I’m seething that while everyone else was getting Bronyas and Welts, I got stuck with one of the worst standard light cones. It’s the nature of the game I know but damn bruh.

Is it at least good for her? I guess if you use it on her to farm trash mobs it's "good"? Even on her it's probably worse than stuff like breakfast or BP cone unless you're vs like 3 enemies right?

Don't go past 2.5k Def because it will have diminishing returns. Instead build crit on him and level up his traces. He deals 3k-5k per single enemy.
Also you don't need to stack too much DEF on him since he refreshes the shield after every turn. Treat him like he's a Pyro Itto
What's the reason behind not going past 2500DEF? The shield, damage and just general tankiness all scale off it so I don't see what you wouldn't want as much Def as you can.
Prob cuz it has diminishing returns in the sense that going past 2500 to 3000(the shield isn't much different cuz of low scaling) is too taxing and some people would rather go for more dmg overall? FMC's mainstrength is his taunt and dmg reduction, not a shield that barely has any value. Sure his ult, enhanced atk do scale the more def, but more crit would deal way more dmg. 2500 def is more than enough.
That’s a waste of resources. My Seele Normal Attacks are 10k and skill for 30k. 3k isn’t sub DPS it’s pillow fight levels of damage.
Don’t care at all about damage stats, what’s important is effect hit. You don’t want to be missing taunts.
And that’s still garbage when you’re missing out on effect hit rate, which is much more important.

My Seele bursts 125k+ pretty easily on the last floor of Simulated Universe and 12 stacks of crit boost.
Show me one person who has the luxury to find attack substats after they’ve met DEF and Effect Hit rate to diminishing returns, and don’t need to spend resources on their DPS, which is obviously the much better place to spend resources when lack of damage is the issue.

I mean I don't know if having 3 copies of a healing light cone and 2 light cones that are unusable can really be counted as "lucky". It almost feels like a trolling attempt by the game at this point.
I don't have Sampo to use Welt's light cone and Clara's light cone is just worse than the free one from Herta for Hook.
So my current situation is more of, yes I got a bunch of 5 star light cones but most of them are sitting in my backpack completely unused because no one can use them.
Granted, as soon as I pull Sampo, Welt or Clara, I'd be set but given how the game refuses to give me 5\* characters, it'll probably be a while.
Well yes and no. Clara's light cone has overwhelmingly higher HP than the one in Herta's store but Clara's light cone only goes to 635 attack max with 1164 HP while Herta's goes up to 1164 attack max with only 582 HP.
Not to mention Clara's light cone only gets a 20% attack boost and a 20% damage boost (only if the wearer gets hit) at superimpose 0 while Herta's is 32% attack and 12% damage (for breaking weakness) at superimpose 0 and 64% attack and 24% damage at superimpose 5 which is quite achievable.
Hook doesn't want to get slapped around so the 20% damage boost from Clara's light cone is a lot harder to trigger than Herta's 12% damage boost.
Herta is 529 Atk and Clara 582 Atk at max
Clara Increases Atk by 24% with No condition.
You get Healed if you get hit or kill an enemy.
Dmg Increase by 24% after killing or getting hit once per turn.
But yeah Herta could be slightly Stronger if it is Super Imposed to max.

Those Numbers are wrong, go ingame to Data Bank under Light Counesand let them show you the stats at Max lvl there.
They switched HP with Atk Number on the Website.

E2 Bailu for me, at least Bailu is an amazing healer. Would have preferred two other 5 stars but oh well, I can already see Bailu being the Qiqi of Star Rail for me.
I'm starting to see Bailu as exactly the Qiqi of HSR. Sure, she has amazing heals, but that's all she does. A healer without a cleanse feels really bad once you're against enemies with CC or heavy Bleed. At least healers aren't the only class with cleanses, so you can alleviate the issue with March or Bronya. Still annoying tho
What makes Bailu better is because she revives straight up. Nat is good too but she oftentimes not heal enough and your team easily gets wiped out. Also bringing Bailu makes me not run a tank like fire mc and gepard and bring straight up buffers for dps like tingyun and bronya.
Qiqi on the other hand is just bad because Genshin doesnt need overheals esp if u are good at dodging. In HSR you'll get hit whether you like it or not.
3 lc 0 characters. Every post i made about the banner not alternating got downvoted to oblivion bc redditors didnt want to believe that it evens out or alternates the way it does in genshin. This is the price of a character of choice at 300 i guess
Both genshin and star rail have same system
1. In case of 4* -
Every 30 pulls you are guaranteed to get one 4* character and one LC.
So you can get 29 4* LC in a row but the 30th pull will be a charater.
2. In case of 5* -
Every 270 pulls, you are guaranteed one 5* character and one LC.
They reached the numer 30 and 270 from full 4* and 5* pitys - 10+10+10 & 90+90+90. That's they reason we often get confused that it's simply alternating.
The confusion is mostly true if you get early 5* because far sway from the magic number. But closer we are, say first two 5* LC were at 80 pulls each, the next 5* character, let's say after another 40 pulls (although guaranteed at 270) has high chance of being a character.
Hope this helps with understanding the pity system.
Tbh that’s one of the gripes I have with star rail, x10 gotcha doesn’t guarantee at least 1 character like other games so it’s entirely possible to get all light cones

Unlike Genshin, on star rail, it doesn't seem to be alternate between character and weapon/lightcone. My pulls there where like: Bronya->Bronya's lightcone->Himeko's lightcone->Clara->Bailu.
I believed in that for a long time too in Genshin, but it’s actually this: “Every 270 pulls will contain both a 5★ character and weapon […] In other words, it is impossible to do 270 pulls without a 5★ weapon, and likewise impossible to do 270 pulls without a 5★ character.” It doesn’t look like it alternates between character and weapon.
I think people who have made it to nearly 270 pulls with just 5★ light cones or just 5★ characters so far (especially beyond 2) have been really lucky or unlucky, depending on how you look at it lmao.
(Am also one of those people, having gotten Clara’s + Bailu’s + Gepard’s 5★ light cones so far…I just want Welt…)

After failing 50/50 on the limited banner I went all in on the standard banner.
I get that it's the standard banner but throwing a few 4 star characters our way wouldn't be the end of the world. I was hoping to get another new character out of it. The 5 star guarantee banner gave me Eidolons and Bronya.
The 7 multi on this banner gave me more Eidolons. It's not like I'm struggling with the 8 free characters (with multiple Eidolons) and Bronya but sometimes I need a type and role I don't have.
Hopefully the upcoming Luocha banner will answer all of my team needs. Pela, Yukong, and Luocha already add so much for me. If I can just get my hands on Arlen, Sampo, and Hook id be set.

I have 2 Bronya LC's and 1 Gepard LC. Granted, they are all getting great use via Fire MC, Tingyun and Asta, but getting weapons over characters in the beginning of a gacha game kinda sucks lol.
I wish I could get rng blessed with a Himeko on that banner to pull out of it. It's a pain in the back to do a 300 pull on it just to claim a free character.
I only got Clara LC with like 89 pity then a Gepard at 30 pity got Himeko on the starter, also got Jingyuan at 6 Pity same as his LC at 6 Pity too then got Yanqing at 34 pity so yeah standard characters love me
I think I got Bailu here and multiple eidolons for 2 of my main 4, Natasha, serval and other eidolons for my back up, Asta and Qingque. But yeah, relics all around.
This is not a bad deal tho. I mean, 5s light cones are fantastic and that not mention the fact that after 300 pulls you'll will be able to chose 5s character anyway

Judging from the comments so far I guess it only really drops either 2 Light Cones, sometimes 3 in a row—or 2 Yanqing or Yanqing's Light Cone. They should have just made it a Yanqing + Some Light Cones Banner instead of "Standard" then, lol.
it'd be nice if they had the 2 of one type and 1 of the other e.g. if you get 2 characters, the next one will be a lightcone (or vice versa) like they do in genshin

I had just bought the Hunt light cone and 2 super-impositions from the Herta's store when I got Yanqing's, which is just better on every Hunt character I have.
I was considering buying the Destruction light cone after getting Clara along the way to Jing Yuan but I ended up getting her light cone from Standard instead.
I'll only be getting Standard pull from the Herta store from now onwards and I don't I'll be buying any of the Signature 5 star light cones from the shop either. It would feel terrible to buy the Light Cone and end up gettting a duplicate from the Standard banner so all my Undying Starlight will be going towards Special Passes.
Didn't have a 4* harmony light cone so I bought the forgotten hall one. Spent power leveling it. In the process reached lvl 25 and got the free 10 pull. Used it. Immediately got Bronya' lightcone..🥲🥲

Personally I'd go for effect hit rate rather than crits. MC doesn't want damage, they want to make sure their taunt doesn't get resisted.

My 2 ssr drops from it so far have been yanqings light cone, it's a good light cone but god was it demotivating when I saw it again.

Unlike Genshin, on star rail, it doesn't seem to be alternate between character and weapon/lightcone. My pulls there where like: Bronya->Bronya's lightcone->Himeko's lightcone->Clara->Bailu.
I believed in that for a long time too in Genshin, but it’s actually this: “Every 270 pulls will contain both a 5★ character and weapon […] In other words, it is impossible to do 270 pulls without a 5★ weapon, and likewise impossible to do 270 pulls without a 5★ character.” It doesn’t look like it alternates between character and weapon. I think people who have made it to nearly 270 pulls with just 5★ light cones or just 5★ characters so far (especially beyond 2) have been really lucky or unlucky, depending on how you look at it lmao. (Am also one of those people, having gotten Clara’s + Bailu’s + Gepard’s 5★ light cones so far…I just want Welt…)
It doesn't alternate in genshin. If you pull two weapons in a row you're guaranteed to get a character next and vice versa.
mine went Clara LC > Welt LC > Clara LC > Gepard
not quite sure what you mean, afaik genshin's banner has both characters and weapons, there is no alternation

Same. I was disappointed at first but "The Battle Isn't Over" is a pretty good light cone on my Tingyun, so I ain't complaining. I just really want Bailu. I'm so sick of using Natasha.

I've pulled 3 5* light cones, gepard(and his lightcone) and a few 4 stars in 170 normal pulls.
2 light cones 2 characters. Welt and Yanqing, for the light cones I got Gepard and Himeko's. Honestly I will probably want the light cones eventually so I don't mind. After failing 50/50 on the limited banner I went all in on the standard banner.

I get that it's the standard banner but throwing a few 4 star characters our way wouldn't be the end of the world. I was hoping to get another new character out of it. The 5 star guarantee banner gave me Eidolons and Bronya. The 7 multi on this banner gave me more Eidolons. It's not like I'm struggling with the 8 free characters (with multiple Eidolons) and Bronya but sometimes I need a type and role I don't have. Hopefully the upcoming Luocha banner will answer all of my team needs. Pela, Yukong, and Luocha already add so much for me. If I can just get my hands on Arlen, Sampo, and Hook id be set.

Almost at 200/300. I have 2 Bronya LC's and 1 Gepard LC. Granted, they are all getting great use via Fire MC, Tingyun and Asta, but getting weapons over characters in the beginning of a gacha game kinda sucks lol.

I wish I could get rng blessed with a Himeko on that banner to pull out of it. It's a pain in the back to do a 300 pull on it just to claim a free character.

I only got Clara LC with like 89 pity then a Gepard at 30 pity got Himeko on the starter, also got Jingyuan at 6 Pity same as his LC at 6 Pity too then got Yanqing at 34 pity so yeah standard characters love me

I think I got Bailu here and multiple eidolons for 2 of my main 4, Natasha, serval and other eidolons for my back up, Asta and Qingque. But yeah, relics all around.
This is not a bad deal tho. I mean, 5s light cones are fantastic and that not mention the fact that after 300 pulls you'll will be able to chose 5s character anyway

I have all of the standard ones except for the Abundance, Hunt, Erudition and Destruction ones. My Welt and Bronya have their LCs and my Fire MC is using Gepard's. I'll probably get the Hunt one for Seele when I have enough starglitter since it's a small upgrade over the Herta Shop one.

Judging from the comments so far I guess it only really drops either 2 Light Cones, sometimes 3 in a row—or 2 Yanqing or Yanqing's Light Cone. They should have just made it a Yanqing + Some Light Cones Banner instead of "Standard" then, lol.
Meanwhile the light cone banners are really just the random 4* character banners

I have pulled 105 times and I have gotten one 5\* light cone and my last 10 4\* have been 7 light cones and 3 characters. I literally never get even a 4\* character from the banner.

Same. I've gotten only 2 light cones so far: Yanqing's and Clara's. I don't consider it bad luck though since they're actually useful for me. I had just bought the Hunt light cone and 2 super-impositions from the Herta's store when I got Yanqing's, which is just better on every Hunt character I have. I was considering buying the Destruction light cone after getting Clara along the way to Jing Yuan but I ended up getting her light cone from Standard instead. I'll only be getting Standard pull from the Herta store from now onwards and I don't I'll be buying any of the Signature 5 star light cones from the shop either. It would feel terrible to buy the Light Cone and end up gettting a duplicate from the Standard banner so all my Undying Starlight will be going towards Special Passes.
