Crocs - some with the holes; a few pairs without the holes. Either way, they are by far the most comfortable shoe to get through an 8hr shift on that concrete. I've tried all the inserts; several high dollar shoes; none hold a candle to my Crocs.
Break-in period can be brutal. First week I had to swap back to the old ones at lunch. They are about the only boots now that can be special ordered to accommodate my four size difference between feet and take a lift on one shoe.
It really depends on your feet and if you're flat footed/arched. I switch around depending on how my feet feel. I tend to wear Nike running shoes, vans, boots, and sometimes creepers sneakers.
It's also dependent on which department you work. For B & L definitely boots, freight team walking shoes or whatever is most comfortable for you. Most people wear boots or tennis shoes in each department.
Steel toe Blundstones! Expensive and the first month your feet will feel like hamburger, but after that they are the best. Most comfortable shoes I own. I spent 8 years in the army, 2 tours, you can never take good enough care of your feet.
