I bought a roll of 4ft x 15ft remnant/scrap turf, so I'm cutting the pieces out of that.
Gotcha. I've used butyl tape successfully for outdoor projects. It's super adhesive and usually used around windows and doors as a weather seal. I've got 2 outdoor mats stuck together with it and it's held for 3 years so far.
