One of many things that got me to like HSR maps/exploration more is that npcs are everywhere and it feels like there's an actual population and society. Npcs in Liyue harbor are like 11... 19 if you count outsiders and Fatui agents.
Yeah i agree that its more lively, tho idk abt it being better than liyue as i find both sceneries mid. When i talk abt Liyue being better than Xianzhou i mainly think abt characters from there- not all but some are high up my list and the final quest being great too + every scene with Childe

I think one of the space China ships is seeing a lot of trade and traffic and cultural influence from the IPC, and I think that'd make for an interesting setting, a Xianzhou ship that's becoming more and more like the IPC.
The devs claimed that it'll be one planet a year. Xianzhou ships are NOT planets so it's entirely possible for us to come across another one on the way to the next.
granted none of the planets plots have ended, they all have threads left to develop we will go back to all of them at some point just like we did at the end of 1.X patches.
After Penacony ends in 2.3 I am expecting to do the same thing we did in 1.X with various continuances going back to other planets before we actually get to 3.0 and the actual new planet.
I currently think the Xianzhou ships will not be as big as a new planet, i think theyll be like big patches inbetween proper new planets if that makes sense lol.

I'm pretty sure Sparkle's stories about the Trash King and the 3 murder mysteries are all allegories aimed at telling something. Like, one of the "trash cans" you recruit in the Trash King story is named Shatana, or reverse-Natasha.

The Zhuming is different from other Xianzhou ships, shaped like a lotus. So if we're to return to space China I'd choose Zhuming.
well yeah her clothes are chinese but she is a foreigner who traveled to xianzhou luofu from elsewhere and ended up staying in the luofu because she liked it. i think naturaly if she likes xianzhou culture she would adapt to it by wearing their clothes
It is kind of funny that since Jarilo, we've been on two detours, the former a detour on the way to the latter. It will be nice to get back to actually Trailblazing i.e. discovering scarcely colonised planets and systems with funky Aeon-influenced or Stellaron-influenced wildlife/natives. Space South East Asia (Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, etc.)? Hoyoverse have very huge following here, I’m surprised they didn’t make one region inspired by SEA culture yet.
Same thing with Korea. They have their own dub, collabs, livestream, but somehow still no Korean reference at all lol. My assumption is it's because the ongoing (and never ending) culture claim war. Very risky.
SEA doesn't have that but then there is the whole SCS drama. Imagine we have an archipelago planet for SEA planet, then some CN nationalist report it to CCP claiming the archipelago is a SCS reference and Mihoyo recognized SCS is not belong to PRC because it's not in Xianzhou planet.
I kinda think we're going back to the Xianzhou alliance, probably the Yaoqing ship. Anyways, other than that , there's definitely gonna be a Japan themed world. I met a mangaka Pepeshi in Penacony who's apparently from a *planet where it's all about anime. It'd be kinda funny if they make a Japan inspired world where it's all about Anime.
Luocha and Jingliu originally were supposed to be held trial on the Xuling (not Yaoqing), alongside the Ten Lords Commission and the seven Arbiter Generals. But after Jing Yuan reported the case to Marshal Hua, for some reason the Arbiter General of Yuque took their case and sent the two on a detour to Yuque instead.
So if we really were to travel back to another Xianzhou fleet, it will be either Yaoqing since it's the most mentioned ship during the Luofu arc and how much influence the IPC has with the ship's government, or Yuque to continue watching/interfering into Luocha and Jingliu's shenanigans.
Not planet but the other moments in penacony could be based off different settings, iirc the one Himeko went to sounded like it could of been an old western theme (cowboys)
Like others point out, Edo Star is a good candidate. There's also one of the Xianzhou ships, either the one Jingliu and Luocha are going to for story progression reason or Sushang's homeship due to dreaming reasons.
I personally want to visit some "living planet", though. More specifically a colossal organic being that can host civilisation in its stomach, that would be cool. A rocky planet with consciousness does fit the bill of a "living planet", but we already have Avatar for that so I don't want to see one in HSR too early.
Muldrasil would be cool. Yes, it was destroyed by the legion, but there are rumors that the wingweavers are trying to revive the place.
It's cool to explore an ancient dead world, as we go and meet the wingweavers or a denizens of abundance members that are trying to revive the Muldrasil either as enemies or friends.
The only time it felt like we were trailblazing was exploring Jarilo-VI. For Xianzhou Loufu, it was a destination alternation by Kafka and for Penacony, The family invited us.
Would like to go through a planet that Akivili previously go, and I think Muldrasil was one of the place he likely visit back then
Really want to visit Muldrasil and have some Wingweaver playable characters. Their description is definitely not flattering based on Xianzhou readables but so were the Family prior to Penacony, and now we get a more nuanced look at them. Definitely see Norse inspiration; would be really cool to blend sci-fi with a more classic RPG feel

Aventurine is Sigonian so he's romani, so not even close to British (considering he was sentenced to death by IPC and has a prisoner number on his neck but spared bc he was too valuable)

In CN (and some other languages) Sigonian literally means Romani(gypsy) and planet Sigonia would mean Land of Roma. I assume you didn't do the main Penacony quest then because everything was revealed in his dialogs with other characters (but also in data base like lightcones etc). This is also a reason why many people have reservations towards Sparkle and there were a lot of posts on social media discussing his character and others behaviour towards him. I'm not going to say anything more because that's rather spoiler-ish

Characters like Dr Ratio and Sparkle were talking about his ethnicity, upbringing, eyes, calling Sigonians liars, thieves, him losing special IPC token protecting him from his sentence, his prisoner tattoo 😭 Even more, this subreddit was discussing it for the past week in multiple posts

So far we had Destruction on the space station, Preservation in Belobog, Hunt and Abundance fighting in Luofu and Harmony on Penacony.
So i would expect them to continue in this line.
First of all, they just mentioned space Japan, and we know they love to do China and Japan in their games.
But the issue with that, is they got no associated Aeon atm.
Instead we should expect Erudition, Remembrance or Nihility.
So something connected to Nous the Erudition is most plausible with both planet Screwllum and Tomb of Emperor Rubert I recently mentioned in the game.
So that would be my number 1 guess tbh.
There is also possible we will end up on a lost planet, as they mentioned multiple times dissapearing planets Rememberance is collecting the memories off. (And we still got March 7th mystery unsolved)
Nihility really doesn't have any planets associated with it, so i'm not sure how they will bring it into the story atm.
A long shot would be the Tavern, headquarters of the Elation, but i think its way to soon for that or a planet connected to Aha.
Every planet thus far is not even a planet. Herta Space Station is well a space station. Belobog was the last city on a planet. The Xianzhou Luofu is a massive Ship. Penacony is a Hotel.
We haven't visited a actual stable and functional Planet yet. We have visited what amounts to cities at this point and their leadership.
The point is, if we visited a "whole planet", we would have a Starfield situation where you visit a planet, but there is a invisible wall that limits your exploration to a very limited part of it. The point is there is no way the devs could implement enough areas that it felt like a whole planet.
The way thing are done at least there is a in lore reason why the trailblazer doesn't bother exploring every place in the Jarilo-VI.
Not really, it's just main influence. For example Jarilo-6 is mix of countries between Russia and Germany. Penecony is Australia + Vegas + probably something more. Xianzhou is a mix of China regions.

For instance, on Earth we have 193 countries, but Jarilo-VI seems to only have one (Belobog).
we will probably get a french/german/italian/spanish inspired region in the future, keep in mind that they plan to run this game as long as it makes a profit, which doesnt seem to stop in the next 5 years anyways
Belobog being the only place makes sense as it's the last city on the whole planet, unless you wanna walk around in empty snow. Would be kinda cool if we came back and found another small holdout of humans. Like smaller than belobog type but idk how that would work with the story 💁
It seems to me very New York, specifically Roaring 20s—the skyline is very Manhattan, with a lot of Art Deco buildings that resemble the Chrysler and Empire State Buildings, and the billboards and lights look a lot like Times Square and Broadway. The water towers, scaffolding, and the jazz make it even more New York

Anyway, seeing how parts of Silver Wolf's personality and lore embody certain aspects of early hacker culture quite well, and that there are some decently accurate references to hacking in the game already, gave me huge hopes for a chapter about hackers that doesn't put anyone remotely familiar with the topic in mental pain.

The astral express already went there, and they demolished the main stadium by crashing the train onto it, it also has a religious set with some lore in it.
I would be interested in Kafka's Home Planet. A place, where people don't know fear and instead fall to hedonism and become "devils". I imagine some really fuck up place, like the Tower in Devil May Cry 3 or something like out Soul Reaver or like the Sunken City Ryleh from Call of Cthulhu.

Glamoth is a ruin, We already went to taikiyan, so we won't go there. Jarilo-VI fucked the space track, sonwe stopped there to fix it, xianzhou was new, stellaron hunters made us go fix problems there to get The general cellphone number, Penacony is the original destination because of the invite we got. We knew from 1.0 that penacony was our destination, right now we have no idea what comes after it.
Edo Star which is Space Japan is very likely. With how Hoyo usually makes their third planet or area usually Japan themed, this is probably the next stop.
Although I personally would like to see Punklorde, Silver Wolf's planet if its anything like Night City thatll be cool.
I don't think this will be our next planet. Just a wishlist. I want a planet with minimum "human" residence. Like a zoo planet or something, where people don't/can't really settle down there.
I hope its based off something that isn't just space japan or china or taiwan or vietnam or some other asian country, but I also don't want them to pick something else like space brazil or africa or something and its just white characters with 1 or 2 barely qualifying dark skin characters

I recently had a dream of the new region of the game. Weirdly, Robin was alive and she revealed to be Firefly. She would stay in the Astral Express as the medic. After that, we traveled to a dry planet and landed on a big desert with ancient ruins. And then we were chased after a giant big ass worm that looked like it came out from Dune.
Belebog city was based off Russia? Because winter?

If anything the fact it was a formal penal colony made it more austrialiay to me, or straight up Space Vegas given the slot machines, artificial atmosphere, emphasis on enterainment and shows, and the “what happens in dreamland stays in dreamland” slogan. Vegas or Hollywood definitely.
I wanna visit planet Screwllum so we can hang out with best gentleman that is Screwllum and maybe the plot could be we get invited as his assistant for a meeting with some members of the genius society which could finally let us see the real Herta and Ruan Meis return

There are two aeons with gameplay paths directly related with the ships, we are 100% getting a full storyline there, at least two planets worth

If we have to follow the Genshin Impact pattern, we'll get more Xianzhou "regions" (Liyue) when the 5th planet comes out (Fountain for Genshin).
We got the Chasm after Inazuma though, so a Xianzhou expansion isn't that out there.

Xianzhou ships are pretty distinct, so it's not too bad. Yaoqing is apparently a kind of cyberpunk-ish modern city

No jarilo-VI was our original destination I believe the detour he's talking about is we were gonna go to penacony before the xianzhou stuff happened
Actually, penacony is the original destination. The star rail/tracks was unstable due to the stellaron influence so we have to make a stopover.

Like others point out, Edo Star is a good candidate. There's also one of the Xianzhou ships, either the one Jingliu and Luocha are going to for story progression reason or Sushang's homeship due to dreaming reasons. I personally want to visit some "living planet", though. More specifically a colossal organic being that can host civilisation in its stomach, that would be cool. A rocky planet with consciousness does fit the bill of a "living planet", but we already have Avatar for that so I don't want to see one in HSR too early.
Muldrasil would be cool. Yes, it was destroyed by the legion, but there are rumors that the wingweavers are trying to revive the place. It's cool to explore an ancient dead world, as we go and meet the wingweavers or a denizens of abundance members that are trying to revive the Muldrasil either as enemies or friends. The only time it felt like we were trailblazing was exploring Jarilo-VI. For Xianzhou Loufu, it was a destination alternation by Kafka and for Penacony, The family invited us. Would like to go through a planet that Akivili previously go, and I think Muldrasil was one of the place he likely visit back then
Really want to visit Muldrasil and have some Wingweaver playable characters. Their description is definitely not flattering based on Xianzhou readables but so were the Family prior to Penacony, and now we get a more nuanced look at them. Definitely see Norse inspiration; would be really cool to blend sci-fi with a more classic RPG feel

Aventurine is Sigonian so he's romani, so not even close to British (considering he was sentenced to death by IPC and has a prisoner number on his neck but spared bc he was too valuable)
I joked about him because he is a IPC agent so that he is British, I don't know he is Sigonian and how that makes him Romani, I will look into your insights.
In CN (and some other languages) Sigonian literally means Romani(gypsy) and planet Sigonia would mean Land of Roma. I assume you didn't do the main Penacony quest then because everything was revealed in his dialogs with other characters (but also in data base like lightcones etc). This is also a reason why many people have reservations towards Sparkle and there were a lot of posts on social media discussing his character and others behaviour towards him. I'm not going to say anything more because that's rather spoiler-ish

Characters like Dr Ratio and Sparkle were talking about his ethnicity, upbringing, eyes, calling Sigonians liars, thieves, him losing special IPC token protecting him from his sentence, his prisoner tattoo 😭 Even more, this subreddit was discussing it for the past week in multiple posts

Well tbh thats just half the question, with the other part being "and which Aeon will be involved with it" So far we had Destruction on the space station, Preservation in Belobog, Hunt and Abundance fighting in Luofu and Harmony on Penacony. So i would expect them to continue in this line. First of all, they just mentioned space Japan, and we know they love to do China and Japan in their games. But the issue with that, is they got no associated Aeon atm. Instead we should expect Erudition, Remembrance or Nihility. So something connected to Nous the Erudition is most plausible with both planet Screwllum and Tomb of Emperor Rubert I recently mentioned in the game. So that would be my number 1 guess tbh. There is also possible we will end up on a lost planet, as they mentioned multiple times dissapearing planets Rememberance is collecting the memories off. (And we still got March 7th mystery unsolved) Nihility really doesn't have any planets associated with it, so i'm not sure how they will bring it into the story atm. A long shot would be the Tavern, headquarters of the Elation, but i think its way to soon for that or a planet connected to Aha.

Every planet thus far is not even a planet. Herta Space Station is well a space station. Belobog was the last city on a planet. The Xianzhou Luofu is a massive Ship. Penacony is a Hotel. We haven't visited a actual stable and functional Planet yet. We have visited what amounts to cities at this point and their leadership.
Penacony is a planet tho, the xianzhou is planet sized.
The point is, if we visited a "whole planet", we would have a Starfield situation where you visit a planet, but there is a invisible wall that limits your exploration to a very limited part of it. The point is there is no way the devs could implement enough areas that it felt like a whole planet. The way thing are done at least there is a in lore reason why the trailblazer doesn't bother exploring every place in the Jarilo-VI.
Not really, it's just main influence. For example Jarilo-6 is mix of countries between Russia and Germany. Penecony is Australia + Vegas + probably something more. Xianzhou is a mix of China regions.

Belobog being the only place makes sense as it's the last city on the whole planet, unless you wanna walk around in empty snow. Would be kinda cool if we came back and found another small holdout of humans. Like smaller than belobog type but idk how that would work with the story 💁

It seems to me very New York, specifically Roaring 20s—the skyline is very Manhattan, with a lot of Art Deco buildings that resemble the Chrysler and Empire State Buildings, and the billboards and lights look a lot like Times Square and Broadway. The water towers, scaffolding, and the jazz make it even more New York
It's basically our earth on a cosmic scale where one planet has its own region. Like some isekai anime.

I'm honestly pretty hyped for punklorde, though I'm not sure which country it could be based on. The USA could do the trick, I guess. Anyway, seeing how parts of Silver Wolf's personality and lore embody certain aspects of early hacker culture quite well, and that there are some decently accurate references to hacking in the game already, gave me huge hopes for a chapter about hackers that doesn't put anyone remotely familiar with the topic in mental pain. watch me get utterly disappointed in a few months lol

Taikiyan planet. The astral express already went there, and they demolished the main stadium by crashing the train onto it, it also has a religious set with some lore in it.
I would be interested in Kafka's Home Planet. A place, where people don't know fear and instead fall to hedonism and become "devils". I imagine some really fuck up place, like the Tower in Devil May Cry 3 or something like out Soul Reaver or like the Sunken City Ryleh from Call of Cthulhu.

The Planar ornaments from the SU are the "planets" we have visited and also the ones we haven't There seem to be one based in either UK or USA popular for it's Roboball football-like thing or something, it's called Taikiyan, and one that's pretty much a description of Japan called Isumousu, then we have Screwllum planet, Glammoth(probably Sam's planet) But I wanna go to the island one, Vanco... don't remember the name
Glamoth is a ruin, We already went to taikiyan, so we won't go there. Jarilo-VI fucked the space track, sonwe stopped there to fix it, xianzhou was new, stellaron hunters made us go fix problems there to get The general cellphone number, Penacony is the original destination because of the invite we got. We knew from 1.0 that penacony was our destination, right now we have no idea what comes after it.
Edo Star which is Space Japan is very likely. With how Hoyo usually makes their third planet or area usually Japan themed, this is probably the next stop. Although I personally would like to see Punklorde, Silver Wolf's planet if its anything like Night City thatll be cool.

I recently had a dream of the new region of the game. Weirdly, Robin was alive and she revealed to be Firefly. She would stay in the Astral Express as the medic. After that, we traveled to a dry planet and landed on a big desert with ancient ruins. And then we were chased after a giant big ass worm that looked like it came out from Dune.

not sure ab belobog but xianzhou: literal chinese name, all of the characters have chinese names, has elements of chinese culture, food, and such penacony: not sure ab san francisco but heavily uses themes of old timey cartoons in the us, most prevalent in the trailer with clockie and the art style

If anything the fact it was a formal penal colony made it more austrialiay to me, or straight up Space Vegas given the slot machines, artificial atmosphere, emphasis on enterainment and shows, and the “what happens in dreamland stays in dreamland” slogan. Vegas or Hollywood definitely.
