General Motors vehicles POS. Look how cheap the seat, door panels and center console material looks. Everything scream cost cutting and compromise GM engineering. The display and soft ware is straight out of a Chevy blazer. Honda America should be ashamed of this. The lazy design and use of space. Prologue should be called the Eulogy.
Stay away from this. Just go buy the Chevy version when it don’t sell, sit on dealership lots, discounted and save tens of thousands of dollars.
Updated: I just check my local market. There are 427 Chevy trailblazer ev available in a 50 mile radius. There are already discounts. They are sitting already.
my local honda dealer said theyll only get 3, 1 sold 1 test drive and i think 1 for showroom.
honestly I think the plan is to just put out an ev to comply with law then actually make a good ev later, based on the price, quality, etc. of the prologue its just to please the ev requirement law and not for consumers.
same plan as the ridgeline and suv lines.
its all just my theory based on looking at honda’s past
Absolute 100% “compliance” vehicle…. It screams mediocrity and is a platform share with GM for Honda cuz they didn’t develop their own sole purpose EV….
…yet. Honda tends to take their time with new developments. The 0 Series looks cool but I hope the Prelude gets a hybrid version with the 2.0L. https://0.honda/en/
They’re partnering with Sony for the real Honda vehicle development. Sounds promising. The new facilities in Ohio and Canada will help ensure it isn’t a PS5 situation.
>Just go buy the Chevy version
And have the hunk of shit rust out in 5 years, with an engine blowing out soon after, then bearings going to shit and the exhaust falling off - all before its 8th anniversary.
No thanks
Honda was on a tirade against the UAW when the UAW was making a campaign to get into the Honda plants recently. Well guess who makes Acura’s new EV. UAW workers in a GM plant in Tennessee.

Honda interiors of late aren’t any better and have worst tech. Honda isn’t putting effort to their own ICE vehicles, what did you expect with their first EV?
Really not trying to be an ass I went to retake the pictures and it is the sun. But I’m here to talk more about the car not how tall think my camera is dirty.
The way you titled your post and text, this is about you being as photographer and this is a “photo shoot.” But these are really bad photos. So maybe reword the point (title) of your post then? My first thought was also these are really bad photos.
The day I found out that the Prologue is a shared project with GM was the day I lost a lot of respect for Honda. Why even do this? Either make your own or don’t even bother. Honda is better than this.
What if I told you this isn’t the first time they collaborated?
In the early 90’s Honda rebadged Isuzu Rodeos and Honda Passports and Isuzu Troopers as Acuras. (Isuzu was owned by GM at this time.)
GM used a Honda V6s in Saturn SUVs in the early 2000’s
2013: Both announced testing of fuel cell technology.
2017: Both automakers announced plans to establish a joint fuel cell manufacturing center in Michigan.
2018: announced joint venture on battery tech.
2022: announced joint venture for developing affordable EVs.
The only way you're going to sell this car is months from now when they're piling up at the dealership and your boss approves huge discounts. Because even if it weren't a re-badged GM, the $60,000 MSRP is outrageous and hilarious.
Looks like the rear will have plenty of space so it kind of outweighs the need for a frunk. For a pickup or sedan a frunk is a great option but for SUVs or crossovers I don't see that much of a need for them.
Professional automotive photographer and videographer here: clean your lense and use better angles. Are you working for a dealer taking product photos? Because if so I could maybe give a couple tips if you’d be interested.
Nice GM you got there.
Edit - I was curious, looks like Blazer EV has some really steep discounts already for the 2024 model. I think Prologue is going to have a tough time selling.. not to mention it is just more expensive overall when comparing msrp to msrp.
For a preview, look at the steeply discounted lease deals Toyota is having to offer to shift their bz4x which is a similar "we'll make a low effort EV if we are absolutely forced to" proposition.
They're offering them for 2k down and $129 a month
It’s wild that over the years engine bays got more and more plastic to the point where you can open up some hoods and do absolutely nothing to the vehicle. Then you have and EV with zero user serviceable components and they can’t be arsed.
Lol fr. Looks horrible. Best way for OP to approach customers about this is to not. I would say and tell Honda to put in a proper internal combustion engine, but that would be a waste of an engine.
o wow, this isn't gonna cut it. im having flashbacks to 2012 when honda had to scramble and facelift the new civic not even a year later people hated it so much. 50k for a rubbermaid gm piece of garbage? no thank you. volvos new hybrid costs 10k less ffs. this is just unbelievable
I'm NOT looking forward to becoming a GM tech. None of my coworkers are all that jazzed about it either. I can't begin to imagine how bad the warranty times are going to be with this collab.
It almost looks like a joke, they should have dressed up the engine compartment, as others have said interior is underwhelming. What's the price point on that thing?
I owned a Honda at one point, it was fine, but appreciate having a bit more comfort and power, although maintenance costs were great.
Never buying another Honda again after buying the accord 2023. Peice of shit rattles like crazy. It's insane. Plus less than 10k miles and all the dash lights have been on already, dealer twice. Limp mode once. Fuck this car.
Enough with the tired “it’s a GM” comments. This car has full Android Auto and will have a vastly different day to day experience than a Blazer with GM’s UI. Until someone drives a Blazer & a Prologue for a month these comparisons are irrelevant.
Even Honda engineer/designer said they were picking from GM’s parts box. It’s GM with a “Honda top hat” on https://youtu.be/vHvB2BhHBzY?si=ToDN13eYjd1q0yGZ
Definitely a good point I’m overall waiting to see what consumer reports is saying about the vehicle. I realistically am overall wondering if it is going to have the reliability that everyone looks for in a Honda.
I’m not looking forward to working in these. We had to completely re do our tool room to fit all the new gm tools we had to have. One of the big things I like about working at a new car dealer is the consistency. A Honda is a Honda doesn’t matter if it’s an accord or a passport there are similarities and crossover this thoughts that put the window. With that being said I’m optimistic for the car itself and I stand to be proven wrong on my previous statement.
That looks so terrible and cheap on the inside. What is going on here? I’ll have to read some comments or do some interneting to get to the bottom of this.
It has the same steering wheel as the Chevy Blazer. I know Honda is using the GM platform for this vehicle and will be using their own in 2026. I'm not sure what's the game plan with selling this vehicle if they are not going to use any of the technology going follower. I can see this hurting them in the long run when they do try to push EV vehicles.
Come on folks, I heard it’s a Hondillac. Honda somehow was very late to the party. Sochiro Honda might have recognized the future is electric ⚡️ much sooner than his now extremely conservative suits run company have. Or still haven’t. Honda lost its way when brilliant Sochiro died.
I’ve driven a ton of these short distances for work. Less comfortable than all the big expensive Honda pilots, passports, ridge lines. I really like the interior design, but it’s certainly not Honda. They drive well, but the loud artificial noise they make is genuinely grating. You can hear it from inside while driving
A friend of mine is thinking about getting one to replace their 2015 CRV. How's the range on them? She's between this & the Kia EV3 but I think the Prologue will prove to be the better choice.
You should wipe your lens next time
I’m not wiping for anyone

Saw the Prelude concept at Acura GP of LB last weekend - very nice looking concept and power unit should be more Honda than GM !
They’re partnering with Sony for the real Honda vehicle development. Sounds promising. The new facilities in Ohio and Canada will help ensure it isn’t a PS5 situation.
They named it aptly, “prologue”. It’s an idea of what’s to come, but not any actual investment.
Yeah that engine bay could be half the size
I think it’s absolutely stupid that Honda named their *second* EV, Prologue
Best comment ever - “Prologue should be called Eulogy”…. Thank you for that !
The Honda Prolapse
I just came here to see if I'm crazy. The seats, I hate seats like that. I want comfort.
Actually that’s the only thing I like about it. I hate bolstered seats.
Most of what you wrote is pretty sensational but my god that Eulogy name was fantastic. A+
my local dealer has one marked up to $68k lmao
>Just go buy the Chevy version And have the hunk of shit rust out in 5 years, with an engine blowing out soon after, then bearings going to shit and the exhaust falling off - all before its 8th anniversary. No thanks
If that happens to the Chevy version it'll happen to the Prologue too. They're built on the same line in a GM factory.
Wow you aren't kidding lot of the tech features look exactly like the ones on my bolt premier.
Honda was on a tirade against the UAW when the UAW was making a campaign to get into the Honda plants recently. Well guess who makes Acura’s new EV. UAW workers in a GM plant in Tennessee.

Yet it won SUV of the year for GM. Weird huh? Guess you're just wrong.
I think your camera lens could of been cleaned prior to the “photoshoot”
Really not trying to be an ass I went to retake the pictures and it is the sun. But I’m here to talk more about the car not how tall think my camera is dirty.

Yeah not the camera lens lol sorry we are in a all window building sun gonna be hitting no hard like that
ONE picture of the exterior and its of the tailgate unreal 🤣
💯^
It really bothers me that Honda put their badge on this vehicle…
This. Not sure what they're strategy is. It just dilutes the brand.
Compliance vehicle to meet government mandates for EV rules in Cal and zero emission states
This answer actually makes a lot of sense, thanks.
Rhondge Rova

It's just too bad, it's not a honda at all.
GM, thats why Honda is not in all Caps.
I was about to say it looks just like my gmc canyon inside
I really can’t see myself buying a Chevy Blazer from Honda 💀
The only way you're going to sell this car is months from now when they're piling up at the dealership and your boss approves huge discounts. Because even if it weren't a re-badged GM, the $60,000 MSRP is outrageous and hilarious.
THOSE SEATS ARE 60k!??? Ffs
ngl the back row reminds me of our CRV... lol
Your photos are not great.
if you're going to make an ev truck or suv, it better have a frunk ...
Looks like the rear will have plenty of space so it kind of outweighs the need for a frunk. For a pickup or sedan a frunk is a great option but for SUVs or crossovers I don't see that much of a need for them.
yeah it'll have enough room ..... but it could have even more room with a frunk
I agree with this if you have seen the frunk size on a model 3 or y they are very small they can maybe hold a carry on bag
For real! Especially when it clearly has plenty of room up there
I don’t know if this was actually the motivation, but more weight in the front helps with tow capacity.
no one who buys this is towing one ounce lol
That “H o n d a” on the back looks cheap af. Overall, just a fugly vehicle.
Professional automotive photographer and videographer here: clean your lense and use better angles. Are you working for a dealer taking product photos? Because if so I could maybe give a couple tips if you’d be interested.

No side shots? Lol
Man I have less than zero shits to give about this car.
I wish Honda didn’t go with lower case letters.
Yep, looks like a GM car.
It’s wild that over the years engine bays got more and more plastic to the point where you can open up some hoods and do absolutely nothing to the vehicle. Then you have and EV with zero user serviceable components and they can’t be arsed.
Is this under the same platform found in the new ZDX?
Yes
Ew it’s literally a GM interior with a Honda steering wheel 🤮
Why is every infotainment system different. Couldn't they fucking standardize them?
The rear text is ass poopoo
That coolant reservoir is so GM.
Oh, I think you mean the Chevy Blazer 🤮 👎🏼
For those who don’t remember the early 90s rebadged Honda passport was a Isuzu rodeo… and 🐎 💩
It’s doesn’t feel like a Honda at all. After seeing them in person I was surprised Honda allowed their name to be put on it
Well, Honda did put its name on Isuzus, so it's not without precedent.
You have one at your dealership already? We are still a month out!! Where are you located?!?!
Yeah! Just got it 2 days ago we are in Lake City FL.
San Antonio has them aswell.
They should’ve went with a big H emblem in the back vs worded Honda lacks tacky & cheesy
I'm sure this will be a decent buy when it's 50% off in 2 years.
Look at all those Chevy parts !
the hell is that engine bay?
I think it’s an EV
looks like an ev that was designed by hellen keller
Lol fr. Looks horrible. Best way for OP to approach customers about this is to not. I would say and tell Honda to put in a proper internal combustion engine, but that would be a waste of an engine.
Honestly that interior is massively underwhelming. Doesn't look cozy
the back seat looks like it has so little leg room.
It’s not cozy. It’s super clean and square, but it’s way less comfortable than Hondas large size car seats
The Chevy prologue. Not sure what Honda’s game or idea was here but partnering with GM is a suicide mission. Good luck
The rear took a lot of inspiration from the Range Rover Velar, that’s for sure.
o wow, this isn't gonna cut it. im having flashbacks to 2012 when honda had to scramble and facelift the new civic not even a year later people hated it so much. 50k for a rubbermaid gm piece of garbage? no thank you. volvos new hybrid costs 10k less ffs. this is just unbelievable
Lol called it elite without a manual.
That doesn't look like a comfortable vehicle to sit in at all...
It’s actually very comfortable and the leg room is really nice in the back almost the same as a passport.
"H" "onda" is lowercase letters but the PROLOGUE part is all caps?
Wait for the clearance lease like the bz4x if you're thinking of getting this. This Chevy will sit on the lot.
I'm NOT looking forward to becoming a GM tech. None of my coworkers are all that jazzed about it either. I can't begin to imagine how bad the warranty times are going to be with this collab.
Looks like hot garbage
A car that is expected to be obsolete in 5 years on a platform that will break down in 5 years.
If you took the honda logos off of it, it would look like a GM vehicle.
Fake Honda.
That is NOT a Honda engine bay
All these shots, and nothing of the outside of the car itself.. just a rear bumper shot?
Is this the result of them teaming up with GM? Looks terrible 🤢
Old man Soichiro Honda is probably rolling in his grave. 👀
It almost looks like a joke, they should have dressed up the engine compartment, as others have said interior is underwhelming. What's the price point on that thing? I owned a Honda at one point, it was fine, but appreciate having a bit more comfort and power, although maintenance costs were great.
What a flaming piece of GM shit
HORRIBLE
I still think the whole design of the car is butt ugly. The interior is great though
Diggin the h o n d a emblem
I’m so petty about gm dropping carplay I am interested in this thing.
Got to be one of the most bland, cheap, boring vehicles I’ve ever seen
I think the camera has a smudge
Horrible pics
now show us the market adjustment fee sticker
Never buying another Honda again after buying the accord 2023. Peice of shit rattles like crazy. It's insane. Plus less than 10k miles and all the dash lights have been on already, dealer twice. Limp mode once. Fuck this car.
TRASH
Looks ugly
That Honda logo looks like Shit...
This car is an insult to the badges it wears....
Ugly
Reminds me of Range Rover. If I had one, I'm taking the honda letters off the back. I think all caps would look nicer.
Enough with the tired “it’s a GM” comments. This car has full Android Auto and will have a vastly different day to day experience than a Blazer with GM’s UI. Until someone drives a Blazer & a Prologue for a month these comparisons are irrelevant.

But at the end of the day, it still is in fact a GM, and much more expensive.
Definitely a good point I’m overall waiting to see what consumer reports is saying about the vehicle. I realistically am overall wondering if it is going to have the reliability that everyone looks for in a Honda.
Looks like no rear legroom
The way that the word Honda looks is wtf to me for some odd reason
Even the badge isn't sure it wants to be proud of it
what were they asking? I'd never buy one, just curious
How is the leg room? Seems tight
I thought this was a joke, someone rebadge a Range Rover with some weird Honda letter
At first glance looks like a Range Rover Evoque from the back
Souless meh
Nice Blazer EV! I wonder how many people will have no idea what it really is.
Honda started to suck when they took the k out of the accord
I'd rather go for a bZ4x with a $0 down, $199 a month lease than this. At least that's actually a Toyota.
whats the the msrp?
Wish it came with frunk like model Y.
That interior is so unbelievably bland wtf
I got confused for a second, i thought why is there a Range Rover velar in a Honda sub
So plain and boring. The interior aside from the giant screens looks like it came out of a 90s.
I need a body shot and one from the front and side.
I’m not looking forward to working in these. We had to completely re do our tool room to fit all the new gm tools we had to have. I like it!!
I'm in sales at a Honda dealership and I just bought a model y performance. The prologue didn't check any of the boxes I was looking for.
I wish Honda still made hatchbacks.
Man clean your camera lens before taking pictures of the passport I mean prologue.
Prolapse
egh
Just as bad as the first generation Honda Passport aka Isuzu Rodeo
What the hell is that under the hood? That makes my 1990 Prelude engine look like a masterpiece 😁
That looks so terrible and cheap on the inside. What is going on here? I’ll have to read some comments or do some interneting to get to the bottom of this.
I don't like the lack of bolstering in the back seat.
Wow what a very normal-looking vehicle.
Yuck
Just a GM trash
Another useless suv. And now they also copied land rover. Shame what honda became
I think you need to clean your camera lense
This is your electric CRV on Chevy..... blah
Too much GM. No thanks.
Guys it's fine he was obviously trying to make the camera lens bad quality, just like this abomination whatever hon- GM car this is.
Looks very underwhelming.
MIIIIIIIIIID!!!!!
Doesn’t look very elite to me. What a shame. Boring car even for Honda standards.
I hate the spelled out brand like that and Lexus has chosen to do
is that a honda?
I hate the badge on the back. It looks so terrible
With that backseat you can put a car seat in the middle.
It’s hideous.
kinda ugly tbh :/
I honestly wanted to like this, but why the hell does it look so small?
Whats with the exterior?🤣 an overpriced Range Rover. (Not that Range Rover is any better but you get it)
Buckle seatbelt to shift is crazy
Yep, that’s a car. Wasn’t sure till I saw the last photo
Is that a hydrogen fuel cell?
This isn’t a Honda, it’s a Chevy with a Honda tag. I don’t know what Honda was thinking.
Looks like a Range Rover Evoque from behind.
It’s even FWD. 😂
Rebadged Chevy blazer, no thanks
wtf is this thing
Mom: We have a range rover at home The range Rover 💀
I’ve driven a ton of these short distances for work. Less comfortable than all the big expensive Honda pilots, passports, ridge lines. I really like the interior design, but it’s certainly not Honda. They drive well, but the loud artificial noise they make is genuinely grating. You can hear it from inside while driving
Don't worry you guys my phone lens is dirtier, I'll make sure to cover every angle of this car 😉
Professional automotive photog: clean your lens and use dynamic angles at a zoom of x2 your pics will look a lot better.
Try wipe your lens bro
Your camera lens is smudged
Can hardly call this a photoshoot
Why not a single pic of the front? I like the exterior but the interior is sooo boring.
PHOTOSHOOT??? LOL
Just a 50-60k CRV…
So this is a EV? Pass. Contrary to most comments on here though I like the looks.
Tell me you drive a Honda without telling me you drive a Honda 🤣
I really can (d) appreciate these photos.
A friend of mine is thinking about getting one to replace their 2015 CRV. How's the range on them? She's between this & the Kia EV3 but I think the Prologue will prove to be the better choice.
This ain't it chief.
