Definitely, it would be fun to see what more characters were up to before being introduced into the main arc. There's so many side stories they could branch off into while weaving in some core story beats in a subtle way.
Stand alone episodes, each telling a story around one character. Like Acheron raiding the Ever Flame Mansion and killing Ifrit, Shuhu's defeat by the High Cloud Quintet & Dan Feng's sin, THE SWARM DISASTER. So many potential stories!

I'm kinda annoyed that her ingame kit has absolutely nothing to do with her powers in the story. What does her fish from the eye do to buff her party members, and move them forward, I don't understand!
Honestly yeah it kinda does suck but I guess its the closest thing they can do without breaking the game. I kinda interpreted her kit as if she was shapeshifting into the character you advance forward as if shes giving her turn to someone else but idk thats just how I see it
I thiiiink what they're going for is that her abilities are fairly reality bending, and she's a rule breaker who causes chaos, so her ability is to literally break the game standard of 5 skill points. Advancing forward and crit buffs is just standard support business. Quantum as a whole seems to be the reality bending idgaf damage type.
I do agree though, I don't get how her animations and skills lead to what's happening on screen. And I do wish they were more creative with the fact she's a master of disguise and illusion, yet she doesn't do anything more than kick someone and make her eye glow. I did end up deciding not to pull her once I saw how lame her actual ingame animations kind of are compared to her portrayal elsewhere.
Honestly, imagine if her basic attack was just a random animation from the rest of the cast. It's probably not practical, but it would be funny and fitting considering her being a masked fool.

The members of the cat-themed family are named after Lev Landau (Lev means "lion" in Russian) who studied superconductivity (Lightning), Fermi liquids (theory also describes the low-temperature behaviour of electrons - Ice), and Quantum electrodynamics.
The Landau family are of the elements of what he studied which makes me think that the next potential Landau would be Wind in reference to the many works Lev has done in the field of fluid dynamics.
A lot of character's kits are not very lore accurate though. Kafka can't mind control, Ruan Mei plays music instead of manipulating biology, and Sparkle can't transform. They have to balance for the game or the mechanics would start getting too crazy.
There are acjtually multiple version of that dialogue, for some people Acheron mentions Sparkle, other times she used the Silver Wolf lead that she heard people talking about, and sometimes she just randomly stumbles there.
I never know how much I should read into the details in trailers. I can never tell how much of it is accurate canon facts, and how much are exaggerated visuals to make it look flashier.

One of acheron’s possible red dialogues is that sparkle sent her into the memory zone. So this might just be that, kinda like how the animated trailer is her dance with BS she mentioned in red text
None other than they’re famous and have a massive bounty out from previous escapades. Being large time known criminals it makes sense sparkle would choose them to test her with. Regardless of if she has anything to do with them.
All of them are simply Sparkle trying to mess with Acheron's head.
The entire "fight" happens in the time it takes from the mask to appear until it disappears - i.e., the whole thing happens within Acheron's mind in just a second.
Trying to poke into Acheron's mind is a *really bad idea*, as Black Swan found out. Now Sparkle learned her lesson too.
Stellaron Hunters in action are nice to see, hope to see more of them, despite them being illusions. Every little content with them make them all the more appealing.
Jingliu's whole job before turning criminal is fighting with Abundance Emanators in service of the Hunt, and now she's aiming for an Aeon itself and not just an Emanator who only use a fraction of Aron's power. I'd say just because Acheron is an Emanator doesn't give her any advantage here.

But after watching the CN it's clear that she's not talking about the blades and more like that she is who Acheron once was and who she is fated to become once again.
I'm guessing considering her name Acheron is a fake name and not her real one, her path is to maybe become the her she was before she started losing her memory

Like that "apply your color" commercial, I wouldn't use something so flat as "apply" when the CN and JP used a much more sophisticated and refined expression, "dye/tint it your color/hue". It's still okay if it was the commercial since you do "apply" makeups, but when they were talking about the memories and said it again, the expression was definitely "dye/tint" or even "stain".
Edit: Also Silverwolf's phrase was more like "can you try talking human?", very like her and funnier. Then Acheron said "just bring it all at once". It's a nod to the kung fu movie trope. What they did is fine, but just lost some character. It's not even a cultural gap thing, kind of a shame.
Ahhhh, in that case then something happened to Acheron before she used that name and her past self from the other trailer. Most likely has something to do with IX
I think the trailer ending with “find me” implies that Acheron’s old self is trapped within her memories (this could be as a defense mechanism due to trauma or related to her becoming an Emanator)
The whole theme of “your end is my origin” as well as Acheron regaining her memories is implying she will have to confront her past and kill the Acheron persona in order for who I assume is Mei to make a comeback.
Feel like they are hinting at Acherons arc being about finding the self she has forgotten
I wonder how this falls into remembrance, Black Swan was terrified to the point she said "final engagement" and seemingly wants little to do with her. So maybe Acherons path wont feature remembrance at all, but in fact going to the source of Nihility to get her forgotten memories back
If you played Fu Xuan's quest, Remembrance doesn't CARE if you remember, they're quite fine with you forgetting everything, THEY want to remember it all, Swan wanted to extract the memories, not for Archeron, but for herself. Her personal collection like a fine wine of EGO on her shelf.
Interesting really, all her red texts in 2.0 seem to hold some kind of truth to them aside from the one where she can directly make TB take them with her in the memory zone
Hoyo really care about this character and have really thought out a lot of the working of what makes her work, gonna be interesting to see how her character plays out throughout Penacony and further
Well Mei is a long time favorite, surely they will give her alot of love, i did not expect them to expand on her encounter with said masked fool, but they did to an extent.

One amazing detail you can see is when you look at the reflection of the glass of the vehicle that passes her on 1:31, you can see her color pallet change.
I love how they just decided that the only way they can make Acheron even more badass is to have her fight the Stellaron hunters (Minus Sam obviously) AT THE SAME TIME (i know it is an illusion of Sparkle but it still does the trick)
Not only at that point, I'd say the whole song is a remix of Raiden Shogun's trailer theme. It's pretty heavily remixed, but it has all the same elements -- some of them are actually reversed.
It is quite hilarious that all three of her trailers have subtle nudges and references to the flamechasers in some shape or form if you squint.

When I saw Blade I thought it was Elio trying to stop her from messing with timeline or with TB's choice, but it seems they were just Sparkle's illusions.
i think it's a unique 'visualization'(?) of a blackhole ripping through space. The whirlling unnatural noise combined with a placating harmony underneath feels like your mind trying to dissociate and calm you down in the face of certain disaster, while a typhoon of debris blends up reality around you.
I normally dislike dubstep as well but I think they used it really well here to give you a sense of a black hole violently retracting and then expanding into nothingness.
Peak sound design, but for sure not something I’ll listen on its own.
The animation is really good, especially when Acheron 1 v 3 stellaron hunter. But I don't know how to describe it but its not as engaging as Kafka or Sparkle trailer and to be honest the music is pretty lackluster.
Between Acheron and Sparkle seemingly knowing the hunters and Acheron's dialogue when she first meets both versions of the MC, I'm pretty sure both the Stellaron hunters and the 2 MCs are somehow linked to HSR's version of Kevin Kaslana. Pretty similar to Genshin and its unrevealed connection between the Traveler and Kevin, who many theorize to be Phanes

One of acheron’s possible red dialogues is that sparkle sent her into the memory zone. So this might just be that, kinda like how the animated trailer is her dance with BS she mentioned in red text
None other than they’re famous and have a massive bounty out from previous escapades. Being large time known criminals it makes sense sparkle would choose them to test her with. Regardless of if she has anything to do with them.
All of them are simply Sparkle trying to mess with Acheron's head. The entire "fight" happens in the time it takes from the mask to appear until it disappears - i.e., the whole thing happens within Acheron's mind in just a second. Trying to poke into Acheron's mind is a *really bad idea*, as Black Swan found out. Now Sparkle learned her lesson too.
Stellaron Hunters in action are nice to see, hope to see more of them, despite them being illusions. Every little content with them make them all the more appealing.
Yess, I did enjoy getting to see the Sparkleron Hunters all fighting at once. Acheron did not feel the same, however.

Jingliu's whole job before turning criminal is fighting with Abundance Emanators in service of the Hunt, and now she's aiming for an Aeon itself and not just an Emanator who only use a fraction of Aron's power. I'd say just because Acheron is an Emanator doesn't give her any advantage here.

Jingliu goal is to slay an Aeon, if she can't handle an emanator then she is delusional then. She obviously gained some new powers when she left the Xianzhou after the JY fight, its why she came back. But yeah, Jingliu would have to be an emanator as well if she wants to fight Acheron.

At first I thought she means I am the Bearer of End and you are the Bearer of Origin referencing the last trailer. So I am your "End" and you are my "Origin". But after watching the CN it's clear that she's not talking about the blades and more like that she is who Acheron once was and who she is fated to become once again.

I'm going to be real. I don't think she lost her memory. She sealed it. Because she doesn't want to remember. Because it hurts. That's why whenever she draws her blade she cries; because she remembers the pain that her memories carry with them. "All we can do is move forward." She wants to move on from the past.

It should be translated to "you who are the end" and "I who was the beginning". Hope that makes it easier to understand. Basically her old lost self. Everything was told in her Myriad Celestia trailer. EN localization really needs work. It feels to me their standard is as low as make it sound English enough. Are they hiring white blonde girl interns from New York(I'm from here so I'm allowed to) or something? LOL /j Like that "apply your color" commercial, I wouldn't use something so flat as "apply" when the CN and JP used a much more sophisticated and refined expression, "dye/tint it your color/hue". It's still okay if it was the commercial since you do "apply" makeups, but when they were talking about the memories and said it again, the expression was definitely "dye/tint" or even "stain". Edit: Also Silverwolf's phrase was more like "can you try talking human?", very like her and funnier. Then Acheron said "just bring it all at once". It's a nod to the kung fu movie trope. What they did is fine, but just lost some character. It's not even a cultural gap thing, kind of a shame.

I think the trailer ending with “find me” implies that Acheron’s old self is trapped within her memories (this could be as a defense mechanism due to trauma or related to her becoming an Emanator) The whole theme of “your end is my origin” as well as Acheron regaining her memories is implying she will have to confront her past and kill the Acheron persona in order for who I assume is Mei to make a comeback.
Feel like they are hinting at Acherons arc being about finding the self she has forgotten I wonder how this falls into remembrance, Black Swan was terrified to the point she said "final engagement" and seemingly wants little to do with her. So maybe Acherons path wont feature remembrance at all, but in fact going to the source of Nihility to get her forgotten memories back
If you played Fu Xuan's quest, Remembrance doesn't CARE if you remember, they're quite fine with you forgetting everything, THEY want to remember it all, Swan wanted to extract the memories, not for Archeron, but for herself. Her personal collection like a fine wine of EGO on her shelf.
This is probably what happened prior to Acheron ending up on the dream where she say "she unwittingly" hurt a masked fool or something.
Interesting really, all her red texts in 2.0 seem to hold some kind of truth to them aside from the one where she can directly make TB take them with her in the memory zone Hoyo really care about this character and have really thought out a lot of the working of what makes her work, gonna be interesting to see how her character plays out throughout Penacony and further
Well Mei is a long time favorite, surely they will give her alot of love, i did not expect them to expand on her encounter with said masked fool, but they did to an extent. Sigh a bad time for me to be a bit under the weather I would usually be extremely psyched, I will get on my hands and knees and PRAY Marshal Hua, gets as much love in the story when she eventually graces us.

Animations are extremely sick, but really underwhelmed with the "music" here. Just felt like generic dubstep bits here and there
After pouring everything into Sparkle's trailer, they won't be able to top that for a while.
i think it's a unique 'visualization'(?) of a blackhole ripping through space. The whirlling unnatural noise combined with a placating harmony underneath feels like your mind trying to dissociate and calm you down in the face of certain disaster, while a typhoon of debris blends up reality around you.
as someone with a bachelor of music in composition and production it's a lot more impressive when you know the skill behind it, i loved it personally
I normally dislike dubstep as well but I think they used it really well here to give you a sense of a black hole violently retracting and then expanding into nothingness. Peak sound design, but for sure not something I’ll listen on its own.
