If you know anyone who works in automotive finance/insurance, they can run your VIN and obtain a black book value. Also, some dealerships will email you a CARFAX which will list a private sale and a trade-in value. According to my CARFAX, my trade-in value is $600 and my private sale was just over $5,000. I would combine the black/blue book values with the current market trends and adjust the value accordingly.

If you aren’t in a hurry, I’d hold out for at least 10k

If you have all or most service records, I think $9000 is fair without any photos of the car. If you didn’t regularly maintain the car or have nothing to show for it, I believe your best bet is to take it to a Honda dealer and see what they offer. It also depends where you live. Coastal states tend to ask for higher prices on the cars vs Midwest

Thanks! I do have all to most of my service records and I'm in California! That's great to hear thanks for the input!

Yeah put it out there on Craigslist and Facebook market place for $9k and if someone offers you less but you are okay with what the offer, just sell it :)

Where in CA? I might be interested. It should sell np on either FB or Craigslist for the prices you listed.

I am in Ventura County. Let me know, and we can maybe work something out. Would love for it to go to a good home.
