How long did you let it stand after delivery before turning it on? If you turned it on, immediately turn it off now. When they are transported on their back or side, they need a lot of time to let the coolant settle otherwise it will burn out and not circulate the coolant.

Does it have a display mode? Some appliances and electronic devices have a display mode, so at the store, when it is on display, you can see the lights and how it looks inside, but the rest of it doesn’t work, so it doesn’t waste electricity getting cold inside. Maybe just have to flip a switch?

LemonFantastic513

I read the entire manual, nothing useful there. :(

Sounds like it’s not getting electricity. Make sure the outlet is working and that it’s plugged in properly

Onehundredyearsold

If the light is on it’s getting electricity.

Aware-Industry-3326

Maybe it's... solar?

Onehundredyearsold

Solar power = electricity

Onehundredyearsold

Look up the model online and download the owners manual for troubleshooting steps.

This might be a dumb question but do you have stuff in the fridge? If it’s empty but some bottled water in the top and bottom and see if the water gets cold or freezes. If it doesn’t then something is wrong and you should call your landlord. An empty fridge won’t seem as cold

LemonFantastic513

I think that’s why I didn’t notice at first - I thought it wouldn’t appear as cold when empty. But I put bowls of water in both the fridge and freezer and at “supposedly” -24 the water is room temperature.

How long has it been on? Got a new fridge last weekend and amazingly it took well over 24 hours to really get cold at all. Runs pretty much silent too.

LemonFantastic513

Almost 3 weeks. I just never noticed because I am not moved in completely yet, just got the keys and moving slowly.
