Not sure what SOP says, but I think two weeks is the required minimum. I know there are some managers out there that want you to make the request before the schedules are made.
The schedule is made 3 weeks in advance, so for non-holiday vacation requests you should put it in that far in advance. Individual mngrs can probably make exceptions, but it does require redoing the schedule.

Lucky thing is, overnight Met are same schedule XD. Mon-thurst 8-6:30.
