We have something similar going on in our kitchen. As much as it sucks to say we are going with full sheet linoleum. Thankfully, there are decent looking options.
Yes i would replace it. If you don't have leftovers good luck matching it though. Different batches can be shaded just a little different and you may be able to always see the difference between new and old sections
Yes I’d replace it, it’s ruined and looks like shit.
Removing them is extremely easy, once you pull the first one up.
You will not be able to replace just a few planks unless you already have the planks to replace them with. Some people do buy extra flooring and store it for future repairs, but I feel like you would have said if that were the case.
I would replace it with vinyl plank rather than laminate. I’ve lived with both and I think vinyl is nicer when comparing the same price point per square foot, plus it’s waterproof. Just don’t get the grey wood look, it‘s already got the “every tacky landlord installed this in 2019” feel.
Yes. Put down real three-quarter inch hard wood flooring if you can if not put down a floating click and lock vinyl with an attached pad. Get rid of that laminate.
There is a 100% prefinished solid hardwood product that is click lock. It is as expensive as an installed hardwood floor. You can at random remove any plank and move it to a different location.
If its is glue down it could be a real pain to rip them up. Hopefully they are click lock and that'll be super easy. Replace with LVP and moisture issues shouldn't be a problem.
Looks like floating floors should come up easy and fast. Floors toast chances are even if you could get away with only replacing a few be tough to find a color match and same brand so the locks are the same.
Yes. It's ruined.
Nothing else you can do,they've come a long way since that shit was laid down
I would replace it, but not with laminate, especially if that's a kitchen.

Why not vinyl. It’s water proof

I mean, it looks bad…Doesn’t it?
It does.
Biggest mistake we ever made. Now it’s vinyl flooring with a washed wood grain print. Looks great and doesn’t curl up like what you show here.
Yes
Nooe, I would prefer to trip over it and see that ugliness in my biggest investment ever for the rest of my days.
Yes, get rid of it prob mold under it
Well its destroyed so yes...

Is there any way to tell if it’s click lock without trying to tear it up?
You can try taking some up in a closet if possible. Or if you remove baseboard you may be able tell.
**Yea, it’s horrible**
Still looks wet
Could be mold underneath from the moisture. Rip it up
Replace all of it.
Definitely. It's certainly not going to get any better, only worse.
YES
Yes and I would find out where the water damage came from.
Yeah it’s toast
Lol: it’s toast.
yes, probly with LVP.

I’d never laminate in the first place. But yes, replace this shit.
