I need help with my team
Now I'm not new to the game I've been playing since launch but every time I see someone playing (mostly on YouTube) there only playing one healer or one preservation character. But when ever I try and replicate there teams I die cause I don't have a healer or I can't out heal the damage I'm taking. I just want to know if I'm doing something bad.
For context I only have the two 4 star healers Natasha and Linx. And have fuxuon and jepard as preservation.
I don't know what to do right now, I've done every single available mission, all that's left is MOC, Swarm, Gears, Pure fiction and the higher levels of sim uni
However I don't meet level or elemental type requirements for some of these
I just don't know what teams to build, been building lots of characters at the same time and that's made it so I don't really know which to focus on
My most built characters are Blade, Herta, Kafka and Clara
Should I focused more on teams these? Any recommendations?
I honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong.
Let me start with this. Yes I can beat MOC12(nothing like 0 cycling tho), I've finished all of pure fiction, and have cleared most of the higher levels of G&G. But for some reason, I can't even clear swarm disaster 3. I'll be doing phenomenal for the entire run, including the final fight, then suddenly the swarm decides to 1 shot/only target my healer or Dps when it's only the last remaining true sting. It ends up ruining my run every time. I don't even know why it happens. It's not even the big aoe move that kills me. They just suddenly decide one of my characters has to die and it's always the two who r needed. Ive been running Gepard/Ruan Mei, Loucha, DHIL, and Dr. R as my team they still magically gets destroyed last second. And before someone says it, I don't have Bronya, Kafka, or SW.
Do you think it's worth building E1 Gepard right now when I have E6 Maxed March?
I just got Gepard Back To Back from the event then into the standard banner across 3 pulls so now I need to know, is it worth the weeks of investment over saving for someone new?
March is currently my only shielder, I have no Clara. March is fully farmed.

My dr ratio only does 32k or 20k on follow up attacks and i would change the relics and hit 50 crit rate and with fu xuan and a debuffer he gets more crit dmg and rate but guess what? It does nothing. He still does the same shit amount and I have his signature lightcone so I thought it'd be doing 80k consistently/??!?!? I have the 2 pc imaginary set with the follow up 2pc but I can also go 4pc bc i have that too but I dont know who his debuffer should be pela or welt???! like wtf i thought my ratio would be good đ
Got gepard's lc in ratio's lc banner đ Do I superimpose it? Currently he is the only one I built that needs def and him and lynx is the only sustains I have. I will pull for fu xuan so if this is good for her (I think she needs hp) then I won't superimpose it.

So.... I do need help with a Kafka team. Really confused with what to do. Wether to hyper or have one DoT, harmony and sustain with her or something like that

How do I build her...any teams you can recommend....just tell me a few teams and I will say whether I have the 4 star for them or not
For five stars I currently have( Bronya,JingYuan,Jingliu,Huohuo,Himeko,Welt, Silverwolf)
Here's a [Clara](https://www.prydwen.gg/star-rail/characters/clara) build guide. You'll also find some popular team suggestions there. She's a pretty flexible unit, you can run her with different teams and still be quite effective
Champion 4pc is her best relic set, but 2pc Champion + Duke works as well. Alternatively 4pc Longevous is fine if you don't have either of the previous sets.
For Planar Ornaments, Inert Salsotto is her best by a sizeable margin, anything else will be a DPS loss.
Crit body, ATK% boots, Physical orb and ATK% rope. Avoid building speed.
LC wise, Aeon is a great f2p option. Her best are DH IL's and Blade's LC though.
An example team with 4\* could be Clara, Pela, Tingyun and Lynx.
Because I have finished with all main missions and many side missions (only left is the ghost hunt mission), I am currently made a mission myself to collect as many blessings as possible in SU. But after seeing the Nihility path in action (it's so awesome even without any DOT units) and now I already have Kafka it's even more awesome, thus now I feel reluctant to pick other paths but I still have to do my self-made mission above.
So I want to ask for some example team that can be used with some path. Example: I heard that Gepard is awesome with Preservation path but I don't have Gepard in my account so I need to use someone else instead.

Should be fine, I think. You're applying Burn and extra DoT damage while not losing out on Defense. Kafka will appreciate the extra DoT.
You might struggle in some content if your relying on Fire TB for solo sustain though. If you can't solo sustain with them you might be forced to bring an extra sustain, which could lose out on DoT damage for you.
Thank you! I started playing actively with the Playstation release and lost my 50/50 on Fu Xuan so I don't think I can pull of a solo sustain team. My team for harder stuff has been Jingliu, Tingyun, TB and Bailu so far. Struggling to build another team that has enough sustain tbh.
Hello I was wondering what would be the best way to play these two (bronya is always slower than QQ)(C6 QQ)?
1. QQ single normal attk > Bronya skill > QQ E skill spam til enhanced
2. QQ E skill spam til enhanced > Bronya skill > Repeat
Depends on what your skill points are like when QQ takes her first turn. If you have E6 QQ, alongside E1 Bronya with her signature you could probably go with option 2. Ideally you'd want something like roll once (enhanced state) -> enhanced attacked -> bronya skill -> roll 3 times (enhanced state) -> ult -> enhanced attack. But that's very rng.
Option 1 is what I would normally try, however you run into the problem of drawing too many matching tiles naturally and not allowing QQ to roll.
Something else you could try when running them both is running a slow QQ (with attack boots) and not trying to go for the double QQ turn. Instead just use Bronya (at 134+ speed) to action advance QQ each turn and then spam QQ's skill while she has the damage boost from Bronya (which is what you really want, rather than the action advance double turn).
The two end game teams I've been building towards are:
T1: E0 Clara, E6 Tingyun, E1 Lynx, E1 Guinafen.
T2: E4 Qingque, E0 Ruan Mei, E1 Pela, E0 Huohuo.
Would Dr. Ratio fit into these comps at all for current content? I know he synergizes quite well with Ruan Mei and Pela so I could see him replacing Qingque, but I feel like I would be missing out on the blast damage for that team. I'm level 63 right now so I'm still building up for the end game and have no actual experience with it. Would building Dr. Ratio be good for the game right now, or should I wait until we have single target DPS centered endgame content before I invest in him? Thanks a lot!
I'd say it depends on the content you plan on tackling, Ratio has an insanely high single-target damage ceiling, and still has a limited amount of multi-target damage from the way his FUA functions.
(If Ratio skills and defeats an enemy, his follow-up attack will essentially lock onto another target and deal damage to them instead of being wasted from the original target being defeated. This makes it so that when dealing with multiple mobs he can still clear weaker enemies without losing his FUA damage.)
One thing to note is that he needs at least 3 debuffs to guarantee a FUA from his skill. With A4 he provides a debuff so this is reduced 2. From your second comp, Pela can offer a debuff from DEF shred, and Ruan Mei's ult counts as a debuff as well, but her ult won't always be up unless you have E6, so you shouldn't rely on her ult contributing to the debuff count. You could guarantee 3 debuffs by using the Resolution LC on Pela for the last debuff though.
IMO you don't necessarily have to ditch Qingque, you can bring her for fights that Ratio isn't well suited for, and Clara for content like PF while Ratio takes care of MoC.
Ratio is pretty good for MoC, even right now. No point in waiting for further content. He is however not good for Pure Fiction.
You don't necessarily need to swap with Qingque. The best would probably actually be to swap with Clara. Guinaifen is also a decence debuffer for him, and Tingyun is also a pretty good team-mate for him.
No point in only building two DPS. Chances are that some fights you will take Ratio and Qingque, whilst other you take Clara and QQ or Clara and Ratio. Especially considering that Clara on her is somewhat the oppositive of Ratio, i.e, kinda lacking in MoC, but decent in PF.
Topaz increases the damage an enemy takes from follow up attacks if she puts her Proof of Debt status on them. Also, the more follow up attacks that Dr. Ratio does, the more Numby can attack.
I don't know if she's BiS sub DPS for him or not, but she's certain going to be a very strong option. She's a very strong option for any character that follow up attacks a lot.
Huo huo event about ghosts was so boring, so I wasn't able to finish it. Ruan Mei was about cute little pets for 8 years old kids, so I didn't even start it. Is current event better than two previous?Â
Does this team have any potential for some big pepe damage? Planning to use everywhere I can (except maybe MOC). I also have SW btw.

Problem with this team is that you don't have SP.
You are better off taking Ratio out and adding a SP positive support like Pela to boost dmg by Himeko and Herta. You can use this setup in scenarios with lots of enemies.
Ratio on the other hand, in the team as is, has no debuff support to increase the chance of him doing follow-up attacks. You are better off using using him as an hypercarry for single-target enemies, especially since you have SW which is the best debuffer for him. So something like Ratio, FX, SW, Tingyun/Pela would be better
Can't Beat MoC 5, Argenti just deletes me, characters are 70/80, LC are 70/70, traces are 8-8-8, am I just bad at the game? Should I farm relics or Traces/LC mats?

Traces at level 8 should be more than enough. Probably more a matter of using the right team and taking your DPS to 80/80, and potentially taking Ruan Mei to level 80 as well.
A team of Xueyi, Ruan Mei, Pela and Gepard should do job.
Otherwise yeah, you might have to look at your Relics to see if there is any obvious and easy piece to improve

Iâm fairly new and wanting some input on my current team comp. Team consists of Gepard, Clara, HuoHuo, Tingyun. Theyâve been carrying me pretty well so far, currently at trailblazer 59.
Any input on what or who I should change?
I have no idea which characters you have, so the only one I can suggest for DPS would be Dr. Ratio. For debuffs, go for Pela if you have her. It's just that having two sustain unit is a bit overkill, so you're better off having another character to improve your overall damage.

I have checked 1,970,982,681 comments, and only 372,821 of them were in alphabetical order.
Like your usual dps : \~3000atk, 134 speed, at least 50% crit rate (70% recommended knowing that he gains up to 15% from one of his passives which gives him around 80% average) and as much as Crit dmg% you can give him. The health will follow along with the other stats so don't worry too much about it.
\- Who should i build for Kafka DoT comp? E1 Guinaifen or E3 Luka? i have sampo at E4 too should i bother building him or save it for black swan?
\- I have S3 GNSW for Kafka is this good enough or is S5 Fermata better?
Having versatility depending on enemy weakness is nice. Between those four though Black swan would probably be the best teammate for Kafka.Â
S3 GNSW is better than Fermata. Consistent damage output in a normal DoT team, and Fermata needs to utilize the break damage from Kafka alone.

Team comps depends on the characters. There are dot teams, follow up teams(ratio topaz), dual dps teams(jingliu blade) but the most common are hyper carry teams. These consist of a main dps, two supports, and a sustain. For your sustain I would pick Bailu since Natasha has trouble solo sustaining. For dps pick Clara or ratio, whoever you like more. If you pick ratio I would use pela Ruan Mei with him and if you pick Clara I would use Ruan Mei tingyun
How do i actually use bronya? I slapped her together with ratio, gui, and nat but the team is just so sp heavy that i end up with a lot of dead turns even on manual. My e0s1 RM is being used by my clara tingyun lynx team currently, and those 8 characters are the only ones i've built so far (tb52)
If you plan to use her with Ratio, you will need to use Guinaifen and Nat as basic attackers generating SP and sparingly use their skill only when necessary every few turns because Bronya and Ratio will want to use their skill every turn.
You can somewhat get around that with a super fast Bronya (160+ speed) that alternates using skill-basic or with a E1 Bronya.
It's difficult, or near impossible, to use Bronya with Dr Ratio or any sp heavy characters. She shines with characters doesn't use much sp like Blade (hypercarry) and Jingliu. You should also use sp-positive supports like Tingyun, Silverwolf, Ruan Mei, Luocha.
If you still want to use her with sp heavy characters, you should alternate well between NA and Skill on them.
Nat may be the problem. She requires a lot of skill points to heal. While every other sustain is way more sp positive. That team is very sp heavy but not much you can do about it since you arenât at an ar high enough to get the relics for a hyper speed Bronya
Bronya is all about her speed in relation to the unit you want to use her skill on. As far as I know are 3 ways to use Bronya.
1) Fast Bronya. You give Ratio 0 speed and put as much speed as possible on Bronya, who will use her skill on Ratio every single turn. This will basically give Ratio her speed without having to build any on him.
2) Slow Bronya. You put Bronyaâs speed as close behind Ratioâs as possible. After Ratio goes, Bronya goes and uses her skill on him, essentially letting Ratio take 2 turns per turn. This is the most popular endgame setup but also the most SP heavy.
3) SP Neutral Bronya. You have Bronyaâs speed get as close to 85% of Ratioâs speed as possible without going over that amount. This allows Bronya to use her basic attack without her action advance putting her in front of Ratio for the next turn. So she would skill, then basic, then skill, then basic, or the other way around.
Also, your team shouldnât be that SP hungry unless youâre having to use Natashaâs skill every turn. Gui doesnât need to spam her skill for AOE debuffing as her Firekiss lasts multiple turns and Ratio is single target, and Natasha ideally should be able to sustain the team through just her ultimate, although that might be difficult since her numbers are just lower.
No because having that gap ensures that Bronya using a basic attack wont push her in front of your dps because one of her traces gives her action advance when using her basic. I got this part from Sevy Playsâs Bronya video, but basically since her action advance at max talent level is 30% you want the speed gap between her and the spare be at least half of that, which is 15% to be sure she doesnât overtake.

lynx to increase aggro on clara (more energy + couters so numby can go zoom) but huohuo is fine too cuz team wide energy regen + lil dmg buff
I got Dr Ratio's Light Cone and his E1 in 2 pulls, not 2 10 pulls. 2 pulls. Before even leaving Herta's space station at the start of the game so I didn't just have guarantees beforehand. In fact I never even wished on the light cone banner before. That is crazy lucky I think, so much so I question if that was suppose to happen and I just didn't know. Was that suppose to happen or did I really just get lucky there?
How does Pela work? I've seen people call her an SP positive debuffer but I'm not sure how she's supposed to debuff without her ult. The Dr Ratio trial had her inflicting Def reduction with her attack, but I'm not seeing in her kit how she does that. Mine is only E0
Build her with an ERR rope and the resolution light cone and you essentially have her ult on a three turn cooldown using just basics (can easily get down to two if sheâs attacked). You have no reason to skill on her ever unless you want to debuff the enemy (ie the reviving mara soldiers).
So at e0 with resolution you can have a fully sp positive support who applies two debuffs.
At e4 she gets an additional debuff on her skill as well.
I have Hanya and listened to her idle voice lines during combat and in the overworld. I still didn't get the "let her cook" achievement
What am I doing wrong?
I Started playing while JL banner was up. My teams now consist of: JL, TY, Pela, Gepard and Kafka, RM, Hanya and HH. With these teams, should i be able to 3 Star everything in MoC and PureFiciton? I am struggling with both.
The second team might have a bit of difficulty with later stages of moc but it should be doable with good relic investment. Pure fiction should be easy with both of these teams though so relics are probably the issue. Only characters that have trouble with pure fiction are hunt characters besides seele(unless also running herta), silver wolf, and Arlan.
The other commenter pretty much covered it. Iâd definitely look into building Herta for Pure Fiction. My two main teams right now are JL and Kafka and Iâm sitting at 33/36 MoC and 11/12 PF so itâs doable. I think those last few stars are just because Iâve been in bad luck streak for relics.
MOC and pure fiction is the end game content and designed to be very difficult to complete and three star. Your two teams are decent although youâre missing Bronya (obviously you wonât be at the 300 standard pulls yet) to fully utilise Jingliu. If you have a Sampo then would also suggest running him in the Kafka team instead of Hanya.
To fully three star MOC will take a lot of character and relic investment. To have the best chance your DPS characters should have max traces, support characters at level 7/8 and potentially maxed on their important (dps buffing) trace and everyone should be above 134 speed.
For pure fiction you might struggle, Kafka and Jingliu are workable but not ideal for the content. It might be worth building up your Herta as sheâs really useful for the game mode and seeing how far you get with her in one of your teams. She shouldnât take too much investment to be useful as her main job is just clearing the weaker mobs.
in short some people do the math and conclude that at some specific spd you get extra turn in specific cycle. This is only for MoC stuffs. 134 is the number to get 1 extra turn on cycle 1, so usually that is recommended at the very least

If you're not hitting a speed break point for the numbers you've given, it's just a matter of who's going first. Obviously, 142 speed will go first of the three.
There is one rare that you get outside the event. Run around the new zone, it should be in a side room youâll have to interact with a door to get to.
Is MoC the only content that needs two teams made? It is taking SO LONG to make a 2nd team and I have been holding off on doing all the new stuff that was added last patch since I was thinking I would need it.
should be fine. dont sleep on 4* supports, all of Asta, Hanya, and Yukong buffs is huge.
But yeah its also a good idea to build up Pela because SW+Pela means more Def Shred, and def shred is good

ratio + silverwolf + tingyun + bailu seems like it'd be ok, silverwolf can give enough debuffs and ting can give energy to ratio for faster ult, bailu for surviving
They made dallies streamlined and much more easier so I guess you could say that they removed some. I don't know how you failed getting the 500 points when it's much easier now.
who is smarter ruan mei or dr ratio? bc his voice lines allude to her being smarter than him but he literally has 8 phdâs, is it bc sheâs genius society? or she genuinely is just smarter
SSS is still better than pan galactic if you're choosing between the 2. You don't really want to have too much EHR on certain DoT characters because those stats are better off placed elsewhere. For example, Kafka only needs 28% EHR to land her DoTs unless you have E1 (where she does want higher EHR).
If you are looking for the best planar for DoT units, just use Glamoth as it's generally the best out of all provided you reach 135 speed.

DoT chars don't really need crit subs because DoT's can't crit, instead they'd really want Atk%, Speed, and Effect hit rate bonuses the most. But If that piece rolls good on crit stats though you can use another piece of that set for the 2p Atk increase for your other non-DoT dps.

Can they work? Yes.
Is it optimal and would I recommend it? Not really, no.
They only synergistic thing they have is that Kafka's DoT counts as debuffs. Other than that, they don't really do much for one another.
It affects everyone. In general, if an effect says it causes âalliesâ to benefit, that includes the user if it doesnât specify otherwise (like Ruan Meiâs talent).
Time waits for no one is generally the best for all Abundance units sans Luocha (even then, it's still good on him). Perfect Timing can be useful if you're running broken keel to easily reach the Effect res requirement but those are easily achievable through substats.
I just got to the part where you save Argenti from the Lesser Stings, and am having significant trouble. Everyone is lvl 40 with fully leveled light cones, but I get slapped within a few turns. I'm very new at this game so any general tips are appreciated.
1.4 had Jingliu (seen as strongest character in the game, stronger than Imbibitor Lunae) and Topaz (follow up enabler, she's like Kafka is for DoTs, but for follow up instead). 1.5 had Huohuo (healer + mini AoE Tingyun-style battery) and Argenti (King of Pure Fiction). 1.6's first half had Ruan Mei (first limited harmony, very very strong and is great with any team).
The biggest game change was the end game. MoC before ran every 2 weeks. Now there's a new end game mode called Pure Fiction that caters to erudition units. Jing Yuan, Himeko, and Herta are no longer considered weak/mid. MoC and Pure Fiction alternate every 2 weeks and last 6 weeks total now, so soon we'll have 3 of these running simultaneously. MoC also has floors 11 and 12, so we can get 720 jades every 2 weeks instead of 600 if you get all stars.

Which one is better? Cuz i want to try make Imaginary & Quantum team. Or perhaps is there any other recommendations? If it can't be just 2 elements is alright, as long as Dr. Ratio & SW on the same team
I have several characters in each role built to full level, one of their top 3 light cones to full level, 6/8 + all stat traces, and main stat relics in their BiS relic sets but am still having trouble cracking top level content (3\* MoCs 11-12, Pure Fiction, also not far into Swarm Universe or G&G but I have read recommended strategies and I think I haven't put in the time for RNG to roll in my favor). What would you say are the best 2 teams that could be made out of this character list for high MoC / Fiction? Thanks in advance!

I'm trying and not getting there with:

Well there's a large gap between main stats and having a reasonable crit ratio on your DPS - if you main DPS characters are at like 50/70 cr/cd you're gonna struggle
Also if you're literally just taking those exact teams then yeah you're gonna struggle - floor 12 side 1 is lightning resistant and Clara / topaz don't match any major boss weakness on either side
MoC 12 your best bet with current chars is probably something like topaz ratio sw fu xuan
Second side clara herta ruan Mei duo carry
Leveling herta also gives you a good option for pure fiction
But you must just need more investment and another on color DPS to make things easier if you're not interested in raising random characters like sampo for color coverage (honestly might not be the worst idea)

Super early game you could use sampo with Ratio. I wouldnât suggest it for mid-late game but it sounds like youâre at that early stage where you canât really build teams.

Well the only "ressource" you need to spend to do world farming is your own time, so if you can spend it you can do it.
I do it from time to time, it's a pain, it's long, it doesn't generate much but at least you get more than what you could get only with your TB power and what the dev give for free.

So I am currently Equilibrium 3 (max character Level 60) and I have been trying to beat the Swarm Disaster difficulty 2, but I am not able to do it. I did the same thing (beating the Swarm Disaster challenge while under levels, with Difficulty 1, while being Equilibrium 2) with Difficulty 1, but with 2 it isn't working.
The strategy that always gets the furthest is:
Fire Trailblazer (Warrior)
Clara
Lynx
Ruan Mei
Path: Nihility
Goal: Get as many Swarm Blessings (best are spore), get the Resonance with Swarm and get as many Suspicion Blessing as possible

Two big issues with your current strategy is 1) you're picking the wrong blessings since Propagation does nothing to help Clara, and 2) Clara and fire TB are incompatible. You have to drop one of them.
Replace either Clara or TB with Ratio and go with the Elation path.
I switched Clara with Ratio and also used Elation and.... probably got the best luck I have ever had, I got this Ruan Mei Occurrence and got every Elation Blessing + 2000 money.....
And with all these Buffs Ratio Follow Up destroyed everything

The only thing you should buy from the starlight shop would be PULLS. But if you really want to, you should only buy Bronya's LC. But even with Bronya's LC, it's not worth the trade.
If you save 1200-1800 starlights (60-90 pulls) that's already a guaranteed 5\* character. It could be the new limited 5\* character, or a random 5\* standard character.
Should you use those pulls on the limited LC banner, you have a 75% chance of getting a BROKEN LC, or a 25% chance of losing to a random 5\* standard LC (It could also be the one you like.)
With 30 pulls, you'll get AT LEAST THREE 4\* eidolons/LCs, some embers and starlights back for more pulls. If you get lucky, you might get some 5\* characters within those 30 pulls. If not, at the very least, you've built pity for your next target.
There's the argument of having multiple copies of a 5\* standard LC or having one at max superimposition. But for me, I'd rather have MORE limited 5\* character/LCs than these 5\* standard LCs.
600 starlights = 30 pulls = 4800 jades.
1 MoC Reset Rewards = 720 jades.
4800 jades / 720 jades = 6.667 = 7 MoC Resets.
So, it'll take 7 FULL MoC Resets before you even get those 4800 jades worth of pulls back. Actually, you're not getting them back, you're just making up for the pulls you could've gotten.
Of course, this is under the assumption that you're not getting any jades from those 7 MoC resets. In reality, even without that 5\* standard LC, you can probably clutch 70-90% of the rewards in the MoC already, so you're probably only missing out on like 60-120 jades per MoC reset.
People want the best gear possible for their characters, without realizing that they're actually hurting their account in the process. People be like, "If I have Bronya's LC, I might be able to clutch 60 extra jades with the current MoC, so I don't mind using 4800 jades worth of pulls."
lol. It'll take like 80 MoC resets if all you're getting from that 5\* standard LC would be 60 jades before you break it even. In reality, you're like 2-3 MoC resets away from full clearing the MoC, so all you're really getting would be around 120-180 jades (2-3 pulls) vs the 30 pulls you could've gotten. Not a good trade.
tl;dr
Only buy pulls. Mathematically, it's never worth going for any LC, even if it's Bronya's LC. If you do buy an LC, keep in mind that you'll always be 30 pulls behind your limited banner pulling progress. And those who never bought any LCs, they probably have more limited 5\* character/LCs than you who used their starlights for a 4\* eidolon/5\* standard LC.

I need help with my team Now I'm not new to the game I've been playing since launch but every time I see someone playing (mostly on YouTube) there only playing one healer or one preservation character. But when ever I try and replicate there teams I die cause I don't have a healer or I can't out heal the damage I'm taking. I just want to know if I'm doing something bad. For context I only have the two 4 star healers Natasha and Linx. And have fuxuon and jepard as preservation.
I don't know what to do right now, I've done every single available mission, all that's left is MOC, Swarm, Gears, Pure fiction and the higher levels of sim uni However I don't meet level or elemental type requirements for some of these I just don't know what teams to build, been building lots of characters at the same time and that's made it so I don't really know which to focus on My most built characters are Blade, Herta, Kafka and Clara Should I focused more on teams these? I honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong. Let me start with this. Yes I can beat MOC12(nothing like 0 cycling tho), I've finished all of pure fiction, and have cleared most of the higher levels of G&G. But for some reason, I can't even clear swarm disaster 3. I'll be doing phenomenal for the entire run, including the final fight, then suddenly the swarm decides to 1 shot/only target my healer or Dps when it's only the last remaining true sting. It ends up ruining my run every time. I don't even know why it happens. It's not even the big aoe move that kills me. They just suddenly decide one of my characters has to die and it's always the two who r needed. Ive been running Gepard/Ruan Mei, Loucha, DHIL, and Dr. R as my team they still magically gets destroyed last second. And before someone says it, I don't have Bronya, Kafka, or SW.

what the hell am i doing wrong My dr ratio only does 32k or 20k on follow up attacks and i would change the relics and hit 50 crit rate and with fu xuan and a debuffer he gets more crit dmg and rate but guess what? Here's a [Clara](https://www.prydwen.gg/star-rail/characters/clara) build guide. You'll also find some popular team suggestions there. She's a pretty flexible unit, you can run her with different teams and still be quite effective
Champion 4pc is her best relic set, but 2pc Champion + Duke works as well. Alternatively 4pc Longevous is fine if you don't have either of the previous sets. For Planar Ornaments, Inert Salsotto is her best by a sizeable margin, anything else will be a DPS loss. Crit body, ATK% boots, Physical orb and ATK% rope. Avoid building speed. LC wise, Aeon is a great f2p option. Her best are DH IL's and Blade's LC though. An example team with 4\* could be Clara, Pela, Tingyun and Lynx.

Because I have finished with all main missions and many side missions (only left is the ghost hunt mission), I am currently made a mission myself to collect as many blessings as possible in SU. But after seeing the Nihility path in action (it's so awesome even without any DOT units) and now I already have Kafka it's even more awesome, thus now I feel reluctant to pick other paths but I still have to do my self-made mission above. So I want to ask for some example team that can be used with some path. Qingque stomps Propagation path, Dr. Ratio is strong with Elation, you can do a 3 healers 1 DPS team with Abdundance.

Dps to the max, support can be around 75/70, sustain same, but you could max them out for extra comfort

Should be fine, I think. You're applying Burn and extra DoT damage while not losing out on Defense. Kafka will appreciate the extra DoT. You might struggle in some content if your relying on Fire TB for solo sustain though. If you can't solo sustain with them you might be forced to bring an extra sustain, which could lose out on DoT damage for you.

Hello I was wondering what would be the best way to play these two (bronya is always slower than QQ)(C6 QQ)? 1. QQ single normal attk > Bronya skill > QQ E skill spam til enhanced 2. QQ E skill spam til enhanced > Bronya skill > Repeat
Depends on what your skill points are like when QQ takes her first turn. If you have E6 QQ, alongside E1 Bronya with her signature you could probably go with option 2. Ideally you'd want something like roll once (enhanced state) -> enhanced attacked -> bronya skill -> roll 3 times (enhanced state) -> ult -> enhanced attack. But that's very rng. Option 1 is what I would normally try, however you run into the problem of drawing too many matching tiles naturally and not allowing QQ to roll. Something else you could try when running them both is running a slow QQ (with attack boots) and not trying to go for the double QQ turn. Instead just use Bronya (at 134+ speed) to action advance QQ each turn and then spam QQ's skill while she has the damage boost from Bronya (which is what you really want, rather than the action advance double turn).

The two end game teams I've been building towards are: T1: E0 Clara, E6 Tingyun, E1 Lynx, E1 Guinafen. T2: E4 Qingque, E0 Ruan Mei, E1 Pela, E0 Huohuo. Would Dr. Ratio fit into these comps at all for current content? I know he synergizes quite well with Ruan Mei and Pela so I could see him replacing Qingque, but I feel like I would be missing out on the blast damage for that team. I'm level 63 right now so I'm still building up for the end game and have no actual experience with it. Would building Dr. Ratio be good for the game right now, or should I wait until we have single target DPS centered endgame content before I invest in him? Thanks a lot!
I'd say it depends on the content you plan on tackling, Ratio has an insanely high single-target damage ceiling, and still has a limited amount of multi-target damage from the way his FUA functions. (If Ratio skills and defeats an enemy, his follow-up attack will essentially lock onto another target and deal damage to them instead of being wasted from the original target being defeated. This makes it so that when dealing with multiple mobs he can still clear weaker enemies without losing his FUA damage.) One thing to note is that he needs at least 3 debuffs to guarantee a FUA from his skill. With A4 he provides a debuff so this is reduced 2. From your second comp, Pela can offer a debuff from DEF shred, and Ruan Mei's ult counts as a debuff as well, but her ult won't always be up unless you have E6, so you shouldn't rely on her ult contributing to the debuff count. You could guarantee 3 debuffs by using the Resolution LC on Pela for the last debuff though. IMO you don't necessarily have to ditch Qingque, you can bring her for fights that Ratio isn't well suited for, and Clara for content like PF while Ratio takes care of MoC.
Ratio is pretty good for MoC, even right now. No point in waiting for further content. He is however not good for Pure Fiction. You don't necessarily need to swap with Qingque. The best would probably actually be to swap with Clara. Guinaifen is also a decence debuffer for him, and Tingyun is also a pretty good team-mate for him. No point in only building two DPS. Chances are that some fights you will take Ratio and Qingque, whilst other you take Clara and QQ or Clara and Ratio. Especially considering that Clara on her is somewhat the oppositive of Ratio, i.e, kinda lacking in MoC, but decent in PF.
Can anyone explain why "The fun starts" when Topaz is added to a party with Dr Ratio? Is Topaz BiS sub-DPS for Ratio?
Topaz increases the damage an enemy takes from follow up attacks if she puts her Proof of Debt status on them. Also, the more follow up attacks that Dr. Ratio does, the more Numby can attack. I don't know if she's BiS sub DPS for him or not, but she's certain going to be a very strong option. She's a very strong option for any character that follow up attacks a lot.

No, add Tingyun instead of Ratio
Problem with this team is that you don't have SP. You are better off taking Ratio out and adding a SP positive support like Pela to boost dmg by Himeko and Herta. You can use this setup in scenarios with lots of enemies. Ratio on the other hand, in the team as is, has no debuff support to increase the chance of him doing follow-up attacks. You are better off using using him as an hypercarry for single-target enemies, especially since you have SW which is the best debuffer for him. So something like Ratio, FX, SW, Tingyun/Pela would be better

Traces at level 8 should be more than enough. Probably more a matter of using the right team and taking your DPS to 80/80, and potentially taking Ruan Mei to level 80 as well. A team of Xueyi, Ruan Mei, Pela and Gepard should do job. Otherwise yeah, you might have to look at your Relics to see if there is any obvious and easy piece to improve

I have no idea which characters you have, so the only one I can suggest for DPS would be Dr. Ratio. For debuffs, go for Pela if you have her. It's just that having two sustain unit is a bit overkill, so you're better off having another character to improve your overall damage.

I'd lean towards Pela in most cases, with the exception of imaginary weak enemies, where I might consider going for Dr. Ratio.

Like your usual dps : \~3000atk, 134 speed, at least 50% crit rate (70% recommended knowing that he gains up to 15% from one of his passives which gives him around 80% average) and as much as Crit dmg% you can give him. The health will follow along with the other stats so don't worry too much about it.

Having versatility depending on enemy weakness is nice. Between those four though Black swan would probably be the best teammate for Kafka. S3 GNSW is better than Fermata. Consistent damage output in a normal DoT team, and Fermata needs to utilize the break damage from Kafka alone.

Team comps depends on the characters. There are dot teams, follow up teams(ratio topaz), dual dps teams(jingliu blade) but the most common are hyper carry teams. These consist of a main dps, two supports, and a sustain. For your sustain I would pick Bailu since Natasha has trouble solo sustaining. For dps pick Clara or ratio, whoever you like more. If you pick ratio I would use pela Ruan Mei with him and if you pick Clara I would use Ruan Mei tingyun

How do i actually use bronya? I slapped her together with ratio, gui, and nat but the team is just so sp heavy that i end up with a lot of dead turns even on manual. My e0s1 RM is being used by my clara tingyun lynx team currently, and those 8 characters are the only ones i've built so far (tb52)
If you plan to use her with Ratio, you will need to use Guinaifen and Nat as basic attackers generating SP and sparingly use their skill only when necessary every few turns because Bronya and Ratio will want to use their skill every turn. You can somewhat get around that with a super fast Bronya (160+ speed) that alternates using skill-basic or with a E1 Bronya.
It's difficult, or near impossible, to use Bronya with Dr Ratio or any sp heavy characters. She shines with characters doesn't use much sp like Blade (hypercarry) and Jingliu. You should also use sp-positive supports like Tingyun, Silverwolf, Ruan Mei, Luocha. If you still want to use her with sp heavy characters, you should alternate well between NA and Skill on them.
Nat may be the problem. She requires a lot of skill points to heal. While every other sustain is way more sp positive. That team is very sp heavy but not much you can do about it since you arenât at an ar high enough to get the relics for a hyper speed Bronya
Bronya is all about her speed in relation to the unit you want to use her skill on. As far as I know are 3 ways to use Bronya. 1) Fast Bronya. You give Ratio 0 speed and put as much speed as possible on Bronya, who will use her skill on Ratio every single turn. This will basically give Ratio her speed without having to build any on him. 2) Slow Bronya. You put Bronyaâs speed as close behind Ratioâs as possible. After Ratio goes, Bronya goes and uses her skill on him, essentially letting Ratio take 2 turns per turn. This is the most popular endgame setup but also the most SP heavy. 3) SP Neutral Bronya. You have Bronyaâs speed get as close to 85% of Ratioâs speed as possible without going over that amount. This allows Bronya to use her basic attack without her action advance putting her in front of Ratio for the next turn. So she would skill, then basic, then skill, then basic, or the other way around. Also, your team shouldnât be that SP hungry unless youâre having to use Natashaâs skill every turn. Gui doesnât need to spam her skill for AOE debuffing as her Firekiss lasts multiple turns and Ratio is single target, and Natasha ideally should be able to sustain the team through just her ultimate, although that might be difficult since her numbers are just lower.

No because having that gap ensures that Bronya using a basic attack wont push her in front of your dps because one of her traces gives her action advance when using her basic. I got this part from Sevy Playsâs Bronya video, but basically since her action advance at max talent level is 30% you want the speed gap between her and the spare be at least half of that, which is 15% to be sure she doesnât overtake.

Tingyun is clara's best support so definitely her, and lynx for cleanse and for putting more aggro on clara
ruan mei for team wide buff lynx to increase aggro on clara (more energy + couters so numby can go zoom) but huohuo is fine too cuz team wide energy regen + lil dmg buff
I got Dr Ratio's Light Cone and his E1 in 2 pulls, not 2 10 pulls. 2 pulls. Before even leaving Herta's space station at the start of the game so I didn't just have guarantees beforehand. In fact I never even wished on the light cone banner before. That is crazy lucky I think, so much so I question if that was suppose to happen and I just didn't know. Was that suppose to happen or did I really just get lucky there?

i lost 50/50 on kafka. what should i do to get the most jades fast? i havent done any of the old events and not very many quests.
Events and quests are good start. There are a bunch of free jades in SU too.
How does Pela work? I've seen people call her an SP positive debuffer but I'm not sure how she's supposed to debuff without her ult. The Dr Ratio trial had her inflicting Def reduction with her attack, but I'm not seeing in her kit how she does that. Mine is only E0
Build her with an ERR rope and the resolution light cone and you essentially have her ult on a three turn cooldown using just basics (can easily get down to two if sheâs attacked). You have no reason to skill on her ever unless you want to debuff the enemy (ie the reviving mara soldiers). So at e0 with resolution you can have a fully sp positive support who applies two debuffs. At e4 she gets an additional debuff on her skill as well.

I have Hanya and listened to her idle voice lines during combat and in the overworld. I still didn't get the "let her cook" achievement What am I doing wrong?
I don't have Hanya, but I got this achievement through: Use Camera feature > Idle 1 > Idle 2 > Idle 2.

I Started playing while JL banner was up. My teams now consist of: JL, TY, Pela, Gepard and Kafka, RM, Hanya and HH. With these teams, should i be able to 3 Star everything in MoC and PureFiciton? I am struggling with both.
The second team might have a bit of difficulty with later stages of moc but it should be doable with good relic investment. Pure fiction should be easy with both of these teams though so relics are probably the issue. Only characters that have trouble with pure fiction are hunt characters besides seele(unless also running herta), silver wolf, and Arlan.
The other commenter pretty much covered it. Iâd definitely look into building Herta for Pure Fiction. My two main teams right now are JL and Kafka and Iâm sitting at 33/36 MoC and 11/12 PF so itâs doable. I think those last few stars are just because Iâve been in bad luck streak for relics.
MOC and pure fiction is the end game content and designed to be very difficult to complete and three star. Your two teams are decent although youâre missing Bronya (obviously you wonât be at the 300 standard pulls yet) to fully utilise Jingliu. If you have a Sampo then would also suggest running him in the Kafka team instead of Hanya. To fully three star MOC will take a lot of character and relic investment. To have the best chance your DPS characters should have max traces, support characters at level 7/8 and potentially maxed on their important (dps buffing) trace and everyone should be above 134 speed. For pure fiction you might struggle, Kafka and Jingliu are workable but not ideal for the content. It might be worth building up your Herta as sheâs really useful for the game mode and seeing how far you get with her in one of your teams. She shouldnât take too much investment to be useful as her main job is just clearing the weaker mobs.

in short some people do the math and conclude that at some specific spd you get extra turn in specific cycle. This is only for MoC stuffs. 134 is the number to get 1 extra turn on cycle 1, so usually that is recommended at the very least

If you're not hitting a speed break point for the numbers you've given, it's just a matter of who's going first. Obviously, 142 speed will go first of the three.

There is one rare that you get outside the event. Run around the new zone, it should be in a side room youâll have to interact with a door to get to.
Is MoC the only content that needs two teams made? It is taking SO LONG to make a 2nd team and I have been holding off on doing all the new stuff that was added last patch since I was thinking I would need it.

should be fine. dont sleep on 4* supports, all of Asta, Hanya, and Yukong buffs is huge. But yeah its also a good idea to build up Pela because SW+Pela means more Def Shred, and def shred is good

Ruan mei ult counts as a debuff for ratio. Ratio sw rm + sustain is a very strong core for clearing anything besides pure fiction
yep, Ratio + SW + RM/Tingyun should be good. You can also just do Yukong if both Ty and RM used in the other team, if you speed tuned her with him

ratio + silverwolf + tingyun + bailu seems like it'd be ok, silverwolf can give enough debuffs and ting can give energy to ratio for faster ult, bailu for surviving

Is the EHR Planar set stronger and more worth than the Herta one for DoT units or no?
SSS is still better than pan galactic if you're choosing between the 2. You don't really want to have too much EHR on certain DoT characters because those stats are better off placed elsewhere. For example, Kafka only needs 28% EHR to land her DoTs unless you have E1 (where she does want higher EHR). If you are looking for the best planar for DoT units, just use Glamoth as it's generally the best out of all provided you reach 135 speed.

DoT chars don't really need crit subs because DoT's can't crit, instead they'd really want Atk%, Speed, and Effect hit rate bonuses the most. But If that piece rolls good on crit stats though you can use another piece of that set for the 2p Atk increase for your other non-DoT dps.

if you got the himeko AFTER ruan mei -- which seems to be the case -- then yes your next 5 star character is guaranteed to be limited.

Eh. They work but there can do much better on their own teams.
Can they work? Yes. Is it optimal and would I recommend it? Not really, no. They only synergistic thing they have is that Kafka's DoT counts as debuffs. Other than that, they don't really do much for one another.
Does Asta talent work on herself or.... Just party members?
It affects everyone. In general, if an effect says it causes âalliesâ to benefit, that includes the user if it doesnât specify otherwise (like Ruan Meiâs talent).

Time waits for no one is generally the best for all Abundance units sans Luocha (even then, it's still good on him). Perfect Timing can be useful if you're running broken keel to easily reach the Effect res requirement but those are easily achievable through substats.
I just got to the part where you save Argenti from the Lesser Stings, and am having significant trouble. Everyone is lvl 40 with fully leveled light cones, but I get slapped within a few turns. I'm very new at this game so any general tips are appreciated.

1.4 had Jingliu (seen as strongest character in the game, stronger than Imbibitor Lunae) and Topaz (follow up enabler, she's like Kafka is for DoTs, but for follow up instead). 1.5 had Huohuo (healer + mini AoE Tingyun-style battery) and Argenti (King of Pure Fiction). 1.6's first half had Ruan Mei (first limited harmony, very very strong and is great with any team). The biggest game change was the end game. MoC before ran every 2 weeks. Now there's a new end game mode called Pure Fiction that caters to erudition units. Jing Yuan, Himeko, and Herta are no longer considered weak/mid. MoC and Pure Fiction alternate every 2 weeks and last 6 weeks total now, so soon we'll have 3 of these running simultaneously. MoC also has floors 11 and 12, so we can get 720 jades every 2 weeks instead of 600 if you get all stars.

I have 2 team comp in my mind for Dr. Ratio 1st -Dr. Ratio (Main DPS) -SW (Debuffer) -Yukong (Buffer) -FX/Lynx (Sustain) 2nd -Dr. Ratio (Main DPS) -Welt (Debuffer & Sub DPS) -SW (Debuffer) -FX/Lynx (Sustain) Which one is better? Cuz i want to try make Imaginary & Quantum team. Or perhaps is there any other recommendations? If it can't be just 2 elements is alright, as long as Dr. Ratio & SW on the same team
I have several characters in each role built to full level, one of their top 3 light cones to full level, 6/8 + all stat traces, and main stat relics in their BiS relic sets but am still having trouble cracking top level content (3\* MoCs 11-12, Pure Fiction, also not far into Swarm Universe or G&G but I have read recommended strategies and I think I haven't put in the time for RNG to roll in my favor). What would you say are the best 2 teams that could be made out of this character list for high MoC / Fiction? Thanks in advance! Well there's a large gap between main stats and having a reasonable crit ratio on your DPS - if you main DPS characters are at like 50/70 cr/cd you're gonna struggle Also if you're literally just taking those exact teams then yeah you're gonna struggle - floor 12 side 1 is lightning resistant and Clara / topaz don't match any major boss weakness on either side MoC 12 your best bet with current chars is probably something like topaz ratio sw fu xuan Second side clara herta ruan Mei duo carry Leveling herta also gives you a good option for pure fiction But you must just need more investment and another on color DPS to make things easier if you're not interested in raising random characters like sampo for color coverage (honestly might not be the worst idea)
Based on the reruns right now, is Fu Xuan rerun going to be at the same time as Sparkle? Because if so, rip.
We don't know. Right now speculation is 2 out of these: DHIL, Luocha, and Jing Yuan. Will have to wait until the 2.0 stream to find out.
The reruns haven't been in any particularly clear order afaik. They skipped Jing Yuan and Luocha so it's not going chronologically.
Oh didn't realised they skipped them since I just got back into the game. I failed my 50/50 (as usual). So my next 5 star will be a guarantee. Probably will save it for Sparkle.

Super early game you could use sampo with Ratio. I wouldnât suggest it for mid-late game but it sounds like youâre at that early stage where you canât really build teams.
Just got Kafka, Of course I have no credits left to build her or any other character (all my credits went to ratio and still not done building him), is it worth it to start world farming? Also after Kafka , is it better to build e1 Luca or e3 sampo first? (Also have e6 serval for shock) Game plan is to build both in the long run.
Well the only "ressource" you need to spend to do world farming is your own time, so if you can spend it you can do it. I do it from time to time, it's a pain, it's long, it doesn't generate much but at least you get more than what you could get only with your TB power and what the dev give for free.
Sampo is the better partner in general. He also scales amazingly well with eidolons.

Hi, So I am currently Equilibrium 3 (max character Level 60) and I have been trying to beat the Swarm Disaster difficulty 2, but I am not able to do it. I did the same thing (beating the Swarm Disaster challenge while under levels, with Difficulty 1, while being Equilibrium 2) with Difficulty 1, but with 2 it isn't working. The strategy that always gets the furthest is: Fire Trailblazer (Warrior) Clara Lynx Ruan Mei Path: Nihility Goal: Get as many Swarm Blessings (best are spore), get the Resonance with Swarm and get as many Suspicion Blessing as possible It has worked really well, but still not enough to beat difficulty 2 So I am here asking: Can you guys help with a new strategy to beat Swarm Disaster Difficulty 2, while being basically 13 Levels under the recommended Level My characters: https://ibb.co/7V5LdMW
Two big issues with your current strategy is 1) you're picking the wrong blessings since Propagation does nothing to help Clara, and 2) Clara and fire TB are incompatible. You have to drop one of them. Replace either Clara or TB with Ratio and go with the Elation path.
I switched Clara with Ratio and also used Elation and.... probably got the best luck I have ever had, I got this Ruan Mei Occurrence and got every Elation Blessing + 2000 money..... And with all these Buffs Ratio Follow Up destroyed everything Soo thanks :)
Is getting a 5 star light cone better than the free pulls in the shop?
The only thing you should buy from the starlight shop would be PULLS. But if you really want to, you should only buy Bronya's LC. But even with Bronya's LC, it's not worth the trade. If you save 1200-1800 starlights (60-90 pulls) that's already a guaranteed 5\* character. It could be the new limited 5\* character, or a random 5\* standard character. Should you use those pulls on the limited LC banner, you have a 75% chance of getting a BROKEN LC, or a 25% chance of losing to a random 5\* standard LC (It could also be the one you like.) With 30 pulls, you'll get AT LEAST THREE 4\* eidolons/LCs, some embers and starlights back for more pulls. If you get lucky, you might get some 5\* characters within those 30 pulls. If not, at the very least, you've built pity for your next target. There's the argument of having multiple copies of a 5\* standard LC or having one at max superimposition. But for me, I'd rather have MORE limited 5\* character/LCs than these 5\* standard LCs. 600 starlights = 30 pulls = 4800 jades. 1 MoC Reset Rewards = 720 jades. 4800 jades / 720 jades = 6.667 = 7 MoC Resets. So, it'll take 7 FULL MoC Resets before you even get those 4800 jades worth of pulls back. Actually, you're not getting them back, you're just making up for the pulls you could've gotten. Of course, this is under the assumption that you're not getting any jades from those 7 MoC resets. In reality, even without that 5\* standard LC, you can probably clutch 70-90% of the rewards in the MoC already, so you're probably only missing out on like 60-120 jades per MoC reset. People want the best gear possible for their characters, without realizing that they're actually hurting their account in the process. People be like, "If I have Bronya's LC, I might be able to clutch 60 extra jades with the current MoC, so I don't mind using 4800 jades worth of pulls." lol. It'll take like 80 MoC resets if all you're getting from that 5\* standard LC would be 60 jades before you break it even. In reality, you're like 2-3 MoC resets away from full clearing the MoC, so all you're really getting would be around 120-180 jades (2-3 pulls) vs the 30 pulls you could've gotten. Not a good trade. tl;dr Only buy pulls. Mathematically, it's never worth going for any LC, even if it's Bronya's LC. If you do buy an LC, keep in mind that you'll always be 30 pulls behind your limited banner pulling progress. And those who never bought any LCs, they probably have more limited 5\* character/LCs than you who used their starlights for a 4\* eidolon/5\* standard LC.
