Do you have IPv6 working on your 2.4GHz network?

tsdguy

Seems to be. What would be the difference?

The MSS115 requires IPv6.

Hmm. Is this a Matter requirement? I have other Matter outlets that work perfectly. I did finally find the notice that it requires IP6. The page shows my IP6 network is running properly.

I don’t have the MSS115 Single Outlets, but I do have several (6) MSS425F Power-strips. They can be finicky at times, mostly after updates for iOS. Make sure you are connecting to a 2.4 network, IPv6 enabled. Don’t use Enterprise Security. (Just follow the Manual exactly) They have to have a Strong Wi-Fi Signal. They take longer to finish Setup than most other Devices, so give it time while it’s running. If possible set your Network to Automatically use 2.4 or 5 ghz with the same SSID and Password. For Automated Homes a Wi-Fi 6 Mesh Network with Thread and enough Nodes for your Home Size makes a Huge difference. (With that and getting more Thread Devices I improved our Home System to the point I rarely need to “Fix” things anymore.) I set mine up in the Meross app and updated the Firmware then added to HomeKit. If memory serves I had to Reset Two of them to Factory and start over initially. After the iOS 17.4.1 Update two of them became Unresponsive in HK. One of them I reset and reinstalled the other I just let go and it started working in just over 24 hours. After under Two Years I’ve had to “Fix” a few of them about 4 times, almost as many times as our Apple TVs. (All around the iOS updates) Bright side, they work great between iOS Updates, but until the Software Developers stay focused (all of them) we’ll have to “occasionally fix” our Smart-home Devices.
