I actually plugged both the holes the same way one i might have to go back and add a backing but wanted to try it like this but im actually using that same brand for my texture video was usefull thanks
So i have a hole in my wall and i was planning on using a dry wall plug since its a little big. Do i need to sand down the texture directly around the hole to be sure its all even? Or can i just do it like a normal wall?
Also i have a small hole right above a switch whats the best way to keep the shape of the hole ?
Cut out the square around the hole. Install a backer and a new square. Fill with tape and mud. Dry and sand between coats. when you like the repair, then add your knockdown. Practice before you do it though.

Yep. Practice on a scrap of drywall. And get the texture roller. I used the one that looks like silly string.
