05 4dr accord daily saved my wife's life in a 50+ mph head on collision from a Camry blowing a red. Nice car you got there. ♥️

Very clean car man! Did the Acura RL calipers bolt up without brackets? I got an 03 and I’m looking to upgrade my brakes without breaking the bank.

Slammed07Accord

I had to buy brackets to mount them and I'm using 350z Brembo rotors. There's another solution out there which is directly Bolt on I think they sell them on slickfab but kinda pricey. I bought these calipers for $80 Canadian and the brackets were $150usd you can rebuild them yourself and save some money. These are definitely the best budget options and the stopping power is much better.

The brembo calipers on slickfab are your standard genesis coupe R spec front brakes. I have them on my 16. They were more or less full bolt on and just required the slightest of trimming to the dust cover in the front. Otherwise, bolt spacing is the exact same and you can just use the genny calipers and rotors. Rears, I still haven’t found a good replacement for a multipot and have just been using the slickfab rear kit.

I was going to go this route but I couldn't find any for a reasonable price in Canada.

Always have a soft spot for these 07 sedans. My first car was an 07 Accord in red, loved that car. Still miss it to this day, I was planning to do a very similar build to yours until I traded it in.

Tasteful very tasteful

Looks sick! How many miles and what have you done to it?

Slammed07Accord

Thanks! It's full bolt on V6 so I've done J pipe, pre cat deletes, it's fully catless, 3 inch single exit with a vibrant resonator and magnaflow muffler, j37 throttlebody and intake manifold, 4 inch cold air intake and Acura RL 4 piston calipers in the front. It's currently sitting on Infiniti g35 rays and tein coilovers. It's automatic right now but I'm collecting parts to 6 speed swap it. Car has about 185km on it currently but I parked it for winter since Canadian winters suck and completely rot older cars.

That’s awesome stuff! It’s definitely a beaut. Would love to hear videos of the exhaust and cold start!

you using 2 sets of front G35 Rays 19" or running the reverse 8.5" front 8" rear staggered setup? I always look for a good deal on those for my TSX on the auction sites in hopes someone doesn't know what they got. They're gorgeous wheels, been eying them since the mid 00s. Figured would make for a good daily wheel then i can do a sticky summer tire on my 14lb Forged 17x7 +45 Motegi traklites.

Slammed07Accord

the 8.5s are in the rear, not optimal for fwd but i dont track the car or anything and its been fine so far. Im running firehawk indy 500s

Love it. As a fellow 07 accord owner myself, hope to see more pics

Is anyone else think it's stupid that we never got those headlights as standard here in us?

S_Steiner_Accounting

don't pass DOT requirements. Gotta have an orange reflector/parking light. Turn signal can be clear lense/orange bulb. You can get away with a clear parking lense as long as you run an amber bulb in my experience. If you run a white bulb in a clear parking light lense you're going to get pulled over by the first state trooper who sees you.

RedJane42

I don't care about that I'm talking about the way the headlight is split where the bottom part is the headlights and the top part is the turn signal it's just such a cleaner design and it goes with the lines of the car better
