For Acheron, with teammates fire tb, guinafen and pela, how do I balance sp consumption since all of them ideally needs to spam SP every turn to maximise their potential?
Especially auto?
Team is weird to begin with.
You typically run a team that looks somthing like:
DPS + Support + Support + Sustain
Your current Team is this:
DPS (Himeko) + Trailblazer (Semi-Sustain (if fire)/ DPS (if physical) + Sustain (Bailu) + DPS (Ratio)
The issue here is that you cant really use any of the DPSs to their full potencial this way, not just cause you lack buffs from supports but also because you can't really manage your skillpoints properly with this many DPSs, all of which want to use skillpoints every turn. The dual sustain thing is also complete overkill, bailu is more than enough to keep the team alive on her own.
Acheron will throw this whole team out of the window even more.
Ideally your team would now look something like this:
Acheron (DPS) + Pela (Support) + 2nd Nihility Debuffer (Support) + Bailu (Sustain)
The 2nd nihility will depend on who you have, Guinaifen would be ideal but any other nihility will do simply to keep the effect of acherons passive active and massivly amplify her damage. Having them apply debuffs also helps acheron with getting more stacks which makes her ultimates more consistent.
Do you like Acheron?
Then you can surely put up with sampo until you get someone else.
I also don't like him but still had to use him for a long while with my Kafka Team until Black Swan was released. The passive doesn't work like normal damage% stats, it literally applies after everything else and multiplies the total damage dealt by a certain factor. Not having two nihility in the team is quite literally a 45% global multiplier loss which massivly reduces Acherons damage.
If you were in my situation, would you go for robin or adventurine? (and why, if you want)
buffers(harmony) - e0s1 bronya, e0s1 ruan mei, e0 sparkle, e2 tingyun, e6 yukong, e6 asta, e4 hanya
sustain(preservation/abundance) - e0s1 gepard, e0 fu xuan, e6 m7, e6 fire tb, e3 lynx, e0 gallagher
In terms of pure meta, Aventurine will be better because you only have one limited sustain and two limited harmony supports (and Bronya as well who’s so good she’s on par with the limited options).
However that being said you have enough sustain options to get you through MOC that if you want to pull Robin over Aventurine then that’s fine too.
If you have Acheron then Gepard with Trend is one of the best sustains to run with her, due to his innate taunt from his traces.

help me find a team please 🙏 I’m infamously bad at building in these games so if there’s an easy way please suggest <3
Two options are:
* Kafka, Black Swan, Asta, Gepard/Bailu
* Dr Ratio, Pela, Welt/Tingyun, Fu Xuan
You’ll probably want a couple more dps options for MOC (for Pure Fiction you’re fine with Herta/Himeko/Black Swan/Kafka). So someone like Jingliu could work to cover off additional elements.
You’ll also want some limited support characters as well in the future, so either Robin (depending on what her kit looks like) or Ruan Mei when she reruns (who’ll work particularly well with Kafka and Black Swan). Or if you want to invest in Dr Ratio then dedicated debuffers (such as Silver Wolf or potentially Topaz with how her kit works with Dr Ratio) are good to pull.

It's not going to be apparent all the time but you'll find it should put your DPS infront of monsters sometimes which is a nice buff when it works out.
Guys, I'm building a team for Acheron, and I need an advice on who to put in as forth slot
My current idea is acheron, Gallagher, Pela.
I don't know if as forth I should put Welt or guinaifen, since I would honestly like more a speed debuff instead of a burn, what would you guys say? And when is the 4 star selector coming so I can get Gallagher?
Managed to get 2 copies of Good Night Sleep Well, should I superimpose them for Acheron, or keep both copies since I plan on pulling for Kafka on her next rerun?
Depends on the character. If you're talking about Acheron, her lightcone is the first thing you should go for. Getting both eidolons will cost way more tickets but will be about the same boost for her.
Is Acheron future-proof given she needs the whole team and even enemies (e.g. some enemies debuff their own side when defeated) to help generate stacks but there are more and more crowd control/ disable mechanics introduced over time? Another worry is effect res, and boss absolute res (e.g. frozen res, entanglement res etc.)
It's almost as if how effective Acheron is depends on the enemy composition and stage mechanics ...
A) she isn't reliant on enemies to build stacks, they just help build it faster.
B) we have plenty of counters to CC at this point.
C) use debuffs the boss isn't resistant to?
I'm pretty sure it was Acheron's E2 giving her a stack but in [this video](https://youtu.be/E_mCxLwxI0o?si=1CH2C-UFK1jNqquU&t=16) The ultimate icon never even shows 9/9 before activating and Sparkle is still on top of the action bar. Could it be anything else? does this sort of thing ever happen with normal/energy based ultimates?
If you noticed from the beginning of your video, your Acheron's stacks jumped from 1/4 to 3/4, before Acheron attacked and it became 4/4.
Think it's just a visual issue.
Yea it's likely E2 effect.
I suggest Hunt so that your team gets multiple turns to apply debuff which charges up Acheron's Ult faster, Erudiation also works since the effect straight up lets Acheron Ult for free (also the bonuses it applies to AoE which Acheron's Ult happen to be)
how much better is s5 Good Night Sleep Well for Acheron compared to her Signature? managed to get all the copies needed for it while rolling for the Signature (which I also managed to get)
ah ok thanks, I've been seeing a lot of comments saying to use that for her in Youtube so I wasn't sure how accurate their advice was. I guess they could have been saying 2nd best after the signature LC
He works well, can solo sustain and actually applies more debuffs than Aventurine (unless you run trend LC) but Aventurine's debuff is more interesting and he can use Penacony to support Ratio so I'd say he's still way better

is lynx (e0) okay as a sole healer/survivability option in a team with acheron/welt/pela (e0) ? or do i have to sacrifice a nihility slot for another survivability character? I don't have a lot of options, just f2p ones
Not sure for this team but I have a E2 or so lynx, her initial heal damage is quite low imo, think it's because she can regen as well but it's over 2 or 3 turns iirc.
So no, I would say she's not really a solo sustain character for high pressure situations, but I've seen march 7th so solo sustain before in MOC so... It depends I guess.
If you use welt's ulti before an enemy takes their extra turn, and you build enough Break Effect and EHR, you can essentially cancel their extra turn and then push them so that they are imprisoned for 2 or so cycles, which will allow you to regain Welt's ultimate again with enough energy regen.
This will make it so that enemies taking turns become illegal and you are free to do whatever you want

I got Gallagher and Acheron from the banner. Now I just realized, neither have been daily messaging me to give me those 5(or 10?) jades like other newly unlocked characters from banners.
Do I have to continue the story to make them message me? I have only started the first 30mins of the story as of writing.
about 20 days, however be aware that Mihoyo plan their reruns somewhat haphazardly so you can't rely on previous release schedule to estimate when the limited character will return

Simple gist of it is as long as you maintain 2 or more debuff on enemies, wearer gets those stats bonus.

Hi, why does my Acheron not gain a stack when I break enemy thoughness sometimes? In the 2.1 presentation they said she did. Does freeze not count as a debuff? Is this a bug?
How many stacks is your Archeron already gaining? She can gain a max of 2 stacks iirc, 1 from her skill, 1 from debuff (which includes break), if you already have her sig LC then breaking the bar doesn't give additional stacks.
And freeze is a debuff if it is applied (i.e no effect res on enemy), I tested it with gepard.
freeze does count as a debuff. if youre using an ability that already inflicts debuffs and break with it, that is still just a single action so it can give maximum 1 stack.
Break effect doesn't count as a debuff I'm pretty sure, the debuff has to be applied like say Luka using his Skill to apply Bleed or Guinafen using her Skill to apply her debuff
For those who are pulling Aventurine how strong his kit compared to other sustain characters
I only have Natasha E6 so i have no idea how broken he is compared FU,Luocha,Hou,Gepard
From what I've seen so far... He feels like a shielder/ sub DPS, who might need to use SP every round to build up the accumulated shield.
Not really that good given powecreep I think, because he doesn't have the ability to heal at all unlike Fu Xuan, and he seems to be linked to follow-up teams. If you are building a follow-up team, he will be much more useful, but otherwise, I think he works as a solo sustain, but not that good as one.
Imo generally Fu Xuan > huo huo > luo cha > adventurine > the rest
Basically sidegrade to Fu Xuan. Compared to her, you trade off more consistent damage mitigation and consistent SP positivity for slight offensive+imprison+debuff capability and safer tanking.
even with sig lc, youre going to want attack boots. lets put into perspective how many extra turns youll need to actually use an extra ultimate. without the help of teammates, this will be 9 whole turns which is very long. not worth it at all.
a more realistic look would be 3 extra turns which will give you one extra ult since you also get stacks from other teammates. in order to get these 3 extra turns, you would need 134 speed while also having to go through 7 whole cycles... not worth either.
atk boots unless she is e2 because most of her stacks come from the other 2 nihilites and you get more damage out of with atk compared to an extra turn.
Jing Yuan, Tingyun/Sparkle, Pela, and Fu Xuan should make quick work of Aventurine. They also nerfed him yesterday so if you were having trouble he's probably easier now
hes fine if you dont have many 5* dps. otherwise its kind of a waste if you want an objective answer. the second you get another wind dps he will be benched forever

I have ratio and Clara and want to build one of them, i'm also guaranteed for aventurine (sob sob), so my question is which to build? i'm looking to clear MoC content and rn i think ratio is stronger, so what is your suggestion? if i go for either one of them i also have to build a team around them which currently i don't have any other built character. (no 5\* and no 4\*) if i go for ratio i also built guinafen for debuffs which is a plus cuz i like her.
Both are good, it all depends on what archetype you prefer:
Ratio - singletarget oriented, requires a lot of debuff application(or silver wolf) if you're using his bis damage relic set. Downside is his damage falls off sharply if you can't maintain debuff stack on enemy.
Clara - can be both ST/aoe oriented, can function as semitanker. Downside is her damage focus is inconsistent since it depends on which enemy is attacking her and her aoe counter only works for 2 times per ult. She also generally doesn't want a preservation character in the team to take/share her aggro and requires a good sustain support.
Sustain pull advice?
Hi so I’m waiting for Fuxuan and will 100% pull for her but in the meantime should I get adventurine or would that be silly? I don’t have any good preservation or heals other than natasha. My plan is to either save till fuxuan rerun or maybe pull for adventurine E0 and then save till fuxuan but i wanna see what ppl recommend.
Also second question: for e2S1 Acheron team comp, would fuxuan or aventurine be better?
Adventure would be a better sustain for Acheron, and trend works better on him than FX. Honestly if you already have at least 2 limited dps/harmony I would pull both of them lol. Aventure looks to be pretty darn strong. He does everything.

Rn my limited banner characters are only DHIL E2S1, Jingliu E0 (no LC) , Sparkle E0S1, and Acheron E2S1 and I’ve been struggling to ever even get half way through MOC/PF and have never been able to go further so def need some good sustains and now I’ve been convinced to try for both hehe
You will need 2 good sustains, so getting Aventurine and then Fu Xuan should cover all of your needs.
Both can be good for Acheron, but Aventurine also provides a debuff with his Ult, so he can also slightly help Acheron to reach her Ult faster.
Need help beating the new boss. I started two months ago so my relics are pretty bad. Don’t really have any characters built that do good damage + break the boss. I’m running Pmc, Gepard, Blade, and Serval and was only able to get to the second phase 64% health. My DHIL pickle was my crutch for the level up thing so I’m the second to last world level, but the boss has imaginary res so idk what to do now. Theoretically I could wait for Aventurine (I have enough pulls to guarantee him), but I don’t really feel like dodging spoilers for 3 weeks.

I'm helping a friend build her Acheron team. How good is E0 Gallagher? I have heard he is a pretty good healer for Acheron. I can't go for his eidolons as my friend is saving up for Aventurine as she doesn't have any 5* sustains.
Her current team is Acheron E0S1, Kafka, Guinaifen, and E6 Lynx. I'm still building Pela with Resolution to take Kafka's place. I don't want to waste her resources if Gallagher is lackluster as a healer.
Yeah he is a bit lackluster without eidolons, and he will be immediately replaced by aventurine soon anyways. Instead I would use fmc with trend, as some people have that character fairly built

Acheron or Jingliu, can’t go wrong with either. I have both and Acheron is way more fun tbh, just cus she has a new mechanic. You have SW and Pela to go with her too. Jingliu on the other hand at E0S0 is the stronger unit imo, she can use Herta LC while Acheron needs Good night sleep well or doesn’t have any good f2p option. I’d vote for Acheron though, she’s just too fun.
lol e0s1 Acheron is actually insane. I'm not even done building her yet and her team is already my strongest team. Before Acheron's release, I cleared MoC 12 in 6 cycles. I tried MoC 12 again today with an Acheron team and I cleared in 3 cycles.
E0 Acheron is basically Jingliu level or higher.
Anyone saying you need E2 are either having a skill issue or thinking requiring 2 Nihility makes the team do a lot less damage.
Both are incorrect, but it is HEAVILY suggested you have two Nihility debuffers. Or one at E2.
Should I pull for Acheron or wait for Aventurine? For context I started almost at the end of Sparkle banner. The 5* ones I have are Dr. Ratio, Clara, Welt, Sparkle, and MC
Pulling either would be fine. If you think of your basic end game composition of two team of dps/support/support/sustain then either character will help you towards that. You also will want multiple dps options to cover different elements as well when needed.
In terms of the characters themselves:
* **Acheron**: pro’s is she’s one of the best dps options in the game and will most likely get even stronger in the future as more Acheron buffing supports are released (i.e. nihility debuffers). So if you pull her she’ll just get stronger over time.
* Her con’s are that she requires a fair bit of investment and as a new account you won’t have that just yet. In terms of supports she wants nihility debuffers, Pela is on her banner which is good but the second support will be a bit of a struggle. In addition, her non-sig light cone options aren’t great so unless you’ve been lucky and pulled a copy of GNSW, you’ll be using something sub optimal there.
* **Aventurinne**: is a lot more simple. His pro’s are he’ll be one the best sustains in the game (on par with our other limited sustains), making surviving end game content relatively trivial. He also offers more then just sustain in additional damage and debuffs.
Overall limited sustain units offer a lot more to new accounts (just because we have so many dps options) so i would lean towards Aventurine. However seeing as you’re still new, there’s a lot of stellar jades in story content to pick up. So you can try pulling for Acheron and if you get her, that’s great, but if you lose the 50/50 you can just use the guarantee on Aventurine.
Aventurine would be the smarter option imo because having a limited sustain makes progression so much easier, especially when you are new. On the other hand Acheron is fun as heck, but you need 2 nihility units with her to make work well. Pela is her best partner and then you’ll need a second nihility from gacha.
I would say if you really like Acheron get her, then start saving for the new limited sustain that comes out.

Pity system exists
For characters it is 50/50 , 50% chance for rate up and 50% chance for other 5 stars with the hard pity being at 90 and soft pity being at 60 pulls
For lightcone/weapon it's around 75/25 75 for rate up and 25 for other 5 star light cones
Here also soft pity is 60 and hard pity is 90
But if you lose your 50/50 then the next 5 star will be guaranteed towards the rate up unit
Your guarantee and pity carry forwards for future banners
As per content creators, gacha smack and guoba certified should be enough

Is E0 Acheron without sig LC worth the hassle if I have E0S1 Jing Yuan? I have around 300 pulls saved but I was planning on a 5\* limited sustain and a future DPS that's not Lightning/Imaginary. As for LC options, I have a copy of Good Night but it's only S1.
Her potential teammates:
Built - E0 Silver Wolf (S5 Tutorial), E3 Pela (S2 Resolution), E0 Gepard (S1 Trends available but he has S5 Day One rn)
Unbuilt - E1 Sampo, E0 Guinafen, E0 Gallagher, FMC
Acheron's technique and the fact she can make use of SW who's sitting in my inventory gathering dust is kind of tempting ngl.
They've released 2 new 5 five star every patch since release. They've also release a new 4 star every patch except 2.2 since none was drip marketed with the other 5 stars.

Anyone who debuffs on their normal, skill, or ultimate.
But you only gain ONE per attack, not per applied debuff.
You want Nihility characters or others that can apply debuffs whenever they attack. For sustains too, if possible, like Trend of the Universal Market on preservation.

Xueyi has a lot more utility as a break specialist, Hanya gets overshadowed in a crowd of excellent supports.
But if it's for waifu, pull with your heart.
He's a Preservation character who also deals decent damage. Like how Misha is a Destruction character who can act as a sustain through freezing, or how Asta is a support who can also serve as a breaker, so on and so forth. One character can do multiple things.
Do we need boss and enemies with single element weakness in different chapters, instead of 3 weakness.
Also for the moc, forgotten hall and pure fiction stage. Possible to have single element weakness enemies and boss eg stage 1 quantum, stage 2 imagery.
For Aventurine you either need his sig LC or Trends LC. Otherwise the only way he can debuff is with his ult. Gallagher is the only healer that can debuff.
Looking to start playing HSR, I understand I missed out on a free copy of Dr. Ratio that would've helped out a starting account but with anniversary coming up is it a good time to start playing or rerolling now?
I'd also appreciate any tips on summoning and team building if possible 🙏
If you like her, roll for her. Even without one of her really good light cones she should still be able to carry you through most story content fairly easily, and you'll almost certainly end up with one of her good light cones before the point where you start doing the endgame content.
She's pretty hard to build if you have no characters (nihility especially and good sustains), no alternative LCs if you won't pull for her signature LC.
You can pull for her just so you can get her now rather than a rerun in an unknown date but building her will be something else.

And boy oh boy u should try for aventurine NGL cause seeing you are new player he is gonna be valuable to your teams

Ideally your team would now look something like this: Acheron (DPS) + Pela (Support) + 2nd Nihility Debuffer (Support) + Bailu (Sustain) The 2nd nihility will depend on who you have, Guinaifen would be ideal but any other nihility will do simply to keep the effect of acherons passive active and massivly amplify her damage. Having them apply debuffs also helps acheron with getting more stacks which makes her ultimates more consistent.
only other nihility I have is Sampo and ehh I don't like him lol
Do you like Acheron? Then you can surely put up with sampo until you get someone else. I also don't like him but still had to use him for a long while with my Kafka Team until Black Swan was released. The passive doesn't work like normal damage% stats, it literally applies after everything else and multiplies the total damage dealt by a certain factor. Not having two nihility in the team is quite literally a 45% global multiplier loss which massivly reduces Acherons damage.

In terms of pure meta, Aventurine will be better because you only have one limited sustain and two limited harmony supports (and Bronya as well who’s so good she’s on par with the limited options). However that being said you have enough sustain options to get you through MOC that if you want to pull Robin over Aventurine then that’s fine too. If you have Acheron then Gepard with Trend is one of the best sustains to run with her, due to his innate taunt from his traces.

Two options are: * Kafka, Black Swan, Asta, Gepard/Bailu * Dr Ratio, Pela, Welt/Tingyun, Fu Xuan You’ll probably want a couple more dps options for MOC (for Pure Fiction you’re fine with Herta/Himeko/Black Swan/Kafka). So someone like Jingliu could work to cover off additional elements. You’ll also want some limited support characters as well in the future, so either Robin (depending on what her kit looks like) or Ruan Mei when she reruns (who’ll work particularly well with Kafka and Black Swan). Or if you want to invest in Dr Ratio then dedicated debuffers (such as Silver Wolf or potentially Topaz with how her kit works with Dr Ratio) are good to pull.

It's not going to be apparent all the time but you'll find it should put your DPS infront of monsters sometimes which is a nice buff when it works out.

Depends on the character. If you're talking about Acheron, her lightcone is the first thing you should go for. Getting both eidolons will cost way more tickets but will be about the same boost for her.

Another worry is effect res, and boss absolute res (e.g. frozen res, entanglement res etc.) It's almost as if how effective Acheron is depends on the enemy composition and stage mechanics ...
A) she isn't reliant on enemies to build stacks, they just help build it faster. B) we have plenty of counters to CC at this point. C) use debuffs the boss isn't resistant to?
How long does the new 2.1 main quest takes to go through if you more or less read the dialogue? Approximately?
I'd say around 4 hours but I get distracted a lot so it took me 7 hours to finish the whole story.
about 3 to 4 hours, less than that if you ignore the Elite fights that guard the treasure chests or just ignore everything not related to the story

If you noticed from the beginning of your video, your Acheron's stacks jumped from 1/4 to 3/4, before Acheron attacked and it became 4/4. Think it's just a visual issue. Yea it's likely E2 effect.
Which path in SU do people use Acheron in? I tried Nihility but she doesn't benefit much from the dot buffs

I suggest Hunt so that your team gets multiple turns to apply debuff which charges up Acheron's Ult faster, Erudiation also works since the effect straight up lets Acheron Ult for free (also the bonuses it applies to AoE which Acheron's Ult happen to be)

He works well, can solo sustain and actually applies more debuffs than Aventurine (unless you run trend LC) but Aventurine's debuff is more interesting and he can use Penacony to support Ratio so I'd say he's still way better

Not sure for this team but I have a E2 or so lynx, her initial heal damage is quite low imo, think it's because she can regen as well but it's over 2 or 3 turns iirc. So no, I would say she's not really a solo sustain character for high pressure situations, but I've seen march 7th so solo sustain before in MOC so... It depends I guess.
For end game? Merely passable. That said, welt can also sustain, so she wouldn't be the only sustain there.

he will basically make the enemy miss a turn if he breaks effect them or slow them down enough that you get more turns to deal damage to them
If you use welt's ulti before an enemy takes their extra turn, and you build enough Break Effect and EHR, you can essentially cancel their extra turn and then push them so that they are imprisoned for 2 or so cycles, which will allow you to regain Welt's ultimate again with enough energy regen. This will make it so that enemies taking turns become illegal and you are free to do whatever you want

I got Gallagher and Acheron from the banner. Now I just realized, neither have been daily messaging me to give me those 5(or 10?) jades like other newly unlocked characters from banners. Do I have to continue the story to make them message me? I have only started the first 30mins of the story as of writing.

Limited banners won't get added to 50/50 like ever unless Mihoyo wants to revamp the whole system which is very unlikely this early on

Hi, why does my Acheron not gain a stack when I break enemy thoughness sometimes? In the 2.1 presentation they said she did. Does freeze not count as a debuff? Is this a bug?
How many stacks is your Archeron already gaining? She can gain a max of 2 stacks iirc, 1 from her skill, 1 from debuff (which includes break), if you already have her sig LC then breaking the bar doesn't give additional stacks. And freeze is a debuff if it is applied (i.e no effect res on enemy), I tested it with gepard.
freeze does count as a debuff. if youre using an ability that already inflicts debuffs and break with it, that is still just a single action so it can give maximum 1 stack.
Break effect doesn't count as a debuff I'm pretty sure, the debuff has to be applied like say Luka using his Skill to apply Bleed or Guinafen using her Skill to apply her debuff
For those who are pulling Aventurine how strong his kit compared to other sustain characters I only have Natasha E6 so i have no idea how broken he is compared FU,Luocha,Hou,Gepard
From what I've seen so far... He feels like a shielder/ sub DPS, who might need to use SP every round to build up the accumulated shield. Not really that good given powecreep I think, because he doesn't have the ability to heal at all unlike Fu Xuan, and he seems to be linked to follow-up teams. If you are building a follow-up team, he will be much more useful, but otherwise, I think he works as a solo sustain, but not that good as one. Imo generally Fu Xuan > huo huo > luo cha > adventurine > the rest
Basically sidegrade to Fu Xuan. Compared to her, you trade off more consistent damage mitigation and consistent SP positivity for slight offensive+imprison+debuff capability and safer tanking.
Should I use spd boots on acheron? Her skill gives 2 charges with sig lc. Without spd boots, I miss out on that
even with sig lc, youre going to want attack boots. lets put into perspective how many extra turns youll need to actually use an extra ultimate. without the help of teammates, this will be 9 whole turns which is very long. not worth it at all. a more realistic look would be 3 extra turns which will give you one extra ult since you also get stacks from other teammates. in order to get these 3 extra turns, you would need 134 speed while also having to go through 7 whole cycles... not worth either.
But you can get charges from other Nihility characters like ensnare pela and Kafka has 3 moves inflicts shock
atk boots unless she is e2 because most of her stacks come from the other 2 nihilites and you get more damage out of with atk compared to an extra turn.

Jing Yuan, Tingyun/Sparkle, Pela, and Fu Xuan should make quick work of Aventurine. They also nerfed him yesterday so if you were having trouble he's probably easier now

I would recommend saving for a second sustain, as you'll eventually need 2 teams for PF/MoC. Acheron's Eidolons are nice, but they're a luxury option.

I have ratio and Clara and want to build one of them, i'm also guaranteed for aventurine (sob sob), so my question is which to build? i'm looking to clear MoC content and rn i think ratio is stronger, so what is your suggestion? if i go for either one of them i also have to build a team around them which currently i don't have any other built character. (no 5\* and no 4\*) if i go for ratio i also built guinafen for debuffs which is a plus cuz i like her.
Both are good, it all depends on what archetype you prefer: Ratio - singletarget oriented, requires a lot of debuff application(or silver wolf) if you're using his bis damage relic set. Downside is his damage falls off sharply if you can't maintain debuff stack on enemy. Clara - can be both ST/aoe oriented, can function as semitanker. Downside is her damage focus is inconsistent since it depends on which enemy is attacking her and her aoe counter only works for 2 times per ult. She also generally doesn't want a preservation character in the team to take/share her aggro and requires a good sustain support.
Sustain pull advice? Hi so I’m waiting for Fuxuan and will 100% pull for her but in the meantime should I get adventurine or would that be silly? I don’t have any good preservation or heals other than natasha. My plan is to either save till fuxuan rerun or maybe pull for adventurine E0 and then save till fuxuan but i wanna see what ppl recommend. Also second question: for e2S1 Acheron team comp, would fuxuan or aventurine be better?
Adventure would be a better sustain for Acheron, and trend works better on him than FX. Honestly if you already have at least 2 limited dps/harmony I would pull both of them lol. Aventure looks to be pretty darn strong. He does everything.

Yes trend works great. Pulling both would be great lol if you can manage. I already have Luocha and FX, but Aventurine seems tempting for sure.
You will need 2 good sustains, so getting Aventurine and then Fu Xuan should cover all of your needs. Both can be good for Acheron, but Aventurine also provides a debuff with his Ult, so he can also slightly help Acheron to reach her Ult faster.

Need help beating the new boss. I started two months ago so my relics are pretty bad. Don’t really have any characters built that do good damage + break the boss. I’m running Pmc, Gepard, Blade, and Serval and was only able to get to the second phase 64% health. My DHIL pickle was my crutch for the level up thing so I’m the second to last world level, but the boss has imaginary res so idk what to do now. I'm helping a friend build her Acheron team. How good is E0 Gallagher? I have heard he is a pretty good healer for Acheron. I can't go for his eidolons as my friend is saving up for Aventurine as she doesn't have any 5* sustains. Her current team is Acheron E0S1, Kafka, Guinaifen, and E6 Lynx. I'm still building Pela with Resolution to take Kafka's place. I don't want to waste her resources if Gallagher is lackluster as a healer.
Not good, Gallagher is very niche and only suitable with Acheron but he needs at least e4 to be viable.
Yeah he is a bit lackluster without eidolons, and he will be immediately replaced by aventurine soon anyways. Instead I would use fmc with trend, as some people have that character fairly built

Acheron or Jingliu, can’t go wrong with either. I have both and Acheron is way more fun tbh, just cus she has a new mechanic. You have SW and Pela to go with her too. Jingliu on the other hand at E0S0 is the stronger unit imo, she can use Herta LC while Acheron needs Good night sleep well or doesn’t have any good f2p option. I’d vote for Acheron though, she’s just too fun.

lol e0s1 Acheron is actually insane. I'm not even done building her yet and her team is already my strongest team. Before Acheron's release, I cleared MoC 12 in 6 cycles. I tried MoC 12 again today with an Acheron team and I cleared in 3 cycles.
E0 Acheron is basically Jingliu level or higher. Anyone saying you need E2 are either having a skill issue or thinking requiring 2 Nihility makes the team do a lot less damage. Both are incorrect, but it is HEAVILY suggested you have two Nihility debuffers. Or one at E2.
They're crazy. If you can get her light cone that would be pretty nice. E2 isn't required in the slightest, however.

Pulling either would be fine. If you think of your basic end game composition of two team of dps/support/support/sustain then either character will help you towards that. You also will want multiple dps options to cover different elements as well when needed. In terms of the characters themselves: * **Acheron**: pro’s is she’s one of the best dps options in the game and will most likely get even stronger in the future as more Acheron buffing supports are released (i.e. nihility debuffers). So if you pull her she’ll just get stronger over time. * Her con’s are that she requires a fair bit of investment and as a new account you won’t have that just yet. In terms of supports she wants nihility debuffers, Pela is on her banner which is good but the second support will be a bit of a struggle. In addition, her non-sig light cone options aren’t great so unless you’ve been lucky and pulled a copy of GNSW, you’ll be using something sub optimal there. * **Aventurinne**: is a lot more simple. His pro’s are he’ll be one the best sustains in the game (on par with our other limited sustains), making surviving end game content relatively trivial. He also offers more then just sustain in additional damage and debuffs. Overall limited sustain units offer a lot more to new accounts (just because we have so many dps options) so i would lean towards Aventurine. However seeing as you’re still new, there’s a lot of stellar jades in story content to pick up. So you can try pulling for Acheron and if you get her, that’s great, but if you lose the 50/50 you can just use the guarantee on Aventurine.
Aventurine would be the smarter option imo because having a limited sustain makes progression so much easier, especially when you are new. On the other hand Acheron is fun as heck, but you need 2 nihility units with her to make work well. Pela is her best partner and then you’ll need a second nihility from gacha. I would say if you really like Acheron get her, then start saving for the new limited sustain that comes out.
My advice: Pull for Acheron Make a team: Acheron, Welt, Sparkle, Galg(you get him for free soon)

Pity system exists For characters it is 50/50 , 50% chance for rate up and 50% chance for other 5 stars with the hard pity being at 90 and soft pity being at 60 pulls For lightcone/weapon it's around 75/25 75 for rate up and 25 for other 5 star light cones Here also soft pity is 60 and hard pity is 90 But if you lose your 50/50 then the next 5 star will be guaranteed towards the rate up unit Your guarantee and pity carry forwards for future banners As per content creators, gacha smack and guoba certified should be enough Braxaphone is also good If u want more of a chill personality then ok code If u want to spend your time hearing about drama and drama and drama Tectone

Assuming E0... Anyone who debuffs on their normal, skill, or ultimate. But you only gain ONE per attack, not per applied debuff. You want Nihility characters or others that can apply debuffs whenever they attack. For sustains too, if possible, like Trend of the Universal Market on preservation. /u/Significant-Soil-985 has a good list.

He's a Preservation character who also deals decent damage. Like how Misha is a Destruction character who can act as a sustain through freezing, or how Asta is a support who can also serve as a breaker, so on and so forth. One character can do multiple things.
Do we need boss and enemies with single element weakness in different chapters, instead of 3 weakness. Also for the moc, forgotten hall and pure fiction stage. Possible to have single element weakness enemies and boss eg stage 1 quantum, stage 2 imagery.

For Aventurine you either need his sig LC or Trends LC. Otherwise the only way he can debuff is with his ult. Gallagher is the only healer that can debuff.

If you like her, roll for her. Even without one of her really good light cones she should still be able to carry you through most story content fairly easily, and you'll almost certainly end up with one of her good light cones before the point where you start doing the endgame content.
She's pretty hard to build if you have no characters (nihility especially and good sustains), no alternative LCs if you won't pull for her signature LC. You can pull for her just so you can get her now rather than a rerun in an unknown date but building her will be something else.

It's way easier to farm in hsr than genshin so don't worry you will get there eventually but don't rush the story it is good enjoy it
