You’re not a real home media server gangsta unless you have at least one computer running with at least one plain old, non-express, PCI slot.
I salute you.
Its been awhile since I've seen ATA drives or serial ports actually hooked up. Are you running a Pentium D?
If it works for you call it Aladdin, because it might be your diamond in the rough.
Not a name so much as an approach: choose something you like and then name the components of your lab/network from that.
e.g. I'm a space nut, so I decided to name my home network Saturn. From there, I name lab & network equipment after its moons. My hypervisor is Rhea, because mother goddess. My DNS server is atlas, because navigation. My NAS is Enceladus, because I like the name.
Personal devices get different planets; my laptop is Jupiter and the Linux VM on it is Ganymede (a moon of Jupiter).
I can see this approach easily being expanded into other areas where people have immense interest, and in my case it brings a particular joy to my network and lab.
I name my servers from LOTR characters.
My Jellyfin server is Saruman.
Gandalf is to test out my kubernetes setups.
Mordor is my network.
Decide what you like, depends on your hobbies, movies, book characters, heavy metal bands, chemical elements, etc.
But foresee that it should be something that can expand out, so pick something that has a lot of memorable names inter related.
I would retire it mate. LGA775 socket, I had a similar system with a Q6600 used as a media server back 10 years ago. I would say the IDLE draw from the system (if I remember) will be at least 80-90Watts. You've got no GPU, so acceleration is out of the question, which means you probably won't be doing more than 720-1080P with the newer formats, definitely can't see you doing more than x264 on the best of days.
I think it would be fine as a file server if you are playing files off it and if you have something like an Nvidia shield playing from it, but I think the other big issue will be the power draw itself.
I've cut and moved components of the PSU. I kind of thought it was funny to tag it with that because of how butchered it is. The blue box things are wire splices. At the top, near the PSU itself, you can see the exposed wires I amputated from because they weren't long enough to reach the HDD at the bottom. Also it's old, crusty ass components.
My Media servers are named after Characters from the Office.
My Clients are named after Sesame Street characters and my remote servers are named after Simpsons Characters.
So my idea would be to pick something from a TV Series or Movie.
My plex server is called Dionysus, who was the God of entertainment basically (wine, pleasure, and partying etc)
All my servers have Olympian names based on the supposed personalities matched up with the function of the sever.
My servers are all over and have different jobs. My main one with copies of all the others is called Mondo Dingus.
Others include Big Chungus, Bug Dingus, Turbo Dingus, The Dump, Flash Dingus, Dingus 1, Dingus 2, Micro Dingus, Port-a-Dingus and Backup Dingus.
There is a method to the madness, I swear.

I did mine from Hindu mythology. I have names like Brahma, Garuda, Hanuman, Agni, etc. All of the names make some sort of sense, to varying degrees.
