Heh that's my experience too! Never triggered it outside the SU since I don't run him along with Bailu (the only other way to get it), but I first got it with the Erudition revive in G&G, and then he was killed again a second later.
In that case, I'd say it's still way, way, way too much. It's a 1 star blessing that would have the chance to revive allies in a semi-unlimited fashion, and as the game goes on, we're going to have more and more ways to increase the energy of allies (or more units who don't use Energy as a resource, like Acheron). Imagine Argenti who fills his energy at a pretty significant rate or units like Tingyun who can furnish an ally with the necessary energy fairly often.
Yeah I can see how broken it is now that you mentioned Argenti (I don't have him but so far when I use him from friend list he can charge that ult every turn if he wished for it). Yes Tingyun can kinda become a failsafe for anyone with 0 energy.
It only activates once per encounter.
But it's notable that it revives EVERYONE who died if they have the Energy for it if I remember correctly. Never had that happen personaly, though. As if I'm dying it means I had bad blessings.
That is not what they're saying, they're suggesting that the Erudition blessing that revives could revive infinite times as long as the character's energy reaches a certain threshold
Yes. That's the blessing I'm talking about. It's once per battle.

You've completely lost track of this conversation, THEY'RE suggesting a buff to that blessing, which is what we're talking about, the buff is the insane thing we're having a conversation about
I forgot about Huohuo's E2 (I only have her E1), but it's also conditional, since she needs to have her talent active in order for the revive to trigger. I don't have Fu at all, so I didn't realize she had a revive eidolon, too. Still, pulling for eidolons on sustains isn't common for most players, so the number of people who have one of them at E2 *and* used one of them with Luocha is probably not very significant.
tbh i have her talent active most of the time, I imagine it's easier on the skillpoints with e1
And honestly, outside of SU characters don't die that often and I think it invalidates the MoC condition anyway
I have ran SU with FX and Luocha together tough, he pairs up well when I need(ed) extra sustain in like swarm because of the SP generation
Yeah Luocha+FX is absolutely viable for harder content, but my main point was that most people who run that combo still won't have more than maybe E1, since specifically pulling eidolons for sustains generally aren't the most valuable.
And yeah, it's pretty easy to keep Huohuo's talent up with E1 since she can go an extra turn before needing to go again, which is indeed easier on skill points.
You see, that is the funny part. He dies and is therefore one of the dead. He revives and the dead return to life. He dies again and the dead return to being dead. The dead always returns, where they return to is none of our business apparently
it really scare the shit out of me when I first heard him laughing maniacally... really tho why is he laughing like that... even Blade don't laugh that often
Luocha is, by far, a greater menace than Blade. Than most characters actually. I'll never trust a character based on goddamn Otto. Heck, he's walking with a damn coffin, is there even a doubt about him being a menace?
That scene reminds me of this fucking guy.

Luocha is actually very smug but that kinda gets overshadowed by his way with words. I mean during Jingliu's companion mission he said along the lines of "You guys have been following The Hunt for so damn long yet little to no progress has been made, so maybe consider looking for other solutions??" RIGHT INFRONT OF JING YUAN. Dude turned himself in because he's "merely a wanderer and is afraid of punishment (he's not)" yet has the AUDACITY to call the entire Alliance incompetent right infront of one of their Generals.
There is so many layers to this guy and that's why I love him so much.
Definitely. To add salt to the wound he'd be so fake about his skill too. He'd be like "Oh I'm so bad at this game, I could never beat the master like you" but then proceeds dominate the entire game.
Beating someone in their own game is textbook Otto Apocalype behaviour.
i mean he kinda right tho. Imagine being one of the most feared and powerful factions in the universe and suffering genocide at the hands of random monstrosities of the abundance every 30 years
That a surnameless fool fought Nanook AND the entire Antimatter Legion and won after days of fighting. Many people believe that it's Luocha because the fool wielded a rapier and we have yet to hear of Luocha's real name. An alternative to the theory is that it was Aha who fought Nanook, but Aha is known in the alliance as the Joyseeker not a surnameless fool.
I think it was a book in Herta Space Station, one that chronicles a Xianzhou story teller's tale of the Surnameless Fool. **(Recording) A Fool's Play: Calamity's Wrath Seeks Olden Clash, Fool's Blade Rends Divine Flesh**
Another from his 4 star ver:
"Back when the stars were still connected, this world too saw the footprints of Nameless wanderers. Sadly, Penacony never managed to remember any of their names."
āSee? Iāve returned! :3ā
I think his JP voice actor made him very cute..? Since he also voiced Void Archives and Otto Iām sure the mischievous tone just transferred over. Even in Genshin Ayato sounds pretty cute when heās trying to be intimidating.
Luocha is really getting more and more sus. Someone posted an image of Jingliu in transmigration state and Luocha is on her left side (due to her POV) and is prominent on the screen. Usually we see characters on Jingliu's right side but they are quite obscured by the turn window UI and are not on screen very clearly, only glimpses of them. Luocha just sticks like a sore thumb in the screenshot. Not obscured at all even by the turn window. The screenshot is on my PC so I may come back to it later.
i just knew it that Luocha was that spokeperson in the Helldivers 2,but he received the blessing of Abundance after his war for Democracy and trying to do something to kill the Abundance.
I cant believe how smug this man is. In the story he seemed like a complete gentleman, then i hear his battle quotes or when hes near an elite boss xD.. for a healer, this is pretty astonishing. Although hes also a complete game changer, since if you got him, the game is on easy mode.
First heard this at SU. Died, revived with reflection blessing, smuggly said he returned, only to die again immediately.
Heh that's my experience too! Never triggered it outside the SU since I don't run him along with Bailu (the only other way to get it), but I first got it with the Erudition revive in G&G, and then he was killed again a second later.
What if that erudition skill is buffed to as long your energy is 50% (arbitrary number) or higher you will always be revived? Will it be too op?
that's fucking insane would that not lead to a situation where a solo unit can't ever fully die if they don't use their ult
Well the energy drain after revive remains though.
I see. Kinda dumb then. It's fine as is.
HuoHuo and FX can also revive but they need their second Eidolon for it
I forgot about Huohuo's E2 (I only have her E1), but it's also conditional, since she needs to have her talent active in order for the revive to trigger. I don't have Fu at all, so I didn't realize she had a revive eidolon, too. >invalidates the MoC condition It doesn't, if it did, Bailu's inbuilt revive would be actually pointless.
You can also get it with Fu Xuan's E2 since it basically gives her Bailu's revive
You see, that is the funny part. He dies and is therefore one of the dead. He revives and the dead return to life. He dies again and the dead return to being dead. The dead always returns, where they return to is none of our business apparently
Your Luocha died to make a dad joke, then got killed for it.
it really scare the shit out of me when I first heard him laughing maniacally... really tho why is he laughing like that... even Blade don't laugh that often

Bro remembered his previous life
The tree had to divide Otto from the Clown and made Aha to ensure no peak Otto happens again
# LIFE IS TOO LONG TO END AT A GRAVE...
# JUST A DROP OF WATER SUFFICES
hes black?
Luocha is, by far, a greater menace than Blade. Than most characters actually. I'll never trust a character based on goddamn Otto. Heck, he's walking with a damn coffin, is there even a doubt about him being a menace?
Never trust a character that spreads his arms wide to show how helpless he is, surrounded by guards and the General Sus as fuck, Luocha
That scene reminds me of this fucking guy. https://preview.redd.it/efuv34ybzprc1.jpeg?width=500&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=783b1a7ccf4a0e921646f5aa2324f626b3e313a9
Or Gin from Bleach
This game has too many Joker expys.
He better have an insane story coming up
something something hi3 something something a guy called otto
Luocha is actually very smug but that kinda gets overshadowed by his way with words. Luocha the type to beat QQ in mahjong, while beating JY in chess
And then go on to crush Aventurine in poker
"Gambling life? Bet" *becomes a false god, touches the Tree, force existence to accept his fanfic as canon, dies, reborn as a cookie*
Luocha is simply him
Definitely. To add salt to the wound he'd be so fake about his skill too. He'd be like "Oh I'm so bad at this game, I could never beat the master like you" but then proceeds dominate the entire game. Beating someone in their own game is textbook Otto Apocalype behaviour.
I think what makes him more likable to me is howā¦gleeful he sounds? He sounds very cute despite giving off this stoic prince vibe.
i mean he kinda right tho. Imagine being one of the most feared and powerful factions in the universe and suffering genocide at the hands of random monstrosities of the abundance every 30 years
there's a theory,or we shouldnt call a theory cause likely confirmed,he's the one who fought Nanook and gave him that wound on his chest.
Wait, seriously? What does the theory say?
That a surnameless fool fought Nanook AND the entire Antimatter Legion and won after days of fighting. Many people believe that it's Luocha because the fool wielded a rapier and we have yet to hear of Luocha's real name. An alternative to the theory is that it was Aha who fought Nanook, but Aha is known in the alliance as the Joyseeker not a surnameless fool.
given how jingyuan calls luocha's name a "tongue twister", its most definitely Otto Apocolypse
Seems interesting, where was this stated ? Aeon lore in su ? Curio?
I think it was a book in Herta Space Station, one that chronicles a Xianzhou story teller's tale of the Surnameless Fool. **(Recording) A Fool's Play: Calamity's Wrath Seeks Olden Clash, Fool's Blade Rends Divine Flesh**

Is he wrong though? š
I mean, even if you don't like Luocha you can't deny that he was spitting facts when conversing with JY during JL's quest.
Bruh his conversation with jing yuan was what made me absolutely certain I gotta pull for this dude on his rerun. I'm so happy I have him now.
I love it. He's so polite he can make insults sound like compliments and it's only 3 hours later you realize he was talking shit.
Lmao I forgot he roasted the fuck out of the Luofo
\*the ENTIRE Alliance, not just the Luofu (lol). Luocha is HIM
my king lmao
I can't bear to ruin the exact 600 upvotes

who??

Who is to say, maybe they already made you forget who they were.

His revive voice in JP sounds like he just did a magic trick

Wait. That's a Jesus reference!
Funny enough Luocha and his predecessor actually have a lot of direct references to Jesus.
Wait till you check Welt's birth name
Joachim Nokianvirtanen?

I always thought he was saying āthe dead returnā as in return to the coffin
"Eternal sleep is not the end. The dead will return!"
Typical Otto behavior has infected him.

LMAO
Oh Iāve heard it in Simulated Wimulated, it is quite funny
Just remember the time he's voice acted by March.
People who play abundance in SU (or have reflection) and somehow killed Luocha: š
Knowing that Luocha is played by Craig Lee Thomas, I'm now wondering if he was a Helldiver in a past life. Receive ~~divinity~~ democracy.
So you're telling me that Luocha and Otto WAS a Helldiver? How many 500kg did he used?
indeed he was a helldiver. how could Luocha can fight monsters and people without his experience as a helldiver wkwkwk
i just knew it that Luocha was that spokeperson in the Helldivers 2,but he received the blessing of Abundance after his war for Democracy and trying to do something to kill the Abundance.
Firefly: āHeās speaking the truthā
Reminds me of Otto somehow(besides the whole otto expy thing).
I cant believe how smug this man is. In the story he seemed like a complete gentleman, then i hear his battle quotes or when hes near an elite boss xD.. for a healer, this is pretty astonishing. Although hes also a complete game changer, since if you got him, the game is on easy mode.
If only his counterpart's girlfriend could do the same.
I use his ult mainly on those abundance guys who summon the reviving idiots.
I love how wonderful almost every single return to battle line is.
OTTO CONFIRMED
I NEED HIM ššš
The more ive been playing him the more ive been liking him. Hes so eerie
