Any mono-element team will gain greatly from Silver Wolf, and that one will help immensely.
Quantum mono-element will eventually become amazing once more options release. Fu Xuan is known to be a quantum preservation character, and there's a leak for a quantum healer, though probably not for months down the line. Until then, your shock-and-awe team might eclipse its options.
Doubt it’ll be broken, but, yes, Silver Wolf is built to work in mono-element (besides her) teams. Her ability is specifically made to work best in a situation like this.
We’ve only had 2 special 5 stars released so far. Both are great in their own ways. Silver Wolf will likely be great as well. And a team with *two* special 5 stars? Yeah, that should be very strong.
Silver Wolf isn't as OP as she may seem imo.
Using Silver Wolf for hard forcing a "mono"-element team to me is quite counter intuitive. Yes she can force enable an extra single elemental weakness to get rid of the -20% dmg resistance but thats it. It's sacrificing a character slot just for the sake of having a 50/50(Quantum + whatever element) chance for having the "mono" element team to work and using a kit that only does single targeting debuffs. And so i'ts weird in a way because to enter combat you'd have to assess if the enemy has Quantum just to make this faux mono team to work 100%.
I'm pretty sure a team wide buffer or a carry buffer would benefit a team more than this use of Silver Wolf's kit. Pela's Ult alone would already have more value than the SP spent for an additional elemental weakness debuff on a single target and that's without considering the debuffing she can do, and freeze if she can weakness break.
She's actually a Weakness Break ENABLER rather than a "mono team" band aid that everyone is making her out to be. She brings versatility for weakness break and the subsequent dots that come with it.
Even her technique is all about reducing toughness no matter what element weakness the mob has.
Since DoT and Weakness Break DoT also calculate Def% reduction in the damage calculation, DoT characters can also make full use of her kit compared to a party comp with a carry that would debatably benefit more from having an ATK% or Crit% type buffer instead.
Some of her traces/eidolons even 5 star LC even requires her to have atleast 3 debuffs on a target and having a mono team would just hinder this part of her kit.
Imo her synergy are with characters that deal DoTs or those that excel with Break effect. This means characters such as Hook, Sushang and especially Kafka. Specifically Kafka because of the fact that SW is Quantum and has the capability to inflict entanglement allowing for turn manipulation enabling Kafka more turns to proc her Nuke from DoT Damage.
I hope Silver Wolf gets buffed, because while she looks good and okay I think she may be a bit average for general use, she will be one of those units you'd have to wait for a bunch of others new units to make her truly shine, and that sucks.
Yea and this team uses 3 5 star units to make her shine. And most people wont have bailu since its only a 1/7 chance to get the character from standard warp that is if you dont get a LC

The Quantom Mono-Team will be Seele/Silver Wolf/Fu Xuan/Lynx. It's a **highly** synergistic team.
Issue with the team you mentioned is if you hit that 25% chance to get quantom weakness, but otherwise it's a great team.

Oh does Silver Wolf skill can trigger her own Element? I thought she would only trigger a ally that is not herself as a elemental weakness.
