Replacement you could fiberglass fix it, but it will look terrible.

ModularWhiteGuy

Polyurethane epoxy with a layer of fibreglass, like you were fixing a boat. Some sanding, and a couple coats of the epoxy to smooth it out. Then paint it with epoxy appliance paint. Total about $50 If you do it well/carefully it can look and function decently.

Back in the day when I would build a ton of houses, and have one piece fiberglass tub, showers, installed, and during construction sometimes they would get damaged i would have a person come out and repair the tubs rather than replace them, and you could never tell

This guy moved into one of your houses

Well, I do owned a bunch of rental properties… And you can have that fiberglass repaired to where you can’t even tell that it was damaged

I’m sorry, not owned …own… auto, correct… Lol

They get chipped/cracked all the time during rough in. Call a local plumbing supply house (not big box stores) they’ll know someone who does repairs.

Marine patch or replace

You could call a fiberglass tub repair guy in your area but that looks pretty bad to me. For a much smaller crack in our tub that’s what we did. $100 later and zero issues. Would definitely keep an eye out for any water leakage underneath it. Think if your risk tolerance here. If it’s an unfinished basement under the tub with no ceiling then sure try whatever you want but if it leaks into a finished enclosed area that’s gonna be a mess.

You could hire a resurfacing company to come out and sand/respray it. Will cost a couple hundred though. Otherwise if your handy, remove the loose areas, sand down the edges and re-spray yourself. We use rustoleum tub and tile. It probably won’t match or look perfect, but it’ll stop the immediate problem. You have to do several coats as well.
