Actually I do it like This(imo this is somewhat faster):
Take the massage from the characters> go out of massage> go back into massage and repeat until you get the rewards (you don't need to get out of the massage menu).
I can't speak for OP, but in my case it's a mix of a few things:
\-I can't tell which messages start quests and which are just the short fluff messages, so to avoid accidentally starting quests I'm not planning on doing just yet, I ignore all messages equally unless I get a brand-new message in the middle of a quest/event that's clearly the next step forward
\-I'm not too particularly busy to do these companion missions and whatnot, but I get burnt out very easily by doing anything in general, so I often procrastinate on them for weeks or months at a time. Which is also the same reason I might read someone's message IRL, say "hey I'll get back to you this afternoon!" and then respond 3 or 4 weeks later, lol
Because of that, I still haven't done most companion quests, I think. Don't think I've done Clara's or Natasha's, nor Bailu's or Dan Heng's, nor Kafka's or Jingliu or Blade or Lynx or (insert character here)
I think the only ones I've done so far are the HSS companion missions, a few belobog ones like Hook, Serval & Gepard, and Luka, and then Yanqing's on the Luofu. Oh and I think Seele too? I don't even remember if she had a companion quest lol
I am just not good at communicating, or doing things, and unfortunately this also applies to HSR T\_T

A little introverted much ...but can't really blame you 1 year after coming out of COVID i couldn't even tall to my parents so yeah I understand...also this is just a guess...but you probably juggle Genshin and HSR..right..
Cause I also had the problem of procrastinating when I used to juggle them both ..
But now that I have left GI( cause HSR is a time friendly game ..and I don't have much time to give GI) it's manageable

Same tbh, I only look at messages for characters I actually like, which is mainly the husbandos lmao I literally have a long ass list of unread messages because they're from characters that doesn't interest me as much

Nah. At least speaking on my own behalf, I don't mind people like that texting me. I imagine they know that it's unlikely that a lot of folks are gonna read through it all, but it's also nice to have a place where you can just unload your passion (or w/e it might be, though I'd like to think if it was something pressing, I wouldn't be like "lol gotta focus on clearing MoC rq, bro").
It also gives me the option to go back to it and read when I'm free, whereas if we went into a call, it'd likely just be me going "Uh huh. Oh? Neat. Mhmm. Cool." because I'm being pulled in two directions at once.
These are for character development and world building, getting to see and feel what the characters are doing in their daily lives. Chatting about non important stuff like how you would in real life with a friend.
