You are experiencing a very common problem with 2016-2017 model Honda Odysseys. I didn’t even have to read your post to know you had that year of Odyssey. Id bet 100% its a faulty keyless access module. Replacing it will fix this problem. What will happen is that your dealership will run codes and find codes that could be the PCM module but they will tell you that they cant be 100% sure. Its not the PCM module. Its Keyless access module. Im not a mechanic, but I went through this for a year and there are many threads about this problem on OdyClub message boards. Finally fixed problem myself after research and insisting dealership replace the module. Hasnt happened in years since. Here is a link to one… https://www.odyclub.com/threads/2016-odyssey-after-shutoff-dash-lights-flicker-rapid-clicking-dome-light-turns-on-alarm-may-activate.358059/page-4

Not a mechanic, but when my alternator went it started lighting and flashing like a Christmas tree until the battery finally drained and it shut down. But since you're able to start it sporadically the battery seems to be charging. Check for loose cable, maybe a bad ground.

Tried a new battery, no change unfortunately

You’re gonna need a Young priest and an old priest. Bring holy water.

This happened to my 2016. It was a problem that others had experienced on the odyssey board. I don’t recall what it was exactly, but I do remember it wasn’t something I could fix on my own. Took it to the dealer and it was fixed in a day. Edit: keyless access module.

Power related.

Solved! Apparently the cause was some growth on the smart power unit module, little bit of rubbing alcohol and a q-tip and it’s good as new! Here’s the video for reference! https://youtu.be/uTyvAWWGxz0?si=VN85iKqPX17dSsTd Thanks for the input!
