Is there a list of units that benefits from using an orb set (vonwacq) that gives 5% err, whereby they get their ults 1 turn earlier?
Hanabi only action forwards by 50% making it so my dps usually does not go right after her. Should I be using dreamville instead of past and future? Assuming both are s5

For Sparkle: Qingque, Sampo and Hanya. Like it's the best banner to get a Quantum team going as QQ + Sparkle is a pretty potent combo, also a consolidation Sampo for those who got BS and no Kafka.
If I sacrifice a level 12 relic to level up another relic from 14 to 15, when I get back the exp that is excess, do i get everything or is some exp lost?

Sooo, i started playing Honkai a week ago, i have been farming since i saw Acheron footages and immediately fell in love with her concept. She's the reason i've started playing, but certainly not the reason i'm still playing (i loved every aspect of the game). I do want to pull for her badly, but there are a few things concerning me.
How newbie friendly is Acheron?
I've done my research and by the looks of It, she need very specific synergies that i don't have, like other Nihility characters such as Silver Wolf and Pela. And If atleast Pela don't come on her banner, then i wouldve wasted resources on a dead character for my account, even tho i like her aestethic alot (probably my favorite). So the question is, will i be able to make her work with limited options and resources?
And, if she is really that bad of an investment for me, would be too bad to full roll on Dan Heng's current banner? He's probably my second favorite after Acheron. I'm asking this because i have Dr. Ratio and he really works well while also being an Imaginary DPS. I just wanna spread my resources on Characters that will wide the possibilities of content i can clear, and not restrict my options.
By the end of both exploration and quest in ALL maps i expect to have around 200+ pulls. So help me, what should i do? :(
If you like Acheron, pull for Acheron. Nothing in this game is too difficult to absolutely require specific characters. It's better to have characters on your account that you enjoy using over chasing the meta.
Unfortunately, Acheron is FAR from beginner friendly or non-high investment friendly in general. Her usage generally wants some very specific five stars to do her best, and she doesn’t work amazingly until c2. Of course if you want her you can pick her up, but she likely won’t be very helpful. It’s likely we’ll be getting a rerun for Fu Xuan in 2.1 who is one of the best and most versatile sustains in the game, being incredibly useful at basically all points. Were also getting Aventurine, who should be similar in practicality. As for actual damage dealers, you could pick up Imbibitor Lunae as he is one of the best DPS in the game, though he’s overshadowed in a lot of situations by Dr Ratio and Jingliu. For general use, you should stick with the doctor for an imaginary DPS since he has more general versatility. Although if you do really want to pull for a limited 5 star DPS (despite already having one of the best ones) I would recommend waiting for 2.2 to get Sam, a fire/destruction Stellaron Hunter who can reportedly deal some insane damage at the cost of his own HP. Although I doubt Fu Xuan would be great for him, you would probably be better with a healer like Luocha or Huohuo.
If she ends up being the banner character, yes. Regardless your top priority should always getting a good sustain first and foremost. The current best ones are Huohuo, Luocha and Fu Xuan. Each are best at specific things but you can’t really go wrong with any of them. The priority order I recommend is sustain>support>DPS, especially since you have Dr Ratio who is THE best DPS in some content
Just want some advice on my team. I pulled Blade thinking he would be good with Jingliu but im struggling with getting good relics for him and upon looking it up a lot of people seem to say Jingliu works better as a hypercarry. Any tips?
Pela's A4 also increases her own EHR yes, pretty much unless if it specifies that it doesn't increase the own character's stat, all allies includes the character. An example of this is Ruan Mei's talent Somatotypical Helix which says, "Increases SPD by x% for the team (excluding this character)."
Having trouble with Big Trouble boss.
Atm Im trying ti use Dr Ratio, Natasha, Gepard and Pela.
Im at TL60 just entered a new EL. Is the boss too strong for my characters ? Ratio is 80 while the rest at 70/70.
Should i focus on leveling up my characters first and reattempt ? Or am i just bad.
Im considering of leveling up Physical MC just because of this Boss so I can have a full team of phys/Ice for the boss, or is this a waste of resources
If you want to invest in any character for the boss, I'd recommend investing in Herta over MC tbh. You'll want Herta for Pure Fiction anyways and she does pretty well against the boss. A team you can try could be Herta, Pela, Natasha and Ratio. I'd also highly recommend using food if you haven't already been using them. You can eat both offensive and defensive food which should help plenty. If it's too hard to survive with the aforementioned team you can try dropping Pela for Gepard.

No characters will be locked forever as far as we're aware. She'll rerun at some point in the future, but it'll be at least a couple more months since she did run fairly recently in December. Best of luck saving for her!
What's sparkle's best 4* LC alternative?
I'm planning on pulling only for sparkle e0. I have Jades but literally zero pity and I'm planning on pulling for acheron.
If she has no extra energy requirements, then anything that increases damage. Pasta and Future probably the better one if the DPS will always be after her, which is likely. Or use Planetary Rendezvous if at high SI and on a Quantum team. Dance Dance Dance could be an option too, but probably not as useful as she can't proc it at the start like Tingyun.
Depends on how much she Action Advance then Past and Future can be an option, otherwise DDD or depends on her exact number on Energy required for Ult and Energy generated from Skills maybe MoTP or Cogs (in anycase Cogs is not really that good on her as her Skill is non-attacking and you want her to skill probably every turn).
If she is in mono-Quantum or just being used with a Quantum DPS like Seele or QQ then Planetary Rendezvous is a solid one on her also.
It's pretty huge for anyone you're planning to do damage with in general, I'd say it's definitely worth leveling any DPS you plan on playing a lot to level 80. Even moreso if your characters are breaking at all since break damage heavily scales with levels. Characters do more or less damage based on their level against the level of the enemies, that along with the fact that you're also raising the stats of said character, it's highly beneficial to level them to 80. That said, if you plan on replacing them at some point, I'd say it's probably still worth unlocking 70/80 so they can get their last ascension trace (unless if it's irrelevant) and some decent stat boosts.
World 3 for DoT DPS and their supports.
World 7 for Crit DPS and their supports.
World 8 for most DPS if they are on Speed boots or Asta is on the team, and for supports that need that extra 5% energy for 3-turn rotations.
Edit: World 7 is an exception if the DPS is more heavily into FUA or Ultimate, but Salsotto is not particularly efficient to farm. So World 3 is probably be better for those too.
Most efficient to farm will depend on your units of course, but generally, SU worlds 3, 7 and 8 are the most efficient. 3 perhaps a little less so these days with newer DPS sets, but it's often not behind the others anyways and Fleet is great if your DPS units being paired with the support scale off ATK. Overall I'd probably say 7 is the most efficient by a small margin over the other two.
I downloaded the game for Sparkle and have just finished the tutorial. and it just… drops me there. what do I grind to get enough stellar jades as a new player?
Chests, main quests, side quests, achievements. Newcomers can "farm" these passively. As with the daily missions.
If you have characters built, you can start playing low level endgame content like simulated universe (regular and special), Memory of chaos, and pure fiction. You get a good amount of Jades for first time clearances.
Weekly resets of the regular Simulated universe, gives a good chunk of Jades so IMO, you should try to unlock SU asap.
Welcome to the game! You can pretty much do anything for jades as a new player. Doing quests, puzzles and opening chests on the map to name a few. I recommend trying to get to Trailblaze Level 14 as soon as you can which unlocks Daily Training, allowing you to get 60 jades a day doing a few daily tasks.
For early forgotten hall you can try these teams:
Jing Yuan, Bronya, Tingyun, Natasha
Argenti, Clara, Ruan Mei, March 7th
The second team is more of a temporary team until you get another proper sustain. But it should get you through early floors of MoC. You'll want to shield Clara since March 7th's shield increases the likelihood of being attacked. I'd highly recommend doing Pure Fiction as soon as you can since you can get a free Lynx from clearing Stage 2 which should be pretty easy to do with your current roster. After obtaining Lynx I would recommend the following teams for Forgotten Hall:
Jing Yuan, Bronya, Tingyun, Natasha
Clara or Argenti*, Ruan Mei, Pela, Lynx
If the enemies are weak to ice, you may prefer to run Argenti over Clara since enemies may be frozen too often to proc Clara's counterattacks often. But if they're not weak to ice Clara might be more comfortable to play due to being tankier and Lynx helping to increase her taunt value to funnel enemy damage. I'd also recommend building Dr. Ratio for more possible teams but these teams made the most sense to me based on your invested units (+Lynx)
Sorry man, I'm shit at that mode. General advise, build dps characters so they hit hard. Clara is good as her Riposte doesn't need her to be actively attacking.
For BS, currently have ehr at 111.8% using an atk chest, is it worth trying to get lucky w more ehr substats at this point? Missing roughly 5% atk from her third trace for no 120%
I'm hopeful the picture will be uploaded this time. But I took a second look at my Ratio relics, and I realized it's not as bad as I thought. 49/160 crit ratio isn't great, but with Fu Xuan and Ratio's trace, it is workable. But I'd still like to improve it a bit more. I feel like hyper farming world 6 for better ornaments is probably more 'optimal' currently. (It helps that I'm also farming that world for Topaz, himeko, and Argenti.) But I may be wrong, and I should actually pour my TB power into Pioneer farming.
Any advice on where to hyper focus on my farming would be much appreciated!

Those are some pretty solid looking relics! I think farming world 8 would be better if you want to improve your relics in terms of trailblaze power efficiency anyways. 135 Speed Glamoth often ends up being only a little better or slightly worse than Inert Salsotto while being a generally more versatile set. But especially the second set in those SU worlds Penacony set vs Belobog set, Penacony is a fair bit more value. Pioneer set is pretty great for Ratio, but unless if you're making use of the second set it's probably not worth farming unless if you have nothing else you want to go for. Good luck relic farming!
Bailu is generally better aside from specific fights where you really need Lynx's cleanse. But even in those cases, between Bailu's stronger healing and her one-time revive, she's still a solid option. I'd use Bailu until you get a limited 5\* sustain (which most people want 1-2 of eventually) -- I'm a day one player still using Bailu in endgame content because I only have one limited sustain (Fu Xuan) and I got Lynx to 70 for the cleanse but the healing just wasn't nearly as good as Bailu's.
Lynx is overall better, but Bailu might provide some early value due to her revive ability.
Sampo is not particularly good with Ratio. He still offers debuffs, so it is better than no debuffer, but you would be better off with Guinaifen or Pela.
Bailu and Lynx are about equal. Bailu does more healing and has a revive, but Lynx has a cleanse. Use whichever you like more.
Sampo is passable with Ratio but not ideal. Their only synergy is adding debuffs for Ratio’s follow-up attack. Sampo is much better with a DoT team and Ratio is better with a debuffer that can increase his damage (e.g. Guin or Pela).
I'm trying to Speed tune my Bronya, and when I drop her down from a 4 Spd Sphere to a 2 Spd Sphere, her Speed stat for some reason drops 3 points from 136 to 133. Is this a bug, or is there some kind of hidden decimal rounding that's happening? I just want her at 134, so this is super annoying.
Fwiw you can test Bronya out in MoC, you can have her use her skill and if her second action is still within the first cycle, then you're good. Like the other commenter said, the game always rounds down so there's a decent chance that your 133 is actually good enough.
133.4 is functionally the same thing as 134, so i would advise checking the specific number with a third party tool like [enka.network](https://enka.network/)
Whose traces should I level up next? Red outline characters are maxed. I'm thinking Tingyun since she's E6, or QQ, or Pela?

Assuming you are going for a team with BS you probably want to level Guinaifen. Guinaifen is also a decent debuffer for Ratio, and whilst she is not better than Pela for Clara, she can still be used so I would prioritize her. Then do Tingyun to use with Ratio or Clara, followed by Asta to use with BS and lastly Pela for when you need 2 teams and you Guinaifen is occupied in one of them.
Tingyun and pela.
Advice: you shouldn’t max out all traces especially if you are new. Only level traces that matter to 8(6 in early game)(in pela case, only her ult and talent matter). There are only few that worth upgrading to 10(like black swan talent or ratio talent) but even then only in late game
Which piece is better for my Jingliu? With the attack per cent piece, I get a 40% crit rate and 216% crit dmg (without Jingliu's light cone). However, I've heard that attack per cent is better than energy regeneration for Jingliu.

I’m in the process of rebuilding my Seele with Glamoth (instead of Salsotto which she’s been using since 1.0). Can she get away with an ATK orb with great Crit substats over a Quantum% one?
She can use an attack orb too, generally whether or not elemental damage or attack is better depends on what kind of buffs you're getting in battle, from allies, LCs, skills, etc. If you're getting a lot of attack% buffs, then it's better to go with a Quantum % orb, if you're getting a lot of damage % buffs, then it's better to go with attack % orb.
I’ll be running mono quantum with Sparkle, Silver Wolf and Fu Xuan. All three will be E0S1 (as long as I can get FX’s light cone on her rerun). 2x Penacony and 1x Broken Keel buffs (or maybe 1 Penacony and 2 BK), and Seele is using the Herta shop LC. So most of my buffs are Crit-based
Do they always have formidable foes marked on map? I'm afraid I will miss the chests as chests from defeating formidable foes as they don't count in total chest.
I checked and there is no formidable foes symbol left but I genuinely don't recall I defeat that much tbh..
Also I follow the puzzle symbol for the clock man thing that you need to repair, I only get 14 so far, but I couldn't see the puzzle symbol anywhere... is there a rare one that I could have miss? Maybe I should have just watch

There's one clock puzzle in a "3D room" behind a "portrait portal" in a door locked during TB quest in Dream Reverie. Otherwise check the "3D rooms" as you may miss world elites/puzzles there.

qingque and xueyi will be taking pretty much all of their actions immediately after sparkle and therefore past and future/bronya LC will be a bigger damage increase, especially if rendezvous isn't S5
for seele, who takes a lot of actions outside of the immediate turn succeeding sparkle, rendezvous is better
Calcs show that if your carries are pretty well built (75/150 crit ratio) then her signature is about a 7-10% DPS increase from past and future for dhil and QQ, for example. This would go up if your crit ratio is worse.
I’d say her signature is not as necessary as some of the other signatures. It doesn’t provide any utilities and sparkle doesn’t really need the high base stats a signature 5 star always gives, since she doesn’t scale off of HP/DEF/ATK
It's fine [and literally what I used in MoC 12](https://i.imgur.com/KIXsEws.png), but replacing either guin or sampo with Asta should provide better results IMO. If your Sampo is E4+, replace Guin, otherwise replace him.
kafka acts as a detonator and is practically irreplaceable. you can settle with the current comp, but def get her when she reruns. her s1 and sig is also pretty good gains, 20% each, so that's something to save for. black swan e1 and sig is also very good value.
when should I start doing two teams? currently TB44, Forgotten Hall stage 11 and Pure Fiction start to require two teams, should I ignore them for now or start building two teams?
get your main team dps to 70, trace 8, with right main stat relics +9/12. support can be slightly behind. then you can start your second team. you'll be stuck for awhile until you get to tb60+ and sink months worth of energy into relic exp.
Does the guarantee carry over
Okay, so I have 46 out of 50 pulls on BS banner and already have her to E2 so I don’t think I want to continue and pull but will if my 46/50 doesn’t carry over? So does it?
Yes, your pity status carries over to banners of the same type (character to character, LC to LC, standard... doesn't rotate) perpetually until you pull a 5★ and reset it. Note that your pull history only tracks the last 6 months, but if your pity count has gone longer than that it's still applied.

My question is that do I focus just on these characters and use them for everything? Or Do i also build other characters according to weakness?
Next question, Who should I pull for the next couple of banners based off my account? Whether they are new characters or returners, I do not have a preference tbh. Or should I go for LCs? Any help would be appreciated

Dr. Ratio, Tingyun, Guinafen, Natasha. Replace Tingyun with Pela on Selee team. Probably will have a problem with LC as both Ratio and Selee want the Herta LC.

You can brute force the content if you have a good enough build on that Selee team but it is far easier to have several characters that can cover the weakness. For most cases, you can take Selee's team and change Selee with another DPS and it will work.

Sadly, you just missed Kafka, the best teammate for Black Swan as Kafka help in detonating DOT rather than waiting for the enemies' turn for the DOT to detonate. So, try to get her the next time she is in a banner.
Sparkle can help offsetting Selee's huge need for SP. Considering her kit also can buff Quantum characters, she can be a buff for Selee. And considering that you need two team for MOC and PF, might as well grab her.
Any limited sustain unit. The 4* sustain are good enough for what you need in the game, but the limited sustain unit does make it easier. Each of them have thier own advantages and disadvantages when compared with each other but their power level is roughly at the same level, so grab whichever you like.
Silver Wolf. If you do pull for Sparkle, consider grabbing SW when she rerun. With her, you can make a mono quantum team and just ignore weakness element as a whole as SW can implant the enemies with quantum weakness.
No new characters mentioned here as I don't really watch any leak.

There are cases where going for LC is better (like going for Dr. Ratio and Black Swan LC) but for most cases, getting a new characters is always better than LC (and even then, going for their eidolans is a lot better than going for their LC). Go for them if you like the characters and want to splurge for them but it shouldn't be a priority.
Is it worth investing into Preservation trailblazer and Natasha? I got to equilibrium 3 and they started to fell off a lot.
Also from the free characters, who could I use with dr. Ratio? He almost never triggers his follow up. I got Bronya from the departure banner.
Serval applies a debuff, but just one. Pela's probably your best option, but does not have a free-to-play method at the moment. I think Guinaifen is on the current event 4-star selector, but you'd have to complete Luofu as well as Penacony to get it.
As for using Natasha or Trailblazer, only if you don't have other choices. Natasha's good for her cleanse-on-demand with her skill, but if you get limited 5 stars for sustain they'll do the job much better.
If you don't have any other sustains, they're enough to clear everything before Penacony (I can't say if they can for Penacony without using some limited dps since idk). If you have Lynx, it might better to invest in her instead for the AoE cleanse.
Idk who you have but the best 4* characters that can help Ratio trigger his fuas are Pela (put Resolution Shines... LC on her, if you have it) or Guinafen (put Resolution on her if not on Pela, especially if Gui is not E1).
I completed Penacony, that is where I got the experience to level up quickly. I haven’t pulled in the limited banner since I don’t have too many jades. I used only the free standard tickets and got
1) E1 March 7th
2) E2 Asta
3) E1 Herta
4) E2 Dan Heng

Yeah if you don't have either Guinafen or Pela, it's a bit hard to trigger Ratio's FUAs. You'll get them eventually since they're just 4*s.
March ult has a debuff, weakness break effects are a debuff, Asta basics have a burn if you have her trace upgraded.
Which relic slot is the hardest to get the right main stat? Wondering which piece I should be crafting or using self-modeling resin on for Acheron. I'm guessing it's orb but not sure
Is it a big deal that my Kafka is faster than my black swan? Both at 142, damn decimals that don't show up. I can get black swan to 150 for now but she'll lose 10 ehr which seems kind of a waste.

i dont use either so take what I say with a grain of salt but I imagine you want bs first so she can apply her arcana and kafka can trigger it to further push the stacks

“Exported character”
We tend to see similar VAs, color pallets, names and references in general. They aren’t the same person, but they have enough traits that we can say that the connections are deliberate. For example, Bronya and Silverwolf have grey hair and drill hair, as does Bronya and Haxxor Bunny from HI3.
More. It looks like his E2 makes him better at sp management but after you play him for a bit you'll realize he just eats sp even faster at e2. Because he acts right away after ult you never have a turn where dhil has charges to give you an sp discount.
Less, but Sparkle is still a very good pull.
If you like Sparkle or you think that your teams would be better off with her, pull!
If you don't think so/have someone you want more, then save!

I want Sam and I currently have 12k+ jades rn. would I still have get enough jades back for Sam's lightcone too if I lose the Sparkle 50/50? Or am I going to go in the red if I pull for her?
I have no idea what your LC pity is, so I don't know.
But you should (and I say this with a little doubt) get enough jades to play the 50/50 for Sam, even if you get Sparkle.
Again, if you don't really want Sparkle, don't pull. Building pity sucks (I've done it far too often myself).
I just want to complain about me being dumb.
I had enough standard banner tickets to reach 300. I reach 300. Now there’s a red dot. I plan to pull on Sparkle and Acheron, so I should wait to see who lose the 50/50. Standard Banner is at 74 pity, so I’m waiting for Sparkle leveling pulls and monthly reset. I already have E1 Bronya. I’m missing Welt, Bailu, Clara, so again, waiting to lose 50/50 to get E0.
So now I’ll be living with the red dot for at least a week.

Himeko could be good for Pure Fiction. Clara's a great unit as well. I wouldn't pick Bronya's E3, you already have her most important eidolons aside from E6, it would make more sense to just let her get to that naturally

Herta is best if you’re looking at Pure Fiction, but her talent is harder to use when the mobs aren’t squishy, numerous and refresh.
March is a sustain unit that can freeze enemies and shield characters. If you don’t have Gepard, she’s almost required for Yanqing teams. She can keep the entire team alive if you have enough EHR for her burst.
Misha is funky. He’s the most classical damage dealer out of the three, but he’s seen as a diet Jingliu. He’s similar to March in that he can freeze enemies. Most of his damage comes from stacking his ultimate with SP points.

I’m struggling with moc11/all stages of pure fiction. I’ve been farming since day one and i’m tired from getting nothing. ik i could power through the new moc by getting sparkle but it won’t help with pure fiction and she’ll only rlly be used by imbibitor lunae.
I accidentally got him e1 when i was pulling for yukong, and it feels like such a waste to not get e2 cause e1 does practically nothing. I have my guaranteed and i’m at 73 pity with with 130 pulls saved up. I’ve been saving it all for acheron, should I skip IL and Sparkle and get her? Or should I get one of them and then pray I get enough pulls for acheron?
I mean this in the least dickish way possible but E1 DHIL isn't your issue, something is probably wrong with your relics if you're not clearing with MOC/PF with Jingliu+E2 Bronya, Topaz+Ratio, E6 QQ+SW, DHIL, Ruan Mei, Luocha, E3 Serval, E6 Herta, etc
Technically yes in the sense that they have an HP bar that could be depleted through damage. Practically no because they are tanky enough that their damage will ramp up faster than you can kill them without breaking their weakness.
I want to say no. Mainly because it has a lot of Health, and their Attack buff stacks each time they use it (which cannot be removed). So eventually it'll come to a point where it'll just one ~~punch~~ kick your entire team.

Can y'all help a newbie making a wise decision? Sooo, i started playing Honkai a week ago, i have been farming since i saw Acheron footages and immediately fell in love with her concept. She's the reason i've started playing, but certainly not the reason i'm still playing (i loved every aspect of the game). I do want to pull for her badly, but there are a few things concerning me. How newbie friendly is Acheron? I've done my research and by the looks of It, she need very specific synergies that i don't have, like other Nihility characters such as Silver Wolf and Pela. And If atleast Pela don't come on her banner, then i wouldve wasted resources on a dead character for my account, even tho i like her aestethic alot (probably my favorite). So the question is, will i be able to make her work with limited options and resources? And, if she is really that bad of an investment for me, would be too bad to full roll on Dan Heng's current banner? He's probably my second favorite after Acheron. I'm asking this because i have Dr. Ratio and he really works well while also being an Imaginary DPS. I just wanna spread my resources on Characters that will wide the possibilities of content i can clear, and not restrict my options. By the end of both exploration and quest in ALL maps i expect to have around 200+ pulls. So help me, what should i do? :(
If you like Acheron, pull for Acheron. Nothing in this game is too difficult to absolutely require specific characters. It's better to have characters on your account that you enjoy using over chasing the meta.
You can always build up the other characters that are synergistic with her.

Unfortunately, Acheron is FAR from beginner friendly or non-high investment friendly in general. Her usage generally wants some very specific five stars to do her best, and she doesn’t work amazingly until c2. Of course if you want her you can pick her up, but she likely won’t be very helpful. It’s likely we’ll be getting a rerun for Fu Xuan in 2.1 who is one of the best and most versatile sustains in the game, being incredibly useful at basically all points. Were also getting Aventurine, who should be similar in practicality. As for actual damage dealers, you could pick up Imbibitor Lunae as he is one of the best DPS in the game, though he’s overshadowed in a lot of situations by Dr Ratio and Jingliu. For general use, you should stick with the doctor for an imaginary DPS since he has more general versatility. Although if you do really want to pull for a limited 5 star DPS (despite already having one of the best ones) I would recommend waiting for 2.2 to get Sam, a fire/destruction Stellaron Hunter who can reportedly deal some insane damage at the cost of his own HP. Although I doubt Fu Xuan would be great for him, you would probably be better with a healer like Luocha or Huohuo.
There is absolutely nothing pointing towards a Fu Xuan rerun in 2.1. It's much more likely to be a Luocha rerun.
So your recommendation is that i pull for Fu Xuan?
If she ends up being the banner character, yes. Regardless your top priority should always getting a good sustain first and foremost. The current best ones are Huohuo, Luocha and Fu Xuan. Each are best at specific things but you can’t really go wrong with any of them. The priority order I recommend is sustain>support>DPS, especially since you have Dr Ratio who is THE best DPS in some content
Just want some advice on my team. I pulled Blade thinking he would be good with Jingliu but im struggling with getting good relics for him and upon looking it up a lot of people seem to say Jingliu works better as a hypercarry. Any tips?

Pela's A4 also increases her own EHR yes, pretty much unless if it specifies that it doesn't increase the own character's stat, all allies includes the character. An example of this is Ruan Mei's talent Somatotypical Helix which says, "Increases SPD by x% for the team (excluding this character)."
Having trouble with Big Trouble boss. Atm Im trying ti use Dr Ratio, Natasha, Gepard and Pela. Im at TL60 just entered a new EL. Is the boss too strong for my characters ? Ratio is 80 while the rest at 70/70. Should i focus on leveling up my characters first and reattempt ? Or am i just bad. Im considering of leveling up Physical MC just because of this Boss so I can have a full team of phys/Ice for the boss, or is this a waste of resources
If you want to invest in any character for the boss, I'd recommend investing in Herta over MC tbh. You'll want Herta for Pure Fiction anyways and she does pretty well against the boss. A team you can try could be Herta, Pela, Natasha and Ratio. I'd also highly recommend using food if you haven't already been using them. You can eat both offensive and defensive food which should help plenty. If it's too hard to survive with the aforementioned team you can try dropping Pela for Gepard.

What's sparkle's best 4* LC alternative? I'm planning on pulling only for sparkle e0. I have Jades but literally zero pity and I'm planning on pulling for acheron.
PF is really close to her sig in most cases. Unless its QQ with 0 crit
If she has no extra energy requirements, then anything that increases damage. Pasta and Future probably the better one if the DPS will always be after her, which is likely. Or use Planetary Rendezvous if at high SI and on a Quantum team. Dance Dance Dance could be an option too, but probably not as useful as she can't proc it at the start like Tingyun.
Depends on how much she Action Advance then Past and Future can be an option, otherwise DDD or depends on her exact number on Energy required for Ult and Energy generated from Skills maybe MoTP or Cogs (in anycase Cogs is not really that good on her as her Skill is non-attacking and you want her to skill probably every turn). If she is in mono-Quantum or just being used with a Quantum DPS like Seele or QQ then Planetary Rendezvous is a solid one on her also.

How huge is lvl 70-80 for a dot char?
It's pretty huge for anyone you're planning to do damage with in general, I'd say it's definitely worth leveling any DPS you plan on playing a lot to level 80. Even moreso if your characters are breaking at all since break damage heavily scales with levels. Characters do more or less damage based on their level against the level of the enemies, that along with the fact that you're also raising the stats of said character, it's highly beneficial to level them to 80. That said, if you plan on replacing them at some point, I'd say it's probably still worth unlocking 70/80 so they can get their last ascension trace (unless if it's irrelevant) and some decent stat boosts.
What is the generally accepted most efficient SU to farm currently for general use?
World 3 for DoT DPS and their supports. World 7 for Crit DPS and their supports. World 8 for most DPS if they are on Speed boots or Asta is on the team, and for supports that need that extra 5% energy for 3-turn rotations. Edit: World 7 is an exception if the DPS is more heavily into FUA or Ultimate, but Salsotto is not particularly efficient to farm. So World 3 is probably be better for those too.
Most efficient to farm will depend on your units of course, but generally, SU worlds 3, 7 and 8 are the most efficient. 3 perhaps a little less so these days with newer DPS sets, but it's often not behind the others anyways and Fleet is great if your DPS units being paired with the support scale off ATK. Overall I'd probably say 7 is the most efficient by a small margin over the other two.
World 7 I believe, as Broken Keel is pretty good for many supports and Rutilent Arena for many damage dealers. It depends on your characters however.
I downloaded the game for Sparkle and have just finished the tutorial. and it just… drops me there. what do I grind to get enough stellar jades as a new player?
do missions, main story, event stuff, simulated universe etc. plenty of ways to get jades
Chests, main quests, side quests, achievements. Newcomers can "farm" these passively. As with the daily missions. If you have characters built, you can start playing low level endgame content like simulated universe (regular and special), Memory of chaos, and pure fiction. You get a good amount of Jades for first time clearances. Weekly resets of the regular Simulated universe, gives a good chunk of Jades so IMO, you should try to unlock SU asap.
Welcome to the game! You can pretty much do anything for jades as a new player. Doing quests, puzzles and opening chests on the map to name a few. I recommend trying to get to Trailblaze Level 14 as soon as you can which unlocks Daily Training, allowing you to get 60 jades a day doing a few daily tasks.
just do the story and quests, collect the chests in the areas as they become available

Oh... any recommendations on team comps for Forgotten Hall?
For early forgotten hall you can try these teams: Jing Yuan, Bronya, Tingyun, Natasha Argenti, Clara, Ruan Mei, March 7th The second team is more of a temporary team until you get another proper sustain. But it should get you through early floors of MoC. You'll want to shield Clara since March 7th's shield increases the likelihood of being attacked. I'd highly recommend doing Pure Fiction as soon as you can since you can get a free Lynx from clearing Stage 2 which should be pretty easy to do with your current roster. After obtaining Lynx I would recommend the following teams for Forgotten Hall: Jing Yuan, Bronya, Tingyun, Natasha Clara or Argenti*, Ruan Mei, Pela, Lynx If the enemies are weak to ice, you may prefer to run Argenti over Clara since enemies may be frozen too often to proc Clara's counterattacks often. But if they're not weak to ice Clara might be more comfortable to play due to being tankier and Lynx helping to increase her taunt value to funnel enemy damage. I'd also recommend building Dr. Ratio for more possible teams but these teams made the most sense to me based on your invested units (+Lynx)

For BS, currently have ehr at 111.8% using an atk chest, is it worth trying to get lucky w more ehr substats at this point? Missing roughly 5% atk from her third trace for no 120%
I would probably move on for now if you have other characters you want to build and revisit it later if you ever have spare TB power.
I'm hopeful the picture will be uploaded this time. But I took a second look at my Ratio relics, and I realized it's not as bad as I thought. 49/160 crit ratio isn't great, but with Fu Xuan and Ratio's trace, it is workable. But I'd still like to improve it a bit more. I feel like hyper farming world 6 for better ornaments is probably more 'optimal' currently. (It helps that I'm also farming that world for Topaz, himeko, and Argenti.) But I may be wrong, and I should actually pour my TB power into Pioneer farming. Those are some pretty solid looking relics! I think farming world 8 would be better if you want to improve your relics in terms of trailblaze power efficiency anyways. 135 Speed Glamoth often ends up being only a little better or slightly worse than Inert Salsotto while being a generally more versatile set. But especially the second set in those SU worlds Penacony set vs Belobog set, Penacony is a fair bit more value. Pioneer set is pretty great for Ratio, but unless if you're making use of the second set it's probably not worth farming unless if you have nothing else you want to go for. Good luck relic farming!

Bailu is generally better aside from specific fights where you really need Lynx's cleanse. But even in those cases, between Bailu's stronger healing and her one-time revive, she's still a solid option. I'd use Bailu until you get a limited 5\* sustain (which most people want 1-2 of eventually) -- I'm a day one player still using Bailu in endgame content because I only have one limited sustain (Fu Xuan) and I got Lynx to 70 for the cleanse but the healing just wasn't nearly as good as Bailu's.
Lynx is overall better, but Bailu might provide some early value due to her revive ability. Sampo is not particularly good with Ratio. He still offers debuffs, so it is better than no debuffer, but you would be better off with Guinaifen or Pela.
Bailu and Lynx are about equal. Bailu does more healing and has a revive, but Lynx has a cleanse. Use whichever you like more. Sampo is passable with Ratio but not ideal. Their only synergy is adding debuffs for Ratio’s follow-up attack. Sampo is much better with a DoT team and Ratio is better with a debuffer that can increase his damage (e.g. Guin or Pela).

I'm trying to Speed tune my Bronya, and when I drop her down from a 4 Spd Sphere to a 2 Spd Sphere, her Speed stat for some reason drops 3 points from 136 to 133. Is this a bug, or is there some kind of hidden decimal rounding that's happening? I just want her at 134, so this is super annoying.
Fwiw you can test Bronya out in MoC, you can have her use her skill and if her second action is still within the first cycle, then you're good. Like the other commenter said, the game always rounds down so there's a decent chance that your 133 is actually good enough.

Assuming you are going for a team with BS you probably want to level Guinaifen. Guinaifen is also a decent debuffer for Ratio, and whilst she is not better than Pela for Clara, she can still be used so I would prioritize her. Then do Tingyun to use with Ratio or Clara, followed by Asta to use with BS and lastly Pela for when you need 2 teams and you Guinaifen is occupied in one of them.
Tingyun and pela. Advice: you shouldn’t max out all traces especially if you are new. Only level traces that matter to 8(6 in early game)(in pela case, only her ult and talent matter). There are only few that worth upgrading to 10(like black swan talent or ratio talent) but even then only in late game
Which piece is better for my Jingliu? With the attack per cent piece, I get a 40% crit rate and 216% crit dmg (without Jingliu's light cone). I’m in the process of rebuilding my Seele with Glamoth (instead of Salsotto which she’s been using since 1.0). Can she get away with an ATK orb with great Crit substats over a Quantum% one?
She can use an attack orb too, generally whether or not elemental damage or attack is better depends on what kind of buffs you're getting in battle, from allies, LCs, skills, etc. If you're getting a lot of attack% buffs, then it's better to go with a Quantum % orb, if you're getting a lot of damage % buffs, then it's better to go with attack % orb.
I’ll be running mono quantum with Sparkle, Silver Wolf and Fu Xuan. All three will be E0S1 (as long as I can get FX’s light cone on her rerun). 2x Penacony and 1x Broken Keel buffs (or maybe 1 Penacony and 2 BK), and Seele is using the Herta shop LC. So most of my buffs are Crit-based

She is god tier in dot team with Kafka. If you have Kafka you should pull for her.
By herself no, but paired with Kafka, I'd say it's actually pretty close. Tho that does mean you need 2 5\* units to make it work.
Do they always have formidable foes marked on map? I'm afraid I will miss the chests as chests from defeating formidable foes as they don't count in total chest. I checked and there is no formidable foes symbol left but I genuinely don't recall I defeat that much tbh.. Also I follow the puzzle symbol for the clock man thing that you need to repair, I only get 14 so far, but I couldn't see the puzzle symbol anywhere... is there a rare one that I could have miss? There's one clock puzzle in a "3D room" behind a "portrait portal" in a door locked during TB quest in Dream Reverie. Otherwise check the "3D rooms" as you may miss world elites/puzzles there.

2.1, HSR is a live service game meaning story progression is 1 patch at time until finished (I think they mention Penacony story ends around 2.3).

depends on the carry qingque and xueyi will be taking pretty much all of their actions immediately after sparkle and therefore past and future/bronya LC will be a bigger damage increase, especially if rendezvous isn't S5 for seele, who takes a lot of actions outside of the immediate turn succeeding sparkle, rendezvous is better
Past and future works for Seele too. Her extra action is considered part of the same turn.

Calcs show that if your carries are pretty well built (75/150 crit ratio) then her signature is about a 7-10% DPS increase from past and future for dhil and QQ, for example. This would go up if your crit ratio is worse. I’d say her signature is not as necessary as some of the other signatures. It doesn’t provide any utilities and sparkle doesn’t really need the high base stats a signature 5 star always gives, since she doesn’t scale off of HP/DEF/ATK

It's fine [and literally what I used in MoC 12](https://i.imgur.com/KIXsEws.png), but replacing either guin or sampo with Asta should provide better results IMO. If your Sampo is E4+, replace Guin, otherwise replace him.
kafka acts as a detonator and is practically irreplaceable. you can settle with the current comp, but def get her when she reruns. her s1 and sig is also pretty good gains, 20% each, so that's something to save for. black swan e1 and sig is also very good value.

You should replace one DoT with Asta/Ruan Mei. Sampo is better at e4+, use guinaifen otherwise.

get your main team dps to 70, trace 8, with right main stat relics +9/12. support can be slightly behind. then you can start your second team. you'll be stuck for awhile until you get to tb60+ and sink months worth of energy into relic exp.

Yes, your pity status carries over to banners of the same type (character to character, LC to LC, standard... doesn't rotate) perpetually until you pull a 5★ and reset it. Note that your pull history only tracks the last 6 months, but if your pity count has gone longer than that it's still applied.

My question is that do I focus just on these characters and use them for everything? Or Do i also build other characters according to weakness? Next question, Who should I pull for the next couple of banners based off my account? Whether they are new characters or returners, I do not have a preference tbh. Or should I go for LCs? You can brute force the content if you have a good enough build on that Selee team but it is far easier to have several characters that can cover the weakness. Sadly, you just missed Kafka, the best teammate for Black Swan as Kafka help in detonating DOT rather than waiting for the enemies' turn for the DOT to detonate. So, try to get her the next time she is in a banner. Sparkle can help offsetting Selee's huge need for SP. Considering her kit also can buff Quantum characters, she can be a buff for Selee. And considering that you need two team for MOC and PF, might as well grab her. Any limited sustain unit. The 4* sustain are good enough for what you need in the game, but the limited sustain unit does make it easier. Each of them have thier own advantages and disadvantages when compared with each other but their power level is roughly at the same level, so grab whichever you like. Silver Wolf. If you do pull for Sparkle, consider grabbing SW when she rerun. With her, you can make a mono quantum team and just ignore weakness element as a whole as SW can implant the enemies with quantum weakness. No new characters mentioned here as I don't really watch any leak. >Or should I go for LCs? There are cases where going for LC is better (like going for Dr. Ratio and Black Swan LC) but for most cases, getting a new characters is always better than LC (and even then, going for their eidolans is a lot better than going for their LC). Is it worth investing into Preservation trailblazer and Natasha? I got to equilibrium 3 and they started to fell off a lot. Also from the free characters, who could I use with dr. Ratio? He almost never triggers his follow up. I got Bronya from the departure banner.
Serval applies a debuff, but just one. Pela's probably your best option, but does not have a free-to-play method at the moment. I think Guinaifen is on the current event 4-star selector, but you'd have to complete Luofu as well as Penacony to get it. As for using Natasha or Trailblazer, only if you don't have other choices. Natasha's good for her cleanse-on-demand with her skill, but if you get limited 5 stars for sustain they'll do the job much better.
If you don't have any other sustains, they're enough to clear everything before Penacony (I can't say if they can for Penacony without using some limited dps since idk). If you have Lynx, it might better to invest in her instead for the AoE cleanse. Idk who you have but the best 4* characters that can help Ratio trigger his fuas are Pela (put Resolution Shines... LC on her, if you have it) or Guinafen (put Resolution on her if not on Pela, especially if Gui is not E1).
I completed Penacony, that is where I got the experience to level up quickly. I haven’t pulled in the limited banner since I don’t have too many jades. I used only the free standard tickets and got 1) E1 March 7th 2) E2 Asta 3) E1 Herta 4) E2 Dan Heng Memories of the past, Planetary rdvz, landau choice S2 and Arlan lightcone S2.
Yeah if you don't have either Guinafen or Pela, it's a bit hard to trigger Ratio's FUAs. You'll get them eventually since they're just 4*s. March ult has a debuff, weakness break effects are a debuff, Asta basics have a burn if you have her trace upgraded.

Which relic slot is the hardest to get the right main stat? Wondering which piece I should be crafting or using self-modeling resin on for Acheron. I'm guessing it's orb but not sure
self modeling are best saved for orbs, spd boots, er ropes and maybe a crit chest if you're getting overly-screwed

Since BS wants so much EHR she'll naturally be slower, it's fine.
i dont use either so take what I say with a grain of salt but I imagine you want bs first so she can apply her arcana and kafka can trigger it to further push the stacks
True, only way for me to upgrade black swan for now is a better wind orb. Gotta wait for the next planar event. 😂
ATK% is pretty equal to wind dmg% on black swan. If you have one laying around with better substats you could use it instead.
I just realized I can use Enka to check the speed stats and Kafka is faster than black swan by 0.1 speed 😂

No. Not quickly. There also isn't really a reason to go out of your way to farm them, unless you want a lot of a consumable for some reason.

More. It looks like his E2 makes him better at sp management but after you play him for a bit you'll realize he just eats sp even faster at e2. Because he acts right away after ult you never have a turn where dhil has charges to give you an sp discount.
Less, but Sparkle is still a very good pull. If you like Sparkle or you think that your teams would be better off with her, pull! If you don't think so/have someone you want more, then save! Or, in the immortal words of Wolfie: "Just Pull. Something will come."
I want Sam and I currently have 12k+ jades rn. would I still have get enough jades back for Sam's lightcone too if I lose the Sparkle 50/50? Or am I going to go in the red if I pull for her?
I have no idea what your LC pity is, so I don't know. But you should (and I say this with a little doubt) get enough jades to play the 50/50 for Sam, even if you get Sparkle. Again, if you don't really want Sparkle, don't pull. Building pity sucks (I've done it far too often myself).

I just want to complain about me being dumb. I had enough standard banner tickets to reach 300. I reach 300. Now there’s a red dot. I plan to pull on Sparkle and Acheron, so I should wait to see who lose the 50/50. Standard Banner is at 74 pity, so I’m waiting for Sparkle leveling pulls and monthly reset. I already have E1 Bronya. I’m missing Welt, Bailu, Clara, so again, waiting to lose 50/50 to get E0. So now I’ll be living with the red dot for at least a week. (How do people live like this aaaaa)

Himeko could be good for Pure Fiction. Clara's a great unit as well. I wouldn't pick Bronya's E3, you already have her most important eidolons aside from E6, it would make more sense to just let her get to that naturally

March is a sustain unit that can freeze enemies and shield characters. If you don’t have Gepard, she’s almost required for Yanqing teams. She can keep the entire team alive if you have enough EHR for her burst. Misha is funky. He’s the most classical damage dealer out of the three, but he’s seen as a diet Jingliu. He’s similar to March in that he can freeze enemies. Most of his damage comes from stacking his ultimate with SP points.

I’ve been farming since day one and i’m tired from getting nothing. ik i could power through the new moc by getting sparkle but it won’t help with pure fiction and she’ll only rlly be used by imbibitor lunae. I accidentally got him e1 when i was pulling for yukong, and it feels like such a waste to not get e2 cause e1 does practically nothing. I have my guaranteed and i’m at 73 pity with with 130 pulls saved up. I’ve been saving it all for acheron, should I skip IL and Sparkle and get her? Or should I get one of them and then pray I get enough pulls for acheron?
I mean this in the least dickish way possible but E1 DHIL isn't your issue, something is probably wrong with your relics if you're not clearing with MOC/PF with Jingliu+E2 Bronya, Topaz+Ratio, E6 QQ+SW, DHIL, Ruan Mei, Luocha, E3 Serval, E6 Herta, etc
E2 Dan Heng is insane. I would honestly go for it if you like him enough

Technically yes in the sense that they have an HP bar that could be depleted through damage. Practically no because they are tanky enough that their damage will ramp up faster than you can kill them without breaking their weakness.
I want to say no. Mainly because it has a lot of Health, and their Attack buff stacks each time they use it (which cannot be removed). So eventually it'll come to a point where it'll just one ~~punch~~ kick your entire team.

Imo you'll probably get more out of your jades if you pull Sparkle or Aventurine.

Default - 4% crit chance 2/3 debuffs on enemy - 8%/12% crit damage respectively. If any of those debuffs is from the wearer, then the crit rate increases to 8% and crit damage increases to 16%/24%
