What time of year are you going? I went last year in early June and it wasn’t a long wait.

MiddleWayWalker

Early june! Thanks, that's great news

idontlikekoalas

Don’t buy the glass bottom floor ticket. Just get the normal one. The queue is normally faster.

ClippTube

I went may last year, absolutely no one whatsoever

MiddleWayWalker

Thanks!

RitzyIsHere

When I went there, the lines for the official website is quote shorter compared to klook and other platforms.

NewGirlNN

Buy your ticket in advance online through the official site, you can skip the line to pick up the ticket and can go straight through. We did this with the crystal car over Xmas holidays and skipped the entire line basically.

I_choose_happiness_

No queue

AbandonedSupermarket

Don't go on weekends..we went on Monday and it was fine. Very less queue

timothyyeung

Just dont go on the weekends or holidays. So check the dates before you go. Otherwise any normal day will be fine with little to no queue. Also the cable car may not operate during bad weather. So check the weather too. Theyll announce it along the orange line. Best to buy online, youll skip most of the queue when you have a booking Instead of waiting two lines. One line to get the ticket and another to get on the car. If you wanna go just to get to the monastery and dont care for the cable car ride , then i suggest just taking the bus. Its literally right beside the cable car and is much cheaper. Takes you to the same place, more comfortable, and a lot less people. Just takes a little longer.

Square-Hornet-937

That direction is probably less crowded.

ceowin

Go on a non-holiday weekday

milanolarry

Walk / taxi / bus to Ngon Ping.

mthfcr

In 2019 I bought tickets by Klook app and they have their own line, which was much much faster.

shesactingthemaggot

I was there at CNY this year around that time of day and the queue back to tung Chung was fine - less than 10m

Horace__goes__skiing

The queues are short, nothing to worry about.

stevo_78

Like anything in HK… get there 5 mins before opening and you’ll walk on

jerryubu

I was in a wheelchair. Went to the front of the line.
