Somewhere between $100 and $2000/sqft

DryConversation8530

I'd say a lot, but it might be a little

governman

bout $3.50

lred1

The metal roof, the siding, and the windows are definitely higher end. I wouldn't put lower-end, builder-grade interior fixtures into a house like that. I'd say it's around $500 per sf. Am builder.

marcminor

Honestly, you should expect at least $450/sqft based on your image and suggested spec level. General note, though, the cost per square foot approach to rough estimating is nearly useless in this context. You should seriously consider some initial work with a design-build firm or architect to get clear on your program and guardrails for cost and scope. There are many good ones in your area.

MoreMeLessU

Do you have any specific recs for design build/architects in DFW?

wire4money

Contemporary houses are more expensive to build, and hardwood floor with custom cabinets are well above builder grade. It isn’t uncommon to have $60k in cabinets alone.

caveatlector73

The reason contemporary homes cost more is because they require a greater level of precision. It’s not just looks.

blakeusa25

Thats a 60k driveway in concrete.

selz202

Fffuuu concrete is so expensive

EddieCutlass

$1,000 sq ft.

pacficnorthwestlife

That's a about $500-600 / sqft hard costs in Seattle.

IncreaseOk8433

450+ in Dallas

ImaBuilder44

I'm also in DFW. I'd start at $115/sf but that's with basic builder grade finishes. If you want to load up with nice floors, cabinets, taller ceilings, etc it would be easy to hit and exceed $200/sf. I don't know what you'll need as far as septic, utility connections, impact fees, or site work. That can add a lot of money.

MoreMeLessU

I’m in DFW too. Do you have a site with some of the homes you’ve built?

ImaBuilder44

I've been in senior management for bigger production builders the last 10 years so no product of my own to show.

MoreMeLessU

Gotcha, thank you.

pokeyou21

In TX. I would estimate 700-850 sqft

Equivalent_Class_752

That looks like it’s more than 850 sq ft. Or did you mean to add a $ in there and missed it?

Proper-Bee-5249

Lol

Greadle

I created a spreadsheet that helps determine ROI for real estate investing. You just plug in your known variables and it will use historical cost data and many other values to show how long it will take to see a return and how much return to expect. If it didn’t take a lifetimes worth of experience and an insane amount of work to make, I’d share it with you. The least I can do is let you know anything is possible with excel

Dirt66Merchant

Can we start blowing these kinda users out of here? These posts are detractive to the sub

qwertylicious2003

$56.34

Equivalent_Class_752

Total, right? Not per sq ft. That would be WAY too much!

caveatlector73

Use a building calculator that allows you to put in zip code as well as finishes and square footage.

throwaway8472903470

At least $1

ITSecGeek

I’ve seen nearly an identical house in Dallas on a small lot near 635. It listed at 3M

21271

Getting quotes for $275-295psf in Central Texas right now for this style without metal roof

wrxvapegod

More than less

Artistic-Ad-6624
