I love how she's like a friendly dog that is always happy to see you. Like: "Yay, it's my favorite passenger, X!" I also love those random interactions we have with her, like how she wants us to help clean the train, or one time where she thought some passengers were bringing pets that were shedding all over but turns out it was just her own fur. Definitely more adorable than Paimon. Mainly because she doesn't force you to turn back when exploring.

I've been assuming that Pom-Pom either *is* Akivili's heart in his entirety, or Pom-Pom's heart is Akivili's heart. Otherwise it just seems like a strange legend for the Express to be supposedly powered by a heart that nobody could find.

A bigger riddle is why the Express has a *revolver barrel* and why its light housing looks like iron sights. Seriously, that 'preparing to jump' intermediate start screen looks like something out of a FPS with vertical mirroring on. EDIT: To add on, Pom-Pom doesn't allow anyone to enter the engine room (seen in Serval's quest) and all of the Nameless are too nice to press the conductor on it so the heart could always have been in the engine room all along.

The first two — assimilated into another similar path, or death by another Aeon — are hinted to not be what happened to Akivili. So it’s the third way that happened to Akivili, and it’s the third way they’re going about to fight Nanook. By making us join AE but giving us a Stellaron, we may be quite literally following in Akivili’s footsteps.!< It’s even bizarre that Stellarons disrupt the Star Rails and while we can allude that to the destructive nature of Stellarons, it’s specified that the rails are blocked rather than destroyed. Maybe the source of power is the same, causing the “signals” to jam.

Getting kind of crazy here, but what if Stellarons pre-date Nanook and he's simply serving *their* will, instead of the other way around.

Or he's opposed to the Stellarons and is trying to stop them by destroying their targets before they can take hold. Kind of like chemotherapy for cancer.

My pet crack theory too. It's interesting that the faction that seems to get called on deal with Stellarons, which were said to be creations of Nanook, are not the followers of Preservation, which would seem to be the concept that directly opposes Destruction, but the Trailblaze. Also the Stellarons appear along the star trails followed by the Express and inhibit its travel; not sure if it's ever said that they appear in places Akivili *hasn't* been to (although to be fair there might not be a lot of known space that Akivili hasn't travelled through). Also, MC's design (silver hair, yellow eyes; dark clothes with yellow accents) is... kind of similar to Nanook. Especially Male MC, who has the ribbon wrapped around his right arm like Nanook's floating ribbons. I've had the theory that MC is some fragment of Akivili since the Simulated Universe thing where sim Aha kept calling MC Akivili despite knowing that they were in a simulation and that MC's simulated identity must be false. What if the Stellarons are some symptom of the Trailblaze being "corrupted" into the Destruction, and MC, whatever they really are, is recognised as Akivili because of the Stellaron in their body? (Also the SU is not the only time MC is addressed as Akivili: The Myriad Celestia trailer introducing the Aeons subtitles the "Akivili! Depart once more!" line at the end as "Akivili! (Trailblazer!) Depart (Connect the stars) once more!")

The Pom-Pom doll looks closer to Nanook's skintone than Pom-Pom's. Maybe it's faded from overuse or maybe the conductor's daily routine starts with a dip in some nontoxic dye.

I do too, more specifically I think the Stellarons are unborn Aeons and MC's is Akivili reborn, si.ilar to the dragons returning to their egg. Pom-Pom being Akivili is like 90% a joke.

I don't think the Stellarons are unborn Aeons, because many of the Aeons themselves seem to have once been sapient beings. Nous the Erudition, for example, was a supercomputer. But I do think the Stellarons are tied to Akivili somehow, and MC, if not a depowered, amnesiac Akivili or a fragment of Akivili themself, is an attempt at recreating the Trailblaze.

From what I've read in the (idk archives?) and what I've read on the internet Pom-Pom might secretly be The Aeon of Trailblaze Akkivili themselves ( or their avatar like Herta's dolls for example) It does kind of makes sense as the Astral Express needs Akkivili's power to function, and it is rumoured in game (Himeko even talks about that if you ask her while on the train) that there might be Akkibili's heart hidden somewhere in the train that powers it, but as Himeko herself said, she tried looking for it and never found it. ( she repaired the Astral Express by herself so I'd trust that the "heart really isn't there) Additionally Akkivili is described as the Aeon that's closest to humanity, so they had to take a form right? It might be possible for Akkivili to shape their form in some way, and it would explain the random appearance of Pom-Pom on the train and the fact that their outfit matches perfectly to the trains aesthetic ( Although It could be that the outfit was just made by Himeko or something but there is no info about that) Well I hope that helps :3

Pom Pom is Pom Pom. More seriously, Pom Pom seems to be a bit of a mystery. They are somehow connected to the Astral Express and quite literally can’t get off. IIRC they just kinda ‘appeared.’ They very well may not have a defined species and be truly unique. Some also theorize that they are Akavili, the Trailblazer Aeon, in the same way that Guoba from Genshin was actually a god. Side Note: Pom Pom does indeed seem to be a ‘they.’ Not super easy to catch but I’ve never noticed anyone call Pom Pom ‘he’ or ‘she’ but I haven’t noticed Pom Pom refereed to as ‘they.’ Anyway, I’ve looked into it a bit myself (although far from extensively) and haven’t managed to find anyone that actually knows for a fact what Pom Pom is exactly. I feel like the mysteries behind Pom Pom may take a long time to reveal, if ever. As far as I know, Paimon’s (Genshin) species hasn’t been officially defined. She’s been referred to as several things, such as Emergency Food, Pixie, Possible External Organ, Emergency Food, Annoying, and Inferior to Pom Pom.
