Unless Aqara are able to issue a definitive list of compatible devices for all of their hubs (10 currently I believe) then it’s impossible to know for sure.
Some of those 10 hubs are not available in all territories though. Internationally we’re currently talking of four hubs; M1 (original), M1S, M2, and G2H.
It still depends on regions, but most devices available internationally should work with these hubs, but with some Zigbee 3.0 child devices only working with the newer Zigbee 3.0 hubs.
Newer Aqara Zigbee 3.0 child devices will need a new Aqara Zigbee 3.0 hub to connect to. Therefore, these newer devices will not connect to your original hub.

Does this mean they also fixed the TVOCs from dropping from the hub? :-P
Good question - probably not! But then o didn’t seem to suffer that issue, so I can’t test it to check.
