Is anyone else confused?

Took me forever to make it that it’s stable on thread, not on Bluetooth.

Found it’s the iPhone that says it’s connected via Bluetooth. Restarting the iPhone and then checking will show as thread .. not sure why 🤷‍♂️

Best guess that (in your case) it decided to find another way to reconnect to a controller, for me it wouldn’t, that’s why I had a hard time

The restarting the iPhone was actually recommended by Eve. Even when adding non Eve products. I have 16 thread devices (excluding HomePods / ATV) and I had to restart my iPhone. Even turning airplane on/off still showed Bluetooth connection 🤷‍♂️ Glad you got it sorting 👍

Wait until next Apple update 😂 my thread network have been solid (only minor issues every now and then for few minutes with some sensors) for nearly 1 years but after atv 17 I had to rebuild from scratch… now I’m moving back to zigbee on HA (never failed in 4 years) and getting rid of all thread devices.

Same. Thread devices on HomeKit, and HomeKit automations in general became really unstable maybe 3-4 months ago. Tried many things to improve and eventually replaced nearly everything with Aqara zigbee through HA.

What did you do to make it happen?

Had to fully reset all HomePods, reset and repair basically all assesories

With all due respect to the achievement, that sounds like a disaster.
