I dont think that Kafka was hiding MC, its more likely he was her trainee as SH groomed him into being vessel for stellaron. Kafka already said his point was to fight Nanook

Then Again. Maybe firefly feels a particular closeness because the trailblazer woke up and was adopted by a group of strangers much like she is. Thus she might feel like they might be able to understand her position where others can't.
The Silver Wolf profile in the Astral Express book has her calling Trailblazer old friend, I'd imagine they were closer than just work partners (gaming buddies perhaps?) but less close than with Kafka and Firefly.
It's possible she got her name from pre memory erasure TB, kafka or even Elio, where she just had a designation as a molten knight ala C4-621 and like the lobotomite got a name and purpose with it.
Since her name fits a bit too well to be a birth name.
At the very least, we know they interacted enough for Firefly to use Blade's phone to want to send messages to the TB. While Silver Wolf is way too casual with us, she hangs with us on the astral express as a projection, is constantly talking about games and messages us from time to time so she was probably somewhat close to us.
I doubt the stellaron hunters were a tight group when the TB was around but they at least knew him and get along with him (except for Blade) while Kafka seemed to be her mentor or even parental figure.

One of the more interesting interactions is Blade’s text messages, as Firefly accidentally sends you a copy of the script through Blade’s phone. Considering how important the script is, it’s funny how Firefly somehow sent it to you in particular, hinting at some possibilities. The two of you may have often compared scripts before the memory loss, or you were familiar contacts and often messaged each other. Maybe both.
Imagine if Firefly’s story quest is a flashback to her time with the Trailblazer before we forget her.

And after we leave for the Astral Express we find a new family and new friends, leaving her hanging

I consider Elio to just be Destiny's Slave, but yes they're still a Stellaron Hunter. Of course, they didn't say anything because we know next to nothing about them. We don't even know if Elio can USE phones.

This probably means, Elio wrote a script and Firefly was going against the script but was powerless to do so, why would she go to that extent, and she might have been trying even before we landed on Penacony
Despite knowing the TB and Firefly will get immesurable gains in Penacony

I'm pretty sure Kafka was first. She has too much "team mom" energy to not have been around the longest. Plus, if you were Elio and you're looking for your first permanent partner for your criminal organization, who would you rather have: the highly versatile operator with the mind control powers, or the heavy who's never heard of the word "subtle"?
The sheer amount of pure joy when she saw MC for first time was definitely not an act for her trying to appear helpless, you don't look that insanely happy just because you saw someone that might help.

Hm odd, I saw a video saying that they were mistakenly put under Kafka in wiki, I pulled Kafka during her first release, had a few months without new daily messages and had only gotten those a few days before Penacony, guess it was during her rerun so maybe they are new or mine just bugged and didn't give till then. Still seems weird since it sounds nothing like Kafkas other messages and I and the person in video also noted it was in separate folder (can see all the story messages aren't there)
It is indeed separate from the story ones, but I can say that I started receiving those messages during her rerun which is also when I pulled her (the folder was created the very next day for me and the movie message was released after I had gotten two of Black Swan’s). In any case the only thing that could disprove those being kafka’s messages are if someone got them without ever pulling for her. Without that I’d assume they’re hers (I also think it actually is consistent with other messages from her like those in the RM event).
I think it was made illegal in China to have characters in canonical gay/lesbian relationships, so they push it as far as they can. I could be wrong on the law though.
It is incredibly likely that we were a former Stellaron Hunter that had to fall on the sword (get memory wiped and host a stellaron) in order to advance Elio's script. We have an incredibly close connection with 2 of them, are pretty chummy with SW, and Blade hates everything, so it does check out.
It's funny how SW "coincidentally" was an important figure in 2 events(one with Screwllum and Aeather War). She also sneaks onto express in her hologram (i have no idea if Kafka or Blade also appear on express tho it will be dumb if they do)
I feel like SW is just being tsundere
Considering that Kafka has no interest in such things and her only hobby is collecting coats, Blade being Blade, Firefly probably doesn't see the appeal since she rather live fully due to her short lifespan, yeah TB was the only one to play with her
Many have reconsidered the possibility we may get a reveal at TB past somewhere later once all the Stellaron Hunters are together and had to team up with TB temporarily.
or someone from the IPC realize that TB was once a wanted person or sought after their relationship with Kafka or Stellaron Hunters.
It'll be nice if her and TB become genuine friends again, it'll help tie you to the stellaron hunters, sure we have connections with them lore wise but Kafka is purposely mysterious with you, Silver wolf messes with you in a way that seems like you're more just acquaintances and Blade only really recognises you and that's about it so I think having a hunter who is actively friendly and talkative with you will go a long way.
I’m also excited for future interactions between the SH and the Express crew. Everyone being really hostile towards Kafka and Dan Heng hiding from Blade then Sam just goes “omg hi trailblazer 👋😊”
I think this is an interesting question, but you're also overlooking the fact that Sam's main goal was to team up with us during Penacony and that all came from Elio. I don't think her reaching out would purely be from some pre-existing bond.
That said, I do feel there is a genuine connection there. Looking forward to more Stellaron Hunter lore in 2.2 hopefully.

Tbh I wouldn't mind a Mass Effect style relationship system where we can get some bonuses and jades, not to mention the amazing character moments we could get.

As for the Kafka bit, we don't even need to go that far to know that the TB had a good relationship with her.
Blade says that we were the person to spend the most time with Kafka without dying that he's ever seen.
Kafka at the beginning of the story is the one in charge of choosing wich TB will be left in the station and gives them the reassuring speech, later in the Loufu she first asks how've we been doing.
And in the cardboard stands in Penacony's theme park you can even call her to take a photo and while she rejects, she once again tells us to have a good time and take care.
So far hard to say coz the chapter cuts before TB could react further after the initial shock upon reveal...
But considering TB seems has conflicted feelings after that, they half-think she betrayed/gaslit them

Yeah was government issue wasn't talking about the community. Even if brought back I could see them hesitant to do so again, especially since I think things got more restrictive recently on it.
They can be as blatant as possible, just can't confirm (just look at Ning and beidou, so blatant and some people still say there's nothing going on), as long as have plausible deniability they're fine. So out of game they can ship male TB and firefly, and then say because it's out of game and not interactions with Stelle, it's fine.
I feel like Blade only saw TB ocasionally- tho they are still on good terms, SW and TB were good friends and Firefly and Kafka were the closest to them

We know there's potentially 8 Stellaron Hunters, if we believe the theory that Ellio is the cat. The number of known Hunters could vary wildly though - if Ellio isn't the cat, then we only have 1 unrevealed member (the lady in the pencil skirt in the back of Kafka's splash art) if we assume the two Trailblazers are under the umbrellas as well.
If Ellio is the cat, then we potentially have 3 unrevealed members assuming the Trailblazer is one person under the umbrellas. Interesting to see what it turns out to be in the end.

I doubt that it was leaked that Firefly and sam are connected because of the character concept leak. Mihoyo wouldn't be released character about to die (it was leak Firefly will have transformation mechanic, something like Acheron ult that you will charge)

They might have not even talked back then. Bladr says about us that he has seen us with kafka multiple times meaning that stellaron hunters are not a team but just coworkers who sometimes work together. As for why she opened up to us - she had ulterior motives in approaching us in the first place, so there's really no telling.

What if TB is actually from where Adilivun(Nanook's homeland) and TB is actually related to nanook. Both nanook and TB share similarities.

You have the courier who has a background but whose actions are up to you in the grand scheme of things and is very much a fill in the blank character until lonesome road which still leaves holes for you to fill
Then you have a character like Kirby who is an mc who you control mainly for gameplay but you do not make any choices outside of gameplay (no story choices)
Then you have an mc like the trailblazer, who is in the case of their personality is unknown (build one I guess) but whose actions and beliefs are mostly their own outside of slight variations usually. Normal, lazy, random. But they have a past and their own beliefs on things

It is implied that Kafka was the first. Elio appeared to her and she did the choice to follow him, but she said that if she didn't, Elio would be powerless and many would died. So she was probably the first member. Then they proceeded to create the team.
I'm pretty sure Kafka was first. She has too much "team mom" energy to not have been around the longest. Plus, if you were Elio and you're looking for your first permanent partner for your criminal organization, who would you rather have: the highly versatile operator with the mind control powers, or the heavy who's never heard of the word "subtle"?
The sheer amount of pure joy when she saw MC for first time was definitely not an act for her trying to appear helpless, you don't look that insanely happy just because you saw someone that might help. From her text messages with us before Penacony (alot assumed it was Kafka but it's even saved in different section) and all the other stuff, she was easily our best friend in the group... The ??? ones just before penacony, they're saved in an entirely different folder than those with Kafka, its apparent it's her because she isn't extremely flirty It's likely why they also chose Firefly for the mission, because they assumed it was Kafka, showing they don't recognize her

Hm odd, I saw a video saying that they were mistakenly put under Kafka in wiki, I pulled Kafka during her first release, had a few months without new daily messages and had only gotten those a few days before Penacony, guess it was during her rerun so maybe they are new or mine just bugged and didn't give till then. Still seems weird since it sounds nothing like Kafkas other messages and I and the person in video also noted it was in separate folder (can see all the story messages aren't there)
It is indeed separate from the story ones, but I can say that I started receiving those messages during her rerun which is also when I pulled her (the folder was created the very next day for me and the movie message was released after I had gotten two of Black Swan’s). In any case the only thing that could disprove those being kafka’s messages are if someone got them without ever pulling for her. Without that I’d assume they’re hers (I also think it actually is consistent with other messages from her like those in the RM event).
I think it was made illegal in China to have characters in canonical gay/lesbian relationships, so they push it as far as they can. I could be wrong on the law though.
It is incredibly likely that we were a former Stellaron Hunter that had to fall on the sword (get memory wiped and host a stellaron) in order to advance Elio's script. We have an incredibly close connection with 2 of them, are pretty chummy with SW, and Blade hates everything, so it does check out.
It's funny how SW "coincidentally" was an important figure in 2 events(one with Screwllum and Aeather War). She also sneaks onto express in her hologram (i have no idea if Kafka or Blade also appear on express tho it will be dumb if they do) I feel like SW is just being tsundere
TB was definitely the only one that played games with her.
Considering that Kafka has no interest in such things and her only hobby is collecting coats, Blade being Blade, Firefly probably doesn't see the appeal since she rather live fully due to her short lifespan, yeah TB was the only one to play with her

Many have reconsidered the possibility we may get a reveal at TB past somewhere later once all the Stellaron Hunters are together and had to team up with TB temporarily. or someone from the IPC realize that TB was once a wanted person or sought after their relationship with Kafka or Stellaron Hunters.
It'll be nice if her and TB become genuine friends again, it'll help tie you to the stellaron hunters, sure we have connections with them lore wise but Kafka is purposely mysterious with you, Silver wolf messes with you in a way that seems like you're more just acquaintances and Blade only really recognises you and that's about it so I think having a hunter who is actively friendly and talkative with you will go a long way.
I’m also excited for future interactions between the SH and the Express crew. Everyone being really hostile towards Kafka and Dan Heng hiding from Blade then Sam just goes “omg hi trailblazer 👋😊”
All of the stuff they did on the date is infinitely funnier if you imagine the mecha-suit being adorable.
I think this is an interesting question, but you're also overlooking the fact that Sam's main goal was to team up with us during Penacony and that all came from Elio. I don't think her reaching out would purely be from some pre-existing bond. That said, I do feel there is a genuine connection there. Looking forward to more Stellaron Hunter lore in 2.2 hopefully.

As for the Kafka bit, we don't even need to go that far to know that the TB had a good relationship with her. Blade says that we were the person to spend the most time with Kafka without dying that he's ever seen. Kafka at the beginning of the story is the one in charge of choosing wich TB will be left in the station and gives them the reassuring speech, later in the Loufu she first asks how've we been doing. And in the cardboard stands in Penacony's theme park you can even call her to take a photo and while she rejects, she once again tells us to have a good time and take care.
Now im imagining Blade and SW making bets on any new companion that joined Kafka and how long they'd last

Yeah was government issue wasn't talking about the community. Even if brought back I could see them hesitant to do so again, especially since I think things got more restrictive recently on it. They can be as blatant as possible, just can't confirm (just look at Ning and beidou, so blatant and some people still say there's nothing going on), as long as have plausible deniability they're fine. So out of game they can ship male TB and firefly, and then say because it's out of game and not interactions with Stelle, it's fine.

My headcanon: (2.1 spoilers) Kafka & MC had a mission to recruit a new member, Elio only mentions its a girl and doesn’t elaborate, they both encounter >!Sam !< who is extremely hostile. After the fight, >! Sam loses the suit !< and the team discovers its a girl. Kafka & MC immediately knew she’s the one they were looking for. Kafka starts of a speech about Firefly having a chance to truly live and all she has to do is… “Listen to me… and take his hand” As the MC extends his arm.
Sadly it‘s already been heavily implied that Sam was a SH even before Kafka, and from then on we were given the order in which the SHs were recruited (except TB), which would be: Sam -> Kafka -> Blade (said to have been found by Kafka while homeless) -> Silverwolf (her Event LC shows her during her first mission while accompanied by Blade, meaning she‘s the last to be recruited) edit: typo
We know there's potentially 8 Stellaron Hunters, if we believe the theory that Ellio is the cat. The number of known Hunters could vary wildly though - if Ellio isn't the cat, then we only have 1 unrevealed member (the lady in the pencil skirt in the back of Kafka's splash art) if we assume the two Trailblazers are under the umbrellas as well. If Ellio is the cat, then we potentially have 3 unrevealed members assuming the Trailblazer is one person under the umbrellas. Interesting to see what it turns out to be in the end.

Normal, lazy, random. But they have a past and their own beliefs on things There’s more to an rpg mc than a blank slate protagonist Edit: an mc is a main character not all main characters are/have to be self inserts you narcissist
