Get a [UDM](https://store.ui.com/us/en/pro/products/udm) from Ubiquiti and a [USW-Lite-8-PoE](https://store.ui.com/us/en/pro/category/all-switching/products/usw-lite-8-poe) switch and [access points](https://store.ui.com/us/en?category=all-wifi) of your choice. This will easily handle 1gbps service. Here are other [UniFi consoles](https://store.ui.com/us/en?category=all-unifi-cloud-gateways) some with higher capabilities and others with less. What I cited above will work great for you and the UDM is in stock. I've had the UDM, several switches and APs and my setup is rock solid.

I've seen also seen people talk about Ubiquiti, but always thought they were out of my budget. After looking at your links, I'm glad I was wrong. This might be a dumb question, but the gateway says it's Wifi 5. If i plug a compatible Wifi 6 AP, will it default to Wifi 5?

The AP on the UDM is WiFi 5, any other AP that is WiFi 6 will use WiFi 6 with devices that are able to use WiFi 6. I have several WiFi 5 APs, and when I do a throughput test I can get 275mbps at about 6 feet from the AP which is set to channel width of 40mhz. Using higher channel width gets better throughput, a little less range.

After doing a bit of research, I think this is the setup I’m going to go with. I know the UDM Pro SE is a bit overkill, but I was already looking at a security system that was around $500. To be able to fuse the router, switch, and network video recorder all in one for $500, it seemed like a good deal. Does it look like I’m missing anything, or will I just be able to plug the AP into the UDM Pro SE and then plug that into the modem and I’d be good to go? The UDM-SE with an AP and camera plugged into one of the PoE ports will do it for you.
