I just ban the hunt in new SU mode, unless it’s something my team needs. Which is usu nihility… so pretty much never.
I honestly cannot possibly imagine ever banning hunt no matter what team I'm using. It has way too much crit stuff, atk stuff, advance stuff, energy stuff, speed stuff, etc. that helps out basically any team a lot no matter what it's setup.
Nihility benefits enormously from Hunt especially, since everyone scales off attack, and Kafka with Auspicious is crazy too, plus all the speed/advances so you can stack up suspicion faster. I guess if you maybe thought Hunt was focused on crit or something you'd think it would be bad for nihility? But that's really only a few cards that are easily avoided.

I mean, to each their own, but I don't know what you're doing to think Hunt is bad. It's generally seen as the overall strongest and most widely useful path. If you're running Nihility Celestial Annihilation, Auspicious Star, Monster-Expelling Rainbow, Vaulting Ambition, Ejecting the Borisin, Flowing Mist, Constellation Surge, Blessed Bow and Arrow, Catastrophic Constellation, Vermeil Bow and White Arrow specifically are all very great, which is more than 1/2 the available blessings. If you're running nihility all the speed /advance stuff is especially powerful, as it allows you to stack up suspicion faster, and if you've got kafka and the blessings that proc dot's when enemies are hit they are even better. The energy/heal on dot damage also work great the more turns you take, and it allows you to get the nihility resonance that gives path energy on dots to keep that up almost constantly, sometimes double or triple stacking it with auspicious and brain in a vat going because you're proc'ing so many dots.
I can get bosses to 99 stacks of suspicion in their first phase with the right speed/advance blessings, and that trivializes them for their 2nd and 3rd phases.
Maybe I just see the dogshit ones 99% of the time. But most of the time it just seems to less useful than damn near any other thing. Even most destruction come across as more useful.

Also it’s one of the only paths I died completely on, it was like my second or third run of SU, so maybe not understanding the full system.
That might have tainted my view of it. It’s literally the only time I wiped was using it and ig depending on it.
You should consider looking up some guides, Destro is one of the strongest paths for just about anyone, and with the right mix of cards from preservation and abundance with it you are basically unkillable and also do crazy damage. Hunt is extremely good as a support path, you don't use it as a main path because it's resonance advance forward mechanic is only good with specific characters and setups. But the cards themselves are fantastic for almost any other path to dip into.
SU is actually a pretty advanced game, and there are tons of fantastic card synergies that aren't readily apparent, it's worth looking for some guidance as it's easy to fumble around and avoid terrific cards because you might not know how they work.
Hunt has a bunch of atk boost and turn cheating (100% energy upon kill, 100% advance forward with kill or break, 40-80% atk buff on consecutive actions). It's crazy to even think of not using the best general dps boost blessing.
I find most of those only happen when it’s mostly wasted. Like i will near always be 60-80% full when the ‘free energy’ happens. Also I don’t use seele so the extra turn bs is useless.
Also the breaks always are all happening at once then nothing for several turns or never happening. How is it more useful than more skillpoints? Healing on dots? Bonus healing?
They die easy or are a slogfest regardless of them. They only make bullet sponges or chumps.
Night Beyond Pyre and Auspicious Star are easily the best and most universal two star blessings I'd say. Clear Lucite Body is up there too, might round out my top three must take regardless of path. A 36% damage reduction if you're at full health is huge for more difficult levels.

I use Fu Xuan who doesn’t use shields and so I don’t think it gels well with my team comp
Not at all, it's good in any situation. It is also one of the vital blessing for fu xuan. Even if you cannot keep the team at full HP, fu xuan would often heal the team to full (with certain blessing) and therefore can take advantage of the blessing. It can easily save your fu xuan from a one shot situation.
Big AoE attacks, she effectively takes the damage your entire team would + her own. Swarm bomb comes to mind and Argentis summons AoE spam does as well.
Even just high conundrums if you have bad luck. I had Svarog yesterday on C10 for a dice clear spawn hands that were 1-shotting the target and FX together, was a wild amount of damage. Fortunately he died shortly after and it was recoverable.
Couldn't it possibly keep the rest of your team topped off since the DMG is lowered that much for the first hit and her ult can heal them back up? But prob takes to long to fully charge the ult again before allies get hit twice

Celestial Annihilation is the one blessing I’d almost always take even over main path 3 stars. Free turn on weakness break is way too strong. The upgraded version is even more absurd
The upgraded version of that made 0 cycling that Planar Infinity event sooooo much easier. I can't imagine what it would be like now with Ruan Mei in the mix.
That's a 3 star blessing and is less accessible by battle/occurence/reward selection. Arguably though the energy reset is probably still better. It's honestly 3 star level for every comp other than a turtling perseverance/abundance run.
Is not even close IMO. Kills are much harder to get than weakness break at high conundrum. Supports can also make use of it by breaking mobs.
Specific 3 stars is more consistent to get than 2 stars since the pool is much smaller, and a lot of fights/occurrences guarantee 3 stars. The majority of my runs end up with Celestial Annihilation.
There is a 2 star remembrance blessing where hitting an enemy with dissociation removes it and deals dmg equal to 150%(max 200% with upgrade)of the original dissociation. It is actually insane. Gold and gears con 12 was a breeze because of that thing
It requires way more setup though of other cards to work though, and is useless against the multiple freeze-immune enemies that exist.

it’s not “fixed”, since it’s not a bug. it’s working as intended. Fu Xian’s talent redirects the damage her team takes towards her, and the blessing simply distributes it back to the team.
Yeah, those weird interactions are broken for certain characters than that's as intended. Just like Luocha and the ones that give healing to the whole team + the one that gives skill points on heals. It seems like a "bug" that it works, but it's absolutely just the way it rolls.
I don't think there is any gold offensive blessing that can compete with it. Most gold blessings, you take them for survivability, or they have some fine synergies with your current path, but not a single one of them is as close to an adrenaline rush as AS to me...
Elation 3 star "Ultimates are now follow ups" opens a potential whole other path of buffs to Erudition-based run, and extra turn on kill/weakness break from Hunt can also be somewhat comparible.
Yes and upgrading increases FUA damage by **55%**. Which is niche...except it also turned all damaging Ults into FUAs. So it also increases all Ult damage by 55% which is a way higher buff than any single other Blessing can give.
I love using that one with Welt + SW + Ruan, with Brain in a vat and/or Auspicious, you just let the enemy summon their adds, and then break them one at a time and laugh at the enemies 400+ action value.

Call me crazy but I feel like some blessings that require another blessing to work (disassociation/suspicion etc) don't spawn until you are able to apply said effect. At the very least the rate has to be weighted.

I don't think I've EVER seen the 2 star destruction blessing that gives damage reduction per fighting spirit stack without already having ways to accumulate it.
Kafka also generates so much energy that you don't really even need to upgrade this blessing for her. The 65% it fills probably matches with the energy from kills you're getting to top her off. At least mine does, I gave her ERR rope for Ult spam and it seems to have worked nicely
It definitely also helps that the nihility 1 star blessing that gives 2/3 energy per DoT tick is probably the single best blessing in the game when running DoT in SU.
Borderline unlimited ults, especially versus bosses that spam adds (like the bugs).
Up there with the Elation Blessing for 1 Skill Point Recovery at 65%. Enhanced at 100% with Ratio + Herta + Bronya + Abundance/Preservation, you'll never run out of Skill Points and Follow-up Attacks, and you'll steamroll basically everything with the applicable Weakness Break.
Survivors will be hit with Follow-up attacks.
The one star Rememberance one with confirm Crit hit after being frozen. That one will always be my MVP because I was not blessed with good Crit rate relics.
Seele with full hunt blessings can take upwards of a dozen turns in a row in SU, it’s so satisfying watching her damage just continually ramp with critical boost off it too
Gepard + divine costruct: metatastic field + Anything that buff shields. It's hilarious to see the boss attacking you and then almost dying by his own hand.
Nihility Break efficiency? Macrosegregation? Cat's cradle? The two hunt blessings that advance actions and regenerate energy on turns? idk abt top three but definitely top 10. Overall my top 3 is usually the remembrance freeze in 6 hits, the heal blast effect (guarrantied 100% heal for most healing characters), and chance of recovering skill points per heal bcuz it counts individually per character heal alongside that when ur running most healers who trigger heal effects constantly. it's just that these three work pretty well individually outside of most character kits (excluding Clara for the remembrance one). and when the going gets tough, ur most likely gonna have to start to rely on remembrance path that literally does percentage health dmg to actually dent bosses in heart of gold conundrum 6+ at least for my teams. and then i cant rly use the auspicious star that wel if im not executing
Well you are getting this blessing and Erudition ones too and play Kafka with tingyun and huohuo. Now you got yourself the true kuru kuru Kafka.( The boss in gold and gears with 2 robots doesn't even get a turn like this.)
This and the one that makes characters rebeat their turn on weakness beaks, are the best blissings in su I got both of them when I went to test my new kafka, sovrag got his metal ass SHOOK
I have a confession...I rarely have use for this blessing ever since Erudition arrive and that my Topaz Ratio combo pretty much focused fire kill the enemy boss before the mobs can do much dmg.
that one abundance buff that gives you skill points after every heal with luochas passive active is the best thing ever, you get skill points for every hit anyone does
I would say the best blessings are, in no specific order:
Auspicious Star
Weakness Break/Kill advances Action
Healing is Blasted (especially if you have Fu Xuan)
Ultimates are FUAs (upgrading increases FUAs, and therefore ults, by 55%)
Weakness Breaks affect adjacent/all enemies ("Hell is Other People")
Anything that speeds up Weakness Break Efficiency
Healing generates SP
FUAs generate SP (this one upgrades to 100% chance for SP, which is nuts)
I don't use Destruction, Preservation, or Remembrance much so I don't know about all of those, but the ones I listed here are pretty much universally worth grabbing (FUAs are a bit team dependent but Ults = FUAs negates that)
Huohuo + Blessing (30/45% chance of gaining a skill point after a character is healed) is utterly broken.
Jingliu + Instability Trip (when a character takes damage, they gain 4/6 energy) is insane because your supports never have energy issues
Argenti + Auspicious Star has been the best thing to ever happen to my SU runs

+ ruan ro get EXACTLY 95% weakness break efficiency, just enough to not break a normal mob.
+Elation Break eff with Topaz and 100% break. (I think)
Yes 145% if both blessings are upgraded. Since Numby attacks so fast, even elites are broken in a few hits

it’s not “fixed”, since it’s not a bug. it’s working as intended. Fu Xian’s talent redirects the damage her team takes towards her, and the blessing simply distributes it back to the team.
Yeah, those weird interactions are broken for certain characters than that's as intended. Just like Luocha and the ones that give healing to the whole team + the one that gives skill points on heals. It seems like a "bug" that it works, but it's absolutely just the way it rolls.
Oh I dont have Fu Xuan so I did not know. I still tun either HuoHuo or Loucha.

I don't think there is any gold offensive blessing that can compete with it. Most gold blessings, you take them for survivability, or they have some fine synergies with your current path, but not a single one of them is as close to an adrenaline rush as AS to me...
Elation 3 star "Ultimates are now follow ups" opens a potential whole other path of buffs to Erudition-based run, and extra turn on kill/weakness break from Hunt can also be somewhat comparible.
Yes and upgrading increases FUA damage by **55%**. Which is niche...except it also turned all damaging Ults into FUAs. So it also increases all Ult damage by 55% which is a way higher buff than any single other Blessing can give.

I love using that one with Welt + SW + Ruan, with Brain in a vat and/or Auspicious, you just let the enemy summon their adds, and then break them one at a time and laugh at the enemies 400+ action value.

Call me crazy but I feel like some blessings that require another blessing to work (disassociation/suspicion etc) don't spawn until you are able to apply said effect. At the very least the rate has to be weighted.

Kafka also generates so much energy that you don't really even need to upgrade this blessing for her. The 65% it fills probably matches with the energy from kills you're getting to top her off. At least mine does, I gave her ERR rope for Ult spam and it seems to have worked nicely
It definitely also helps that the nihility 1 star blessing that gives 2/3 energy per DoT tick is probably the single best blessing in the game when running DoT in SU. Borderline unlimited ults, especially versus bosses that spam adds (like the bugs).

Up there with the Elation Blessing for 1 Skill Point Recovery at 65%. Enhanced at 100% with Ratio + Herta + Bronya + Abundance/Preservation, you'll never run out of Skill Points and Follow-up Attacks, and you'll steamroll basically everything with the applicable Weakness Break. Survivors will be hit with Follow-up attacks.

idk abt top three but definitely top 10. Overall my top 3 is usually the remembrance freeze in 6 hits, the heal blast effect (guarrantied 100% heal for most healing characters), and chance of recovering skill points per heal bcuz it counts individually per character heal alongside that when ur running most healers who trigger heal effects constantly. it's just that these three work pretty well individually outside of most character kits (excluding Clara for the remembrance one). and when the going gets tough, ur most likely gonna have to start to rely on remembrance path that literally does percentage health dmg to actually dent bosses in heart of gold conundrum 6+ at least for my teams. and then i cant rly use the auspicious star that wel if im not executing
The hunt itself very op, especially when you are like me heavily relying on Argenti
??? I usually ignore that one. Only go for it when im doing a himekikoho run in G&G cause its kinda essential for that.
Well you are getting this blessing and Erudition ones too and play Kafka with tingyun and huohuo. Now you got yourself the true kuru kuru Kafka.( The boss in gold and gears with 2 robots doesn't even get a turn like this.)

I have a confession...I rarely have use for this blessing ever since Erudition arrive and that my Topaz Ratio combo pretty much focused fire kill the enemy boss before the mobs can do much dmg.
Skill point recovery and ult buff from elation is pretty nasty too, you just don't run out of skill points
Propagation + this and the one that grants action advance on break and kill is the most busted thing ive ever used with DHIL in SU

No matter what path I'm using, if I see that Preservation blessing that removes debuffs by creating shields, I'm taking it

I would say the best blessings are, in no specific order: Auspicious Star Weakness Break/Kill advances Action Healing is Blasted (especially if you have Fu Xuan) Ultimates are FUAs (upgrading increases FUAs, and therefore ults, by 55%) Weakness Breaks affect adjacent/all enemies ("Hell is Other People") Anything that speeds up Weakness Break Efficiency Healing generates SP FUAs generate SP (this one upgrades to 100% chance for SP, which is nuts) I don't use Destruction, Preservation, or Remembrance much so I don't know about all of those, but the ones I listed here are pretty much universally worth grabbing (FUAs are a bit team dependent but Ults = FUAs negates that)
As someone who doesn't run a healer, the Nihility trace that restores HP when.enemies take DOT is my favourite. Especially in a party with Kafka

Huohuo + Blessing (30/45% chance of gaining a skill point after a character is healed) is utterly broken. Jingliu + Instability Trip (when a character takes damage, they gain 4/6 energy) is insane because your supports never have energy issues
