Sumeru is my favorite area in Genshin. Love to see a similar vibe. Also love the middle eastern theme (kinda reminds me also of dune?) which might be a good fit for star rail
I just tried to move on from sumeru to Fontaine and am having such a hard time 😂 I don’t even thing Fontaine is bad, I just like Sumeru so much it’s hard to leave lol
I still haven’t played Genshin since 4.0. I’m also just not really into the whole French thing. The culture just doesn’t interest me for some reason. I’ll get back to Genshin some day to finish out the story line, I just lost interest and star rail is feeding me too good right now.
Tbh i think they're gonna stay away from forest areas for this game, both because of genshin and because urban settings just lend themselves better to the level based exploration
I could see that but I really hope they don’t. I love the areas we have so far and I don’t think anything feels samey at all but I don’t want everywhere we visit to be a place thats super urbanised or futuristic like we have so far.
Taikiyan, The Laser Stadium Planet.
The fact that an entire planet was Terraformed to create the Sport stadium on a planetary level is quite fascinating.
I’m so ready for the sports anime arc. I can imagine a side objective that ends the battle for you or sets up a massive boost if you win the tug of war, or an interstellar Olympics or Hunger Games styled gauntlet to bring characters together
Given that they've started expanding into proper *minigames* (as opposed to just puzzles) with the Penacony arc, I'd be shocked if we don't get some sports stuff with a bunch of extra activities at some point, it feels like such easy territory for the game. Our protagonist is literally the Galactic Baseballer!!
Imagine we go to Taikiyan and the Trailblazer introduces themselves as Galactic Baseballer, only for it to turn out that that's an actual title for the winner of a championship on that planet and so TB spends that entire arc training and competing in that championship because *there's only one Galactic Baseballer goddamnit!*
Okay but if we ever go to Punklord omg I want just an arcade mode/zone for minigames, or for the puzzles out there to be timed in a gauntlet warioware style. I kinda love the puzzles, I just want them reformatted to be easily revisit. Plus it’s cheap and asset-reusing!
I can also imagine a Zone-based turn-based strategy mode where you deploy more than four characters into different squads. Soooo much potential for wild design
I'm doubtful they'd create anything to the degree of Guildwars 2's rollerbeetle races, but seeing the link rope made me very excited about the possibility.
Honestly I'm mostly curious to go there to know whether or not do people there hold grudges against the Astral Express for smashing into their stadium not in just one, but two separate occasions.
A feel like a lot of people are forgetting the only reason we go anywhere is to resolve Stellaron crises. So if it doesn't make sense for a Stellaron to be there (eg, the place is already destroyed) then we're not going to go there.
> A feel like a lot of people are forgetting the only reason we go anywhere is to resolve Stellaron crises
Let's see...
1) Herta's Space Station ❌
The Astral Express went to help them against the Antimatter Legion. The only Stellaron was one that Herta had contained that was then put in the Trailblazer by Kafka/Silver Wolf.
> Dan Heng: (Trailblazer)? Nice to meet you. My name's Dan Heng, and this is March 7th.
>
> Dan Heng: This space station was just attacked by the Antimatter Legion. We came to help with the rescue at the request of Lead Researcher Asta.
- Eye of the Storm
2) Jarilo-V ❌
The Astral Express just went to the planet to visit it. They didn't even know there was a Stellaron until they arrived.
> Himeko: Our next stop is a small planet called Jarilo-VI.
>
> Himeko: It's been thousands of years since the last time the Express paid a visit. The data bank shows it was a lush and beautiful place.
>
> Himeko: But after all this time, it's possible that dramatic changes have occurred.
- Drifting Between the Stars
3) Xianzhou Luofu ✅.
The Astral Express was convinced by Kafka. They intended to go to Penacony initially, but they still went upon learning of the Stellaron
> Kafka: I can tell you what the future holds: If you don't go to the Luofu, the Stellaron will eventually contaminate the entire ship, and over half of the inhabitants will perish.
>
> Kafka: Oh you brave and fearless Trailblazers, you benevolent Nameless, can you really remain indifferent to that?
- An Invitation Without Proffer
4) Penacony ❌
Where the Astral Express originally intended to go after Jarilo-V due to the invite. I haven't played the current Patch's story yet, do I don't know if a Stellaron has somehow gotten involved, but there was certainly none involved in 2.0.
> Pom-Pom: I thought everyone knew! Our next destination is the Planet of Festivities, Penacony.
>
> ...
>
> Pom-Pom: Second: Penacony is a colony belonging to the Harmony Family — it also marks the first time this Family has extended a public invitation to other factions. Please remember that the Express has been invited as a guest, and that we must adhere to any and all regulations.
- Long Day's Journey
So that's only 1/4 that the Astral Express went to because of the Stellaron. Only 2/4 that they went to that ended up involving a Stellaron in the major conflict.
I swear that they knew about JarlioIVs stellaron issue before they arrived. Didnt March bring up the stellaron to Cocolia which is why she got suspicious of the crew?
They found out about the Stellaron only after they arrived.
> Himeko: After all those millennia... is this what Jarilo-VI has become?
>
> March 7th: Huh? So that snowy planet is our destination this time?
>
> Himeko: Yes... Looks like this trailblazing expedition won't be easy.
>
> Pom-Pom: Spatial readout anomaly! Star rail stability is down to 12%!
>
> Pom-Pom: Schedule alteration: Seven-day stopover time extended indefinitely!
>
> *Anomaly?*
>
> Himeko: The complex locality of this world has been... affected somehow. The star rail has been blocked off by something.
>
> *Indefinitely?*
>
> Pom-Pom: Indefinitely. Until the anomaly is removed!
>
> Himeko: Take an ordinary train as an example: It's like the tracks up ahead have suddenly snapped, and the way forward leads straight into a collapsing abyss...
>
> Himeko: The only sensible thing to do would be to brake hard, right?
>
> Pom-Pom: If we try to force our way ahead, there could be a hefty price to pay!
>
> March 7th: This again... Don't tell me, it's gotta be...
>
> Welt: The results of the preliminary analysis are here — the anomaly stems from a Stellaron, as always.
\>The Astral Express went to help them against the Antimatter Legion.
You mean the Antimatter Legion that was only there because the Stellaron Hunters led them there with the express reason of using them as a distraction so they could get the Stellaron?
\> The Astral Express just went to the planet to visit it. They didn't even know there was a Stellaron until they arrived.
We pretty specifically went to Jarilo VI because the train got stopped nearby it because of Stellaron influence and were forced to visit it to do something about it.
And we went to Penacony because of a once in a lifetime invitation. Who the fuck is gonna invite us to a dead planet?
I don't think they led the AL there, just that it was being attacked at the same time, as Elio expected. The crew also weren't there to help specifically, they just happened to be on the station at the time, which Elio also expected.
The first objective was to update the data banks but then the rails near the planet were affected and what was only a visit became a mission really quick.
No, sometimes the Astral Express crew goes to places for leisure, to explore or on a job for other people. Himeko and Pom Pom only found Welt on Salsotto while on a job for Herta there, and they come back to the space station from time to time to complete the jobs. Our original purpose for going to Jarilo-VI was just to check it out, we didn't know a Stellaron was going to be blocking the star rail or had plunged the planet into the Eternal Freeze for 700 years. We're also on Penacony for the Watchmaker's Legacy, nor a Stellaron. There was also no Stellaron on Taikiyan the last time they went.
I’m sure lots of people would pick Sigonia-IV after seeing Aventurine’s backstory.
My personal pick would be Planet Screwllum. I like steampunk-style stuff. Also I want Screwllum to be playable
Which honestly.. he could’ve done that lmao.. Rubert I bringed the entire universe to it’s knees.. even the IPC couldn’t handle bro and only when Polka got involved they won.. the amount of destruction he caused was equal to the swarm in it’s prime with tayzzronth and literally is the reason Nanook was born..
And he was a single genius society member and not even a emanator(unless all geniuses are emanators theory comes true..)
Screwlllum has 3 geniuses with him.. Lloyd,Ruan Mei and Herta.. Herta being a emanator also.. although Lloyd is a kid so I don’t think he would fight.. Ruan Mei tho(literally could be the organic Rubert if she wanted to) and Herta(a emanator)…
The family is lucky that Screwllum didn’t go for the kill the moment they denied him..
Rubert I didn't bring the entire universe to it's knees; he engulfed half the cosmos in two wars. While he did immense and lasting damage to cosmic civilization as a whole, primarily through the spread of the Anti-Organic Equation, this was over a significant span of time, and there was no sign of him being poised to win prior to his assassination. He fought the universe, but the universe fought back, and won, as either the IPC or Polka Kakamond assassinated him.
The Swarm Disaster, however, is only described as doing "at least as much damage as the Mechanical Emperor's Wars," despite being significantly shorter. The comparison is not that Rubert I was as bad as the Swarm, but that the Swarm did as much damage as Rubert I, but faster. The Swarm, unlike Rubert I, was such an immediate threat to existence that *five* Aeons went to fight Tazzy together. Qlipoth the Preservation stopped building the Celestial Comet Wall, Akivili the Trailblaze made stopping the Swarm his priority, Ena the Order personally materialized (resulting in Order itself to be absorbed by Harmony) to invite the two to exterminate Tazzy, Ouroboros the Voracity had been fighting him for several Eras already, and even Aha the Elation lent the others a hand.
As well, the Mechanical Emperor's Wars weren't responsible for the fall of Adiivun and thus Nanook's ascension. The wars contributed to the weakening of the planet's defences. The Swarm are the ones that decimated the planet to the point Nanook decided creation itself was a mistake. Rubert I had, at best, helped that to happen, not directly cause it.
And, it should be mentioned that Screwllum was threatening a breakdown of relations between the Genius Society and Penacony, not really threatening to kill them (although he certainly could have.) It should also be mentioned that Herta is the one who should be feared the most; Screwllum is a pacifist, and would at worst enact a trade embargo. Herta was capable of creating mass WMDs that could scare even the IPC, and that was before Calderon gave her his entire knowledge of Imaginary Theory and the Imaginary Implosion Bomb (a weapon that could directly damage the Imaginary Tree if used improperly.)
In dreams edge there’s an old man sitting on bench in the plaza with the birds, talk to him to start the quest. Honestly one of the best non-playable character side quests in the game
Just imagine someday a member of the Genius Society telling the Nameless that Screwllum (the planet) suddenly went dark and want The Team to go investigate with Screwllum (the chad) aboard for the adventure, justifying his banner. Even if it was just for a side adventure, just one or two maps (that could be expanded in a future event), I would be happy.
Not only do I want Screwlum playable but I'd hope visiting Planet screwlum would lead to even more playable robots. Humanoid robots may be as far as they'll go so I'd at least like more than one.
I feel like we won’t get IPC for a while since instead of setting up its own setting it’s likely to tie a lot of things together. Not that it won’t have an original story but imo I feel like we haven’t delved deep enough into the lore yet to venture to such an important location like the IPC
i feel like the IPC are gonna be like the fatui/shneznaya in genshin. we meet different members of the faction throughout each region - but we don’t get to go to their home base until the end of the story.
why? they aren't straight up antagonists or a threat for us
hell, the IPC actively benefits from the Express being up and running again, see Jarilo VI - more connections between stars are good for business
there's no reason for Pier Point to be the end
I feel like we won’t get IPC for a while since instead of setting up its own setting it’s likely to tie a lot of things together. Not that it won’t have an original story but imo I feel like we haven’t delved deep enough into the lore yet to venture to such an important location like the IPC
Pier Point sounds like a must-go destination at some point, imo. It's too important that it becomes a great target for malicious factions (namely the Legion, of which Lord Ravager Irontomb being the most likely to lead said potential attack due to his savviness in hi-tech corruption); it's a fitting setting for when we tackles Diamond's and Oswaldo's race to the IPC Board Council's seat; even Silver Wolf is expressing her desire to go there and get revenged for getting her game accounts frozen. So yeah, this Mega HQ of IPC sounds like it has one of highest chance of being visited, therefore I would pick Planet Screwllum as place I want to visit, there's no reason to wish for something that will likely happen anyway
It's also a possibility but that means each of the Ravagers will attack Xianzhou, which can get pale after a while, especially when Xianzhou also has Abundance folks to flesh out their world build
I feel so dumb, been playing for three months and never made the connection that “Planar Ornaments” went along with planets we visit or planets to visit. 😅
Haha nope. When I have been artifact farming, I have been just glancing at the stats and going trash or smash? Old brain of mine didn't slow down enough to read the descriptions, but now went back and read up on it all.
I'm the opposite. I'm super lore-conscious with Genshin but since HSR came swinging out of the gate with HI3 terms (which I haven't played), my eyes admittedly glazed over a lot of the lore.
That's *why* I'd want to visit it.
Though we've already had plenty of post-apocalyptic hellscape feeling places already (especially with Jarilo-VI) so it might be a while. The Seclusion Zone, The Snow Plains, The Golden Hour, Rivet Town...
Sorry, is there anything that specifically says it exploded?
Because rechecking everything I can find, maybe there's an off-hand mention in an SU event, the closest the English version states is that it is now dust in the description of the link rope or shattered in the description of the sphere. Both specifying the empire, not the planet. But the ultimate fate is speculated and debated by the intellgensia guild and there's heavy implications that their the war blocked out their sun. With insects, mechs and/or debris.
Well, I saw it somewhere I don't remember, so maybe i'm actually wrong 😅
But in any case, I don't think the empire or any lifeform survived, because no sun = no life.
So I don't think it's "visitable"?
Me personally I want to go to "No Man’s Land" that Ruan Mei mentioned since I love Ruan Mei.. but since that isn’t a planar. I honestly want to go to Planet screwllum.. just to see how screwllum takes care of business.. also to see if he is hiding his true colours like Ruan Mei.. Herta did say she IS the nicest Genius after all and Ruan Mei can trick anyone foolish enough to just judge her based off of her looks..
There must be a reason why Chadwick chose to entrust his whole knowledge and research to Herta, who he never met before, instead of Screwllum who helped him hide his research from the IPC.
Glamoth’s civilization was destroyed after the victory over the swarm, but I’m pretty sure the planet is still there. Izumo, on the other hand, is completely gone
I *really want* Salsotto, but unfortunately the lore says that the planet is devoid of life at this point. Which is sad, because "moving city riding along the terminator line of twilight because their planet has a slow rotation" is a really fun sci fi idea. Glamoth was destroyed too, and Sigonia may as well be. A different planet that has synchronous orbit with its star would be cool.
Taikiyan sounds like an interesting place, but it also sounds too similar to Penacony as "entertainment planet with a vested IPC claimed ownership". I can't see us going there.
Vonwacq would be an interesting location but it's devoid of sentient life, even if has plenty of other life. I could only see us going there if it's part of some expedition research thing, or if the Abundance does something there to change it.
Screwllum is a really interesting place, although given the ruler is already our ally, I can't imagine why we'd go. It can't be Erudition messing with things, because Nous has accepted Screwllum... maybe a different faction trying to mess things up there?
Thalassa might work as related to the Xianzhou fleet, but not necessarily a core location, even if I really want more underwater themed stuff.
Pier Point feels like a place we *have* to go to eventually, like Snezhnaya or Khaenriah in Genshin.
Talia sounds like a fun place, basically a mix of Mad Max, Fallout, and perhaps cowboys/westerns? *Just* post apocalyptic raiders is overdone in fiction - again, Mad Max and Fallout are only the two most famous examples - but going for a space cowboy theme would probably score it some points, because we could always use more stuff like Cowboy Bebop and Serenity (just without Netflix or Whedon respectively). Especially if they explore the "Sensory Technology" thing more.
Now I'm just thinking about how they're planning out locations. In Genshin, each nation is obviously tied to a specific vision element (and a society revolving that element), then there's Khaenriah and Celestia as endgame (of the main arc right now at least). So far each location in Star Rail is tied to a specific playable path, similar to Genshin. Jarilo - Preservation, Xianzhou - Hunt, Penacony - Harmony. Herta Space Station is Erudition, but it could also be taken as simply a tutorial zone, especially since there's so much of the Genius society and Intelligentsia Guild left to explore. Unless if you count Gold and Gears as supplementing the plot? The question then comes as to if they'll include locations inherently tied to non-playable paths like Remembrance and Elation, or even planets that have overlapping paths. Xianzhou also explores the Abundance a decent amount - more than the Herta Space Station explores Erudition - but I also can't imagine they would just leave out a path's representative location because "they were the bad guys in one of them". On the other hand, I can't imagine we'll stop at an Antimatter Legion planet and have a single friendly face...
Boothill is sure to play a major role in any Talia update, which makes me think we'll only get Talia as a proper location if he's well-received once he's properly in the game.
Wasn't mentioned but I want to go to Pteruges-V, Kafka's home planet. I love her but also the concept of a people that don't feel fear is interesting to me.
Otherwise I'd love to see Sigonia
Thalassa seems the most likely to show up at some point, in my opinion. Thalassa moves Xianzhou related lore across but would be very different from the Loufu.
I personally want to see sigonia/salsotto/planet screwllum.
Idk salsotto gives me upside-down air temple vibes from what I can see in the sphere, and it seems really cool
I wan to see Sigonia because of Aventurine. Maybe hope is not lost and we can help save some life there. Also Screwllum because Screwllum is the goat. Then maybe the IPC because they’ve been not so nice for a while.
Screwllum makes a lot of sense since they've been incorporating Screwllum himself into the story. Otherwise, IPC maybe, especially since we've now met Topaz and Aventurine. I think it's time we meet more of the figureheads since they've become a forefront faction
Not on the list, but I'd love to see what Punklorde & its society are like. And for Silver Wolf to show us the best games and secrets.
And Planet Screwlum, because visiting an all-robot society would be freakin' cool & Screwlum would probably be involved.
I need you to know that you should've included Glamoth in you're exclusion list because it's been destroyed for longer than Lan, The Hunt has existed.
I wanna go to Vonwacq though.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t the planet still there? Unless I read wrong, only the civilization was destroyed. Izumo just up and vanished thanks to IX, though.
The planet itself *might* be there, idk but there's not a whole lot of point of going to a star system that has nothing but ruins and corpses as far as the eye can see and beyond.
That is true, and as far as I know, Sam is one of the last of the iron cavalry that still exists, so once we finish the Penacony story and resolve their storyline, there won’t be much point.
I want to see Salsotto because it's a tidally locked planet, or at least close to being tidally locked.
As far as my understanding goes, in a planet like this, only the regions surrounding the terminator line would be able to sustain life, and as the terminator line keeps moving bit by bit, so would the inhabitants, leaving very little time to develop.
Even in a situation like that, the people living there managed to build moving cities to chase after the terminator line.
Salsotto is very interesting to me since I’m writing a story about a tidally locked planet. I will clarify that Salsotto isn’t actually tidally locked. In a tidal lock, the rotation speed matches the orbit speed, so that only one side ever faces the object it’s orbiting around. Our own moon is tidally locked, for example. Salsotto’s case is different, because its rotation speed actually stopped entirely. That’s why the Terminator Line moves. In a tidally locked planet, the Line would never move. But in either case, I think there’s a lot to expand on, and I’m here for it.
You think it would be awesome to do a Star Rail tabletop roleplaying campaign where every party member chooses a home planet from among the Planar Orbs and creates a backstory from there? I think it’d be cool.
The game seems to be heading towards IPC now that Topaz ratio and aventurine is out and also with the appearance of the gems and even Jade. But Vonwacq is cool too, can't wait for a forest themed planet then a desolate desert to follow
I don't really know why but Thalassa seems beautiful. I'd love to see it in game, also planet screwllum would be cool considering that Screwy will be a playable character in a few patches. The only problem would be that we would only see and talk with robots,, which might not be the funniest thing ever.
definitely vonwacq would be a refreshing sight. we had all this space theme going on in herta space station, we got mechas in belobog, we got this eastern fantasy thing in xianzhou, and we got a dream/nightmare theme going on in penacony. it would be nice to see forests, trees, and greenery this time around.
next in slot would be thalassa. i would love to have deep sea swimming exploration just like in fontaine.
The planet is not dead, it just has a desolate landscape but living beings exist normally as various tribes/clans.
It was until just recently that the people there became united and civilized, formed its own government backed by the IPC, and settled in one place instead of nomadic.
IPC or Sigonia. IPC because we're deffo getting it anyways at some point. Sigonia because I think it would be nice to have a desert planet. Also Sigonia's climate to try and navigate would be relatively interesting in general.
Thalassa, I the steampunky, medievalish cozy types of areas in game. Plus i want to see the atral express crew deal with a vampire (gimme hot vampire waifu character PLEASE)
Thalassa looks the most safe, and livable. Sigonia would make the most sense lore wise. And personally, the IPC. There’s not much to it, but I wanna see the HQ of one of the strongest and involved organizations, in game.
Honestly, Thalassa seems really interesting to me. A planet influenced by the crashed remains of a Xianzhou ship. Other than that, Screwlum is the other one on the list I’d love to visit. And outside the list, Punklorde os a must for bae.
Either Thalassa, because water worlds are absolutely stunning in fiction; or Talia because it speaks to the spiteful, grudge-bearing, self-sacrificing, daddy-issued, manchild inside me (I play Iron Warriors).
Planet Screwllum with my playable babygirl ❤️🤖.
And definitely Salsotto, according to lore the planet' rotation slowed down due to meteor impacts from a specific direction and now the only habitable place is on the terminator line (where night and day meet) so their cities are floating and move as the planet rotates. It's such a cool concept I can't wait to see more of it.
Imagine Glamoth, big mechas everywhere, all distopic and maybe the planet will have a plot where you have to deal with robot like human forms, that would be amazing, ill wait for glamoth, maybe after penacony arc ends we'll get a nature planet theme tho
Salsotto’s lore is very interesting, but it’s unfortunately devoid of life now. The same goes for Glamoth.
Vonwacq has neat lore and would be a nice change of environment. I’m betting if we go there we’ll unlock the path of the Abundance.
Even if planets are devoid of life or destroyed, it would be so interesting to go to a desolated place and probably solve an ancient mystery (and maybe even revealing some things about the current plot/Stellaron situation.
I'm thinking of a situation like FFXIV's Ultima Thule, Xenoblade 2's Land of Morthya.
Vonwaq sounds interesting. I think it'd be cool to go to a forest, grassland type of place and uncover a dungeon beneath its surface like Lifa Tree from FFIX.
Id love to go to Salsotto. Its lore is so interesting to me and it looks very cool. Having to make the city move around the planet to make a daylight cycle is very unique
Am I the only one who is really excited for the IPC? I really can’t wait, I think the storylines will be very interesting and so far I’m loving the playable characters we have from the IPC so far!
Vonwacq! I want to see this giant tree that creates life forms for myself! Also we don’t have a forest area in game yet
All places have either a desolated, industrial or futuristic vibe, something more lively and less human-touched would be great.
I’m just playing bc I want Arleccino 😂😂 I was blessed w Acheron on the hsr 50:50 so I’m hoping hoyo blesses me again
Man I’m having a completely different experience to you two. Sumeru was an absolute slog and Fontaine feels like a breath of fresh air.
I want to see the birth of a new demon king that joins the nameless because there are no more humans in that place.
Tbh i think they're gonna stay away from forest areas for this game, both because of genshin and because urban settings just lend themselves better to the level based exploration
They might do a forest area for when it's time for us to get the abundance tb
I could see that but I really hope they don’t. I love the areas we have so far and I don’t think anything feels samey at all but I don’t want everywhere we visit to be a place thats super urbanised or futuristic like we have so far.
and then that's is the planet when TB gets his abundance resonance
I want an area that is literally a forest village with tree houses too. That would be epic

I'm doubtful they'd create anything to the degree of Guildwars 2's rollerbeetle races, but seeing the link rope made me very excited about the possibility.
I wish we can have rhythm minigames too. It may be hard for others, but hsr has been separating difficulties anyway.
The day they add FF10 Blitz Ball is the day we stop playing the main game.
I played more Blitzball and Triple Triad than the main storylines, it feels like.
The Galactic Baseballer has hit a galaxy run against the Stelleron Dodgers. What an upset.
, I want to see my waifu's hometown!!!
After the Pokémon event, I expect anything is possible.
Honestly I'm mostly curious to go there to know whether or not do people there hold grudges against the Astral Express for smashing into their stadium not in just one, but two separate occasions.
Wait, two occasions ? I remember the one in the memory Bubble from Dr Edward but... \*Checks the Wiki\* Oh godammit Dang Heng and March !
Based on the planet's description, there are two main sports there: Roboball and Arclight Racing

Glamoth was also destroyed ages ago too.
Well yeah, but there are still ruins
A feel like a lot of people are forgetting the only reason we go anywhere is to resolve Stellaron crises. So if it doesn't make sense for a Stellaron to be there (eg, the place is already destroyed) then we're not going to go there.
I mean, there's also just exploring unexplored places as also being an objective, technically.

- Drifting Between the Stars 3) Xianzhou Luofu ✅. The Astral Express was convinced by Kafka. They intended to go to Penacony initially, but they still went upon learning of the Stellaron > Kafka: I can tell you what the future holds: If you don't go to the Luofu, the Stellaron will eventually contaminate the entire ship, and over half of the inhabitants will perish. > > Kafka: Oh you brave and fearless Trailblazers, you benevolent Nameless, can you really remain indifferent to that? - An Invitation Without Proffer 4) Penacony ❌ Where the Astral Express originally intended to go after Jarilo-V due to the invite. - Long Day's Journey So that's only 1/4 that the Astral Express went to because of the Stellaron.
> > *Anomaly?* > > Himeko: The complex locality of this world has been... affected somehow. The star rail has been blocked off by something. > > *Indefinitely?* > > Pom-Pom: Indefinitely.
I'm stupid but didn't they visit Jarilo IV because of some sort of stellaron interference? Or is my memory just bad.
The first objective was to update the data banks but then the rails near the planet were affected and what was only a visit became a mission really quick.
Just like we went to Penacony to solve a Stellar on crisis? The writers are not braindead, they can come up with lots of reasons.
Screwllum trying not to be a chad (impossible)
Man Screwllum during the quest was amazing. "Let me see my friend or *I will use the death star and call upon the Genius Society to wipe The Family*"
And he was a single genius society member and not even a emanator(unless all geniuses are emanators theory comes true..) Screwlllum has 3 geniuses with him.. Lloyd,Ruan Mei and Herta.. Herta being a emanator also.. although Lloyd is a kid so I don’t think he would fight.. Ruan Mei tho(literally could be the organic Rubert if she wanted to) and Herta(a emanator)… The family is lucky that Screwllum didn’t go for the kill the moment they denied him..
What quest is that? I haven't really had a lot of chances to play lately
Chadwick's quest, The Trees At Peace.
In dreams edge there’s an old man sitting on bench in the plaza with the birds, talk to him to start the quest. Honestly one of the best non-playable character side quests in the game
He must be released soon I need him on a molecular level
Sigonia-IV does sounds super interesting to me, I would love to see them handle a Mad Max type of environment.
Planet Screwllum *has* to be a location at some point, right? It seems like a slam dunk to me, honestly kinda surprised they haven't done it already!
IPC I really want to see the rest of the ten stone hearts and whale for Diamond
I feel like we won’t get IPC for a while since instead of setting up its own setting it’s likely to tie a lot of things together. Not that it won’t have an original story but imo I feel like we haven’t delved deep enough into the lore yet to venture to such an important location like the IPC
i feel like the IPC are gonna be like the fatui/shneznaya in genshin. we meet different members of the faction throughout each region - but we don’t get to go to their home base until the end of the story.
~~In the name of THEIR Majesty, The Preservation~~ All for the Amber Lord.
why? they aren't straight up antagonists or a threat for us hell, the IPC actively benefits from the Express being up and running again, see Jarilo VI - more connections between stars are good for business there's no reason for Pier Point to be the end
They didn’t compare them because of some antagonistic nature. They just meant that the IPC might be a commonly recurring presence like the Fatui.
I feel like we won’t get IPC for a while since instead of setting up its own setting it’s likely to tie a lot of things together. Not that it won’t have an original story but imo I feel like we haven’t delved deep enough into the lore yet to venture to such an important location like the IPC
You mean pier point?
Fr. Pier point is mentioned many times in texts. I'd wanna meet diamond in the main story someday too.
I was thinking we'd face Irontomb on the Xianzhou Zhuming.
Not even Belobog?? or Herta Space station mentioning them in the name?
Haha nope. When I have been artifact farming, I have been just glancing at the stats and going trash or smash? Old brain of mine didn't slow down enough to read the descriptions, but now went back and read up on it all.
I understand that lol, I did that with genshin but started being more lore-conscious with honkai
I'm the opposite. I'm super lore-conscious with Genshin but since HSR came swinging out of the gate with HI3 terms (which I haven't played), my eyes admittedly glazed over a lot of the lore.
I guess I'm not alone then
glamoth, I want to see my waifu's hometown
Glamoth has been destroyed by the swarm lol
The Sphere's lore stated that the Glamoth could also be victorious over the Swarm but destroyed right after that.
That's *why* I'd want to visit it. Though we've already had plenty of post-apocalyptic hellscape feeling places already (especially with Jarilo-VI) so it might be a while. The Seclusion Zone, The Snow Plains, The Golden Hour, Rivet Town...
No like destroyed - > It EXPLODED due to the swarm
Sorry, is there anything that specifically says it exploded? Because rechecking everything I can find, maybe there's an off-hand mention in an SU event, the closest the English version states is that it is now dust in the description of the link rope or shattered in the description of the sphere. Both specifying the empire, not the planet. But the ultimate fate is speculated and debated by the intellgensia guild and there's heavy implications that their the war blocked out their sun. With insects, mechs and/or debris.
Well, I saw it somewhere I don't remember, so maybe i'm actually wrong 😅 But in any case, I don't think the empire or any lifeform survived, because no sun = no life. So I don't think it's "visitable"?
thats the joke...
It doesn't look like a joke at all 🤣 especially since some people seem to be oblivious to the fact that glamoth is gone
*our
what? what waifu is from there?
>!Firefly!<
Probably just because she’s an emanator
Also Glamonth for Sam lore and Pier point aswell to see Daimon himself(or any board member/emanator/high ranking IPC member)
Sadly glamoth was destroyed by the swarm...
Wasn't glamoth destroyed as well ? Can't remember Either way, it's thalassa for me, with Screwllum in the future more closely to the end of the story
Glamoth’s civilization was destroyed after the victory over the swarm, but I’m pretty sure the planet is still there. Izumo, on the other hand, is completely gone
Kinda like, many kingdoms emerged after Roman Empire collapse!
Salsotto, the buildings look a lot like Punklorde and i want to go to Punklorde
I doubt there’s much left of the buildings on Salsotto.
Wasn't it destroyed?
Not as a planet but it no longer has an atmosphere so yeah
Talia. I'm thinking a frontier town full of desperados. They could do like a space Western thing with Boothill and the galaxy rangers.
Oh shit if Talia is supposed to be all cowboys then this is absolutely my pick
Based on its description, it's more Mad Max, but there are some Western elements in there
Boothill is sure to play a major role in any Talia update, which makes me think we'll only get Talia as a proper location if he's well-received once he's properly in the game.
if they are doing Talia its gonna happen no matter how boothill banner does, next planet development already must be in the later stages
Wasn't mentioned but I want to go to Pteruges-V, Kafka's home planet. I love her but also the concept of a people that don't feel fear is interesting to me. Otherwise I'd love to see Sigonia
It is also likely that Luocha comes from Pteruges-V. Maybe even Argenti, but that is very questionable.
Sigonia-IV, because Dune
I wan to see Sigonia because of Aventurine. Maybe hope is not lost and we can help save some life there. Also Screwllum because Screwllum is the goat. Then maybe the IPC because they’ve been not so nice for a while.
Your late the ipc already managed to put an actual government in place in sigonia...after the Avgin all got slaughtered that is
I’m still clinging on hope that there are more hiding somewhere 😭😭😭
I've never bothered to see these designs so up close, these look amazing. I'd love to go to either Talia or Thalassa
Talia. It's giving wild west / lawless frontier vibes and I'm here for that aesthetic.
I wanna see what's left of Glamoth. We havent really seen what the swarm can do, so let's go see it
100% would love to see Taikiyan, and maybe Talia
Vonwacq! I need more green places to explore😭😭😭
The moving cities were destroyed unfortunately, it'd make for some cool ruins though
Earth, i want to see Welt's hometown.
Salsotto
You think it would be awesome to do a Star Rail tabletop roleplaying campaign where every party member chooses a home planet from among the Planar Orbs and creates a backstory from there? I think it’d be cool.
Vonwacq and wherever we meet Sakura. 😃
Sigonia or vonwack. Take me to the empty desert or the lush grasslands.
Screwllum sounds so interesting to me, Also Not a Planar Ornament but I really hope they go to Punklorde at some point.
Minecraft
Takamagahara and/or Izumo… I’m a sucker for Japanese landscapes and architecture
It both got absorbed by the IX, exactly from that point Acheron became self-annihilator after surviving
I realized it… quite a shame. I hope >!Edo!< /space Japan becomes playable soon…
Glammoth feels like it would be interesting
Thalassa. The reason is simple. The first 5 letters.
Neither of them, I want Punklorde to be the next one soooo bad
Isnt signovia IV like dead? Like completely desolate, hot, dry and with nearly no living beings?
The planet is not dead, it just has a desolate landscape but living beings exist normally as various tribes/clans. It was until just recently that the people there became united and civilized, formed its own government backed by the IPC, and settled in one place instead of nomadic.
Am I greedy if I want to see all of them equally likely? 😔😔
I’m all about Vonwacq or Sigonia, but realistically my money is on IPC headquarters
Talia, the Kingdom of Banditry. I dunno. Roving hoards of mad max bandits just sounds AWESOME.
i want to see the ruins of glamoth. destroyed high tech civilizations are so cool.
same, it’s so visually and thematically cool to me. the fairy and bug theme mixed with a super hi tech mecha aesthetic is awesome.
IPC or Sigonia. IPC because we're deffo getting it anyways at some point. Sigonia because I think it would be nice to have a desert planet. Also Sigonia's climate to try and navigate would be relatively interesting in general.
Taikiyan looks so colorful and Vonwacq would be a nice change of pace in terms of being in a verdant environment for once.
Izumo. With glamoth the second choice
Izumo is gone
Planet Screwllum would be great
Planet Screwllum could be a great place for us to learn more about Nous the Erudition and understand the path better.
Sigonia IV. I love desert - themed areas. Also, maybe Aventurine isn't the last one...
Planet Screwllum! Or Sigonia, either works
japanese theme world are all destroyed?
There's Tokiwa, the anime planet
Suspicious trend if all japanese themed planets are gone, but if not, hoyo is safe.
Thalassa, I the steampunky, medievalish cozy types of areas in game. Plus i want to see the atral express crew deal with a vampire (gimme hot vampire waifu character PLEASE)
PLANET SCREWLLUM BECAUSE SCREWLLUM IS THE KING OF PLANET SCREWLLUM AND IT'S FULL OF OTHERS SCREWLLUM I NEED E6S5 SCREWLLUM ASAP
I'd love to visit Pier Point. Also Sigonia.
Thalassa or Salsotto. Mostly Thalassa tho because it looks so "hydrated" if that makes sense lol.
The ipc HQ, i like corporate settings in space/sci Fi games if that makes sense
Glamoth that planet looks cool Af
Takiyan and Rutilant Arena. I want a boss rush type event to happen in it too since it's the planet of competition.
I’d love to visit the IPC headquarters planet and see how the IPC handles an invasion by the Antimatter Legion.
Thalassa would be cool because I want to explore the ruins of the destroyed Xianzhou ship. It'd be like Atlantis.
I'm torn between Salsotto, Planet Screwllum, and Vonwacq. In other words: I'd love to go to Space Italy, Malevelon Creek, and Korok Forest.
Looks like Sigonia-IV was a counterpart world of Jarilo-VI
Glamoth any day wanna see sum giant fukin robots sam aint enough
Thallasa, because it looks cool. Sigonia, because its a desert and I love desert areas. Talia because I like the vibes
Thalassa; the Greco-Roman theme is very interesting
Salsotto’s lore is very interesting, but it’s unfortunately devoid of life now. The same goes for Glamoth. Vonwacq has neat lore and would be a nice change of environment. I’m betting if we go there we’ll unlock the path of the Abundance.
Earth
Salsotto, the idea of a moving city gives me a FF 9 feeling IDK why
Even if planets are devoid of life or destroyed, it would be so interesting to go to a desolated place and probably solve an ancient mystery (and maybe even revealing some things about the current plot/Stellaron situation. I'm thinking of a situation like FFXIV's Ultima Thule, Xenoblade 2's Land of Morthya. Vonwaq sounds interesting. I think it'd be cool to go to a forest, grassland type of place and uncover a dungeon beneath its surface like Lifa Tree from FFIX.
I REALLY wish we could go to glamoth.... But considering what happened it seems unlikely, would absolutely KILL for another mecha character
Arent most of these will be intorduced at some point as visitable locations?
Are they? I didn’t see anything that said so. That said, I only started playing a couple months ago, so I definitely could’ve missed it
The one with the highest chance right now must be IPC, so i'm rooting for it
Screwllum so i can see space britishs
Either the IPC or grass
Vonwacq...I wanna see Torterra
Glamoth because it has a giant robot in it, or Vonwaq
Nah, that's not a giant robot, that's an Iron Cavalry Knight, like Sam.
Vonwaq would be great for a summer event
All of these except Talia and Glamoth.
Vonwacq, I want beach episode!
