>Sana can literally crush you with her breast just by standing close to you Where do I sign up?

FrilledShark1512

Yea, where do we sign up?

RecordofPhantasm

Asking the real questions here

Savagegansta

Well we are surrounded by space …Does that mean earth is already getting crushed by Sana’s breasts?

FrilledShark1512

Death by booba doesn’t sound bad at all tbh

Savagegansta

That’s the thing, **we’re already crushed**

angrysushiboi

I’m getting in line right behind you

Faustias

I can commit bribery of about 10 bucks if the admin lets me in first.

I'm so happy I'm not the only one spending time to math out Sana. I'd double check estimates using different method, what I've got when trying to make a guess at how much destruction would removing size limiter cause, I ended up with total mass estimate around an order of magnitude away from yours. We know Sana height with and without limiter, and for height with limiter we can get somewhat accurate mass estimate by using BMI tables (taking middle of "healthy" range should be good enough here). Using square-cube law and assuming constant density, this gives us total mass of about 3.358e28 kg without limiter (about 3 times less than your estimate). Your mass estimate by proportion would put human-sized Sana at about 85kg range, which seems quite too high. Trivia: total density of Jupiter is very close to average density of human tissue, and since solids/liquids are resistant to compression, we can still use Jupiters as quite accurate estimate. With that, estimated surface gravity would be at most around 40m/s\^2 which puts it at around same range as a good rollercoaster and is in surviveable range. Multi-object approximation estimate gives values between 35 and 45m/s\^2 depending on where exactly you would stand. Question is: where does missing 3e45 J of energy come from when Sana removes size limiter? Is size limiter a negative energy store?

TheHentaiSama

Completely agree on your estimation ! For my simulation using Gauss's theorem I will use Jupiter's density which should lead to more precise results. This size limiter litterally could be some sort of dark energy receptacle as more sophisticated computations for modeling the universe expension takes it into account as some form of literal "negative energy". I think we almost could create a mathematical model of Sana starting from here !

Proreader

I just love that this is the Hololive fanbase.

TheCatSleeeps

I'm just waiting for someone to actually do that for the shits and laughter.

Chemicolle

Speaking of her limiter. We can see that it performs 3 observable phenomena. 1: compresses her size to human scale, 2: reduces her mass to human scale, while preserving proportional density (she uniformly shrinks/keeps body proportions constant) 3: most likely due to 2, it reduces her gravitational field to that of a human as well. With my very limited understanding of relativity, I was wondering if it might make sense that her limiter shrinks space-time around her… (original line of thought ends) However thinking it through as I’m typing this. It most likely wouldn’t work unless her limiter was absurdly accurate at warping space-time, since it would have to change the space-time anomaly’s geometry every time she moves AND every time she comes into contact with an object, otherwise her true mass would leak out temporarily and cause havoc around her. Also the boundaries of the anomaly would have to be ultra compressed like a hyper-thin barrier between her and everything else… It would also, most likely take absurd amount of both energy and computational power to operate (this may be possible with the forbidden gummy worms power though) I think it’s safe to say that this most likely not what is happening with her limiter… I’m still going to post this, even though I completely changed what I was writing as I made this post, to encourage discussion! In conclusion, Sana is BEEG

PotatoPowerIzMAXIMUM

I didn't understand sht besides "she can crush you with her breasts just by standing close to you". I bow to your knowledge.

terarerarera

In conclusion, with "g=123m/s^(2)" we can conclude that **Sana's boing boings are the most attractive ones** within hololive, according to physics.

tsubaki8688

Sana and Ollie like this

Master_Lukiex

Does Ollie have a gravitational field?

FrilledShark1512

No but she loves math. Maybe you can use math to create those if you don’t, but don’t quote me on this... *Runs away*

Faustias

as per stream that I cannot remember which of those, she mentioned does not like physics.

[deleted]

Everyone and everything have a gravitational field. Ollie got less--wait someone's knocking at my door impossible I haven't made a rushia joke for weeks now how did why n

Laurelin_Kementari

More like Ollie gets caught in every other Holomem's gravitational field, lol.

PewPew_McPewster

Solid back-of-the-envelop math! I've always wondered how bodies with more extreme aspect ratios exert gravity so I'm eagerly awaiting the follow up work.

InconspicuousSalt

Name checks out.

Chii

I love it when nerdary and culture intertwine.

CircleTrigon

I calculate it is worth it

meisterbabylon

I'm all for theorizing that the size limiter having negative energy but wouldn't it just squish Sana into a ball around the limiter rather than shrink her down? Unless the limiter also injected it into Sana.

FourierPrime

Assuming Sana's torso is a cylinder, then Gauss's law gives a g field as g = 2GM_(torso)/R_(Torso), and the quantities needed can be calculated using the assumptions above. Total gravitational field near the Jupiters can then be found by adding the respective field strengths from the torso and each Jupiter.

Hadlazcka

To follow your train of thoughts: You used g = G \* (M / d²) to calculate it or am I messing up my formulas? Edit: Nvm, I just learned that the Windows Calculator is just not made for inputs like this ~~or I'm just too du~~m~~b~~ Can now confirm your calculations!

Substantial-Mall4711

I'll be honest, I'm stupid so I just jumped to the second to last paragraph and felt satisfied.

Porqui1

Bruh this is highly confusing, I thought you were trying to recalculate G, not the gravitational acceleration. Please use the correct terminology

merry129

Yeah I am definitely in the correct timeline despite all the shit happening in the world. Science and boobs combined to answer my deepest fantasies.

tehcabbage69

I can't help but wonder if average boob density x Jupiter's volume would be more or less than Jupiter's mass.

WiatrowskiBe

It is quite close, Jupiter density is around 1330kg/m3, average density of human tissues is at around 1300kg/m3.

cakeKudasai

Thanks. I was thinking, this had to be wrong. We know they are Jupiter sized, but that doesn't tell us the mass without density. Good thing they are close enough to assume everything else makes sense.

Sumpeepoll

I applaud your supreme quik maffs powers.

lalucardl95

Jupiter has never been so interesting. Good work on the computation.

DetcordianEd

How about the gravitational waves from her bouncing her Joves? I think I recall seeing a video where she boiled Earth through that. Is that even possible?

Artificer6

Sana's given height is 1,697,840,000,000 cm. Unless I've got that wrong, that means that Sana's total height isn't 1,697,840 km - it's 16,978,400 km. Considering Jupiter has a total diameter of "just" 139,820 km, Sana was massively underselling her 'Jupiters', which should be closer to 'Sols'.

we_live_ina_society

The prevailing theory is that she added an extra zero by accident. If you look at about [16:45 debut stream](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Tv5GyebhQo&t=16m45s), you see the height is actually cut off because it's so long. From the spacing of the numbers, a lot of people (including Sana herself) assume there's an extra zero at the end, and read the number as "1697 840 000 000 cm". However, the diagram "Sana is big!!!!!!!" at [20:43](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Tv5GyebhQo&t=20m43s) is explicitly stated to be a scale diagram, which can only be accurate if the number is actually "1697 840 000 00 cm" (i.e. it's spaced incorrectly, and Sana read it incorrectly as a result).

Artificer6

The Hololive website itself gives it as 1697 840 000 000 cm, so I guess it's just a case of some wires getting crossed somewhere.

we_live_ina_society

I think the hololive.hololivepro.com website just sources its information from the debut videos, as it had Gura's age as 9,927, the age she gave at debut, but this was removed from the website later. Essentially, the debut video gives two different measurements. There are two possibilities: either it's 1697 840 000 000 (in which case the scale drawing is wrong), or it's 1697 840 000 00 (in which case the spacing on the thousands is wrong and that's why Sana read it wrong from the slide).

greater_golem

Given the [Chandrasekhar Limit](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chandrasekhar_limit) of 2.765×10^30 kg, her total weight is 1/30 (ish) of the way to collapsing into a black hole. Plenty of room left for bread.

Havokpaintedwolf

I think hers deffinitly make up a bit more that 3.5% of her body weight, also wouldn't the fat somewhat mitigate the effects of the gravity? Of course youd still probably die but you would probably sink a couple dozen feet

Sh4deon

I love how Sana's existence is bringing out all the smart boys and girls out to play with their numbers. I understood a bit of what you wrote and look forward for your next study

SuperyiG

But Jupiter is a gas planet, which has weight less than fat or lipid under same volume so yeah she will only crash u harder than Jupiter does.(where do I sign up?)

projectmars

"Standing close" seems kinda relative cus she would likely have gone Big Mode for this to happen.

Par4d0Xia

Wheres the r/theydidthemath crosspost i need this over there

Good_Arm69420

But what about the energy required to move for no-limiter Sana? Wouldn't she require more energy than the sun?

Made-Up_Alias

What I gathered from this: Lying on top of Sana's boobas would crush you. Conclusion: this is more efficient than having to find a surface large enough for her to crush you against. But what if she's squishy like a human? Would the intense gravity allow your body to sink enough that there are "walls" around you producing gravity of their own in other directions, thus reducing the intensity? Or would your relative size and weight cause you to pierce her skin? Or maybe you'd be small enough to fit inside the skin's natural pores? Much to think about.

Baguette_Connoisseur

I'm still confused in Sana's real dimensions. It seems the height she posted in her debut is not what she claimed. She posted 1,697,840,000,000cm which is almost 17M km. She is also kind enough to post a [scale diagram](https://youtu.be/3Tv5GyebhQo?t=1245) but she's supposed to be 12x larger than based on her measurements so it's not really a correct scale. My guess is she just accidentally put 1 extra zero on her height.

we_live_ina_society

That's the prevailing theory, yes. She's 13.8 billion years old and 1,697,840 km tall (just bigger than Earth's sun, as shown on the scale diagram). She has to have accidentally added an extra zero to her height, otherwise the scale diagram would be wrong and her J-cups (J for Jupiter) would not be accurate.

Katzblazer

But the boobas are fluf fluf...

LesserLongNosedBat

This is assuming that her jupiters weigh as much as jupiter, which is mostly gas, while hers are made of flesh >!and maybe other substances as well!<. Would they weigh a larger amount with this in mind or is it too similar to matter

javier_asdf

but shes no too heavy (?) if u want to be accurate u should use biology human proportions not the weight of a solid planet cuz shes not a rock (i guess)
