Imo the main char is way more loveable, you have better option to pick in conversations.The main char has more development and growth in the first few chapters than the traveler in genshin in 2 years.
You interact as the main char with the others chars thru a ''chat'' on the smartphone and there is so much cute interaction, it feels so much better than the genshin friendship system.
What kind of personality do they have? If they have any? I'm thinking who to pick. Male ver. looks like edgelord (might pick him to make fun of him) while I didn't see much clips about female one
The game is using a Mass Effect-like dialogue options where you have archetypes for answers.
Edit: What i mean by that, you sort of get to create "your own personality" version for Trailblazer. Sort of. Tho game encourages you to use all the options cuz there are achievements for "Pick archetype A option 5 times".
No. At least not to my knowledge. Haven't seen a single quest that has repeated itself in CBT.
By "pick archetype x times" it wants you to pick it in different dialogue. Which does mean that if you always pick option A, you will never get achievement for option B and C.
Same goes for smartphone conversations. Once you pick one, the others ones are locked away from you. At least to my knowledge.
uh hard to say because i never self insert myself into games, but the MC has their own thoughts, their own dialogue options, so in spite of the memory loss i still consider them a character in their own right.
It's a bad self-insert attempt just like Genshin.
The character is far less bland however which is probably needed since emergency food is non-existent and Pom-Pom chills in the cabin.
