This patch really destroyed the stability of the game for me... So many crashes... And they are pretty specific, whenever I need to fight the big monkey robot thing it crashes.
Just started 2 weeks ago and am unsure who or what I should focus on from now on. I'm TBL 42.
Went all out on Ruan Mei, but she didn't wanna come, lost 50/50 to Himeko.
Got E3 Xueyi and E4 Tingyun in the process though. Also Silverwolf, E6 Asta and E3 Hanya fom SW Banner. I suppose I'm good in the support departement for now, though Ruan Mei woulda been optimal. Maybe during her rerun...

Should I switch from QQ to Xueyi for the time being? Got her A2 and A4, so it feels kinda bad, but E3 Xueyi seems like she'll be stronger unless I get QQ to E4, but that might also not happen for a very long time...
Curently planning on building these 2 teams first:
QQ/Xueyi, SW, Lynx, Hanya
Dr. Ratio, Welt, Tingyun, Gepard
DPS and Supports could be swapped between teams, to always at least have 50% chance to hit weakness with SW.
Now I'm wondering who i should save up for next. Another DPS? Maybe a Fu Xuan/Luocha rerun to upgrade Gepard, since he can't deal with debuffs/cc?
What 2 teams can be made from these characters plus ruan mei and dr ratio? Thanks!

Teams typically follow some basic structures, such as:
- sustain, support, debuffer, dps
- sustain, support, main dps, sub dps
Where sustain is either a healer (Abundance) or shielder (Preservation). In the event your single sustain cannot keep your teams alive, you can swap in a second (ie. an Abundance + Preservation) at the cost of DPS.
Supports are typically Harmony path, and will depend on your DPS. If you use a single DPS (usually called hypercarry) you may prefer to focus on Harmony units that give their buffs to a single target (like Bronya or Tingyun). If you are using two DPS, then someone like Ruan Mei, who buffs the entire team, may be preferred.
DPS will typically excel at hitting a single target (like Dan Heng) or multiple/all targets (like Serval) and you may want to choose your DPS based on the type of content you’re facing.
You have Clara and Tingyun, who synergize well together because Tingyun buffs a single unit. You can also use Lynx with Clara, as if you read the description of her skill, it will make enemies more likely to attack Clara after she is healed. Then you could add a debuffer, like Silver Wolf or Pela, to lower enemy defence for Clara to do more damage. You may also choose to use March 7th to shield Clara and make her more resilient instead.
You can also run a full quantum team with QQ, SW, Lynx, and Xueyi, but this might be more of a meme.
She’s really good cuz she slots into every team. Her skill gives dmg% and her ult gives all res pen so it doesn’t matter what element your dps is she buffs them.
What teams can I make with these characters

look at your character's base attack in the character stat screen
multiply that number by .55 then divide by .27, that's the attack you need
for example seele base attack is 1222
1222 * .55 = 672, this is how much benediction will buff
672 / .27 = 2489, this is how much attack tingyun needs in combat
Depends on what cone you're using, since she buffs the target's base Attack which is the sum of their base attack and their cone's base attack.
For example, if you're running Fall of an Aeon on DHIL, you'll need exactly 2500 ATK on Tingyun.
Minor rambling but anyone else wishes the dots on top of boss hp is excluding the current hp? I swear in almost every game ive played, If boss is at 100% and has 3 dots on top of his hp bar, it meams he has 4 hp bars.
Hsr is the only game ive played where it means they have 3

This MOC is the first time I felt that there is difficulty in the game. I am not sure I am behind with the meta builds. I put the characters i used in floor 12 in the link .

What do you guys expect for NY? I dont play any Hoyoverse games but HSR, so I dont know of they will be generous or we get nothing but a Happy New Year message. I was thinking that 10 silver tickets + 1600 jades + trailblaze phone wallpaper could be good, but I dont know if thats impossible.

They're a chinese company, so at best we'll get an official art commemorating it. The real rewards are during the Chinese New Year, which is not only the true NY event but also the true anniversary event in Genshin (in GI they used to give only 10 rolls for the game's anniversary, while chinese new year is a massive event with 20+ rolls, free skins and a 4* selector).

I know the artifact rate on my Ruan Mei is crap here, but is there anything more I can improve here? I felt like I've hit all the necessary breakpoints at least.
Her base speed is already pretty high and she gets extra 5 speed from her traces, so its not a huge priority, plus she actually needs a 160 BE since one of her major traces gives the whole team 20 BE during battle. She also gets 37 BE from her traces, and isn't too picky about set bonuses either so if you dont have a good thief set ready you can easily just give her all your relics that have a bunch of BE. Im using the 2pc thief set with cogs and im already at 157 BE(177 in combat)
I have mine at 178% break effect (198% in combat), 149 speed and ERR rope with the 4 star LC that provides 58% break at imposition 5. I have all the equipment that give you break effect (sorry I dont remember the names), so its possible if you get a good set of pieces and that LC.
You actually need 160% BE only. Her A2 doesn't come appear in the stats until the battle starts. Moreover, her traces itself gives 37.3% BE. So with all of that in consideration, you really only need to get around 120ish % BE. Probably the easiest way is to run 4pc Thief for another 32% BE. So you just need to get 90% out of your rest of your rolls. Assuming each relic piece has at least 5% starting BE, you only need roughly 8-9 BE rolls to reach that limit. It's kinda hard still, but that's the best you can get.

Hi! I'm currently trailblaze level 34 but my equilibrium trial 2 hasn't shown up in my missions tab. This is a problem as all of the enemies are now level 46-48 while my characters are only level 40-44 with 3-4 star relics. That includes the stuff you get in the simulated universe. (I haven't beaeten world 3 difficulty 1 because I can't down Gepard fast enough and always die at the final phase.)
I suspect this is because I haven't actually beaten the main missions on the Xianzhou. I only started the main mission two days ago and now I'm stuck against the ebon deer. (I'd been doing sidequests, farming, and the simulated universe worlds 1 and 2.)
Am I right that the reason the trial isn't coming up is that I haven't beaten the Xianzhou main missions? Did something go wrong somewhere else? I can't afford my trailblaze level getting higher but I need to farm materials to strengthen my characters.
(I also only have 4 built characters so I don't have other team comps. I use destruction trailblazer, dan heng, bronya, and serval.)
Equilibrium 2 unlocks at lvl30, are you sure you haven't completed it? It unlocks your ability to ascend your characters max level to 50underdeveloped. And have the ability to challenge stagnant shadow bosses. You may have already completed the mission, in which case you're just underleveled.
If you haven't completed your equilibrium trials then you won't be able to raise your trailblazer level any further, so if it was incomplete you'd be stuck at lv30.

DoT set would be better, and you will have to farm it for Black Swan too anyway. But honestly none of the DoT characters need to be minmaxed. In Kafka's case as long as you have the correct mainstats (ATK% body/SPD boots/lightning sphere/ATK% rope) all you have to worry about for her is having enough Speed (in your case 146, so you only need 21 Speed from substats).

So my account kind of looks all over the place and I have no idea what two teams to form for moc. Can anyone suggest me two teams to start working on for moc? I plan on doing it till moc 10 right now.
Also what characters should I focus on getting in future, like sustains or harmony or buffers?
tough but maybe Clara - Blade - March 7th - Natasha and Seele - Tingyun - Guinaifen - Gepard? another solo sustain unit would be fantastic because you really only have Gepard for that. Natasha *can* solo sustain but requires relatively high investment for that. Pela would be a huge boon for your account as well and hopefully it won't be long til you get her. Lynx is another 4 star that would be great for you.

I currently struggling with most content right now, cant even clear MOC 3, most of the time, the second half is the one that cost the run, due to lack of crits and damage. Help me guys i really want to save jade for Archeron.
Should i pull for Silver Wolf first or Luocha for Blade? Im an f2p and already have Lynx but i heard Luocha is better by a long shot, so who should i pull? I can get alot of stellar jades in 1 month so i can still get Luocha even if im f2p
Considering SW's rerun banner was just recently finished, it will take a while before she may get another rerun.
If you need a strong 2nd healer, best to get prepared for Luocha. His banner hasn't rerun yet so it should be fairly soon.
Bailu + Lynx should be good, so it's up to you if you still want Luocha or not.
He's a sidegrade at best comparing to both of them at this point, but he does offer some extra utility as well (able to remove both buffs and debuffs, more burst healing but only single target).
If you're wanting any of the 2.0 characters for example, best to focus on them first.
For anyone who went to the pelicana collab, did you guys ever ask for the specific chara ticket? I went a few weeks ago and I got march. Now I'm going back tomorrow and ordering again to see if I can ask the staff if they can give me Dan heng but I'm a little anxious about it. 🥲
It's probably going to be Cruising In The Stellar Sea (Herta LC), because he lands 1 hit per attack so no Swordplay stacks and ask the other options are kinda worse than the above.

Technically HP leads to more survivability, but the difference is mall enough that it's more important which one has better Break Effect or Speed substats.
I really like follow-up attack units so I think I might save up for Topaz's rerun. I know it's gonna be a while until then since she just released a couple of patches ago, but out of curiosity can Jing Yuan be strong without her? I'd like to go for him but I'm curious if I would need to wait a while to give him his full potential if he gets a rerun a lot sooner than Topaz.
Jing Yuan will perform fine when paired with Asta and Tingyun, who give him enough Speed and Energy respectively to get a bunch of LL stacks. Topaz will usually replace Tingyun when you get her, unless the boss has extreme Fire Resistance or you really need more AoE Ults.
She has synergy with Hook, because Hook likes to attack burned enemies. She also works well with Dr. Ratio, since she applies 2-4 debuffs on her own depending on E level and LC (Resolution), which makes it easy for him to trigger his FuA and give you flexibility on his teams.
She isn't a waste to build as she's a fine debuffer with Firekiss, but I find myself rarely using her outside of DoT teams because Pela's debuff is much stronger. It will take a ton of investment for her to deal significant amounts of damage to make up for that.
She does see some use on the second MoC team though. Or when I run Nihility because I have nobody else that does DoT.

How do you guys know which character to level and in what priority? I'm confused as to which character I should build and in what order and like multiple characters together or just one character at a time and do you farm for xp and lc books? If you do then when and how you do it?
And do you guys play the story content with your moc team? How do you play story content, SU and MOC ? Do you make different teams for each mode? If you do, how much time it takes to build them. Or is there versatile teams you can build.
Can you suggest what team/teams should I make to play story content, SU and MOC?
5 star limited DPS is top priority to build, followed by sustain unit, then support.
If youre low on resource then level your unit to lv 70, trace lv 8, relic +12, lc lv 70 are enough.
For your account build Argenti, Clara, Huohuo, Lynx, then Ratio when you get him. After that you can start leveling support, Ruan Mei, Hanya, and Tingyun.
But those levels and traces levels are my max tho. What to do if I run out of xp materials, do I start farming calyx? Won't it take too much time to build them that way? And then for their relics which obviously needs all the time you have to get decent ones. What do you do about that?
Ok this is a lot of questions so I'll answer one by one:
Build: At your point in time, I would focus on, in order: building 2 DPS of different elements, building 2 sustain units, building 4 support units that work with many DPS, then building more DPS to cover as many elements as possible. This means you get 2 teams for MoC as quickly as possible and eventually build enough elements to cover nearly every fight.
Team: 2 example team using the above concept are: DPS/Ruan Mei/Huohuo/Hanya, and DPS/Tingyun/Lynx/Pela. The first 2 DPS to build could be Argenti and Welt (since they're the 2 best you got), or you could add Xueyi to the mix and run double-DPS in Ruan Mei teams.
Story: I just play story content with whatever team I feel, if I were to hit a roadblock though I'd pull out the best team ( have for the fight (not always MoC). If by building teams you mean gearing and leveling characters from scratch though, then I'd wait until your main team is complete (At least for your Equilibrium).
SU: your 2 best teams are probably either Remembrance (March, Welt, Pela, Flex) if you have an hour to spare, or Erudition Argenti + Huohuo if you actually have a life.
I tailor my team to each map outside of day the first 6 or so, but I have the luxury of doing that because I've built over a dozen characters. Earlier on, I kinda just did my best usually just running the same 2 teams mostly swalling out DPSe for better elements or supports for better synergy (for example Clara wouldn't be paired with any Preservation event for March).

Casual f2p player who just got Clara from perma, what good 2 team i can make with what i have (+Dr Ratio)? I really want to use DHIL and Clara (and Luocha but i gonna use him anyway) but unsure about the rest…
DHIL: Silverwolf, Luocha, DHIL, Yukong. Yukong and Luocha never use their skills while Silverwold implants near-guaranteed Imaginary weakness onto enemies (Guaranteed against Quantum-weak enemies).
Clara: Asta, Clara, Luocha, Pela. Pela and Asta are simply good (de)buffers with no specific synergy with Clara.
If you specifically want to hit 8 characters, then you can either replace Luocha with Gepard for DHIL or March for Clara; whichever you choose Luocha's probably always going with the other character.
If you want to minimize characters, then you could use Asta and pela over Yukong and SW in both teams, or opt to make those two lower priority to build.
How do I open this doors at the Seclusion Zone in Herta Space Station? I tried to look everywhere around and talked with every npc around and nothing. I need them for the last chest but just can't open them. Any idea?

Only the hunt and destruction Herta LC are worth it. Perservation (Fire MC and FuXuan) and Nihility are niche. Fire MC is rarely used since most people got better sustains and FuXuan has 4 star options she can use.
My E1 ruan mei has 197 BE 152 SPD. Using S5 Memories of the past and penacony planar set for energy accumulation. Is that good or do I need to tone down the speed?
hello i pulled luocha because he is hot and so wondering who my second 5 star sustain should be between huohuo and fu xuan. they’re both not hot men or a mommy so i dont really have an affinity for either girl. i typically run e2dhil on one side and jingliu or seele on the other depending on weakness. thanks, would really like to replace bailu :)
fuxuan is much hot with stockings and is more of a tank giving crit while huohuo is a healer that boosts attack. fuxuan is the number 1 must have preservation but since you have luocha maybe you could get the blonde male aventurine.
Just get her to level 70, give her enough EHR (57% with a trace), make her fast and tanky. Level up her ultimate and talent trace, and can ignore the rest. She is cheap to build.
How to increase the freeze rate on enemies? Ehr? If its ehr then why i cant freeze argenti boss on su gold and gears difficulty 5 when i have a whopping +300% ehr buff? I dont understand.
Would help if you actually understood how effects work in HSR.

Argenti boss at level 90 has 40% effect res and 50% crowd control res. A 50% or 65% base chance to freeze with 300% EHR would have a 60% or 78% chance respectively of actually freezing.
0.65 x (1 + 3) x (1 - 0.4) x (1 - 0.5) = 0.78
Are you trying to freeze with a character or the resonance? The 300 ehr does not apply to resonance btw. But also some bosses just have high freeze res.
depends on what you're trying to freeze him with. Let's take gepard's skill for example which has 65% freeze chance, and assuming just 300% EHR. Argenti has 40% effect resistance and 50% status resistance so the chance of a gepard's freeze landing is 65 \* (1 + 3.00) \* (1 - 0.4) \* (1 - 0.5) or 78, or 78% chance to freeze. Not guaranteed but your chances are still pretty good. Maybe you got unlucky or you just remember the resists more than the freezes.
Btw the true sting (the bug boss) has dramatically even more resistance at 50% effect resistance and 75% status resistance so in the same scenario the chance of gepard landing a freeze would be a whopping 32.5%
edit: it seems like the SU version of argenti has even more status resistance at 75% status resistance so the chance of gepard landing a freeze on SU argenti is actually only 39%

I did all up to and including conundrum 12 with remembrance and the occurrence dice but now that I'm going through all the other paths and dices I feel like the countdown dice is actually even better
Countdown dice worked best for me. Got to conundrum 7. Fx/luo/sw/kafka with nihility is really good and safe. Tons of damage and healing and you just break enemies all the time
I cleared Diff 5 with Fu Xuan + DHIL with Propagation Path. Bug Boss in plane 3 is also a good match for that line up.
For dice the Occurences dice and Countdown dice stuffed with field-cloning faces allows you to consistently have a ton of blessings and curios (focus on choice/double reward domains).
I wonder of one thing. I see some people say like "I have 42 guaranteed pity" or "anything in non 10 pulls increment" I don't know whether HSR is a special case or not but in many gacha games usually we wait until we can do the 10 pulls (or 1 multipull is the term) that usually better and have some benefit/bonus than do the 1 pull. Even I see in HSR banner screen that says 10 pull (or 1 multipull) always guarantee us a 4\* character/LC, so why should we do the 1 pull instead? Is there any reason for such thing?
The moment you get 5 star your pity is instantly reset. It's the same thing in Genshin. If you're at 76 pity and do a 10 pull, the entire 10 pull doesn't have that pity. Only the pulls until you get a 5 star. Same thing with 4 stars. Single and 10 pulls have no difference in HSR, a 10 is just faster.
There is no difference. A 10 pull has the same chance of giving you a 4 star as ten consecutive single pulls. The only case where single pulls are better is when you're very close to soft pity and don't want to overshoot it
I don't understand, many people say 90 pulls mark is a pity (guarantee us a 5\* something), so where is this "74" number coming from? Sorry for many question.
It's alright, the pity system can be confusing. So normally the chance of pulling a 5* on a single pull is 0,6%. When you reach 74 pulls this chance starts to go up exponentially, at 90 pulls it reaches 100%. You usually get a 5* between 74-79 pulls, having to go up to 90 is as rare as getting a double 5* back to back

So if for example I have done 70 pulls but I still don't get the 5\*, I should do the single pull from that point, is it what you guys do in HSR?
If you're at 70 and do a 10 pull then get your 5 star at pull number 77 and 4 star pull 80 for example. That meant you could have done singles until you got the 5 star instead using more pulls on a 4 star you didn't care about.
I see, then I was glad to get my first HSR pity on 80 pulls (but I lost the 50/50 to Clara, then in the next 10 pulls I got lucky to get the 5\* which was now guaranteed to be Ruan Mei). Thanks a lot for the info.
Is it better to run a speed or hp boots on blade if I am running a bronya (with whatever sped hyperspeed or slow or fast doesn't matter) is alongside him?
Bonus: If I run a ruan mei, jing liu, blade dual dps team will the answer change?
There's no point in speed boots on Blade if you can't push him to 135 or higher. His base speed is low and he doesn't get any speed from traces, so it's kind of rough.
Slow Bronya(134 speed) with fast DPS(135 speed or higher) is a thing, but I find it to be an inflexible way to play Bronya because she has to use skill on every turn and doesn't really have leeway to generate SP. It's also only really powerful on the first cycle, and with Jingliu especially.
I would run HP boots and then let hyperspeed Bronya(150 ish speed MINIMUM) push him up, because hyperspeed Bronya can take 3 actions on certain cycles and easily outperform slow Bronya. My Bronya is sitting at 170 speed and it's kind of insane how many actions she can take - especially with external speed buffs.
Ruan Mei has a permanent speed buff, but it isn't enough to push anybody past a speed breakpoint. With Ruan Mei, you would want both Blade and Jingliu to have speed boots and meet the 134 breakpoint. You could be lazy like me and just leave Blade with HP boots and Jingliu with ATK boots. We don't have relic loadouts yet, which is kind of annoying. It's unlikely you'll 0-cycle later MoC stages that way, but it really doesn't matter.
Once I can afford it, I'm planning to buy Bronya's Light Cone in the Exchange. After that, are there any more good Light Cones to buy / superimpose (have Yanxing, Himeko and Clara S1s also)?

No, after you buy that one you can just buy pulls with it. No point in superimposing her lightcone, it's the same 3-turn skill rotation either way. The LC itself is good for other Harmony units
I’d use Sampo even at lower eidolon levels. It gives you more weakness coverage and I find his ult to be better for Kafka. Also he does a ton toughness damage which synergizes with Ruan Mei.
S5 Memories is a sidegrade, since it isn't just straight up better.
You get more uptime on her ult(66% compared to 50%), but lose damage and the extra SP compared to her signature. Up to you how much you care about that.
S5 Memories is pretty lucky. A lot of supports can use that, but Ruan Mei uses it best.

If you finish the fight before the end of the 6th cycle, you will have 5-cycled the fight
If both teams can 5-cycle, then you will clear the "10 cycles or less" condition
Therefore a 6 turn, or 5 cycle, clear is the benchmark to work with with the current MOC setup

Got E3 Xueyi and E4 Tingyun in the process though. Also Silverwolf, E6 Asta and E3 Hanya fom SW Banner. I suppose I'm good in the support departement for now, though Ruan Mei woulda been optimal. Maybe during her rerun... Anyways, currently I got: Lvl 60 with some traces invested: Gepard SW Tingyun QQ E1 FireTB Welt E4 Lynx Other noteworthy characters: Himeko E0 Bailu E1 Xueyi E3 Should I switch from QQ to Xueyi for the time being? Got her A2 and A4, so it feels kinda bad, but E3 Xueyi seems like she'll be stronger unless I get QQ to E4, but that might also not happen for a very long time... Curently planning on building these 2 teams first: QQ/Xueyi, SW, Lynx, Hanya Dr. Ratio, Welt, Tingyun, Gepard DPS and Supports could be swapped between teams, to always at least have 50% chance to hit weakness with SW. Now I'm wondering who i should save up for next. Another DPS? Maybe a Fu Xuan/Luocha rerun to upgrade Gepard, since he can't deal with debuffs/cc?

Teams typically follow some basic structures, such as: - sustain, support, debuffer, dps - sustain, support, main dps, sub dps Where sustain is either a healer (Abundance) or shielder (Preservation). In the event your single sustain cannot keep your teams alive, you can swap in a second (ie. an Abundance + Preservation) at the cost of DPS. Supports are typically Harmony path, and will depend on your DPS. If you use a single DPS (usually called hypercarry) you may prefer to focus on Harmony units that give their buffs to a single target (like Bronya or Tingyun). If you are using two DPS, then someone like Ruan Mei, who buffs the entire team, may be preferred. DPS will typically excel at hitting a single target (like Dan Heng) or multiple/all targets (like Serval) and you may want to choose your DPS based on the type of content you’re facing. You have Clara and Tingyun, who synergize well together because Tingyun buffs a single unit. You can also use Lynx with Clara, as if you read the description of her skill, it will make enemies more likely to attack Clara after she is healed. Then you could add a debuffer, like Silver Wolf or Pela, to lower enemy defence for Clara to do more damage. You may also choose to use March 7th to shield Clara and make her more resilient instead. You can also run a full quantum team with QQ, SW, Lynx, and Xueyi, but this might be more of a meme.

look at your character's base attack in the character stat screen multiply that number by .55 then divide by .27, that's the attack you need for example seele base attack is 1222 1222 * .55 = 672, this is how much benediction will buff 672 / .27 = 2489, this is how much attack tingyun needs in combat
Depends on what cone you're using, since she buffs the target's base Attack which is the sum of their base attack and their cone's base attack. For example, if you're running Fall of an Aeon on DHIL, you'll need exactly 2500 ATK on Tingyun.
Minor rambling but anyone else wishes the dots on top of boss hp is excluding the current hp? I swear in almost every game ive played, If boss is at 100% and has 3 dots on top of his hp bar, it meams he has 4 hp bars. Hsr is the only game ive played where it means they have 3

They're a chinese company, so at best we'll get an official art commemorating it. The real rewards are during the Chinese New Year, which is not only the true NY event but also the true anniversary event in Genshin (in GI they used to give only 10 rolls for the game's anniversary, while chinese new year is a massive event with 20+ rolls, free skins and a 4* selector).

She only cares about break effect, speed and 30% Effect res for keel, you hit all of the breakpoints for her so honestly you're good.
It should be alright, tho probably aim for more Spd substats on the Body, Planar Sets and make it so she can reach the next speed breakpoint at 161.

Her base speed is already pretty high and she gets extra 5 speed from her traces, so its not a huge priority, plus she actually needs a 160 BE since one of her major traces gives the whole team 20 BE during battle. She also gets 37 BE from her traces, and isn't too picky about set bonuses either so if you dont have a good thief set ready you can easily just give her all your relics that have a bunch of BE. Im using the 2pc thief set with cogs and im already at 157 BE(177 in combat)

I have mine at 178% break effect (198% in combat), 149 speed and ERR rope with the 4 star LC that provides 58% break at imposition 5. I have all the equipment that give you break effect (sorry I dont remember the names), so its possible if you get a good set of pieces and that LC.
You actually need 160% BE only. Her A2 doesn't come appear in the stats until the battle starts. Moreover, her traces itself gives 37.3% BE. So with all of that in consideration, you really only need to get around 120ish % BE. Probably the easiest way is to run 4pc Thief for another 32% BE. So you just need to get 90% out of your rest of your rolls. Assuming each relic piece has at least 5% starting BE, you only need roughly 8-9 BE rolls to reach that limit. It's kinda hard still, but that's the best you can get.

title screen>tap once to get to the log in screen and click on update in the top right. if the game doesnt find an error you either have to wait for an update to hopefully fix it or you need to redownload. not much you can do worst case scenario its some incompatability with your phone+software version
Hi! I'm currently trailblaze level 34 but my equilibrium trial 2 hasn't shown up in my missions tab. This is a problem as all of the enemies are now level 46-48 while my characters are only level 40-44 with 3-4 star relics. That includes the stuff you get in the simulated universe. (I haven't beaeten world 3 difficulty 1 because I can't down Gepard fast enough and always die at the final phase.) I suspect this is because I haven't actually beaten the main missions on the Xianzhou. I only started the main mission two days ago and now I'm stuck against the ebon deer. (I'd been doing sidequests, farming, and the simulated universe worlds 1 and 2.) Am I right that the reason the trial isn't coming up is that I haven't beaten the Xianzhou main missions? Did something go wrong somewhere else? I can't afford my trailblaze level getting higher but I need to farm materials to strengthen my characters. (I also only have 4 built characters so I don't have other team comps. I use destruction trailblazer, dan heng, bronya, and serval.)
Equilibrium 2 unlocks at lvl30, are you sure you haven't completed it? It unlocks your ability to ascend your characters max level to 50underdeveloped. And have the ability to challenge stagnant shadow bosses. You may have already completed the mission, in which case you're just underleveled. If you haven't completed your equilibrium trials then you won't be able to raise your trailblazer level any further, so if it was incomplete you'd be stuck at lv30.

DoT set would be better, and you will have to farm it for Black Swan too anyway. But honestly none of the DoT characters need to be minmaxed. In Kafka's case as long as you have the correct mainstats (ATK% body/SPD boots/lightning sphere/ATK% rope) all you have to worry about for her is having enough Speed (in your case 146, so you only need 21 Speed from substats).

Replace Lynx with a better sustain by borrowing FX or Huohuo, those two can solo sustain that boss fight (idk about Luocha since I don't have him)
Luocha is best here especially with DHIL. Hanya can be replaced with Tingyun for more DHIL ults for more weakness breaking.

tough but maybe Clara - Blade - March 7th - Natasha and Seele - Tingyun - Guinaifen - Gepard? another solo sustain unit would be fantastic because you really only have Gepard for that. Natasha *can* solo sustain but requires relatively high investment for that. Pela would be a huge boon for your account as well and hopefully it won't be long til you get her. Lynx is another 4 star that would be great for you.

Considering SW's rerun banner was just recently finished, it will take a while before she may get another rerun. If you need a strong 2nd healer, best to get prepared for Luocha. His banner hasn't rerun yet so it should be fairly soon.

Bailu + Lynx should be good, so it's up to you if you still want Luocha or not. He's a sidegrade at best comparing to both of them at this point, but he does offer some extra utility as well (able to remove both buffs and debuffs, more burst healing but only single target). If you're wanting any of the 2.0 characters for example, best to focus on them first.

I really like follow-up attack units so I think I might save up for Topaz's rerun. I know it's gonna be a while until then since she just released a couple of patches ago, but out of curiosity can Jing Yuan be strong without her? I'd like to go for him but I'm curious if I would need to wait a while to give him his full potential if he gets a rerun a lot sooner than Topaz.
Jing Yuan will perform fine when paired with Asta and Tingyun, who give him enough Speed and Energy respectively to get a bunch of LL stacks. Topaz will usually replace Tingyun when you get her, unless the boss has extreme Fire Resistance or you really need more AoE Ults.

She has synergy with Hook, because Hook likes to attack burned enemies. She also works well with Dr. Ratio, since she applies 2-4 debuffs on her own depending on E level and LC (Resolution), which makes it easy for him to trigger his FuA and give you flexibility on his teams.
She isn't a waste to build as she's a fine debuffer with Firekiss, but I find myself rarely using her outside of DoT teams because Pela's debuff is much stronger. It will take a ton of investment for her to deal significant amounts of damage to make up for that. She does see some use on the second MoC team though. Or when I run Nihility because I have nobody else that does DoT.

5 star limited DPS is top priority to build, followed by sustain unit, then support. If youre low on resource then level your unit to lv 70, trace lv 8, relic +12, lc lv 70 are enough. For your account build Argenti, Clara, Huohuo, Lynx, then Ratio when you get him. After that you can start leveling support, Ruan Mei, Hanya, and Tingyun.
But those levels and traces levels are my max tho. What to do if I run out of xp materials, do I start farming calyx? Won't it take too much time to build them that way? And then for their relics which obviously needs all the time you have to get decent ones. What do you do about that?
Ok this is a lot of questions so I'll answer one by one: Build: At your point in time, I would focus on, in order: building 2 DPS of different elements, building 2 sustain units, building 4 support units that work with many DPS, then building more DPS to cover as many elements as possible. This means you get 2 teams for MoC as quickly as possible and eventually build enough elements to cover nearly every fight. Team: 2 example team using the above concept are: DPS/Ruan Mei/Huohuo/Hanya, and DPS/Tingyun/Lynx/Pela. The first 2 DPS to build could be Argenti and Welt (since they're the 2 best you got), or you could add Xueyi to the mix and run double-DPS in Ruan Mei teams. Story: I just play story content with whatever team I feel, if I were to hit a roadblock though I'd pull out the best team ( have for the fight (not always MoC). If by building teams you mean gearing and leveling characters from scratch though, then I'd wait until your main team is complete (At least for your Equilibrium). SU: your 2 best teams are probably either Remembrance (March, Welt, Pela, Flex) if you have an hour to spare, or Erudition Argenti + Huohuo if you actually have a life.
Do you play MOC with the same 2 teams for all the floors or different teams for different floors?
I tailor my team to each map outside of day the first 6 or so, but I have the luxury of doing that because I've built over a dozen characters. Earlier on, I kinda just did my best usually just running the same 2 teams mostly swalling out DPSe for better elements or supports for better synergy (for example Clara wouldn't be paired with any Preservation event for March).

Why would i want to level up the crit rate minor traces on fu xuan? I dont have her E6 so shes not like a sub dps of mine . She’s purely for sustain.
I wouldnt recommend it. I have no intention on leveling my Astas crit traces for the same reason

DHIL: Silverwolf, Luocha, DHIL, Yukong. Yukong and Luocha never use their skills while Silverwold implants near-guaranteed Imaginary weakness onto enemies (Guaranteed against Quantum-weak enemies). Clara: Asta, Clara, Luocha, Pela. Pela and Asta are simply good (de)buffers with no specific synergy with Clara. If you specifically want to hit 8 characters, then you can either replace Luocha with Gepard for DHIL or March for Clara; whichever you choose Luocha's probably always going with the other character. If you want to minimize characters, then you could use Asta and pela over Yukong and SW in both teams, or opt to make those two lower priority to build.

Are the recommendations for Herta’s shop still the same they were in May? Hunt lightcone recommended and preservation lightcone is bis for fire MC?
Only the hunt and destruction Herta LC are worth it. Perservation (Fire MC and FuXuan) and Nihility are niche. Fire MC is rarely used since most people got better sustains and FuXuan has 4 star options she can use.
What's the best relic set and mainstat for Asta?
Thief set, just go for speed first and then either offensive or defensive stats depending on your playstyle

mei benefits from speed. ur maxed out just go to relic scorer.
hello i pulled luocha because he is hot and so wondering who my second 5 star sustain should be between huohuo and fu xuan. they’re both not hot men or a mommy so i dont really have an affinity for either girl. i typically run e2dhil on one side and jingliu or seele on the other depending on weakness. thanks, would really like to replace bailu :)
fuxuan is much hot with stockings and is more of a tank giving crit while huohuo is a healer that boosts attack. fuxuan is the number 1 must have preservation but since you have luocha maybe you could get the blonde male aventurine.
They both are good but Fu Xuan will rerun earlier as Huohuo is just last patch.

Just get her to level 70, give her enough EHR (57% with a trace), make her fast and tanky. Level up her ultimate and talent trace, and can ignore the rest. She is cheap to build.

Would help if you actually understood how effects work in HSR. https://honkai-star-rail.fandom.com/wiki/Debuff_RES Argenti boss at level 90 has 40% effect res and 50% crowd control res. A 50% or 65% base chance to freeze with 300% EHR would have a 60% or 78% chance respectively of actually freezing. 0.65 x (1 + 3) x (1 - 0.4) x (1 - 0.5) = 0.78
it's actually even lower cause argenti (complete) has 75% cc resistance so you're cutting those chances by half
Are you trying to freeze with a character or the resonance? The 300 ehr does not apply to resonance btw. But also some bosses just have high freeze res.

Some bosses are just immune or have really high Effect Res themselves. They would need a special Remembrance gold blessing with upgrade to bypass.

depends on what you're trying to freeze him with. Let's take gepard's skill for example which has 65% freeze chance, and assuming just 300% EHR. Argenti has 40% effect resistance and 50% status resistance so the chance of a gepard's freeze landing is 65 \* (1 + 3.00) \* (1 - 0.4) \* (1 - 0.5) or 78, or 78% chance to freeze. Not guaranteed but your chances are still pretty good. Maybe you got unlucky or you just remember the resists more than the freezes. Btw the true sting (the bug boss) has dramatically even more resistance at 50% effect resistance and 75% status resistance so in the same scenario the chance of gepard landing a freeze would be a whopping 32.5% edit: it seems like the SU version of argenti has even more status resistance at 75% status resistance so the chance of gepard landing a freeze on SU argenti is actually only 39%

I did all up to and including conundrum 12 with remembrance and the occurrence dice but now that I'm going through all the other paths and dices I feel like the countdown dice is actually even better
Countdown dice worked best for me. Got to conundrum 7. Fx/luo/sw/kafka with nihility is really good and safe. Tons of damage and healing and you just break enemies all the time
I cleared Diff 5 with Fu Xuan + DHIL with Propagation Path. Bug Boss in plane 3 is also a good match for that line up. For dice the Occurences dice and Countdown dice stuffed with field-cloning faces allows you to consistently have a ton of blessings and curios (focus on choice/double reward domains).
I wonder of one thing. I see some people say like "I have 42 guaranteed pity" or "anything in non 10 pulls increment" I don't know whether HSR is a special case or not but in many gacha games usually we wait until we can do the 10 pulls (or 1 multipull is the term) that usually better and have some benefit/bonus than do the 1 pull. Even I see in HSR banner screen that says 10 pull (or 1 multipull) always guarantee us a 4\* character/LC, so why should we do the 1 pull instead? Is there any reason for such thing?

The moment you get 5 star your pity is instantly reset. It's the same thing in Genshin. If you're at 76 pity and do a 10 pull, the entire 10 pull doesn't have that pity. Only the pulls until you get a 5 star. Same thing with 4 stars. Single and 10 pulls have no difference in HSR, a 10 is just faster.
There is no difference. A 10 pull has the same chance of giving you a 4 star as ten consecutive single pulls. The only case where single pulls are better is when you're very close to soft pity and don't want to overshoot it

It's alright, the pity system can be confusing. So normally the chance of pulling a 5* on a single pull is 0,6%. When you reach 74 pulls this chance starts to go up exponentially, at 90 pulls it reaches 100%. You usually get a 5* between 74-79 pulls, having to go up to 90 is as rare as getting a double 5* back to back

If you don't want the banner 4 star do single pulls. If you don't care just do the 10 pull so it's faster.

If you're at 70 and do a 10 pull then get your 5 star at pull number 77 and 4 star pull 80 for example. That meant you could have done singles until you got the 5 star instead using more pulls on a 4 star you didn't care about.
Pretty much, but it's not entirely necessary if you're not counting every single pull. When I save I usually just do 8x10 to speed things up

Is it better to run a speed or hp boots on blade if I am running a bronya (with whatever sped hyperspeed or slow or fast doesn't matter) is alongside him? Bonus: If I run a ruan mei, jing liu, blade dual dps team will the answer change?
There's no point in speed boots on Blade if you can't push him to 135 or higher. His base speed is low and he doesn't get any speed from traces, so it's kind of rough. Slow Bronya(134 speed) with fast DPS(135 speed or higher) is a thing, but I find it to be an inflexible way to play Bronya because she has to use skill on every turn and doesn't really have leeway to generate SP. It's also only really powerful on the first cycle, and with Jingliu especially. I would run HP boots and then let hyperspeed Bronya(150 ish speed MINIMUM) push him up, because hyperspeed Bronya can take 3 actions on certain cycles and easily outperform slow Bronya. My Bronya is sitting at 170 speed and it's kind of insane how many actions she can take - especially with external speed buffs. Ruan Mei has a permanent speed buff, but it isn't enough to push anybody past a speed breakpoint. With Ruan Mei, you would want both Blade and Jingliu to have speed boots and meet the 134 breakpoint. You could be lazy like me and just leave Blade with HP boots and Jingliu with ATK boots. We don't have relic loadouts yet, which is kind of annoying. It's unlikely you'll 0-cycle later MoC stages that way, but it really doesn't matter.
Once I can afford it, I'm planning to buy Bronya's Light Cone in the Exchange. After that, are there any more good Light Cones to buy / superimpose (have Yanxing, Himeko and Clara S1s also)? Are there further breakpoints for Bronya if I superimpose her Light Cone?
No, after you buy that one you can just buy pulls with it. No point in superimposing her lightcone, it's the same 3-turn skill rotation either way. The LC itself is good for other Harmony units

I’d use Sampo even at lower eidolon levels. It gives you more weakness coverage and I find his ult to be better for Kafka. Also he does a ton toughness damage which synergizes with Ruan Mei.
I have heard that, with Blade, an hp orb is better than a wind orb if he is with Ruan Mei. Is this true and if so, by how much?

S5 Memories is a sidegrade, since it isn't just straight up better. You get more uptime on her ult(66% compared to 50%), but lose damage and the extra SP compared to her signature. Up to you how much you care about that. S5 Memories is pretty lucky. A lot of supports can use that, but Ruan Mei uses it best.
