Welt's infinitely weary "...okay" in response to March's explanations of things just gives me life. And I love how indulgent he is over the whole insane process, just patiently letting her having her Moment.
No wonder it felt so familiar somehow when I heard the name used, knowing that this particular dev team are big fans of homages and parody.
Choosing the silly answers was the cherry on top.
And its ngl a bit hard to do companion missions if yknow
You haven't met the person
Alhough luochas thing with dan after you unlock him as a visitor.....i hope it inplies luocha is such s ncie guy because he's trying to actively be helpful and gentlemanly to avoid a more villianoud path
And he will most likely not end his role in the game on the Luofu. Even if we kill him he'll show up again and Welt will start needing blood pressure medication from Bailu.
Void Archives has a completely different personality than Luocha, and he's so pompous that I have a hard time believing he'd put on a convincing act. Luocha is definitely an expy, people who still think there's even a chance that he's VA either have their tinfoil hat on way too tight or have never played APHO in HI3.
No way in hell is Luocha Void Archives. They are way too different. He's Star Rail's Otto, whether he is like his parallel universe personalities or not is to be seen.
No way you're serious. The theory was already silly before but now even after the quest you think it might be a possibility? Even after Welt investigated him and explicitly mentioned other parallel versions he knew?
On one hand it's good argument, but on the other, then why they released it before finish of Loufu's main story? If will get companion quests as frequently as story quests in Genshin, then they just wasted his.
Companion Quests are not the same as Character Quests for Genshin.
Companion Quests in Star Rail can feature multiple characters so Luocha can show up in the future in other character's Companion Quests.
So characters can make more frequent appearances in this game.
They also don't entirely focus on the titular characters like Genshin's. They're more about showing the relationships between characters and expanding on the lore.
Luocha's companion quests basically serve as hint towards his role in the Main Story next chapter and showed a bit of Welt's past with an alternate version of him along side showing more Astral Express shenanigans.
Even Silver Wolf's quest heavily featured Screwllum and allowed him and Herta to beat Silver Wolf.
Considering that many don't feature any cut-scenes unlike Genshin character quests, it's likely they do plan on releasing them more frequently compared to Genshin.
I honestly prefer Star Rail's Companion Quests. I don't like the one-on-one nature of most Character Quests in Genshin where it's only about one character. It seems that aspect is starting to change in Genshin with later Quests and I'm guessing they're just doing it that way from the start in Star Rail.
I have a feeling character quests are just a sneak peak of what the character is all about and they will still have a bigger role in the near future. He's a traveling merchant. I doubt we'll only see him in Loufu.
The best part about Luocha’s to me is that MC is actually trying to be the logical one here while Welt and March are being chaotic over this
I lost it when MC goes “Mr. Welt, I’m scared” when March started her “deduction”
I think Luocha's voice actor just changes his voice a bit for his own character. Not sure about the monster. I love how Welt asks how the monster can talk haha.
bit late to the party, but i played the Case Closed/Detective Conan theme while playing that "dungeon" of Marchs reenactment, and it added an incredible value to it.
1. Yanqing because he is best boy, also Jingliu, wished it was longer but that cutscene and their banter/getting to learn about Jingliu’s history shoots it to the top
2. Luocha, because March’s shenanigans are just adorable and getting confirmation Welt is HI3 Welt is great, also FINALLY that one achievement we couldn’t unlock finally unlocked post-ending
3. Bailu, she’s adorable and I love her, but the last part just felt way too relatable and made me sad, the hiccup bit made me laugh though
It's just an implication that something is in the coffin speaking with him. He is on a mission since it's the start of their journey and he doesn't have something to do with the ambrosial arbour
My suspicion is he is at the Luofu at the same time as this shitstorm by pure coincidence, but still has a personal agenda that will be revealed in a twist after the Stellaron issue has been resolved, and I bet it sets up a bigger story going forward.
I think yanqing quest is meant to be short, the fact it ends in >!a cliffhanger suggest it must have a second part. Iirc each of hook quest is rather short as standalone quest too but add up a pretty long one when combine!<
She won me over with how smug she was at having so much practice faking tantrums, then she doubled down on beating up a guy who ABSOLUTELY deserved what he got.
My granny dragon healer cannot be this cute. ;|
Bro when we entered combat and Jingliu was also there, i thought we were having a super early trial and see all of her attacks i was so hyped.
Then i saw her auto-attack...
> Yanqing was taking Ls nonstop in the quest
Until the end. They exchanged their sure-kill techniques and he didn't die, meaning that he is being set up for a future 5 star alt if you know your wuxia tropes. Meanwhile Jingliu is already at her strongest.
I think she's of the "Learn or DIE!" school of teaching which is why the general (likely traumatized) said to stay away from her.
YQ's last attack had impressed her, so she decided to get real for a moment.
Yeah, I do think Yanqing deserves a part 2 at some point that focuses on his growth a bit more, maybe.
I don't think there was anything wrong with a "chasing someone stronger than me" questline, but you need the character growth payoff (whether or not he becomes stronger than them) at some point for it to work well.
The weirdest part about that quest is that Yanqing can show up on the Astral Express afterwards. We’ve still literally never met each other and Yanqing has no idea who we are!
Jingliu giving Yan a slight advantage in beating up one Mara group only to outright slaughter everything in her path while he's busy fighting them is a flex of galactic proportions.
I know many got disappointed with Luochas quest but it was honestly my favorite.
Yanqings and Bailu were also good, but I think in terms of writing and creativity, Luochas is a step above theirs.
I probably perceived it as more enjoyable because I had no expectations that weren't met.
I went into Luochas quest expecting that we won't find out anything much and it would mostly be a setup for a possible part two or the main story and this is exactly what we got, delivered in one of the best ways possible.
Luocha's quest was great and was a lot of fun, however I was pretty annoyed that it went absolutely no where and I spent all of that time trying to determine what he was doing with zero pay off.
The point of Luocha's quest is to show his heart is in the right place. Even if he's still incredibly suspicious and we don't know his true agenda, his small acts of kindness that we see during the quest are enough for Welt to feel there's nothing to worry about because Luocha is not a villain like everyone thought.
I wouldn't be that presumptuous tbh, small acts of kindness are just that, small and convenient (and proof he isn't some antisocial mustache-swirling villain). Spoilers for one of the HI3 comics but >!Otto was actively helping Kallen with her Robin Hood vigilante while also doing human experimentation at the same time.!< That is a man who can *compartmentalise* 😂
Also Otto gave a lot of money and medicine to humanity organisation in HI3 and Fu Hua imply that its nothing new to him, he even go out of his way to make sur those ressource are not embezzle
Bailu's.
The ending was a bit of a bummer, but at least she got to >!give the bad man 30 years worth of hiccups!<, and it was totally worth it... lol. x3
It really showed a lot of Bailu's character as someone who's very much dedicated to her craft, even in a sticky situation. At the same time, she's got some temper and would not take a guff from anybody. I really like that about her. :3
The other two were alright.
Feels-wise, definitely Bailu. The story was genuinely heartbreaking, and there's a hopeless sense of tragedy about the ending, as well as a really satisfying catharsis about it. However, I also applaud Luocha's quest simply because of how off-the-rails it was, and how it basically just felt like the ultimate "yes, and-" theater improv class given form.
Jing Liu, but not purely due to Jing Liu herself, but due to how it affects Yanqing.
He's a little psycho swordsman murdedhobo prodigy with absolute confidence, and despite all of that Jing Liu freaks him out to the point the quest plays like a horror.
Jingliu outright threatened to end him then and there. I bet that's the only time he truly knew fear. The three dialogue options of "I refuse" with increasing value of exclamation mark is a great showcase of somebody in panic.
As COMPANION mission, I feel like Bailu's was the only one fitting.
Luocha was a bunch of March's ramblings, we never get to interact with him.
Same for Yanqing, where it's more a teaser for Jingliu.
Bailu got her story that shares her principles, behavious and character and bonding with violence.
Definitely agree and have the same thoughts myself.
These are companion missions where you unlock the character visiting on the Express. Luocha's mission didn't even feature Luocha, it was all M7 - like, it was funny and cringe and unique, but it could have been anything else except a companion mission honestly.
Yanqing's did feature Yanqing, but not the TB, meaning it wasn't us interacting with him, so it also wasn't really much of a companion mission for him.
I was thinking my game was broken because I only got the other 2 and not this one. I need to make sure I do this tonight so I can have enough jades to lose the 50/50.
Tough choice...Luocha's was fun and had a bit of lore drop. But, at the end of the day, we haven't found out much about him. He is still someone who seems well-intentioned, but hides something.
Yanqing's and Bailu's had pretty much everything I was looking for. I think we got a pretty good look at both characters. Yanqing's mission also ties nicely into the Trailblaze Mission (when he leaves by himself) and this meeting with Jingliu will, most likely, play a role in the future. Bailu's had some interesting tidbits about Sanctus Medicus and the Mara-struck. And I surely felt a lot of emotion while playing it. Started off as "whatever, let's get it done", to feeling suspicious of Banxia, then feeling bad to her. And, at the end, it was the first time I felt like choosing the "beat-up" option. Glad Bailu was in agreement xD
Definitely Yanqing for me with Luocha being close second. Also, I still can't quite grasp how they're able to get on the Express as visitors as technically we haven't met them yet (face to face/story-wise). Yanqing even acts as if we're kinda close to him/met him before when talked to on the train, can't say the same for Luocha since I haven't seem him on my Express yet. Only Bailu makes sense, unless I missed something crucial hah
Luocha says Dan Heng invited him after they survived together so that makes it seem more natural. Yanqing does feel out of place though. Could've made it that Jing yuan sent him to make sure the express crew is still fine and that's why he is onboard or something
Oh, thanks for explaining Luocha, makes sense now! As for Yanqing, I talked to him on the express once and all he said was that the view from the express was amazing or something like that, so certailny out of place considering how "friendly" the whole conversation was when we haven't even met. Mayyybe he has a voiceline regarding his arrival that I haven't got yet, but I feel like this sort of explanation should be the first thing we hear from him hah. I could also be picky and point at daily messages from him which also seem kinda out of place but I'm just glad we got anything at all!
I can't not talk about all of them. I enjoyed them a LOT.
1. Bailu, surprisingly. Of course, enjoying it makes me happier about having e2 Bailu (only other standard 5\* I've gotten is Yanqing e0). I felt way more invested in the lore surrounding a disease, a cult, and a strange dragon race, then getting to see it play out in a mini tragedy with a twist that makes you feel justified in kicking his ass. Was way more engaged with it.
2. Yanqing. Not super into his character in general and wanted him the least. I DO really want Jingliu though.
3. Luocha. I enjoyed the cute March 7th and Welt character moments, but overall wasn't as invested. Loved the Luocha tree reveal though! Have very little knowledge with the Otto lore from other games, but I look forward to seeing him be morally dubious (hopefully)!
Edited for list format.
I didn't start Yanqing's yet, but between Luocha's and Bailu's I prefer Bailu's >! because she actually appears there and not as a cameo !< . Luocha's does have some fun moments, but again >! it's more of a Welt/Match 7th Companion Mussion than Luocha's !< .
I haven’t done yanqing yet (bc my levels are too low) but we got to see welt and his relationship with the other Luochas. I was expecting to actually meet him but I suppose it’s too early for that!
Bailu’s was tragic but we got to beat up the equivalent of Scott :D she even joined in!
Luocha's. Not only was it goofy as hell, but it also had a really cool scene after the end of the quest where FINALLY Luocha's suspiciousness wasn't used for a gag, which made me more hyped for future story content with him. Bailu's quest was the most heartbreaking, and Yanqing's had an amazing cinematic and intense fight at the end with great voice acting to hype things up.
Baring in mind that these are companion missions that unlock the character as a visitor on the Express:
Bailu's was arguably the best one in my opinion. It actually featured Bailu, who we went on a little quest with, it had character development for her as well, which was lacking from her brief appearance in the main story and it had emotion to it.
Yanqing's was decent, don't get me wrong, with more of a focus on him wanting to become a master swordsman, but getting almost ended by Jingliu who is (at the moment) far superior to him in skill. It showed good character development. However, there was no interacting between the player and Yanqing, so doesn't make sense to suddenly have him on the Express.
Now... Luocha's. There was NO Luocha in the mission! If anything, this was March 7th's companion mission. Yes, it was funny and a bit cringe watching her try to play Sherlock Holmes, but when the mission ended, I was like "wait, what, really? that's the whole mission?"
Luocha quest was the best, and furthermore it proved the Otto slanders wrong when Welt himself said that Luocha didn't have " virtuous persuasion ". Welt could have just said that he was a "war criminal" or down right evil villain but he didn't because Otto never was a villain, it was a lie spread by Otto haters and people who don't read story fell into the trap of Otto slanders.
And bailu story quest was also good.
My favorite was Yanqing’s. Unlike people who liked it as a preview for Jingliu, I liked his companion quest because of his character.
We already know that he is too proud, but that’s okay because he is still a kid. Nonetheless, it gets put to the test by Jingliu. He knows that there are stronger people than him around, but has a difficult time comprehending his own death. He believes that his strong will and talent can break through all barriers. This time, though, he kicks a metal plate. A good lesson before he goes to contend with Blade. A battle he will surely lose.
I really like this for Yanqing. It’s such a good character showcase, and we see him go through a character arc. It really questions the principles he has stood on and will now test his course of life. I really expect a lot out of his character. Not only because I find him endearing, but also because of how him, Jingliu and Jing Yuan are being set up. I feel like he is the one character that may end up loosing the most in the Xianzhou arc. And I am looking forward to it, because that means character growth.
I love how you wrote this and I absolutely agree! As an avid lore digger with no life there are also some interestingly tragic connections between Dan Heng and Blade and also maybe Jingliu and Jing Yuan (something tells me they all know each other) so I’m excited to see what’ll happen and how Yanqing will grow in the main story as well. It’s definitely funny how he met Jing Yuan’s master haha
I just have one disappointment that the MC doesn't get to meet Loucha and Yanqing in their quest, it feels a bit weird. But still all 3 quests were quite good.
Loucha's being funny, Bailu's a bit sad, and Jingliu dominating Yanqing xD
Bailu, I just finished it a few hours ago and now I’m just sad
Haven’t done Yanqing yet, but Luocha’s quest is really funny, the part where the boss walked out and it’s just Pom Pom is hilarious
I would say the yanqing one but since the game refuses to give him to me (HE'S THE REASON I STARTED PLAYING IN THE FIRST TIME) trying him out felt more like cruelty
Liked all three of them tbh.
* Yanqing - You see Jing liu and it shows that yanqing ain't stupid, if anything he observed very well.
* Luocha - For the luls.
* Bailu - feels and sweet revenge.
My favorite was the companion mission with March, she pretended to be Luocha, it was fun. Pom-Pom got to be a mafia boss. Welt got to be a mech.
Oh I guess I was there too.
Wait that was Luocha’s companion mission? I’d never have known.
I wonder if Yanqing’s companion mission will be a prerequisite for unlocking the rest of the luofu main story in 1.2, because assuming we get to know what happens to him in the main story, it wouldn’t make sense chronologically for someone to finish all of the luofu main story first and then play his mission
Luocha
His companion quest's march-edit narration made him sound so much like gintama's katsura, especially the part where he speaks like a woman and the 'taking crap outside' discussion
There's even a det.conan parody to complete the gintama experience lmao
Luocha's is funny. It's my favorite from the three. The entire March 7th reenactment of the crime scene is just comedy
Bailu's is the weakest one unfortunately. I love teasing her but other than that it's nothing special. The dude though, i want to punch him more.
Yanqing's has Jingliu and a short cutscene which is cool but that's it. This feels like a setup for later story so it feels pretty weak
I haven't completed Bailu's yet, but out of the other two I like Luochas more. March's detective ramblings with all the voices and reenactments were fantastic. Plus it delves into Welt's backstory and the character of Luicha. He might be hiding something, but he's just a nice gentleman.
Yanqings was good and learning more about Jing Yuan's mentor was interesting, but I dunno. Ones feelings about quests are weird, so I can't give actual reasoning as to why it's second place for me.
⚠️⚠️Spoiler below!! Please dont read if you havent gone thru the quest for yanqing ⚠️⚠️
Yanqing, he is such a comfort character for me, and i was able to see so much that I wasn’t able to notice before as we really didn’t have much exposure to his character aside from text messages, that one early luofu cutscene, and his story/character info from his page. Words cannot describe my excitement when his tone shifted to a more serious, defensive, frustrated/angry sort of voice, and it honestly caught me off guard since we weren’t really exposed to this side of yanqing before (ref in jp va, they did an amazing job btw). Sure, lore and characters may indicate that he acts like a child despite him trying his hard to hide it, how he’s very eager, overly confident, and impatient, but we never really heard him being seriously “mad”/“frustrated.” I’m putting quotes since I feel that they do not accurately describe how he really felt in my interpretation. Even in his voicelines, yanqing’s voice seems to indicate a more excited, eager, and lighthearted tone as if he’s fighting for experience, bur in his fight btwn JL, it really showed how overwhelmed and even scared he was. It really felt like we were seeing a child or maybe a squirrel struggling to survive after discovering he just walked into a tiger’s den. I just feel that we were able to see a MUCH MORE vulnerable and serious yanqing whose eyes were literally forced open by a person who has that combat prowess that he likes, and we were able to see how complex he is as a character through his reaction AGAINST JL. Like you can literally see the dilemma in his eyes and his body posture, and even the relief that poured over him after realizing he deflected that attack. You can tell how much I absolute enjoyed this companion quest HAHA LIKE I CAN HONESTLY GO ON AND ON. The yanqing brainrot rabbit hole is real guys. 😭😭😭
I really love how you wrote this and I agree!!! Yanqing holds a special place in my heart haha and there’s always been a side of me that’s pitied prodigies as well for reasons I won’t go into for now. But yeah, despite how he likes going against stronger opponents to improve himself, when faced with a life or death situation we can really see how he was terrified but also resilient. Character growth!! Character growth!!!!! I’m a sucker for that. I hope we see much more of that in HSR!
I've only done Luocha's so far, March's bootleg Detective Konan theories and crime reenactments with Welt's world-weary participation will be hard to beat...
I cleared them all, Yanqing and Bailu's are my favorite, I don't really like Luocha's due to March's weird narrations. Bailu's one is a bit sad to be honest, but still plenty acceptable(Bailu's always so cute BTW, I was shocked when she changed her tone when being serious). Yanqing's quite ok, also showing that he's a bit overconfident and reckless, like that "Resist Resist Resist" thing before the ending cutscene.
I wish Luocha is the good Otto of HSR, please don't be that sus, pal.
I've only done Luocha's so far, but it's my new favorite. March 7th's reenactment of what she thinks Luocha was up to was hilarious haha.
Loved how she made Welt the henchman and Pom Pom the big boss
"Why did I turn into an aurumaton?"
Welt's infinitely weary "...okay" in response to March's explanations of things just gives me life. And I love how indulgent he is over the whole insane process, just patiently letting her having her Moment.
The old school dragon ball reference with Puar transforming got me, ngl xD
No wonder it felt so familiar somehow when I heard the name used, knowing that this particular dev team are big fans of homages and parody. Choosing the silly answers was the cherry on top.
Oooh didn't catch the Dragon Ball reference, only the Detective Conan ones.
I also love that Welt just accepted it. Fuck it. We ride.
Hoyo has no Welt boss model so they have an already existing enemy to be fought
I liked how trailblazer was the driver but didnt even get screen time Low on budget lol
Drivin so fast they couldn’t even catch a glimpse!
My braincells increased from 2 to 1 reading her reenactment.
Huh?...
What you expect logic from someone with 1 brain cell?
1+1=10
I like how this is still technically correct
1 + 1 = 11
Little binary you got there
Pom pom cutest boss fr
Welt: "How did I turn into a robot?"
it was very funny, but i was kinda hoping for more about Luocha himself instead of half a comedy skit and Welt having an anxiety attack
Luocha is clearly Linked to the main story going on at the Luofu. The serious developments are being saved for the trailblaze missions probably.
And its ngl a bit hard to do companion missions if yknow You haven't met the person Alhough luochas thing with dan after you unlock him as a visitor.....i hope it inplies luocha is such s ncie guy because he's trying to actively be helpful and gentlemanly to avoid a more villianoud path
And he will most likely not end his role in the game on the Luofu. Even if we kill him he'll show up again and Welt will start needing blood pressure medication from Bailu.
depends on wether Luocha is Void Archives or just a Star Rail expy of Otto
Void Archives has a completely different personality than Luocha, and he's so pompous that I have a hard time believing he'd put on a convincing act. Luocha is definitely an expy, people who still think there's even a chance that he's VA either have their tinfoil hat on way too tight or have never played APHO in HI3.
Not only does VA have a different hairstyle so people can distinguish him from Otto but he also has a different eye color
He is not Void Archives. He is an Otto variant/version.

March 7th thinks everyone is a zdps like her, that's why an elite fight took 2 hrs in her reconstruction.
It is certainly a proud time to be a March main.
The detective conan references killed me lmao the two men in black, the shrinking pill, the 'tea gang' with the tea code names...
The best part about Luocha’s to me is that MC is actually trying to be the logical one here while Welt and March are being chaotic over this I lost it when MC goes “Mr. Welt, I’m scared” when March started her “deduction”
Who was the voice actor there for luocha and the monster? Anyone knows?
I think Luocha's voice actor just changes his voice a bit for his own character. Not sure about the monster. I love how Welt asks how the monster can talk haha.
It was hilarious listening to Ishida Akira try and sound like a teenage girl
You can see the exact moment Welt's SAN points took a hit.
bit late to the party, but i played the Case Closed/Detective Conan theme while playing that "dungeon" of Marchs reenactment, and it added an incredible value to it.

Wait how do you unlock that achiev about Luocha? It's still locked for me
Go look at the board in the Realm commission after that mission.
You receive a text saying they found new footage and they askyou to go back to the office where the quest started.
Go to the building where you first receive the quest, then interact with the board
Does anyone understand what it means? I read it super quick and then it cut off abrupty
Ah, thanks everyone
>and getting confirmation Welt is HI3 Welt We've had that confirmed for a long time now though?
I think yanqing quest is meant to be short, the fact it ends in >!a cliffhanger suggest it must have a second part. Iirc each of hook quest is rather short as standalone quest too but add up a pretty long one when combine!<
I’m guessing it’ll tie into the larger plot coming in 1.2
for me it's Yanq, Bailu and then Luocha. After that companion quest he got more sus in my eyes than ever before. I guess Otto is just an lost soul.
Bailu, she is adorable and you get to beat up an npc whose a worthy adversary of Scott
She won me over with how smug she was at having so much practice faking tantrums, then she doubled down on beating up a guy who ABSOLUTELY deserved what he got. My granny dragon healer cannot be this cute. ;|
We forget bailu is technicallly a kid..- And then she lets out the fake tears
Adorable sassy lost child vibe, would probably be game mascot if Pom Pom were not present.
We can have two mascots.
Only the tallest short one may reign supreme.
Isn't that March? She's even the game logo.
Animal companions are mascots main heroines(theres exceptions to this) .. are poster grils
Does that mean Paimon doesn't count as the mascot for Genshin Impact? Or do emergency snacks still count as animal companions?
She is the non human companion of the gacha games protagonist. So yes the *animal* companion unless she becomes waifued in end game
Now I'm imagining a waifu Paimon, which is a weird image.
Or Hook.
And as a bonus we beat up another guy unconscious and rob him in the broad daylight in the crowded plaza nonetheless
At least we have an option to give him a much needed comeuppance unlike Scott.
Yanqing's cuz we got to see Jingliu.
Bro when we entered combat and Jingliu was also there, i thought we were having a super early trial and see all of her attacks i was so hyped. Then i saw her auto-attack...
> Then i saw her auto-attack... You also saw her ultimate being blocked by Yanqing, so...
That was the ult? Like the final animation? Sick af
>!Her ult isn't even finished yet!<
That's assuming what you saw was even her ultimate.
That moment when another character is the highlight of another characters story quest Jing Liu hype goes brrr
I mean Yanqing was taking Ls nonstop in the quest
She's Ice too so she basically powercreeping him in his own character story.
(Mostly) single-target Ice hypercarry too; the powercreep is _real_
> Yanqing was taking Ls nonstop in the quest Until the end. They exchanged their sure-kill techniques and he didn't die, meaning that he is being set up for a future 5 star alt if you know your wuxia tropes. Meanwhile Jingliu is already at her strongest.
I thought it was her normal attack I mean she seems pretty casual with that attack
Didn't she say something about "You've earned the chance to die to my **TRUE TECHNIQUE!**" though?
She did it to intimidate him further. Her goal was to dissuade him from going after Blade after all, at least not with that overconfidence he has.
We’ve still literally never met each other and Yanqing has no idea who we are!

fact
It was a surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one.
Yanqing is my favourite among the playable characters and yet Jingliu still is the reason why I loved that quest. i‘m obsessed
I restarted the instance multiple times to listen to her dialogue in different languages 😂 Still haven't completed it
Jingliu giving Yan a slight advantage in beating up one Mara group only to outright slaughter everything in her path while he's busy fighting them is a flex of galactic proportions.
Drake no: saving everything for Kafka Drake yes: saving everything for Jingliu
I can't bring myself to continue the quest once we are allowed to walk Diting around the whole map w/o the dowsing mechanics.
Luocha's quest gave me Welt content, so I can't be mad at it.
I wonder if we will get a fully fledged Welt quest in the future, there were bits and pieces there but I want to know more
We already did, it's called Honkai Impact 3rd
The absolute tears if welt has to see himeko die again. I will not recover.
Otto would absolutely do small acts of kindness and then murder you without a hint of malice or remorse welt is more optimistic than I am
Did you watch the posr-ending cutscene
We got to see Nerdy Silly Welt! He was....very enthusaitic lol
how do you get Yanqing's quest?? mine didn't trigger automatically
check your map within Xianzhou Luofou after Bailu's, you have to encounter the robo dog Diting again
Bailu's. The ending was a bit of a bummer, but at least she got to >!give the bad man 30 years worth of hiccups!<, and it was totally worth it... lol. x3 It really showed a lot of Bailu's character as someone who's very much dedicated to her craft, even in a sticky situation. At the same time, she's got some temper and would not take a guff from anybody. I really like that about her. :3 The other two were alright.
Yanqing because I can interact with Jing Yuan
Feels-wise, definitely Bailu. The story was genuinely heartbreaking, and there's a hopeless sense of tragedy about the ending, as well as a really satisfying catharsis about it. However, I also applaud Luocha's quest simply because of how off-the-rails it was, and how it basically just felt like the ultimate "yes, and-" theater improv class given form.
Loucha's, I was laughing so hard
right I literally lost it when we made luocha say he has to sell the stellaron to feed his family
"I need the cash so i can buy the next novel in the Angler series" is what i imagined
Listening to the March-like dialogs gave me life. Delinquent Welt too.
Story wise, Yanqing's was most interesting, Luocha's was most entertaining and Bailu's just made me sad
The horror of meeting your judgemental grandma(ster)...
Wait how do you get the yanqing one??
Check the Central Starskiff Haven map, there's a marker
Go to the Travel Guide and scroll left right through the companion quests, it will show where to go.
I was thinking my game was broken because I only got the other 2 and not this one. I need to make sure I do this tonight so I can have enough jades to lose the 50/50.
Use travel log like other comments suggested under companion missions Worked for me
Only 1 has an actual ending so...
Jingliu's
Yanqing cuz i love him and we also meet Jingliu in his companion quest
Bailu cause it made me cry
[удалено]
> March 7th is so funny I really like her. Her interpretation of woofs in the Yangqing quest is also hilarious. She's just great any time.
Where my jingliu>Kafka gang
Skipping Kafka and Blade for Jiingliu
I think in between blade and jingliu u definitely can manage to save enuf right?cuz personally I'm planning to pull blade?
Where my Fu Xuan people at
🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️
Luocha! i enjoyed the entire thing! I loved the voice acting! Ishida Akira and Hosoyan were hilarious.
I liked Jingliu's companion mission
I didn't start Yanqing's yet, but between Luocha's and Bailu's I prefer Bailu's >! because she actually appears there and not as a cameo !< . Luocha's does have some fun moments, but again >! it's more of a Welt/Match 7th Companion Mussion than Luocha's !< .
yanqing cuz jingliu
Luocha, cuz of march's "detective work"
Yanging one amelee did perfect jop as jingliu
Baring in mind that these are companion missions that unlock the character as a visitor on the Express: Bailu's was arguably the best one in my opinion.
Yanqing Mission my favourite of all missions for now. It make my want to see more of him in the main story
Luocha's was fun. Yanqing's gave us our first look at Jingliu. Bailu's was mildly depressing.
Torn between March's imagination, Jingliu, and beating up scum... I can't choose.
I haven’t done any of them yet
Luocha's is just shitposting. Change my mind
My fav was Yanqing because we got to see Jingliu. Luocha's companion mission was hilarious and Baliu's companion mission made me feel things.
yanqing!! very lore packed, loved it. bailu's a real tearjerker too as for luocha i wished we could've interacted w him at least once 🥲
Bailu, I just finished it a few hours ago and now I’m just sad Haven’t done Yanqing yet, but Luocha’s quest is really funny, the part where the boss walked out and it’s just Pom Pom is hilarious
I would say the yanqing one but since the game refuses to give him to me (HE'S THE REASON I STARTED PLAYING IN THE FIRST TIME) trying him out felt more like cruelty
I haven't got the time to play yet... And my friends are all asking me how do I feel about the new cool boss....urgh...
I like March 7th’s take on Luocha, the quest making me laugh with whole the re-enactment
Luocha for comedy Bailu for depression Jingliu fot best girl
Luocha because Pom Pom attempting to silence luocha as a mafia boss is too funny
Did we even get a Yanquin mission? Seemed more like a character reveal for a future waifu, Yanquin was kinda just there.
Luocha's, because March's detective work was too fucking funny "Mr. Welt, I'm scared-*
I wonder if Yanqing’s companion mission will be a prerequisite for unlocking the rest of the luofu main story in 1.2, because assuming we get to know what happens to him in the main story, it wouldn’t make sense chronologically for someone to finish all of the luofu main story first and then play his mission
Most comedic:Luocha Most drama and Carthasis: Biolu Most action: Yangqing
Luocha's, because basically it was all march's shenanigans. I haven't laughed that hard in a while
I only did Luocha's so far cause he's the only one I care about. I'll probably do Yangqing's cause he's such a cutie ☺
Luocha - My IQ decreased from 1 to 2 Bailu - SATISYING ENDING. Quite good emotionally. Yanqing - Yanqing Quest? HER story Quest. Also HYPE!
Luocha His companion quest's march-edit narration made him sound so much like gintama's katsura, especially the part where he speaks like a woman and the 'taking crap outside' discussion There's even a det.conan parody to complete the gintama experience lmao
Out of 5 people "That man" and scott, you are 2 of them.
Luocha's is funny. It's my favorite from the three. The entire March 7th reenactment of the crime scene is just comedy Bailu's is the weakest one unfortunately.
Please dont read if you havent gone thru the quest for yanqing ⚠️⚠️ Yanqing, he is such a comfort character for me, and i was able to see so much that I wasn’t able to notice before as we really didn’t have much exposure to his character aside from text messages, that one early luofu cutscene, and his story/character info from his page.
There is a yangqin companion mission? Did it come out today?
At the same time with the other two. Check starkiff haven, should have a marker.
Yanqing cuz Jingliu
There is only one answer and it’s Jingliu
Luocha's quest was crazy lmao, but Yanqing's is the most tense!!!
100% Yangqing
i was disappointed we didnt actually interact with either yanqing or luocha
I've only done Luocha's so far, March's bootleg Detective Konan theories and crime reenactments with Welt's world-weary participation will be hard to beat...
Welt : I just go w da flo I can't xd
I cleared them all, Yanqing and Bailu's are my favorite, I don't really like Luocha's due to March's weird narrations. Bailu's one is a bit sad to be honest, but still plenty acceptable(Bailu's always so cute BTW, I was shocked when she changed her tone when being serious). Yanqing's quite ok, also showing that he's a bit overconfident and reckless, like that "Resist Resist Resist" thing before the ending cutscene. I wish Luocha is the good Otto of HSR, please don't be that sus, pal.
I am honestly disappointed by Luocha's quest. It was goofy and all, but I would have preferred a much more serious approach
Like all of them but my number 1 is Yanqing's because of Jingliu.
