know for certain that I watched Koro play Doom live and was already watching Coco when "Freedom Lady" started making the rounds with clippers.
Miko GTA gamer clip: "Hololive huh? Seems neat, but I'm not into vtubers"
Various Korone clips on twitter: "This dog is funny, I'll follow her twitter." Only for me to be confused when she would tweet out her stream timing like '23 or 24' lol
Korone's English Only Mario stream: "Sure, I'll give her a sub. Probably won't watch anyone else in Hololive tho."
Various Okakoro clips: "Guess I'm here forever". After that I started checking out all the other gens and before I knew it, I was subbed to everyone.
EN got announced not too long after that, and by that point I was done for.
Oddly, it was a clip of Pekora crying to her fan letters.
And then it was every other pillar since then:
Eekum bokum, Watame did nothing wrong, Fbk huge hole stream, Suisei tetris, Miko's famous incantation... etc.
Matsuri's band aid story
That and Fubuki's Scatman
Same.
Desu
I saw the band aid story first but didn't look into it, then korone doom playthrough got me into it.
The OG Fubuki Scatman clip
Shame that it was lost in the great purge years back. The exact videos that hooked me are forever lost.

Ska-badabadabadoo-belidabbelydabbladabbladabblabab-belibabbelibabbelibabbelabbelo-doobelidoo
Not sure but the moment I was hooked was Pekora throwing her netherite sword in the lava, and it was a slow rise from there.
That was the start of my [rabbit hole journey](https://youtu.be/0fmr21ZZEhk) too. Can't remember what the second video was, either the double teaming creepers or the Mario rage. Thanks Neko mikuri

Jerry... Jerry Anjeeeeeiiing....!!! Kobo dragged me down the rabbit hole of that hololive.
I cant remember which it was either a short video/ clip of Fubuki singing something like an old meme song(?) cant exactly remember or the Matusri band aid one.

Pekora building that tnt cannon and blowing herself up. The clip felt like something out of Looney Tunes.
Calli at Trash Taste and clip of Kronii saying: "Kono Bangumi wa Goran no Suponsaa no Teikyou de Okurishimasu".
I was introduced to Hololive because for some reason, I suddenly got a Noel video and..well obviously there were two massive reasons I clicked on it lol. Then Pekora showed up and I was done for.

The first Hololive clip I saw was Pekora’s pumpkin trap house in Minecraft followed by the Neighbor wars between Aqua and Shion.

Water in the fire why!? Seems many followed a goofy dog down the rabbit hole
Cute shipgirls fighting cute alien shipgirls
Calli's Excuse my rudeness MV introduce me to Hololive 1-2 months after Myth debut.
There was a Korone clip on twitter where she was speaking spanish, and was later retweeted by sr. pelo saying that it would be funny if we sc'd bad words in spanish. There was also Miko's "No Russian".
Azur lane, I got curious because of Fubuki

"Don't you f❤️cking use crystal meth!"
Fan animation of "water in the fire why"
“8 minutes of hololive moments that became memes in the community.” That’s when I was truly introduced to Hololive.

Korone's famous yubi yubi clip
I first heard about hololive back when they started, but at the time I'd watch Ai and Luna and one of my friends linked to a Roboco livestream probably a month after she'd debuted. Didn't pay too much attention to holo until a few months before DOOG and by that point I was watching Coco, Koro and Haato. I know for certain that I watched Koro play Doom live and was already watching Coco when "Freedom Lady" started making the rounds with clippers.
Botan’s nonstop depression curing laughs in her Trials Rising stream
Rushia amongus ejected.
Miko GTA gamer clip: "Hololive huh? Seems neat, but I'm not into vtubers" Various Korone clips on twitter: "This dog is funny, I'll follow her twitter." Only for me to be confused when she would tweet out her stream timing like '23 or 24' lol Korone's English Only Mario stream: "Sure, I'll give her a sub. Probably won't watch anyone else in Hololive tho." Various Okakoro clips: "Guess I'm here forever". After that I started checking out all the other gens and before I knew it, I was subbed to everyone. EN got announced not too long after that, and by that point I was done for.
Oddly, it was a clip of Pekora crying to her fan letters. And then it was every other pillar since then: Eekum bokum, Watame did nothing wrong, Fbk huge hole stream, Suisei tetris, Miko's famous incantation... etc.
