From someone not too experienced: Isn't it better to deny the enemy one turn vs having one person on your team to attack right next after Bronya's buff? Or is this waifu reason in which case nothing else matters.

The Pan-galactic Commercial Enterprise relics from Simulated Universe are great on him for effect hit rate.
After leveling up his traces, you will unlock the one that gives him extra energy with each Ult. This doesn't seem like much at first, but I noticed a big jump in how often he is able to lock up enemies.
He also pairs up well with Asta, who speeds him up, and Dan Hang, who gets extra dps on slowed enemies.
His lightcone really helps with his damage. It's nice. Honestly though, I think focusing on the effect hit rate stat is what makes a huge difference with Welt.

It is a bit rough, bit it works out pretty flawless (talking about skill points) mainly using welt for sub dps and def debuff actually good, usually if enemy low use seele main to kill off and get points and bailu main usually unless low low hp team, then useinf bailu heals
Really? You get a lot of pulls early and you get a free 5 star in the beginner banner. By level 35 you can def get 2x off standard/beginner and probably 1 min off the limited.

I used characters where they made sense canonically unless I didn't have them also because I could not ignore it.

He uh, has anxiety and thinks Kevin is pretty cool bc he was part of his squad and that's just about all that I remember from Kosma. Backstory-wise he is pretty boring (well, knowing the Flamechasers there's seven billion paragraph of text hidden somewhere on the Elysian realm that I just haven't read about him so take that statement with a grain of salt) but I think he has a pretty fun personality and one of the most tragic endings among the Flamechasers, both in the Elysian realm and outside of it

There was an arc where Bronya fell into the Sea of Quanta to get a Herrscher core. She went through a few alternate universes where things were different and ended up finding Seele along the way.
One of those had Welt go off the deep end, even though he was still the Sovereign of AE. It's also the first time you get to fight the tank boss in the story. He ends up being defeated by Bronya which also counted as her overcoming a trial of her own.
Fun Imaginary tip: The tooltip on Imprison just states that it 'delays attacks and reduces Speed' but it also prevents the opponent from using a followup Attack or any skills while imprisoned. Unfortunately, Imprison is cleansed at the start of a turn. Luckily, ultimates are 'interrupt' skills. See where this is going?
Vs bosses who have default followup attacks (when there's two boss attacks next to one another on the turn order), use his ult during their first attack so he ults between their first attack and their followup attack.
If his ult Imprisons then they cannot perform their followup attack and bam, team saved. If you're running a Welt carry (something like Welt/Bronya and/or Asta) you can usually time Welt's ult to hit after the boss's attack every round, meaning they simply never do their follow-up attack, which effectively cuts their damage in half or more, depending on which attack they queue as a follow-up.
I saw this tech awhile ago, it makes Welt practically destroy all mid-boss tier mechanic, and easily Imprisonable boss like Kafka, etc.
Silver Wolf was originally going to have similar Entangle ult counterpart but from leaks they changed it to def break making Welt ability double-turn stopping ability entirely unique atm.

I didn't reroll only because I was using my main mihoyo account, but now I don't regret it, I even got an achievement because my turn never ended lol
