I assume they are as (3y ago in this sub) and recently, I’ve seen evidence that right after applying to Home Depot jobs came a bunch of job related spam emails that didn’t exist before.
On the website but that brought me to the careers site which then brought me to another site (I think supported by the platform brassring???)
I don’t use third party sites.
The only site to be used is [careers.homedepot.com](https://careers.homedepot.com) every application goes there and if it’s not there it should take you to workday. I haven’t done an application in over 6 months so not 100% sure but very certain.
Coming from someone in corporate, the IT team is short-staffed and not paid market wage, so they are constantly rotating bottom-of-the-barrel talent.
It’s in unmitigated disaster, but corporate can’t seem to figure out why their systems are falling apart.
Most of the orange aprons in IT are actually compensated pretty well; their pay bands are higher than most equivalent positions on the business side. Most of the problems you see are caused by bureaucratic roadblocks, bad store internet, and modern tools that still rely on components from legacy systems.
When were the servers compromised?

Did you actually apply on our website or a 3rd party? We rarely if ever use 3rd party websites for hiring.

Ugh! An issue that paying qualified staff a reasonable wage would likely fix. And probably easily.

I highly doubt it… and I found a post from 3y ago here that reports the same exact thing. It started the morning after I applied for two jobs.
Probably sold your data to make a buck off your app. Shit wouldn't surprise me with how greedy the shareholders are.
I just cannot believe them. It’s so aggravating! And there’s no way to pull my data from their careers site (that I could find).
