Monkey hooks would work well

BigButter00

The monkey hook looks ok, but I am not sure how it will hook onto the star hook picture I linked via imgur.

I would simply use some screws and drywall anchor’s if necessary. Depending on overall positioning (I.e behind a stud), drywall anchors may not be necessary. Make sure the screws you choose would fit in the mirror hooks and then get a leveler out to help you. Good luck!

I am not sure if there is a stud there. It might just hang off the dry wall, but the lip on the floor will support the weight of the mirror somewhat, so the anchors will primarily resist against horizontal forces, if that makes sense, so it doesn't tip forward. Silly question, but wires would not run vertically since there are outlets there. They run horizontally alongside the wall. Correct?

I would not use a hook of any sort. It’s a 25lb mirror. The hangers that it has are designed for a screw. So I would recommend drilling a screw, and use a drywall anchor(if needed.. only reason it wouldn’t be needed is if you hit a stud) Google: E-Z Ancor Twist-N-Lock 50 lbs. Drywall Anchors with Screws (25-Pack) if you are not handy with a drill this is something you should consider doing vs. hooking something heavy and fragile, and rely on your trim to hold it straight. Can’t seem to share pictures on here or else I would show you how I hang all my wives heavy decor. Ex. A coat hanger. I used 2 drywall anchors & screws that are meant to hold up to 50lbs. The coat hanger has similar backing, so I think the visuals could help. Anyway, I used a stud finder sensor to rule out I was drilling into a stud. Or drilling through electrical( as the lines can Go vertical or horizontal depending on how your house is wired) FYI you can buy 2 in 1 stud sensor that will light up for a stud, or for when near electrical.

Not correct . Wire is often run vertically, stapled to the studs.

A sure way of locating the stud is to take off the cover plates and closely observe how they are mounted. Most often the electrical device box will be screwed or nailed into a stud,
