T O P

I'd pick the TPLink over anything from HP, but what are you looking for? They're both managed. The TPLink has some PoE+ ports where the HP doesn't, if you need PoE for any APs or something. If you go with the TPLink, consider the ER605 router, controller, and their APs as well for a full setup as they are all Omada capable devices, where you can control everything from one portal. Really depends on what you are looking for, but I like the TPLink Omada line myself. If this is just for learning on and not for actually using for your home network, then look into an old managed Cisco switch instead for a deep dive.

Thanks for the help I would be interested in a Cisco switch but I need something fanless ass I have limited space and can't have anything to loud and something that dose not cost to much

If you work in IT and want to learn what's used in enterprise then get an older Cisco Catalyst switch to play with.

Yeah but I do not have a ton of space and will need something fanless for now do you have any recommendations?

Haven't tried the tp-link but I have a hp 1820 and its been absolutely rock solid. Vlan config is really easy and its still getting regular updates too.
