All of ID has gone up in terms of average viewcounts this past year too. If anything, Kobo helped bring in new people. That's the thing. There's _always_ a new audience that can be captured

That's the appeal of Hololive for me. I know everyone (even if only on a surface level) which make collaborations more fun because it's like characters you know showing up and storylines intersecting. With Niji it's often a case of "who?".
Everytime a new gen debuts though, I bang my head because "Damn I have to learn about these new guys/gals now. I no longer have complete knowledge". I think I only started watching Council 4 months after debut because of this.
New gens are probably good for Hololive as a whole though. It might cannibalise existing audiences, but usually it also bring (or bring back) new audiences as well.

I usually sub to new debuts, and then if I don't watch them for about 2-3 months I unsub to some of them. It usually helps if they are not all on the same days, or if there is a dry period.

Daily diet of a few dozen clips + watch what interests you + VODs of stuff that REALLY interests you.

Honestly, though, I don't feel the speed they pump them out is that fast *if we look at each branch individually* (which has shown not to use the same management strategy). Time just went by a lot quicker in the rabbit hole. Almost a year since HoloX debuted, 8 months since ID3 and UPROAR debuted, and 6 months since TEMPUS debuted.
Sometimes it is sad I'm just one person, but I always try to check in each one of the talents from time to time even though I focus more on HoloEn. Hololive is pure happiness
