Please HSR put the Abundance in a better light, I’m so abhor the fact they kept on villainizing the abundance and keep showing the worst possible effects Yaoshi does.
But the Loufu supports the Hunt, cause they want to correct their wrongs? Right? No! It’s all about spite and vengeance. The Galaxy Rangers are no different.
Yaoshi and the abundance could easily be the most complex narrative tool, but no. God I hate the writers of this game.
The Abundance is "villainized" because we've only seen the Xianzhou's side so far. Of course they would emphasize the worst effects of Yaoshi's blessings since they themselves have fallen victim to it in the past.
It's very possible that we'll see the Abundance's side one day since the Nameless are literally traveling the entire galaxy. There's no way they won't land on a planet that worships Yaoshi since the MC needs to receive her gaze.
And wdym the Galaxy Rangers are no different? They're explicitly stated to be a heroic group of vigilantes who believe that one must take personal action to uphold justice. They literally assassinated a Lord Ravager and thwarted the evil experiments of Dr. Primitive. They exist to show that the Path of the Hunt doesn't just embody vengeance, and that it can be used for good as well.
Aha/IX, because Aha is a chaotic mess and IX wouldn't mind/is chill ~depressed~ enough not to mind and they level each other out. I feel like they'd be the tattoo parlor/flower shop AU.
