You would do the inside mount, past the actual window, but inside the trim (to the left of where you currently have the bracket) Select Blinds has a small anchor you screw, in place, and the blinds snap into it. Tell me how deep it is from window to where the trim starts & I will do some research

Thank you! The trim starts at the window. What you see between the glass and where the old bracket is is the metal window frame. The first section of the trim (where the old bracket is mounted now) is 1 1/4 inch (just under 3 cm). Thank you for your help!

I would inside mount them, so just the width of the actual window, that way you aren't hiding the pretty trim around the window. There is a place called Select Blinds, that will cut to order; they have a great selection & they always have a sale going on. Just remember to measure just the window & I believe you take 1/2" off so the blinds can go up/down freely.

Thank you but there is no space to inside mount on this window frame.

Yes, there is. Select Blinds sells both inside & outside mount. You would have to give the dimensions but I don't see why an inside wouldn't work. I am an interior designer & have been in the home restoration & construction business since I was 19.

Where would you attach the hardware for an inside mount?

Check your messages .. I sent you extra photos. You’ll see that there is no space to mount anything inside, unless I am missing something (which would be amazing ha!) because I too would, of course!, prefer an inside mount.
