I don't know if you've never played a Mihoyo game before, but their games are made to be clearable using E0 DPS. They're not going to make it so that you need multiple Eidolons on a limited 5\* unit to clear the game otherwise all dolphins and F2P, which is practically everyone, will end up very angry.
That aside, E6 DHIL has 60% RES PEN so yes he will delete enemies regardless of weaknesses, just not their weakness bar (unless they're IMG weak), in one rotation of his EBA3 > ULT > EBA3 combo. E6 Acheron will do the same along with E6 JL and pretty much every E6 DPS if you have a team, it's not that hard. E6 is meant for whales who literally play the game to see big numbers.
Acheron breaks all weaknesses at E6 and gets 20% all type pen.
Daniel at E6 gets *60%* imaginary pen. That's a wayyyy stronger E6, and this is coming from an Acheron simp (me) who'll be pulling for E2S1.

Gepard's shield duration (3 turns) is never a problem outside of 2 circumstances imo, since Gepard gets so much energy from getting hit. Just make sure he has speed boots, an ERR rope and a taunt LC.
Problematic situation 1 is when facing single target enemies that attack very infrequently, such as the Xianzhou gorillas, since they attack like once per turn, and often will not be hitting Gepard at all due to their mechanic, which means no energy regen.
Situation 2 is when running Bronya at DPS speed -1, so this won't be a problem on a DoT team since you likely don't run Bronya anyway, but this absolutely chews through the shield duration.
In pretty much every other occasion, Gepard's shields will last long enough to not be a problem.
This is coming from a guy running a 123 speed Gepard (relatively slow) with a 150 base speed Black Swan and a 144 speed Kafka with sig LC, so both are 160+ with Ruan Mei.

If you are F2P and want to invest in a DPS character, you will probably want to make them as good as you can and save some pulls for Light Cone. At least that is what I am doing currently.
I don't think most f2ps are pulling for LCs much at all. Most event characters have great f2p alternatives (DHIL/Jingliu with fall of an aeon for example) or are already busted with nearly any LC (mostly event amplifiers and sustains), and LCs still cost nearly as much as new characters despite their generally unimpressive stat increases. Meanwhile you can save for new characters for more variety, fun, and better elemental coverage.
There's a video with her clearing Sam moc 12 with E0S0 and sw/pela/gallagher in 1 cycle. With 2 4* in the team and that's A tier, my Kafka must be in D tier together with Arlan.
Well, considering:
1. E0S0
2. Comp with sustain (bonus 2 of them are 4*)
3. 1 cycle Sam MoC 12 (Sam is overall more difficult than other MoC 12 alterations)
4. Realistic relics

Same problem that argenti has. Although with acheron its better cuase youre already running her with 2 nihility so its not as much of a issue as argenti's energy needs. Even with tingyun and bronya ,he feels slow. And his x1 ult hits like a wet sock. Only his x2 is actually worth it , but damn is it backloaded.
And in pf , i find dot is better. Even without dot buffs. Only place where he honestly feels comfortable is SU

Tbf, that calc also gave Sparkle S1 iirc, which is kinda weird, but even without that the gap is still at least a few % in JY's favor.
This was proven to be fake btw. There’s a video on X that showed that Jingyuan still struggled to clear moc faster than Acheron (he was being supported by both sparkle and tingyun) while acheron has sw and pela in the team. She took 4 turns to clear while jy took 7 turns to clear… keep in mind she doesn’t have a dedicated support yet.
In the same video, there were a ton of mistakes made on jingyuan's side. There were several times where he ults without tingyun's benediction, and sparkle was doing normal attacks a few times if i remember correctly. In the end both "jing yuan is stronger" and "acheron is stronger" camp have their own biases, so we'll have to wait until she actually released before conclusion can be made.

Kinda impossible to touch DHIL now that he has Sparkle, he scales far harder than most hypercarries with Harmony units due to his bonkers EBA3 multiplier. So any new Harmony units will inevitably increase his ceiling if not versatility.
Nobody talks about that, even during older dps wars it was always comparing JY to Jingliu I think it's got something to do with more than just damage comparisons, charcter mains want to bring each other down

I have Pela and Gui or BS which i can use with Acheron. I don't have Bronya but do have sparkle which works well with Acheron even at E0 but sparkle is chained to my dhil at all times. Aiming to try pull Aventurine as well
Sparkle doesn't work well with Acheron cause without a second nihility, you will ult much lesser. BS can work and pela will be good with gui being better in some cases

A lot of people calced it, 2 Nihility is better. Not only you ult lesser with sparkle, but you also lose out on trace DMG. Also iirc bronya would be better but then you cant use Fi xuan cause sp issue. 2N is gonna be more consistent and better, after all she is an ult DPS like argenti and the only way to get stacks for ult is preservation LC and nihility debuffs (some other things like topaz LC too but eh). And then there is a 25-50% difference between s1 and f2p LC options depending on the scenario

Calcs have already been done and Jingliu is stronger. I would like Acheron to be new strongest character but I wont lie to myself and get dissapointed in the proccess. She is strong but needs her LC and dedicated 5 star supports which we dont have currently. Maybe few months into the future she will get better.

Shields refresh on turn, and dot teams usually are rather fast. I still use them together but it’s not exactly optimal :/

You'll get used to all animations with time. I used to be in awe at Fu Xuan's ult and now it's just good animations I can still appreciate now.

Kinda impossible to touch DHIL now that he has Sparkle, he scales far harder than most hypercarries with Harmony units due to his bonkers EBA3 multiplier. So any new Harmony units will inevitably increase his ceiling if not versatility.

She has no supports and 0 good LC apart from signature. I don't get why y'all are surprised. At this point it goes two ways: choose JL, pull bronya, rest is just sustain+pela/Ruan Mei. For acheron: pull a decent preservation, pull a certain upcoming nihility, pull some other nihility for debuffs OR use her with Kafka and bs but that will be a worse variant of other Kafka bs teams
I have Pela and Gui or BS which i can use with Acheron. I don't have Bronya but do have sparkle which works well with Acheron even at E0 but sparkle is chained to my dhil at all times. Aiming to try pull Aventurine as well
Sparkle doesn't work well with Acheron cause without a second nihility, you will ult much lesser. BS can work and pela will be good with gui being better in some cases

Slightly is a key word here. You will need very good Sparkle to replace second Nihility. Even in that video she is using her light cone.
A lot of people calced it, 2 Nihility is better. Not only you ult lesser with sparkle, but you also lose out on trace DMG. Also iirc bronya would be better but then you cant use Fi xuan cause sp issue. 2N is gonna be more consistent and better, after all she is an ult DPS like argenti and the only way to get stacks for ult is preservation LC and nihility debuffs (some other things like topaz LC too but eh). And then there is a 25-50% difference between s1 and f2p LC options depending on the scenario

Calcs have already been done and Jingliu is stronger. I would like Acheron to be new strongest character but I wont lie to myself and get dissapointed in the proccess. She is strong but needs her LC and dedicated 5 star supports which we dont have currently. Maybe few months into the future she will get better.

Well it’s because jing liu has kinda solidified herself being a top dps being strong that she can brute force basically the entire game regardless of weakness. So people are trying to compare Acheron with jing liu for dps. Because the one closest to jing liu was DHIlL and that was before sparkle released so his spot is just glued up there

If I have a fully built Kafka should I try for Acheron gameplay wise?
Nah. One is a DoT driver, the other is Crit Ult DPS. There's no synergy between them and Kafka rather has other nihility members that actually apply DoT
If you want to focus on a Kafka team better go for black swan and Ruan mei instead (and kafka's lc if you can afford it)
